Rainbow Mask had come up with a plan to steal Variblune and use it to attack Tokyo. Rainbow Mask was ordered to work with Sun Halo Mask, but he resented doing so. Rainbow Mask did steal Variblune and used it to bomb Tokyo. Unfortunately, Ao Ranger was able to get Variblune back. Rainbow Mask battled the Gorengers and was destroyed by Gorenger Storm. Afterwards, Black Cross Fuhrer curses the Gorengers.
