MRS. WINSLOW

Mrs. Winslow (Kelsey's Grandmother) - Shannon Welles

Mrs. Winslow is Kelsey's grandmother.  In her youth, she was quite the sportswoman, excelling in several areas.  Money eventually replaced sports as she became wealthy and now she spent her days concern with money.  Mrs. Winslow leaves in a large mansion and was scolding her butler when she realized that she had visitors.  She hadn't seen her granddaughter in years, but she was not very welcoming to Kelsey or Carter.  Kelsey had given her a hug, but Mrs. Winslow did not return nor did she shake Carter's hand when he offered it.  There were sports pictures and trophies of Mrs. Winslow scattered throughout the room and Carter commented on it.  Mrs. Winslow dismissed it as being a long time ago.  Mrs. Winslow was in a hurried, she had to get to the bank and told them she didn't have time for a visit.  Kelsey told her that they needed her help.  Mrs. Winslow assumed it was financial help and got a wad of cash out of her purse, asking Kelsey how much she needed.  Kelsey scornfully told her it wasn't money that they needed.  Kelsey explained that four of the Starlight Crystals had been stolen.  They wanted to use Mrs. Winslow's Starlight Crystal to set a trap for Vypra.  Mrs. Winslow did not care, even when Carter told her that all of Marnier Bay could be destroyed.  Kelsey pleaded with her grandmother and Mrs. Winslow reluctantly sent her butler to fetch the Starlight Crystal.  The butler returned with the Starlight Crystal on a tray.  Mrs. Winslow told Kelsey that her mother had given her the crystal and her mother before that had given it to her.  She wouldn't know what she would do if anything happened to the crystal.  Kelsey promised that it would be safe and gave her grandmother a kiss on the cheek before taking off with Carter.  Mrs. Winslow was surprised by the show of affection and touch her cheek and smiled at little.  Unfortunately, the Rangers were the ones trick out of the last crystal.  Kelsey returned with Carter to her grandmother's house with the awful task of telling her.  Mrs. Winslow was not happy and yelled at Kelsey.  She shouted that she should have never let Kelsey have the crystal.  Kelsey tried to apologized but Mrs. Winslow did not care and pointed towards the door, telling them to leave.  Kelsey left in tears.  Carter paused and told Mrs. Winslow you have all this, but nothing here - pointing to his heart and then he left.  Mrs. Winslow was startled by Carter's words.  She stood by the window and watch as Kelsey - in tears - and Carter talked.  Eventually Kelsey would take off running and Carter would follow.  Later, Mrs. Winslow, dressed in various protective gear and wielding a hockey stick, stormed a warehouse where Kelsey had been captured.  Riding on a forklift, Mrs. Winslow shouted no one messed with her granddaughter.  The surprise appearance of Mrs. Winslow gave Kelsey an opportunity to break free from the Batlings.  Mrs. Winslow battled a couple of Batlings and rather enjoyed herself.  Mrs. Winslow also gave a good trashing to the laser that Vypra was powering up.  The laser was about to go and Kelsey told her grandmother that they had to leave.  Mrs. Winslow and Kelsey hurried outside as an explosion took place inside.  Kelsey had been surprised to see her grandmother and asked her what she was doing here.  Mrs. Winslow told her that she had come to get the most precious thing in the world to her.  Kelsey, disappointed, replied the crystal.  Mrs. Winslow laughed and told her no, you.  Mrs. Winslow and Kelsey hugged.  Carter contacted Kelsey, telling her that they needed her.  Mrs. Winslow told Kelsey to go help her friends and smiled as Kelsey left to help the Rangers.  The following day, Mrs. Winslow and Kelsey went roller blading.  They encountered Kelsey's friends at a picnic table and invited them to join them.  Carter, Dana, Joel, and Chad declined and Mrs. Winslow teasingly called them chicken.  Mrs. Winslow then challenge Kelsey to a race and they race off together and happy.
