Miss Appleby gives the class an assignment on writing a 500 word essay on something they are interested in by Friday.  At first Skull is freaked out, but Bulk tells him that they will write about the secret identities of the Power Rangers.  A few moments later, Tommy is so deep in thought he doesn't hear Kimberly at first.  When Kimberly finally gets his attention, Tommy tells her about the dream he keeps having about losing his powers.  Tommy feels like the dreams are trying to tell him that he is going to lose his powers for good.  Kimberly doesn't know what to say to make Tommy feel better.

Lord Zedd has been watching and listening to Tommy.  Lord Zedd comments, are those dreams wearing you down Tommy?  When I get hold of the Sword of Power, your dream will become a real nightmare and my dream a reality.  Goldar laughs along with Lord Zedd.

Goldar tells Lord Zedd, the Green Ranger is weaken.  Lord Zedd wants to crush Green Ranger like a green weed.  Before I destroy him, I want the Sword of Power.  It can only be called forth when all the Rangers are united together.  Goldar asks, how can we take the Sword of Power when they are all together?  Lord Zedd replies, separate them.  One at a time.  Tommy first.  To the dark dimension.  I'm sure we can persuade him to bring us the Sword of Power.  When he does, I Lord Zedd, will destroy the Power Rangers forever!  Lord Zedd laughs.

After school, at the Juice Bar, Billy shows Trini his latest invention.  Tommy, Kimberly, Jason, and Zack join them.  Bulk and Skull walk in with their latest invention - a way to detect who is a Power Ranger.  Bulk and Skull get a strong reading and Billy uses his invention to divert the reading on Bulk and Skull's invention.  Bulk and Skull's invention takes them to Ernie who does a karate stance before laughing, along with everyone else.
