After school, Zack, Billy, Bulk and Skull sit in detention. Miss Appleby is grading papers and keeping an eye on the four students. Skull's recording device sits on top of her desk. Zack whispers to Billy, what's going on here? Those Putties in the classroom couldn't have been real. Billy doesn't know and concludes Lord Zedd must have put a spell on them. But how? Bulk asks them, hey, what's with the shades? Bulk grabs Billy's shades as Skull grabs Zack's. Bulk asks, plan on being someone famous? Bulk and Skull try on the glasses. Bulk and Skull are now under it's spell and when they turn around to talk to Zack and Billy, they see Putties instead. Bulk and Skull take off the glasses and toss them back to Zack and Billy. Bulk and Skull scream, and run from the classroom. Miss Appleby tries to get them back in the classroom without any luck. After detention, Zack and Billy go for a walk in the park. Zack tells Billy, we got to figure this thing out. Billy states, it seems like the spell makes our fellow Rangers appear as Putties. Two Putties block Zack and Billy's path. Two more Putties are standing on the playground equipment. Zack asks Billy, if you're right, these guys....are our friends? Billy replies, and if that's so, we should be able to communicate with them. Zack says hello to the pair of Putties on the playground equipment. When he gets no response, he turns around to talk to Billy, unaware that one of the Putties is coming down the slide towards him. The Putty pushes Zack and he hits the ground. Zack states, they are not our friends. I just got the message. Billy knocks down the Putty that had pushed Zack. Soon four more "Putties" arrive. Zack and Billy have no idea what to do as they watch the Putties fight each other. Billy comments, everyone is a Putty. The "Putties" continue to fight the other Putties. Zack and Billy run in and fight the Putties. Zack tells the Putties, you blew it clay heads! Billy adds, the Rangers would never attack us. One by one Zedd's Putties are being destroyed. Zack spots two "Putties" fighting each other. Zack calls out, leave my friend alone! The "Putty" waves at Zack. Zack spins his way towards a "Putty". The "Putty" tries to protect it's face and yells Zack, it's me, Trini! Zack stops just in time. Zack backs away and Billy joins him. Billy states, I believe Zedd somehow is making us see you as Putties. Zack adds, I can't take it. It's like I got Putty on the brain. Tommy states, bad news man. Kimberly is not happy. Oh please. You mean I look like a Putty. Zack apologizes. Jason suggests they go back to the Command Center. Zack and Billy teleport with the "Putties". At the Command Center, Jason asks, do we still look like Putties to you guys? Billy replies affirmative. Zack agrees. Zordon tells them, apparently Lord Zedd's strategy is to try and upset the balance of your team. If he can keep you guessing about who's a friend and who's an enemy it will leave him free to release his latest monster on Angel Grove. The Saliguana. The teens look at the viewing globe where images of Saliguana are being displayed. Zack notes, man that is one hot headed lizard. Zordon informs them that Lord Zedd has combined an iguana with the mystical salamander. A creature capable of living in and breathing fire. Billy notes, well if we're going to defeat it we'll have to make a device that will cool it down. Zordon tells Zack and Billy, that will be your task. Alpha 5 adds, and while you're doing that, I will try and find a way to reverse Zedd's spell. Billy hopes Alpha can do it. At his lab, Billy notes that while a salamander may breath fire, an iguana is cold blooded. So something cold should prevent the monster from using it's fire power. Zack notes an ice device. Billy adds, now if only Alpha could come up with a cure for our vision. Billy's communicator goes off. Alpha 5 informs them that he is sending Trini down to try an experiment. Billy replies, anything's worth a try Alpha. Trini teleports to Billy's lab. Trini hopes this works. She tells Zack and Billy to get ready as she morphs. Yellow Ranger asks, how do I look? With a big smile, Zack replies, you look like the Yellow Ranger. Billy agrees. Yellow Ranger contacts Jason. Good news. As long as we're morphed, Zedd's spell doesn't work. Jason replies, great. So if we have to go into battle, Zack and Billy will be seeing straight. Thanks Trini. A few moments later, Jason contacts Billy. Billy promptly responds yes Jason. Jason tells Billy, we're under attack. Let's go! Billy protests. But my ice device. I haven't tested it yet! Jason replies, we'll have to go with it as is. Yellow Ranger tells Billy, throw an extra