Dark Dimension

The Dark Dimension belongs to Rita Repulsa and is similar to a prison.  It's a place Goldar likes to use frequently.  Jason was the first Ranger to find himself in the Dark Dimension.  One moment he was talking to Tommy and when he turned around, he found himself in a strange place.  The walls are covered with bars, in a wagon wheel spoke fashion, and fog covers the floor.  Jason looks around puzzled.  He quickly walks over to one of the walls and grabs a hold of a bar.  A surge of electricity shoots through Jason, hard enough to knock him off his feet and onto the floor. Jason gets up onto his knees and tries to contact the Command Center.  He gets no response.  Suddenly he hears a voice - it is Goldar.  Goldar tells him his communicator won't work in here.  Jason turns around and quickly gets up to his feet.  Goldar laughs as he tells Jason he must face him all alone.  Jason starts searching behind him for his morpher.  Goldar notes the movement and holds out Jason's morpher.  Goldar laughs as he asks Jason if he is looking for this?  Jason tries his communicator once more.  Still no response.  Goldar gloats that he told him it wouldn't work.  Goldar tells him his power morpher might.  Jason goes after his morpher.  Goldar knocks Jason to the ground.  Goldar laughs as he asks Jason surely you can do better than that?  Jason demands that Goldar give him his power morpher.  Goldar remarks now he is demanding, but soon he will be begging.  Goldar adds if Jason was worthy, he would take it.  This stirs Jason up and he makes another attempt to get his power morpher.  Goldar grabs a hold of Jason's fist and pushes him to his knees and then flips him.  Goldar laughs.  Jason becomes angry and tells Goldar not to count him out yet.  Jason flips back onto his feet and lands a flying kick onto Goldar's chest.  Instead of becoming frighten, Goldar continues to laugh at Jason.  Jason and Goldar fight.  Goldar lands a punch into Jason's stomach.  Goldar then grabs a hold of Jason and shoves him high against a column.  Jason's feet are dangling as he struggles to break free.  Goldar tells Jason to understand one thing, he can finish him off anytime he chooses.  Goldar drops Jason and he slides down to the floor.  Goldar tells Jason that Rita Repulsa has given Jason to him as a reward for his faithful service to her.  Goldar laughs as Jason collapses onto the floor.  Jason becomes frighten as he realizes the grave situation he is in.   Jason tries his communicator once more, trying to get a hold of Alpha 5 and the rest of the team.  Goldar continues to laugh at Jason.  Goldar tells Jason to continue to call his friends, because without them he is nothing!  Goldar's sword appears in his hands.  Jason becomes taken aback to see the weapon.  Goldar tells Jason he may still toy with him before he disposes of him and then again, he may not. Goldar continues to taunt Jason.  He tells him if he had his power morpher, he could get out of here.  Jason asks him what's his point?  Goldar deliberately drops the power morpher onto the floor.  Goldar tells Jason to come and get it - if you are brave enough!  Jason lands a kick on Goldar, flips over and then takes a dive towards the power morpher. Goldar beats him to it as he slams his sword onto the floor, right in front of the power morpher.  Goldar then kicks Jason onto the floor.  Goldar waves his sword back and forth in front of Jason, who is still on the floor.  Goldar tells Jason he thinks he's finally ready to end this game.  Goldar laughs as he raises his sword.  Jason is very frighten.

