Alan

Alan and Rocky are lab partners in Mr. Wilton's science class.  Alan also plays on the Angel Grove football team.  Alan has always had a hard time in school.  Although smart, he always had trouble with numbers and words - feeling the words and number were trying to trick him as he saw them upside and backwards.  During one class, Alan read his chemistry notes while Rocky made the mixture, which cause smoke to come out of the beaker.  The class had to exit the classroom until the smoke clear.  Alan had worked the notes backwards.  Mr. Wilton told Alan that if his grades did not improve, he would have to tell the coach to take him off the football team.  Alan asked for another chance, and Rocky volunteered to help Alan.  Mr. Wilton agreed to give Alan a little more time.  Alan and Rocky studied at the juice bar.  Alan's problems seemed similar to the ones Rocky's Uncle Joe had.  Alan was excited to met Rocky's uncle - a well known pro quarterback.  They went to the football field to talk to Uncle Joe.  A monster, Centiback, appeared and turned Alan, Uncle Joe, Bulk & Skull into footballs.  They were later returned to their normal state.  Later, Alan tested positive for dyslexia.