computer chip in your pocket and let's go! Yellow Ranger teleports out. Zack grabs the ice device and Billy grabs the computer chip. Zack and Billy morph and teleport out. Black Ranger, Blue Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Red Ranger arrive and immediately begin fighting Zedd's Putties. Soon, Zedd's Putties are defeated. Saliguana states, you're good with Putties, now try me! Black Ranger and Blue Ranger leap through the air and land kicks on Saliguana. Saliguana hits the ground but quickly gets back up. Black Ranger fights Saliguana. He lands several punches and kicks against Saliguana. Saliguana hits the ground once more but gets back up. Saliguana tells Black Ranger, you're going to pay for that. Blue Ranger calls out a warning. He can turn up the heat and bar-b-que you at any time he wants. Black Ranger isn't worried. This guy's nothing. Saliguana is offended. Nothing?! I'll show you nothing! Here's a very hot something! Saliguana shoots flames from his mouth towards Black Ranger and Blue Ranger. The two Rangers roll out of the way. Black Ranger notes, we got him spitting mad. I think it's time to break out the extinguisher! This should cool you down. Black Ranger aims the ice device at Saliguana. Saliguana isn't worried. Toasted Ranger anyone? Saliguana shoots out his flames once more. Black Ranger fires the device, but nothing happens. Black Ranger asks, what's wrong? Blue Ranger doesn't know. The two Rangers are knocked off their feet. Saliguana charges towards them. Blue Ranger tells Black Ranger, try to figure out what's wrong. I'll distract him! Blue Ranger fights Saliguana. Saliguana strikes Blue Ranger on the helmet and knocks him to the ground. Saliguana gloats, now I've got you. Black Ranger leaps in and knocks Saliguana away. Blue Ranger suddenly realizes he knows what's wrong with the ice device. We designed it with a back flow inhibitor in mind. Blue Ranger takes the device from Black Ranger. The extra computer chip Trini told us to bring should fit right here. It's essential for this device to work. Blue Ranger places the computer chip into the ice device and states, there that should do it. Saliguana states, you two are history! Blue Ranger is confident the ice device will work now. Black Ranger takes the device and aims it Saliguana. Saliguana blows flames at the two Rangers. Black Ranger fires the ice device, shouting, take that lizard breath! The ice device works and Saliguana's flames are extinguished. Saliguana is angry. You'll pay for that! Red Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Yellow Ranger race over and join Black Ranger and Blue Ranger. Red Ranger asks if they are okay? Black Ranger replies, Billy got hit in the head, but I think he's alright. Blue Ranger adds, yeah, I'm fine. Saliguana is really mad and charges towards the five Rangers. The Rangers form their Power Blaster. Saliguana is hit hard. A few moments later, Saliguana catches Zedd's grow bomb and grows to giant size. Red Ranger notes, it looks like Lord Zedd has upped the stakes. Saliguana gloats, now your precious Angel Grove will be history. The Rangers summon their thunderzords. Red Dragon Thunderzord goes into warrior mode. Saliguana has the ability to breath fire once more and shoots flames at Red Dragon Thunderzord. Red Dragon Thunderzord is hit hard. Saliguana doesn't under why Red Dragon Thunderzord is still standing. In the sky, the rest of the Thunderzords arrive. As they fly, they form the assault team. Red Dragon Thunderzord leaps up and rides on top of the assault team. Saliguana shoots more flames at them. The assault team manages to outmaneuver the flames. Saliguana gets very angry. Thunder Megazord is formed. Saliguana has the ability to stretch out it's tongue and it did so. Wrapping it's tongue around Thunder Megazord. Saliguana laughed as Thunder Megazord struggle to break free. Thunder Megazord pulls out it's sword and slices it through Saliguana's tongue. Saliguana falls to the ground, but quickly gets back up. Thunder Megazord powers up it's sword. Saliguana asks, you think your puny sword will get me?! Think again Power Brats! Thunder Megazord strikes Saliguana with it's sword and destroys it. The following day, the iguana has returned to normal and is teleported to Miss Appleby's classroom. Zack and Billy sit anxiously in the classroom. Billy states, well our physics demonstration is next. I wish the rest of the guys would get back with our glasses, class is about to begin. Jason, Kimberly, and Tommy enter the classroom and head over to Zack and Billy. Both Zack and Billy still see their friends as Putties. Zack tells Billy, I guess it's true, you can't