Goldar continues to wave his sword back and forth in front of Jason.  Jason is still laying on the floor.  Goldar has had so much fun, he is almost sorry to see it end.  Goldar slams the sword down, just missing Jason's face as Jason rolls away.  Jason quickly jumps away from Goldar, and then dives into the fog.  Goldar looks around and doesn't see Jason.  Goldar angrily starts slamming his sword into the floor at random places, hoping to hit Jason.  Jason stays hidden beneath the cover of the fog.  Goldar yells there is no escape Jason! Goldar becomes more angry as he continues to slam his sword into various parts of the floor.  Jason is still hiding beneath the cover of the fog.  Jason can hear the clanging of the sword getting closer until Goldar is standing above him.  Jason holds his breath as Goldar slams the sword down once more.  Jason moves his head just in time as the sword comes down.  Jason stays silent as Goldar looks around.  Goldar steps over Jason as he continues to search for him.  Goldar states you are only prolonging the evitable.  Jason breaths a sign of relief as Goldar walks away demanding that Jason show himself.  Goldar continues to go around the room, slamming the sword down.  Jason suddenly gets up with a scream of rage.  Jason leaps into the air and lands a kick onto Goldar's chest, knocking Goldar down.  Jason is prepared to fight.  Goldar gets up as Jason asks him how does it feel to be outsmarted by a human being?  Goldar laughs as he replies no human has ever defeated him.  Jason is determined to change that.  Jason and Goldar fight.  Goldar lands a kick that knocks Jason to the floor.  Goldar swings his sword around and laughs. Goldar is certain that Jason is not begging for mercy because he knows Goldar would never grant it.  Goldar is about to strike, when Green Ranger appears.  Goldar is confused, he thought Rita Repulsa wanted him to destroy Jason.  Green Ranger tells Goldar,  Rita wants that pleasure to be his.  Goldar vanishes.  Jason stands up and faces Green Ranger.  They circle each other as they talk.  Green Ranger tells Jason, so we meet again.  Jason doesn't understand - you wear a Green Ranger costume, but your loyalty is to Rita.  Green Ranger tells Jason he is her Green Ranger and she is his Empress.  Jason yells she's evil.  Green Ranger replies, so am I.  Jason and Green Ranger fight.  Jason gets knocked down to the floor once more.  Green Ranger laughs as he tells Jason soon you and your friends will be a memory. Jason kicks out at Green Ranger and then gets up.  Jason and Green Ranger fight.  Green Ranger tells Jason he is a skilled warrior.  Jason wants to end this, he does not want to fight Green Ranger.  Green Ranger thinks it's because Jason knows he will win.  Jason denies this. Jason tells Green Ranger if he was truly a Ranger, he would be on Zordon's side, not Rita's.  Green Ranger tells Jason that Zordon is a memory.  Jason and Green Ranger fight again. Jason gets knocked down to the floor.  His morpher is in sight and Jason grabs it.  Green Ranger spots this and tells him no you don't.  Green Ranger places his boot on Jason's wrist.  Jason is unable to get away.  Green Ranger laughs.  Green Ranger announces it's over, I am the victor.  The Sword of Darkness appears in Green Ranger's hands.  Green Ranger asks Jason, what he thinks of his sword as he swings it above him?  Green Ranger tells Jason he is about to pay the price of defeat.  Green Ranger continues to laugh and wave his Sword of Darkness above Jason.  Green Ranger tells Jason for what it is worth, you put up a pretty good fight.  Green Ranger raises the Sword of Darkness above him and positions it with the tip of the blade facing down. There is a blaze of red, just as Green Ranger brings down the Sword of Darkness.  The Sword of Darkness hits the floor seconds after Jason had been teleported away.  Green Ranger is furious as he looks around and realizes Jason is gone. Moments later, a hologram of Goldar's face appears.  Goldar is very displease with Green Ranger.  Goldar tells Green Ranger you had Jason at your mercy and you let him escape. Green Ranger angrily replies Jason was teleported out!  Goldar doesn't accept that excuse - you had more than enough time.  Green Ranger wants another chance.  Goldar grudgingly tells Green Ranger you may get another chance, but for now you must remain where you are. Later, Green Ranger is working on his martial arts.  Green Ranger manages to tell Rita Repulsa that he has worked hard and is ready for another chance.  Rita's voice replies your time will come.  Green Ranger continues his workout.  Green Ranger is eager to crush the Power Rangers. Instead, the Power Sword was destroyed and the spell was broken.  Green Ranger joined the rest of the Rangers in their battle against Rita Repulsa. 

Tommy was in the park with Kimberly when suddenly Goldar appeared.  Within moments Tommy was captured.  The Putties and Tommy appear in the dark dimension.  Goldar steps out of the fog and comments, just like old times, Green Ranger.  Tommy wants to know what this is all about.  A Putty releases his hold on Tommy and flips over to Goldar to hand over Tommy's morpher.  Goldar is pleased to have the morpher.  He commands the Putties to leave him to me.  The Putties vanish.  Goldar tells Tommy to get comfortable.  Rita has big plans for you.  Tommy refuses and charges towards Goldar.  They fight.  Goldar kicks Tommy and Tommy lands on the floor.  Goldar laughs as Tommy gets back up.  Tommy tries to get a hold of Alpha 5 via his communicator.  Goldar tells Tommy your telecommunication device doesn't work in this dimension.  Tommy asks Goldar, why am I here?  