Rainbow Fortress

Rainbow Fortress is where Rainbow Mask runs his operation.  It is a very strong base with a super alloy defense barrier that shields the fortress.  Even missiles cannot destroy the shield. The only weakness to the fortress was a hole on top of the shield.  Big enough for Variblune to enter.   Rainbow Mask came up with a plan to take Variblune from the Gorengers and use it to attack several cities in Japan. When Variblune is above the Rainbow Fortress, several cables, with hooks, shoot towards Variblune and attach to the aircraft.  Akira struggles to keep Variblune from being pulled down.  Eventually Variblune is pulled down into a hangar.  Akira transforms into Ao Ranger and jumps out before the Variblune reaches the floor of the hangar.  The roof of the hangar closes.  Ao Ranger lands on top of the roof.  Several Zolders go after Ao Ranger.  Using a special technique, Ao Ranger heads towards the Zolders.  Ao Ranger fights the Zolders.  Ao Ranger kicks one of the Zolders off the roof.  Ao Ranger jumps off the roof.  Rainbow Mask throws his staff at Ao Ranger but misses.  Ao Ranger leaps up back on top of the roof.  Ao Ranger fires his Blue Cherry at Rainbow Mask and strikes him in the face.  Rainbow Mask slides out of the arrow.  Rainbow Mask makes three clones of himself.  Ao Ranger leaps back down and fights Rainbow Mask and his clones.  It is difficult as he is outnumbered.  Rainbow Mask uses his staff to summon Rainbow Beams.  The beams hit Ao Ranger.  Rainbow Mask then throws Rainbow ropes towards him and Ao Ranger is quickly covered in it.  The rest of the Gorengers used their Birdies to take to the skies and search for Ao Ranger.  Meanwhile, Rainbow Mask uses his staff and causes part of the ground to sink.  The shaking of the ground throws Ao Ranger off balance and he tumbles down.  Momo Ranger spots Ao Ranger.  The four Gorengers land close by and race towards Ao Ranger.  Ao Ranger is hurt and Aka Ranger suggests they summon Variblune.  Ao Ranger pulls out his handheld transistor radio and calls for Variblune.  Variblune is chained up in the hangar.  Ao Ranger notes there is no response.  The signal is being blocked.  They were after the Variblune from the beginning.  Ao Ranger has a hard time standing and Momo Ranger, Mido Ranger, and Aka Ranger help him stand up.  Ki Ranger vows he is not going to let that happen.  Let me recapture it!  Aka Ranger agrees and suggests that the three of them will go.  Aka Ranger, Ki Ranger, and Mido Ranger activate their Birdies.  Once more they are in the skies.  Rainbow Mask is informed that the Gorengers are approaching us.  Rainbow Mask is confident they will never find their way into our Rainbow Fortress.  A Zolder actives the shield.  Aka Ranger notes the barrier.  Ki Ranger states he will destroy it with his head-butt.  Instead Ki Ranger is bounced off the barrier.  Mido Ranger tosses his Midomerang and the barrier tosses it back. Aka Ranger states, normal strategy won't work.  Let's return for now.  The rest agree.  The Gorengers return to their secret base. Rainbow Mask is very pleased and gloats, is that all you've got Gorengers?  Rainbow Mask laughs.  Sun Halo Mask enters and tells Rainbow Mask, this is no time for laughing.  The two face each other and Sun Halo Mask tells Rainbow Mask to take Variblune and carry out a raid on Tokyo right now.  The Zolders throw black netting on Variblune.  Both Rainbow Mask and Sun Halo Mask are in the cockpit of Variblune as it takes to the skies. Their attack is very successful. Eventually Akira returns.  He fights and defeats a couple of Zolders.  He tries to stop a cable car, but is unable to.  Then he leaps onto the cable car and grabs a hold of a cable from inside the cab and holds on for dear life.  Tsuyoshi, Daita, Kenji, and Peggy are on their way on their Machines. Akira has made his way to the door opening of the cable car.  Two Zolders drag to shake him off.  Below, Daita, Kenji, and Peggy race towards the cable car. They immediately spot Akira, dangling from the cable car.  Several Zolders with guns, suddenly surround them.  Daita leaps towards the Zolders.  Peggy lands a powerful kick on one of the Zolders.  Daita takes another Zolder and squeezes with all his might.  Peggy lands a karate chop on another Zolder. Tsuyoshi is on a boat, racing towards the cable car that Akira is hanging onto.  