always go by appearance. Trini is already there. Sitting at the desk in front of Billy. Jason hands them their glasses. He whispers, Alpha discovered Zedd's spell embedded in the glasses. So he soaked them in a special energy beam. It should deactivate. Reluctantly Zack and Billy try on the glasses. Jason asks, did it work? Very happily Zack and Billy replied yeah! They give each other high fives. Bulk notes the commotion and asks Skull, what do you think they're so happy about? Skull shakes his head, he has no idea. Skull suddenly notices the iguana is climbing up his leg. He gets very excited and points at it as he yells, iguana! Bulk is also very excited to see the iguana and takes it from Skull's leg. Bulk gets an idea. This iguana was near the Power Rangers. If they're in the school, it will sniff them out. Skull agrees. Bulk sets the iguana on the floor of the classroom to sniff out the Power Rangers. Billy asks his friends, what are Bulk and Skull doing with Miss Appleby's iguana? Kimberly replies, I think...they're letting it go. The other students become terrified when they see the iguana on the loose. They jump out of their chairs and run from it. Bulk and Skull laugh. Miss Appleby is not amused. Bulk! Skull! Put the iguana away boys! Bulk picks up the iguana, places it on his shoulder, and walks towards the front of the classroom, followed by Skull. Skull comments, now we'll never know if the Power Rangers were in here or not. Zack, Billy, Trini, Jason, Kimberly, and Tommy laugh.

A big crowd from Angel Grove High School is at the Youth Center. Several students have booths set up for various clubs. Zack has a booth set up, Billy has a booth set up, as does Bulk and Skull. Trini's booth is the run away hit as a mob gathers around to sign up for her volleyball club. No one shows an interest in Kimberly's plant club. Zack gives a demonstration of his club while Mr. Caplan walks up with several papers. Mr. Caplan is confused as some of the booths are set up at the Youth Center, and some are at the auditorium, yet the paperwork is mess up. After awhile, Kimberly walks over to Trini's booth and chews her out for hogging all the students. Trini tells Kimberly that is not her fault, and Zack and Billy, who have walked over, are puzzled over Kimberly's behavior. Not satisfied for telling off Trini, Kimberly then gives Bulk & Skull a hard time - not believing people would actually sign up for their club. Skull reveals that they had offer free lunch as well as trying to find the identities of the Power Rangers. Tommy and Jason, sitting close by, are puzzled by Kimberly's behavior as well. Kimberly walks away and Ernie tells Tommy that maybe he should give her a flower to make her feel better. Tommy and Jason walk over to Kimberly and Tommy tries to give Kimberly the flower, telling her it's rough when you fight with your best friend. Kimberly doesn't accept the flower and gets mad at Tommy as well. She tells Tommy she hates flowers and Trini is not her friend! Kimberly storms out. Soon Trini leaves for her volleyball club. After some time, Tommy and Jason leave as well. Zack and Billy stay at the Youth Center. After awhile, their communicators go off. Zack and Billy find a quiet area in the Youth Center. Billy responds, yeah, we're here. Alpha 5 tells them they must join the others at the city side of the park immediately. Zack responds, we're on it Alpha! Zack and Billy morph and teleport out. Black Ranger and Blue Ranger arrive at the same time as the rest of the Rangers arrive at the park. Bloom of Doom is surprised to see them all together. Green Ranger remarks, yeah, well we're a team. And together, we're going to destroy you. Bloom of Doom replies, we'll see about that. Several of Zedd's Putties appear by Bloom of Doom's side. Bloom of Doom adds, I have some friends too, you know. The Putties charge towards the Rangers. Bloom of Doom laughs. Pink Ranger fights a group of Putties. Black Ranger fights another batch of Putties and quickly destroys two of them. Blue Ranger fights another set of Putties. Blue Ranger kicks several of them. Red Ranger fights a Putty and destroys it. Black Ranger tosses a Putty into a tree. Green Ranger fights a batch of Putties. He kicks several at a time and trips over another one. Pink Ranger lands several powerful kick on a Putty and it quickly is destroyed. Green Ranger tosses a Putty through the air. Red Ranger fights another Putty. Eventually the Putties are destroyed and the Rangers face down Bloom of Doom. Bloom of Doom releases it's pollen. Black Ranger, Blue Ranger, Red Ranger, and Green Ranger leap out of it's way but it's not enough to escape the