At Angel Grove's airport, Kimberly is talking on the payphone to her friends. Kimberly is very excited because her Uncle Steve is taking her flying. Uncle Steve is amused to see Kimberly on the phone. He tells her that he just has to get some maps and they are on their way.
At the Youth Center, Jason is working out on the punching bag as Zack holds it for him. Zack spots Angela. Zack is very smitten with Angela. Jason teases Zack about whether Angela even knows him. Zack steps up to the challenge and approaches Angela. Zack asks her if she has any time for the Zack man. Angela replies get real. Jason feels bad for his friend.
From her balcony, Rita has been watching Kimberly. Rita comes up with a plan. Rita wants a sleeping potion for Uncle Steve. Once he's asleep, Kimberly will be eliminate and they will have one less Ranger to deal with. Baboo, Squatt, and Goldar are there with Rita. Goldar likes Rita's plan. Rita then wants to send down Snizzard to take care of the rest of the Rangers.
At the airport, Squatt arrives next to Uncle Steve's plane unseen. Squatt pours the sleeping potion into the soda can left on the plane. The potion is so powerful it makes Squatt sleepy just pouring it. Squatt vanishes. Also at the airport are Bulk & Skull. They are watching the planes take off. Bulk tells Skull that he had always wanted to be a pilot. Skull proudly tells Bulk that he could be a pilot because of a remark Mr. Caplan had made. Mr. Caplan had told Skull that he was an airhead. Kimberly excitedly walks alongside Uncle Steve as they head over to his plane. Bulk spots them and points the two out to Skull. Skull is very excited to see Kimberly. Bulk & Skull raced over and catch up to Kimberly and Uncle Steve. Kimberly is not happy to see them. Bulk & Skull really want to ride on the plane with them. Kimberly delicately tries to point out that it is a small plane. Uncle Steve has no problem taking Bulk & Skull along, much to Kimberly's dismay.
