Crystal Of Nightmares

Rita Repulsa asks Goldar, what's going on?  Goldar replies he's starting with the crystal of nightmares.  The Rangers will only dream of defeat and lose their self confidence forever.  Rita asks, why should I care about that?  Goldar replies, without their self confidence, their powers will be worthless.  Rita thinks it's a good plan. Goldar enters a cave where the crystal of nightmares was kept.  Goldar held his sword over the crystal of nightmares and declared I command you!  Soon the world will shutter after I destroy the Power Rangers once and for all!  Goldar lowered his sword until it touched the force field surrounding the crystal.  Electrical bolts came from the sword and surrounded the crystal. Goldar declares the world will know it is I who is supreme, after the Rangers' dreams turn into nightmares!  And their powers will be lost forever!  Goldar laughs. Goldar watches the sleeping Rangers for a moment.  Goldar states, pleasant dreams do-gooders!  Enjoy your last moments of happiness!  Goldar laughs again. Each teen has a nightmare. Watching Goldar excitedly shouts excellent and laughs some more. The nightmares continues for the teens.  Goldar gloats.  Dream on Power Rangers!  Dream on!  Goldar laughs until he spots Skull and Bulk in the crystal.  Bulk and Skull had snuck into the cabin to learn the answers to a test.  They had accidentally fallen asleep under one of the beds.  Eventually their nightmares mere into the same nightmare. In the nightmare, the teens are in the Command Center.  Zordon tells them it's become obvious you are no longer capable of performing your duties.  I have no choice but to strip you of your powers forever.  Jason, Billy, Zack, Kimberly, and Trini wake up and sit straight up in bed - very upset over the outcome of the nightmare. Goldar declares it's done!  The Power Rangers have lost their self confidence!  Now we can destroy the world!  Goldar laughs. The next morning, the teens are jittery and very scared.  When Jason's communicator goes off, they ignore it. After a few moments, Jason's communicator goes off again, making the teens very nervous.  Jason tells his friends, I know we're scared but we have to answer.  Jason reluctantly responds this is Jason, Zordon.  Zordon tells them he is aware of their terrible nightmares.  Billy tells Zordon they have lost all confidence in their abilities.  Zordon tells them, this was exactly Rita and Goldar's plan.  Without self confidence, your powers are completely useless.   Zack assumes this means they are through.  Zordon continues, fortunately Alpha has located the crystal of nightmares that Goldar used to manipulate your minds.  You must destroy it and it will release you from your fears.  Although very reluctant, the teens teleport out of the cabin.  They land a small distance away from the cave.  There are several Putties guarding the cave.  Billy, Kimberly, Trini, Zack, and Jason fight the Putties. They are not doing well against the Putties.  Jason manages to break free of the Putties and shouts out to his friends, that he's going for it.  Jason runs into the cave.  Jason stops in his tracks when he sees Goldar.  Both of them cautiously circle each other.  Goldar asks Jason, having some bad dreams Ranger?  Jason tells Goldar to come and get him.  Goldar replies with pleasure.  Goldar charges towards Jason with his sword.  Jason leaps out of the way at the last possible moment and Goldar crashes into the cave wall.  Goldar turns around and threatens Jason - your nightmare is about to become my reality.  Jason glances over at the crystal of nightmares.  Jason is close enough to it, that he gives it a flying kick and destroys the crystal.  Goldar screams no!  I'll get you yet Red Ranger!  Goldar vanishes.  With crystal of nightmares destroyed, Jason immediately feels his confidence returning and grins.  Zack, Kimberly, Billy, and Trini's self confidence returns as well.  They all hear Zordon's voice tell them, Power Rangers, you've destroyed the crystal of nightmares and broken Rita's spell.  You've regain your self confidence.  May the power protect you.
