MR. CAPLAN
Mr. Caplan - Henry Cannon
Angel Grove is hosting a motor rally race for charity. Mr. Caplan is in charge of the rally and walks around as everyone gets ready. There is a big group of participants, which include, Trini, Kimberly, Billy, Jason, Zack, Bulk, Skull, and Tommy. When it is time, Mr. Caplan starts the race.
After some time, the specters become excited as they spot the racers. Mr. Caplan announces, here they come ladies and gentlemen. They are entering the home stretch. The teens bring up the rear of the race. The crowd cheers them on as well as they cross the finish line.
Mr. Caplan was walking down one of the halls of Angel Grove High School. There were numerous kids in the hall and by their lockers. Kimberly, Jason, and Tommy turned around to greet Mr. Caplan. Billy and Zack were under a spell that made their friends appear as Putties. Thinking the "Putties" were going after Mr. Caplan they tried to attack the "Putties". Instead, Mr. Caplan gets knock to the ground. Mr. Caplan gets back up and hauls Billy and Zack to their feet. Kimberly, Jason, and Tommy are bewildered by their friends' actions. Mr. Caplan tells them he is surprised by their behavior but has no choice but to give them detention. Mr. Caplan hauls Billy and Zack away. The following day, Alpha 5 found the spell embedded in the protective glasses the guys were wearing. Alpha 5 soaked them in a special energy beam and it deactivated the spell. When Zack and Billy placed the glasses on, the spell was broken.
The Youth Center is hosting Angel Grove High School's club sign up. Zack gives a demonstration of his club while Mr. Caplan walks up with several papers. Mr. Caplan is confused as some of the booths are set up at the Youth Center, and some are at the auditorium, the paperwork is messed up. Later, a group of teens walk away from Kimberly's table just as Mr. Caplan walks up. Mr. Caplan tells Kimberly, well thank goodness, everyone figured out where to go. Mr. Caplan gives a embarrassed laugh and then admits he accidentally put the wrong location in the school paper. Kimberly tells him, it's okay. My friends didn't give until they found me. Mr. Caplan gives a big sneeze and walks away.
Bulk and Skull, as children (time had been reversed but no one was aware of this except Zordon and Alpha 5) run down the hall and run right into Mr. Caplan. Bulk and Skull excitedly tried to explain to Mr. Caplan that a gold baboon, a camera monster, and a little red Martian was chasing them. They also tried to show Mr. Caplan the photograph that the camera monster had captured Tommy and the rest in. Mr. Caplan did not believe them. He dragged them off to detention for lying. Mr. Caplan placed them in a classroom and told them they had to write an essay on the evils of lying. Mr. Caplan left them in the classroom and walked down the hall.
