Best Man For The Job - Page Two

Squatt is thrilled - we did it!  Rita will be happy.  Baboo and Squatt high five each other.  Tommy gets up and blames Kimberly for getting in the way and making him fall.  Kimberly slaps his offered hand away and gets up.  Kimberly accuses Tommy of pushing her out of the way.  Tommy and Kimberly get into each other's faces.  Tommy tells her she can't take a little competition.  Kimberly laughs and replies you're the one who can't take it.  That's why I'm going to beat you so badly in the elections.  Tommy and Kimberly storm off in different directions.

Goldar reports to Lord Zedd that Rita has come up with a plan of her own.  Lord Zedd instructs Goldar to keep an eye on her while he goes and finishes his own plan.

The next day, Tommy is defacing one of Kimberly's campaign posters.  Billy walks up to Tommy with posters.  He notices Kimberly's poster and wonders who did that?  Tommy claims he doesn't know and then puts his own poster over Kimberly's.  Aisha and Kimberly walk up.  Kimberly greets them by calling them losers.  So you still think you're going to beat me?  Kimberly laughs.  Tommy tells her to laugh it up.  He's going to win.  I'll prove it to you.  A student walks pass and Tommy immediately stops him and asks you're going to vote for me for school president, right?  Kimberly walks up too and gives him one of her flyers and tells the student he's going to vote for her.  The student manages to get away.  Tommy tells Billy let's fix some more posters.  Tommy deliberately walks between Aisha and Kimberly.  Billy asks him to wait, but Tommy keeps going.  Billy and Aisha exchange concerned looks and Billy asks her, what is going on?  Aisha has no answers and Billy walks away.  As Kimberly makes adjustments to Tommy's poster, Aisha asks her what is going on?  Why are you so competitive?  Aisha notices the changes to Tommy's poster and comments that's really mean.  Kimberly replies, he started it okay.  Now I'm going to finish him no matter what.  Kimberly walks away, telling Aisha to come along.  Aisha reluctantly follows Kimberly.  At the top of the stairs, Skull makes an announcement.  Ladies and Gentlemen, here is the next president of Angel Grove High, Bulk.  Bulk slides down the banister.  Bulk promises that if he is elected, he will reveal to them, the true identities of the Power Rangers.  Rocky and Adam are in the crowds, and they become a little concern with this announcement.  Skull quickly walks up to Bulk and reminds him they don't know who the Power Rangers are yet.  Bulk knows that, but they don't know that we don't know.

Rita Repulsa is standing on the balcony.  Baboo and Squatt are with her.  Rita exclaims, this is my chance!  Tommy will walk right into my trap!  Rita laughs.  Rita places a folded piece of paper with Tommy's name on it, on a small pedestal.  Baboo tells Rita it's an excellent plan.  Rita places her wand against the note and it soon vanishes.  Rita exclaims this is going to be good!  Baboo and Squatt cheer. 

The note appears on Tommy's locker.  Tommy and Billy are walking towards the lockers.  Billy tells Tommy he's ahead by 15%, but warned him that his mud slinging campaign could easily turn voters against him.  Tommy doesn't care.  He tells Billy he wants to beat her by 50%.  Tommy notices the note and takes it down to read it.  Billy doesn't understand.  He tells Tommy, this isn't like you.  Tommy reads the note and chuckles.  Tommy tells Billy it's because he wants to win.  Tommy gives the note to Billy and takes off.  Billy reads the note.  It states, Tommy, come to the park alone.  I have information that will help you destroy Kimberly.  Billy becomes alarmed and takes off.

Tommy walks through the park.  He is unaware that several Putties are behind him.  Tommy hears something and turns around and sees the Putties.  Goldar is there as well.  Goldar gloats that Tommy has fallen into their trap.  Goldar tells Tommy, alone you have no chance.  Tommy quickly morphs.  White Ranger states he doesn't need any help.  White Ranger battles the Putties and Goldar.  At one point, Goldar knocks White Ranger down.  Goldar laughs and tells him he doesn't look so good.  Maybe it's time for retirement.  White Ranger declares he's going to retire him and use his helmet as a hubcap.  Goldar commands the Putties to finish him once and for all.

Kimberly is at her locker, looking over some papers when Aisha, Billy, Adam, and Rocky walk up.
