Billy got up and went to talk to Laura. Adam's and Rocky's table was close to where Bulk and Skull were sitting. Bulk: "This whole dance thing is pathetic." Skull: "Yeah, who needs it?" Two punk girls entered the Youth Center. Blonde Punk Girl: "Yoo Hoo!" Bulk and Skull heard them and they were suddenly very nervous. Bulk: "Oh, let's go. We got to get out of here or we're toast man." Blonde Punk Girl: "Bulkins!" Brunette Punk Girl: "Skullsapoo!" Rocky: "Hey, what's wrong Bulk?" Bulk: "They want to ask us to the dance." Bulk and Skull took off and the two punk girls followed them. Billy rejoined their table. Laura had asked Billy to the dance. This did not make Adam feel good. It looked like he was the only one not going to the dance. Adam got up and walked out. The following day, Adam was at his locker, at school, when Aisha walked up to him. Aisha wanted to know if he was going to the dance. Adam told her no. He thought he would stay home and read. Aisha remarked not if she had something to do with it. Aisha told Adam that Sarah Diaz thought he was cute. Adam didn't believe it at first. Aisha told Adam if he went to Sarah's volleyball practice, she would probably ask him out. Adam decided to give it a try. Adam and Aisha went to their classes. After school, Adam walked up to where the volleyball practice. It was over and Adam spotted Sarah sitting.
