SLIPPERY SHARK
Slippery Shark - Voiced by Steve Kramer
Trumpet Top had the power to create illusions. In order to wear out the Rangers, Trumpet Top created illusions of past monsters. Slippery Shark was one of the illusions created, along with Fighting Flea, Saliguana, Soccadillo, Grumble Bee, Stag Beetle, and Rhinoblaster. The first illusion to appear was Grumble Bee. The Power Rangers face down Grumble Bee. Soon, Fighting Flea and Saliguana appear. The three monsters face down the Rangers. The Rangers fight Fighting Flea, Saliguana, and Grumble Bee. Soccadillo quickly joins the fight. The Rangers break apart to fight the various "monsters". Yellow Ranger and Pink Ranger fight Slippery Shark, Soccadillo, and Stag Beetle. Red Ranger defeats Fighting Flea. But Slippery Shark, Stag Beetle, and Soccadillo are eager to fight him. Red Ranger fights the three monsters. Despite their best efforts, Red Ranger, Black Ranger, and Blue Ranger soon find themselves surrounded by Slippery Shark, Praying Mantis, Fighting Flea, and Soccadillo. Soon Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger join the guys. The Rangers are surrounded by Slippery Shark, Rhinoblaster, Fighting Flea, Grumble Bee, Stag Beetle, Soccadillo, and Saliguana. The Rangers break through the circle and fight Slippery Shark and the rest of the "monsters". Within a few moments, Alpha 5 teleports the Rangers away. At the Command Center, the Rangers are informed that they have been fighting illusions. Later, Trumpet Top is destroyed by Thunder Megazord.
At his palace, Lord Zedd has heard Rocky's conversation with Dougie. Dougie was convinced there were monsters in Angel Grove Lake. Rocky had told Dougie there were no monsters in the lake. Lord Zedd has decided since Rocky has never encounter any underwater monsters, he would remedy the situation. Lord Zedd plans to bring back all the best of his underwater monsters. Lord Zedd is confident the Power Rangers cannot defeat them all at the same time. Goldar informed Lord Zedd that three of the Rangers were scuba diving. The time to strike is now. They will not be able to hear the alert when Zordon tries to contact them. Lord Zedd wants to attack the three Rangers on the surface and they will deal with the remaining Rangers when they return to the surface. Lord Zedd uses his staff to bring back Slippery Shark. Slippery Shark appears in Angel Grove. Slippery Shark senses water and starts making his way through the woods and towards Angel Grove Lake. Slippery Shark is ready for destruction. Slippery Shark quickly arrives at Angel Grove Lake. Soon, Blue Ranger, Red Ranger, and Yellow Ranger land on top of a lookout post. Red Ranger points out Slippery Shark below them. Slippery Shark is eager to see them. Red Ranger tells him he picked the wrong beach to pollute. Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Blue Ranger leap off the outpost and start battling Slippery Shark. Blue Ranger lands a kick to Slippery Shark. Slippery Shark flips him onto his back. Soon Red Ranger and Yellow Ranger are tossed to the side. Yellow Ranger and Blue Ranger makes sure Red Ranger is okay. Red Ranger tells them this monster is tougher than he thought. Slippery Shark taunts them by asking them if they are giving up already?