After circling, Tsuyoshi fires his Silver Shot at the Zolders.  One is hit and falls down into the lake.  Akira kicks the other two Zolders.  On the shore, two Zolders throw explosives at Tsuyoshi's boat.  Akira is worried about Tsuyoshi.  Tsuyoshi quickly resurfaces.  Akira is relived that Tsuyoshi is ok.  Akira uses the steal beams to make the rest of the way to Rainbow Fortress.  Akira encounters a couple of Zolders and defeats them.  Akira soon spots a truck and follows it.  The truck enters a hangar.  Akira follows, staying high above on the steel beams.  Rainbow Mask is directing several Zolders to load up Variblune with missiles.  Akira notices the radio interference device and knows he has to destroy it.  Akira takes an arrow and throws it at the device. The radio interference device explodes, startling Rainbow Mask.  He demands the Zolders find out what is going on.  Akira uses his hand held transistor radio to talk to Variblune.  He tells Variblune to take off.  Variblune starts up.  Akira then tells Variblune to blow up the hanger.  Variblune turns in a circle and exits the hangar.  Akira tells Variblune to go!  Explosions follow as Variblune exits the hangar.  Once outside, Akira has Variblune stop.  Akira gets into Variblune and it takes off into the sky.  Rainbow Mask curses them.  Rainbow Mask tells the Zolders to launch the missiles.  With great skill, Akira has Variblune outmaneuver the missiles. Akira spots a hole on top of the fortress' shield.  Variblune fires at the device that operates the shield.  Rainbow Mask is furious that Akira broke the barrier.  Akira, with Variblune, fires at the rest of the operation.  Akira lands Variblune. Several Zolders, with Rainbow Mask, run away from the fires and explosions.  Ao Ranger calls out to Rainbow Mask and he turns around.  Rainbow Mask curses him once more.  Ao Ranger fights Rainbow Mask.  Rainbow Fortress arises from beneath the ground.  Close by, Tsuyoshi, Kenji, Daita, and Peggy had been watching.  They quickly transform. Using their Birdies, they quickly fly to where Rainbow Mask is.  The Gorengers quickly surround Rainbow Mask.  Ao Ranger fires his Blue Cherry at Rainbow Mask.  It hits his staff.  Rainbow Mask angrily removes the arrow.  Rainbow Mask sends the Zolders after the Gorengers.  Aka Ranger kicks several of the Zolders.  Ki Ranger punches and then tosses a Zolder.  Momo Ranger kicks a couple of Zolders.  Ao Ranger hits a Zolder.  Mido Ranger fights a couple of Zolders with his Midomerang.  Aka Ranger uses his Red Vute and strikes a Zolder.  Mido Ranger fights another set of Zolders with his Midomerang.  Ao Ranger strikes a Zolder.  Ao Ranger spots Rainbow Mask watching.  Ao Ranger fires his Blue Cherry at a Zolder and it is hit.  Momo Ranger uses her Earrings Bomb on several Zolders.  Ki Ranger knocks a pair of Zolders against each other.  Ao Ranger kicks a Zolder.  Mido Ranger throws his Midomerang and hits several Zolders.  The Zolders are defeated.  The Gorengers quickly surround Rainbow Mask.  Rainbow Mask uses his staff to summon Rainbow Fire.  Several explosions erupt in a circle around Rainbow Mask.  The Gorengers retreat high up in the trees.  Rainbow Mask uses his staff to summon Cannon Fire.  Several more explosions erupt on the ground.  The Gorengers race after Rainbow Mask.  In the distance, Sun Halo Mask watches, calls them fools, and leaves.  Rainbow Mask hides behind a boulder.  Ao Ranger wants to take care of Rainbow Mask.  Ao Ranger uses Blue Cherry.  Ao Ranger uses his handheld transistor radio and guides the arrow.  He had installed a rudder on the arrow, so it curved around the rock.  Rainbow Mask is furious and charges towards them with his staff.  The Gorengers summon Gorenger Storm.  Momo Ranger places a pink ball on to the ground and kicks it to Ki Ranger.  Ki Ranger head butts the yellow ball towards Mido Ranger.  Mido Ranger kicks the green ball towards Ao Ranger.  Ao Ranger kicks the blue ball towards Aka Ranger.  Aka Ranger leaps up and kicks the red, spikey ball towards Rainbow Mask.  It hits Rainbow Mask and he is destroyed in the explosion.  The Gorengers hurry onto Variblune as Rainbow Fortress is about to explode.  Variblune quickly takes off and Rainbow Fortress explodes below them.
