Communicators

The teens were participating in a charity race when Jason's communicator goes off. Jason tells Alpha to hang on. I'll round up the others. They pull off the main track, get off their bikes and gather together. Jason states, we read you Zordon. Zordon tells them to teleport to the Command Center immediately. This is an emergency. Jason responds, we're on our way. The teens arrive in the Command Center and Alpha 5 is still in a panic. The teens are informed that Lord Zedd has taken over and had banished Rita to the outer reaches of the universe. Lord Zedd immediately sent down his own Putties, which the Rangers destroyed. Then Lord Zedd created his own monster and sent it to attack Angel Grove.

Pirantishead had frozen the Rangers' zords and placed Tyrannosaurus and Dragonzord under Lord Zedd's control. Tyrannosaurus and Dragonzord attacked the Rangers and Angel Grove. The Rangers retreated. Zordon had new zords ready for them, but they had to gain control of their old zords first. After looking over Alpha 5's analysis, Billy had an idea. By my calculations if we build a device that will interfere with Lord Zedd's signal, we should be able to release the zords. Jason comments, like reprogramming it. Billy agrees. I think I have all the available equipment back at my lab. Zordon tells Alpha 5 and Billy, good work. We have no time to lose. Lord Zedd and his monster must be stopped. Trini volunteers to go back to the lab with Billy. Maybe I can help. Billy thanks her. Trini and Billy teleport out. A few moments later, the viewing globe shows images of Pirantishead. This upsets Zack, Jason, Tommy, and Kimberly. Zack tells Zordon, we've got to do something. Zordon instructs Alpha 5 to contact Billy and Trini. Alpha 5 replies, right away Zordon. Once contact is made, Zordon asks them if they have finished making the device? Billy answers, we're still working on it. Trini adds, we're hoping to get it done soon. Alpha 5 tells them, hurry, we need it.

Lord Zedd created the monster Primator. Primator was capable of assuming anyone's identity. Primator assumed Zack's form and tricked Kimberly and Trini into going to the park to help Tommy. Trini and Kimberly arrive in the park. Initially they are puzzled, as they don't see Tommy or Zedd's Putties. Kimberly asks, alright, so where's Tommy? Trini replies, I don't know. Maybe the others found him. Trini uses her communicator to contact Jason. But she gets no response. The guys are at Billy's lab working. All of them are wearing ear protection and don't hear Jason's communicator going off. Zedd's Putties arrive. Kimberly and Trini battle and defeat Zedd's Putties. Later, Primator is destroyed by Thunder Megazord and Dragonzord.

The Rangers had been battling Turbanshell with Thunder Megazord and Dragonzord. The Rangers were defeated and ejected from their zords. Green Ranger was very weak and the rest of the Rangers were gathered around him, when Green Ranger vanished. The Rangers used their communicators to try and contact Zordon, but got no response.

Zack, Jason, Billy, Kimberly, and Trini are still trapped in Lord Zedd's energy shield. Because they no longer have their morphers, Lord Zedd decides to return them, so they can helplessly watch Angel Grove get destroyed. Jason, Billy, Kimberly, Trini, and Zack are returned to Angel Grove park. Jason tries to contact Zordon, but is unable to. Billy feels sure he can find a way to communicate with the Command Center and wants to go to his lab. The teens hurry to Billy's lab. Billy works frantically, trying to establish communications between the Rangers and the Command Center. Soon, Tommy teleports to Billy's lab and everyone is happy to see him. Alpha 5 appears on the computer screen. In the background, Zordon tells them the green crystal must be destroyed and only a non-ranger can do it. Tommy volunteers to go, stating he has some payback. Tommy teleports to the other world. Tommy destroys the green crystal and quickly teleports back to Billy's lab in triumph and the morphers are returned to the Rangers. Tommy tells them after touching the green crystal, he feels he has enough power for one more battle. The teens morph. The Rangers destroy Turbanshell with their Thunder Megazord.

Jason was feeling bad over Tommy losing his powers. His friends thought if he could see Tommy was okay, Jason would feel better. In Zack's car, they searched for Tommy's Uncle's Cabin. They eventually pulled off the road and looked at a map. They realized they were lost. Moments later Goldar appeared. Trini, Billy, Kimberly, and Zack morphed. Goldar teleported them to the Dimension of Doom. Goldar lit candles that drained them of their powers. Eventually Red Ranger arrive and, using their power coins, relit the candles and restore the four Rangers' their powers. They all escaped from the Dimension of Doom.

