Jeremy asks Jason to teach him a cool move. Jason gives a demonstration of a back leg, front kick. Jeremy does it well. Jason then gives a demonstration of a harder move. Jeremy tries it and doesn't do as well. Jason tells Jeremy to try it again, but focus. Jeremy does and he does a lot better. Jeremy is thrilled that he did it. Jason tells Jeremy when he was his age, he was really insecure. Martial arts helped me to build my self confidence. Jeremy is impressed, and tells Jason now he is the coolest. Jason tells Jeremy all he has to do is practice. Jeremy reveals that he hopes one day to be as cool as the Power Rangers. It's what he wants to be when he grows up. Jason and Jeremy continue to practice their martial arts.
Rita is furious to see Jason down on the beach. She pokes Squatt with her wand as she yells at Squatt and Baboo. She screams what is he doing down there?! Squatt replies martial arts. Rita is furious. Now finding the mirror will have to wait until the Putties take care of him and it's going to happen right now!
Jason and Jeremy are practicing their martial arts when the Putties arrive. Jason tells Jeremy to stay behind him as he prepares to battle the Putties. Jason battles the Putties. Jeremy battles a few as well. Eventually the Putties are defeated. Jason tells Jeremy good job. Jeremy is thrilled with his adventure. He had heard of Rita and the Putties, but he never thought he would actually see them. Jason hopes they don't see them again. Jason and Jeremy find a spot for fishing and they relax. Something tugs on Jeremy's line and he pulls it in. Jeremy has caught a bottle, which he thinks is weird. He wonders what is inside, it looks like a map. Jason encourages him to open it. Jeremy does and golden sparkles shoot out of the bottle and the ground begins to shake. Jeremy asks what is going on? Jason instructs Jeremy to get down. Once Jeremy is laying on the ground, Jason tells him to wait here and takes off. Jason finds a secluded spot and contacts Zordon.
Zordon tells Jason his senses are picking up something unusual in the morphing grid. Zordon instructs Jason to take Jeremy to a safe place.
Jason agrees and takes off towards Jeremy.
Zack, Kimberly, Trini, and Billy become alarm as the ground shakes and the Rad Bug has a hard time staying on the road. Kimberly is sure it's an earthquake. Zack instructs everyone to hold on.
Jason returns to where Jeremy has been waiting. Jeremy thinks the whole experience has been totally cool. What a way to start a vacation! Jeremy opens the map and tells Jason to check it out.
Rita has been watching Jeremy and Jason. She realizes the map leads to the Mirror of Destruction. Rita laughs. Rita is confident that once she gets her hands on it, they will suffer the same fate as all the others. Squatt adds it will zap them so hard, they won't know what hit them. Goldar and Scorpina have joined them. Goldar states we need that map. Rita instructs Scorpina to go get the map.
Scorpina, Baboo, and Squatt arrived at the beach house by the beach. They stay hidden in some bushes.