Goldar replies, it's simple.  If you serve Rita Repulsa, you can keep your powers.  If not, you'll lose them when the candle burns out.  Tommy asks, what candle?  Goldar replies, the green candle.  Goldar moves aside and behind Goldar is the green candle. Goldar laughs.  Goldar tells Tommy, it's made of very special wax.  Once it burns out, Rita will have stolen your powers.  Goldar laughs again.  Tommy is in disbelief.  Sparks start shooting from the candle. Tommy tells Goldar, he's not going to let him get away with this.  Goldar remarks, like to stop the candle from burning, be my guest.  Tommy runs towards Goldar and lands a kick on his chest.  Goldar and Tommy fight.  Goldar hits Tommy and Tommy goes flying.  Tommy gets back up as Goldar laughs.  Goldar tells Tommy, you are doomed!  Tommy glances at the candle and then back at Goldar.  Rita contacts Goldar and tells him she needs him.  Goldar tells Tommy he is being called to battle. Tommy glances over at the green candle. Goldar catches his look.  Goldar tells Tommy, don't get any foolish ideas, Ranger.  The candle will be safe while I'm away.  Goldar uses his sword to create a chain that bonds Tommy.  Tommy struggles against the chain, but he cannot break free.  Goldar laughs once more.  Goldar teleports out.  Tommy continues to struggle against the chain as he anxiously watches the green candle burn.  Goldar reappears in the dimension.  Goldar is happy to report your miserable friends are losing the battle.  Goldar uses his sword to remove the chain around Tommy.  Tommy tells Goldar, he will not defeat them.  Goldar replies, when she has your power, Rita will be able to defeat everyone.  Tommy claims, she will never have it!  Goldar disagrees, she will, see how it burns.  Goldar challenges Tommy, like to try stopping it again?  Tommy runs towards Goldar and they fight once more.  Goldar kicks Tommy in the stomach and knocks him to the floor.  Tommy gets back up and is ready to fight once more.  Goldar tells Tommy, face it Green Ranger, you're trapped.  Tommy leaps in with a kick.  During the fight, Tommy manages to wrestle Goldar's sword away from him.  Tommy tells Goldar, I saw how you got here.  Now let's see if it works in reverse.  Tommy slams the sword onto the floor as Goldar tries to grab the sword away from Tommy. They are teleported to the park.  Goldar has his sword, but Tommy fights Goldar and breaks free.  Tommy tells Goldar, see you later gold guy! In the dark dimension, the green candle continues to spark and burn.

Goldar is in the dark dimension watching the green candle burn.  Goldar announces to Rita Repulsa, the green candle burns bright, oh queen.  Soon it will be out and then Green Ranger's power will be yours. The green candle continues to rapidly burn.  Meanwhile, the Power Rangers had come up with a plan to get the green candle.  Billy worked quickly and they soon had Molecular Decoders, which would allow someone to enter the Dark Dimension.  The teens set up the Molecular Decoders up in a park.  Jason enters the Dark Dimension and the portal closes behind him.  Jason is surprised to see Goldar is there.  Goldar welcomes Jason back and refers to him as an old friend.  Jason gets into a fight stance and glances quickly at the green candle.  Goldar holds up his sword as he continues, what an unexpected pleasure.  Goldar and Jason fight.  Jason manages to land a kick on Goldar.  Goldar isn't fazed.  He gloats to Jason that he thinks he's going to save his friend.  You don't have a chance!  Jason almost makes it to the candle, but Goldar grabs a hold of him and throws him to the floor.  Goldar laughs and taunts Jason.  Come and get it little Red Ranger.  Meanwhile, Zack's communicator goes off and he answers it.  Zordon tells them you must abort the mission.  Green Ranger is in serious trouble. (Green Ranger was battling Cyclops and having a difficult time.) Billy asks about Jason.  He's not back yet.  Zordon replies, one of you will have to enter the portal and retrieve him.  Zack tells Zordon he will go.  Kimberly warns Zack to be careful.  Get Jason and yourself back safely.  Zack tells them he is ready.  Billy and Trini power up the Molecular Decoders.  When the portal opens, Zack walks through it.  In the Dark Dimension, Jason and Goldar are battling.  Zack walks through the portal.  Jason kicks Goldar to the side when Zack walks up to him.  Jason asks Zack what is he doing here?  Zack tells Jason he has to come back.  Tommy's in big trouble.  Goldar exclaims you're all in trouble now!  Jason tells Zack if we don't get the candle, he will lose his powers.  Zack replies, if we don't get to him in time, he will lose his life.  Goldar asks which will you choose Red Ranger?  Jason is very reluctant to leave but Zack leads him out of the Dark Dimension.  Goldar tells them they give up too easily!  Zack and Jason walk out of the portal and are back in the park.  Although upset over not being able to retrieve the green candle, the teens morph and head into battle.  Ultrazord is formed.  Ultrazord fires it's weapons at Cyclops as Cyclops charges towards it.  Cyclops is destroyed.  The Rangers are jubilant.  Red Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers to get to the Command Center.  The Rangers leap out of Ultrazord immediately.  In the Dark Dimension Goldar watches as the green candle burns.  Goldar laughs.  The green candle is almost out.  Soon my queen shall be all powerful.  The green candle burns out.  The Rangers teleport into the Command Center.  Red Ranger declares he's going back in after the candle but it is too late.  Instead, Green Ranger gives his power coin to Red Ranger, preventing Rita Repulsa from obtaining the power. 