Several Putties and Goldar kidnapped Kimberly and took her to the Cave of Fantasy. Kimberly had been knocked out with some magic dust. Goldar removed her communicator and morpher and placed them in netting, tied high up in the ceiling. When Kimberly woke up, she quickly spotted her communicator and morpher, but was unable to retrieve them as Goldar, Baboo, and Squatt were there as well. Kimberly realized that Goldar thought the dust had worked, and Kimberly decided to act the part. Kimberly acted like Rita until Blue Ranger and Yellow Ranger arrived and rescued her and retrieved her communicator and morpher.

Zack goes after a football that has gone out of bounds. Zack picks up the football and notices some goo on the grass. Zack then notices the statue close by, that is covered in goo. Zack walks back to the game and tells Curtis that he is wiped out and to call it a day. Curtis agrees and the game breaks up. Zack walks over to Kimberly and Trini and tells them that he has something to show them. Zack takes Trini and Kimberly to the statue and both of them are concern. Zack tries to contact Zordon and Alpha 5, but gets no response. Kimberly, Trini, and Zack become more uneasy. Zack then attempts to contact Jason. At first there is no response, but then Jason replies back. Jason and Billy teleport to the statue. Billy is sure the statue is a Lord Zedd plot. Suddenly several of Zedd's Putties arrive. The teens battle and defeat the Putties. Jason tries to contact Zordon and gets no response. This makes the teens more uneasy and they decide to teleport to the Command Center to find out what is going on. The Command Center is dark, empty, and running on emergency power only. Later, the Rangers go into battle and eventually retreat from that battle. Kimberly, Trini, Jason, and Zack go to Billy's lab, while Billy goes to the Command Center.

Billy returns to his lab where his friends are waiting. Billy gives them a long version of what he had seen. Kimberly interrupts, telling Billy she doesn't mean any disrespect but could he cut to the chase. Billy tells them that Zordon and Alpha 5 are building a new Ranger. Kimberly, Trini, Jason, and Zack are taken aback at the news. Kimberly asks why Tommy couldn't have been use? Zack is angry and wants to know who is the new guy? Trini comments that they have been friends for so long. Billy tells them that Zordon knows what he is doing, reminds them that Lord Zedd's monsters are superior to those of Rita Repulsa's, and that they need a new Ranger. Soon Jason's communicator goes off and Zordon instructs the teens to teleport to the Command Center. At the Command Center, the new White Ranger is revealed to be Tommy.

Pink Ranger and White Ranger had been frozen in the park by Pursehead. Zordon contacted Zack, Jason, and Billy to let them what had happened. Soon Jason, Zack, Billy, and Trini were in the Command Center. They soon found out there was another monster attacking Angel Grove, Lipsyncher. Zordon wants Billy and Trini to come up with a device that would reverse the effects of frozen ray. Zack and Jason morph. Black Ranger is ready to battle Pursehead, while in a different location, Red Ranger is ready to battle Lipsyncher. Unfortunately, Black Ranger is quickly frozen as well. Soon Billy has the reverse ocular dilator ready. Billy and Trini morph. They teleport to the three frozen Rangers. Blue Ranger asks Yellow Ranger to distract Pursehead. Yellow Ranger battles Pursehead while Blue Ranger uses his reverse ocular dilator on the three Rangers. The device works and the Rangers are freed. The five Rangers surround Pursehead, ready to battle. Zordon contacts them. Red Ranger is in trouble. White Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers to go help Red Ranger, while he tackles Pursehead. Pink Ranger is reluctant to go, but White Ranger insists. Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Black Ranger teleport out to help Red Ranger. White Ranger battles Pursehead and eventually with Saba's help, destroys Pursehead. Meanwhile, Black Ranger, Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Yellow Ranger summon their zords and battle Lipsyncher. Red Dragon Thunderzord Warrior Mode recovers and joins in the battle until Lipsyncher is destroyed.

Angel Grove is hosting Stone Canyon's triathlon. Tommy, Kimberly, and Billy are there to support their friends, Aisha, Adam, and Rocky, who are participating in the triathlon. Meanwhile, Beamcaster is created by Lord Zedd and sent to Angel Grove. Beamcaster has the ability to place people under it's spell and willing to do Lord Zedd's bidding. Alpha 5 tries to contact Tommy, but because of the cheers and noise, Tommy's doesn't hear his communicator going off. Alpha 5 then contacts Jason, Zack, and Trini, who were scuba diving. The three morph and teleport to face down Beamcaster. Before the three Rangers could act, Beamcaster places them under Lord Zedd's spell. Fortunately the next time Alpha 5 tries to contact Tommy, he hears the communicator. Zordon informs them what has happened at the Command Center. Billy creates a device to break the spell. The three morph and teleport out. Quickly, White Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Pink Ranger face down Beamcaster and they are also quickly placed under Lord Zedd's spell. The device is trampled by the citizens when Adam, Rocky, and Aisha arrived. When Rocky picks up the mangled device, the citizens thinks they are Power Rangers. Alpha 5 quickly teleports the three teens to the Command Center. Aisha fixes the device and they, via the viewing globe and with Zordon's help, point it at the Rangers and help break them from the spell. Soon the Rangers are facing Beamcaster once again and this time destroy Beamcaster with their Power Blaster.