pollen. Yellow Ranger asks, what's happening? Red Ranger screams, what is it? It burns! Blue Ranger feels like he's going to bust. Black Ranger shouts, it feels like fire! We've got to stop it somehow! Green Ranger tries to shake off the pollen but he can't, instead it's making him weaker. Yellow Ranger shouts at Bloom of Doom to leave her friends alone! Pink Ranger comments, forget it Trini. I have just the thing to put the wraps on this weed. Pink Ranger pulls out the weapon Alpha had sent her. Pink Ranger gets the weapon to wrap around Bloom of Doom. Bloom of Doom struggles to break free. Yellow Ranger shouts, way to go Kim! Yellow Ranger leaps into the air with her Blade Blaster and strikes Bloom of Doom. Instead of helping, it frees Bloom of Doom. Yellow Ranger tries to strike Bloom of Doom again with her Blade Blaster, but it vanishes. Yellow Ranger is puzzled. What happened? Where did she go? Pink Ranger shouts, Trini, I almost had him! You spoil everything. Pink Ranger leaps through the air with the weapon when Bloom of Doom reappears. Once more she gets the weapon to wrap around Bloom of Doom. Bloom of Doom yanks on the ribbon, pulling Pink Ranger towards her. Pink Ranger lands hard on the walkway. Bloom of Doom asks, how does it feel to be consume with jealousy? Look at me! Gaze deep into my eye! Bloom of Doom laughs as Pink Ranger panics. Wait! What's happening?! I can't think straight. Pink Ranger is teleported to another dimension. Green Ranger screams Kimberly! Green Ranger can't believe they all disappeared. Yellow Ranger states, we got to smash that Bloom of Doom. Black Ranger asks, how can we fight something we can't find? Red Ranger doesn't know and suggests they get back to the Command Center. Zack, Trini, Jason, Tommy, and Billy arrive in the Command Center. Jason asks, what has Zedd done with Kimberly? Zordon replies, Zedd has cast an evil spell and poisoned her with jealousy. He is trying to pit you against each other Rangers. Trini responds, so that's it! Zordon we can't let him do that. We got to help her. Zack asks, where's she now? Zordon replies, in an inter dimensional warp. It will be nearly impossible to penetrate and free her. Tommy responds, we just can't leave her there. Zordon informs them, Alpha is working on a solution. After awhile, Billy walks towards Alpha and asks to look at the calculations. He has an idea. After taking a look, Billy comments, just as I thought. Billy presses a few buttons on the console. Billy tells the others, even though Kimberly is in another dimension, she's still reachable. Trini asks, can you locate her? Billy replies yeah. If you throw your daggers at a 90 degree trajectory course, you'll be able to penetrate the dimension and also break the spell of jealousy. Zordon confirms this information. It is possible. But you must hurry Trini, if she stays in the dimensional warp too long, Kimberly will be lost forever. Tommy wishes Trini good luck. Trini tells the guys, I'm morphin back into action. Trini teleports out of the Command Center. The plan works and Pink Ranger is freed. Bloom of Doom is also knocked out of the dimension. Black Ranger, Blue Ranger, Red Ranger, and Green Ranger arrive. Bloom of Doom states, maybe you power punks need more pollen? Pink Ranger tells the team, let's not give her the chance. The Rangers assemble the Power Blaster and fire it at Bloom of Doom. Bloom of Doom is hit hard and destroyed. After the battle, Zack and his friends return to the Youth Center. Zack, Trini, Billy, Tommy, and Jason walk over to Kimberly's table. Kimberly asks Trini, will you ever forgive me for being such a brat? Trini replies, of course I will. Our friendship is solid as a rock. Trini and Kimberly hug as Tommy adds, it will take a lot more than Zedd to break up this group. Bulk and Skull enter and Bulk shouts, listen up! We will now expose the Power Rangers' true identities! A crowd gathers. Bulk tells Skull to turn on the tape player. Zack gets nervous. You think you found out who they are? Bulk replies, we'll just play this tape and see if we recognize the voices. Skull tries to play the tape but only strange sounds come out. Skull pulls out the mess inside the recorder and declares, faulty tape. Bulk asks Skull, can't you do anything right? The crowd walks away. Bulk tells the Zack and his friends, okay it was a dead end this time, but let me tell you, next time we will catch them in action. Indiana Bulk and Army Scout Skull will never give up till they find the truth. Bulk and Skull dramatically walk away. The teens chuckle and Trini states, good luck Bulk. Jason adds, looks like they are going to need all the help they can get.