Rita Repulsa was aware of the Youth Center hosting Parents' Day.  She had all the everyone inside the Youth Center teleported to the Dark Dimension.  Moments later, Billy entered the Youth Center, confused to see it empty.  She sent down Dramole, who hypnotized Billy.  Billy teleported to the Command Center and deactivated Alpha 5 and took the Dragon Dagger.  Jason, Trini, Zack, and Kimberly entered the Youth Center afterwards and were also confused by the empty room with evidence that there had been people there.  The four teens teleported to the Command Center, where Zordon updated them on what had happened. Zordon informs them, Billy has taken the Dragon Dagger to Rita's Dark Dimension.  You must find him and try and stop him before it's too late.  I'll keep trying to locate your parents.  Zack, Jason, Kimberly, and Trini morph and teleport out. Black Ranger, Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Pink Ranger arrive in the Dark Dimension, just as Billy is walking towards Goldar with the Dragon Dagger.  Red Ranger shouts out, Billy, don't do it!  Goldar boasts, it's no use, he's under my control.  Yellow Ranger shouts out encouragement, fight it Billy!  Don't let Rita win!  Goldar calls them fools and summons several Putties.  Goldar knocks Billy down to the floor and laughs.  Red Ranger fights a group of Putties.  Billy watches the fighting all around him.  Black Ranger fights another group of Putties.  Yellow Ranger fights a batch of Putties.  Pink Ranger fights several Putties as well.  Goldar joins in the battle and fights Black Ranger.  Goldar knocks Black Ranger to the side.  Red Ranger battles Goldar, but is soon knocked aside as well.  Yellow Ranger battles Goldar.  Billy watches the four Rangers fight Goldar.  Red Ranger fights Goldar again and is knocked aside again.  Pink Ranger fights Goldar but is soon flipped onto the floor.  Goldar leaps out of the battle and lands next to Billy.  Goldar takes the Dragon Dagger from Billy.  Red Ranger shouts no!  Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Black Ranger hurry over to Red Ranger.  The Putties circle them.  Suddenly the Putties vanish.  The spell is broken and Billy is puzzled, what's happening?  Goldar calls Billy a fool and tells him, he has just given the Dragon Dagger to me!  Billy is horrified and cries out oh no!  What have I done?!  Red Ranger tells him, it's not your fault Billy.  You were under a spell.  Goldar tells them they have all fallen into his trap.  Now I have control over the Dragonzord, you have no choice but to surrender your power coins in exchange for your parents.  Black Ranger tells Goldar, he's crazy.  Why should we do what you say?!  Goldar replies, because you really have no other alternative.  An hour glass appears in Goldar's hand.  Goldar tells them, this will remind you of the time you have slipping away.  Once the sand is through the glass, you must make a decision.  Your power coins or your parents.  Goldar laughs and vanishes.  Yellow Ranger asks, what do we do?  Red Ranger replies, figure out  a way to keep our coins and save our parents.  Black Ranger asks about Billy.  Pink Ranger notes the spell has worn off and we really need him.  Red Ranger agrees.  Red Ranger tells Billy, come on, let's go!  It's Morphin' time!  Billy morphs and the Rangers teleport out of the dark dimension.  A battle follows, in which the Rangers lose.  Having no choice, the Rangers give their power coins to Goldar.  Only to have Goldar not release the people who were at the Youth Center.  Distraught, the teens teleport to the Command Center.  The viewing globe shows images of various people from the Youth Center, walking aimlessly around in the dark dimension.  Kimberly comments, they all look so strange.  Trini reassures her.  At least Zordon was able to locate them and we can see that they are unharmed.  Zack is still upset.  I can't believe we trusted Goldar!  He tricked us.  Billy asks, what else could we have done?  Zordon tells them they made the right choice.  You should be proud of yourself.  Alpha 5 agrees.  It was such a hard decision.  Kimberly is concern.  So what do we do now?  Goldar has all the power coins.  Jason pulls out the dragon coin and comments, not all the coins.  We still have one.  Just outside the Youth Center, Dramole leaves as a lone young man makes his way towards the Youth Center.  The young man enters the Youth Center and looks around the empty room.  Tommy asks, where is everybody? Tommy is teleported to the Command Center and is given back his powers.  Green Ranger fights Goldar and gets the power coins and the Dragon Dagger back.  The people in the Dark Dimension are returned to the Youth Center, with no memory of what had happened.