Scatterbrain fired it's ray and now Billy, Tommy, and Kimberly have lost their memories. Rocky, Aisha, and Adam have come up with a plan to restore their memories. Aisha and Rocky take Tommy, Kimberly, and Billy to the outskirts of town, as a way to keep Scatterbrain away from the city. Billy and Adam teleport to Billy's lab. Billy is blown away by the lab and asks Adam if it is his? Adam tells him no, it's his. Adam asks Billy where he would keep his prisms, but Billy has no idea. Billy and Adam search the lab. Eventually they find the prisms in a case. Adam takes one and tells Billy to take one as well. Billy and Adam teleport to the fields outside of town. Scatterbrain hits them as well and now they have no memories. Bulk and Skull faced down Scatterbrain, although they end up losing their recent memories, thanks to them, the Rangers' memories are restored. A battle follows and eventually Scatterbrain is destroyed by Thunder Megazord.

The Rangers were on the Harvey Garvey to promote the importance of education. The Rangers sit down and Harvey begins the interview. Harvey talks to the Rangers about education. The Rangers explain how learning how to use your brain helped them numerous times. The Rangers give their battle against Pudgy Pig as an example. Yellow Ranger and Red Ranger convince Harvey to come up front and they show him some moves. Harvey tries to copy them and falls on his back. The audience laughs. Harvey asks White Ranger what had happened to Green Ranger? Alpha 5 contacts the Rangers via White Ranger's communicator and the Rangers tell Harvey they have to go. The Rangers tell everyone to stay in school and then teleport out. Later, the Rangers battle and destroy Showbiz with their Thunder Megazord.

Aisha is making a fire safety presentation in Miss Appleby's class. Aisha is demonstrating the danger of putting in too many plugs into an outlet. Aisha uses the example of the many products used to style her hair as an example. Kimberly asks her a question about styling her hair and the girls go off topic. Miss Appleby points this out. Bulk and Skull enter the class late, with a small Dalmatian puppy. Bulk and Skull are now in the Wanna-Be Fire Fighters club and they are ready to make a presentation, despite Miss Appleby's protests. Aisha tells Miss Appleby it's okay. Bulk wants to present a slide show of his family bar-be-que and what fire fighters across the country referred to as the big one. Skull has trouble getting the screen up. Despite warnings from Aisha and Billy, Bulk puts in another plug into the outlet. Sparks begin to fly, and soon there is a small electrical fire. The class immediately gets out of their chairs and backs up. Aisha springs into action, unplugging the plugs and using the fire extinguisher. Once the fire is out, Miss Appleby calls the students back to their seats. Bulk tries to pretend this was part of his presentation, but Aisha sets the record straight by telling the class it was a good example of what not to do. Miss Appleby praises Aisha and the class applauds. Aisha is thrilled.

Aisha, Adam, and Billy were in the park, tossing a Frisbee around. Aisha: "Alright Billy, over here!" Billy: "Adam!" Suddenly a small space craft flew right over their heads. They all ducked down. Aisha: "Whoa, nearly gave me a haircut!" The three teens watched as the space craft continued on it's way. Soon, the space craft heads back towards Adam, Billy, and Aisha. They duck down once more. The space craft crashes into a tree. The three teens walk towards it. Billy is thrilled to see a space craft. Adam touches the space craft and winces, as it is still hot. Aisha takes a peek inside and thinks she sees a doll inside. Billy thinks it's more likely the person is hibernating to travel a long distance. The space craft is powered by a diamond, which Aisha thinks is beautiful. Billy contacts Zordon to let him know about the space craft. Zordon tells Billy that explains why Serpentera is circling Angel Grove. Zordon instructs Billy to bring the space craft to the Command Center. Zordon tells them that Lord Zedd wants the diamond to super power his Serpentera. They need to bring the space craft to the Command Center. At the Command Center, they discovered the alien Bookala inside the space craft. Lord Zedd is after the diamond that powers the space craft. The teens come up with a plan to trick Lord Zedd into taking a fake diamond, which works. The teens say a fond farewell to Bookala and he travels back to his planet safely.