Zack and Jason were at the Youth Center, working out. Billy and Trini were sitting at a table together and Billy was showing her his latest invention. Kimberly and Tommy join Billy and Trini. Bulk and Skull walk in with their latest invention - a way to detect who is a Power Ranger. Concerned, Zack and Jason walk over to their friends' table. Bulk and Skull get a strong reading and Billy uses his invention to divert the reading on Bulk and Skull's invention. Bulk and Skull's invention takes them to Ernie who does a karate stance before laughing, along with everyone else. Tommy realizes that he has to get started on his homework and leaves. Later, Zack, Billy, Kimberly, Trini, and Jason are getting ready to leave the Youth Center when Jason's communicator goes off. Zack and his friends find a quiet spot and Jason tells Zordon, we read you. Zordon informs them that Lord Zedd has created a new powerful monster called Robogoat. Prepare to teleport to the Command Center for a briefing. Tommy joins the teens and asks, what's up. Zack tells him, hey man, you're just in time. Zedd's at it again. Jason informs Zordon that they're teleporting. Zack and his friends teleport out of the Youth Center. Zack and his friends arrive at the Command Center. Trini points to the viewing globe, where images of Robogoat are displayed. Kimberly asks, what is that thing? Zordon replies, his name is Robogoat. And he draws his various strengths from mystical and mechanical sources. You must stop him before he reaches Angel Grove. With a smirk that no one else sees, Tommy takes a closer look at the viewing globe. Tommy states, count me in. Kimberly protests. No way. Tommy you have to conserve your powers. Jason adds, we may need to rely on you for a bigger battle later on. Assuming a look of concern, Tommy turns around and faces his friends. He tells them, wait a minute. Zordon, what if we summon the Sword of Power? Maybe that would give me an extra boost of power that would sustain me through the fight. Billy agrees, this might work. Zordon agrees as well. It's worth a try Rangers. Zack and his friends form a circle and place their hands in the center as they summon the Sword of Power. The sword appears in Tommy's hands. Tommy waves it around. Kimberly screams and clutches Zack's wrist. Tommy gives an evil laugh as he tells them their days as Power Rangers are numbered. Tommy vanishes. Zack doesn't believe it. Kimberly can't believe this is happening again. Jason is furious, but doesn't say a word. After awhile, Zordon asks Alpha if he has a lock on Tommy yet? Alpha 5 replies, yes! I found him outside the mountains. Zordon informs the teens, Tommy is out of Lord Zedd's trance but his powers are fading. Zack, Billy, Kimberly, Trini, Jason, and Alpha look at the viewing globe, which is showing images of Green Ranger. Zordon continues, he needs your help Rangers. Zack, Billy, Kimberly, Jason, and Trini morph and teleport out. Black Ranger, Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Red Ranger arrive and face Robogoat, who welcomes them. Red Ranger notes, Robogoat has got the sword. Robogoat tells the Rangers they are finished. Let the games begin! Robogoat holds the Sword of Power high up. Electric currents travel up the sword and then shoot out at the Rangers. Red Ranger calls out a warning - brace yourself! The Rangers are hit and knocked off their feet. The Rangers struggle to get back up. Red Ranger tells them to get into attack positions. Robogoat suggests they do this one at a time. You first Red Ranger and the rest of you can wait down below! Robogoat laughs as he slams the Sword of Power into the ground. The ground shakes and Black Ranger, Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Yellow Ranger struggle to stay standing up. The ground below them cracks open and the four Rangers fall into the opening. Red Ranger fights Robogoat. Eventually, the four Rangers are released inside energy bubbles. The energy bubbles fly from Robogoat and hover over the ground before turning into the Rangers and dropping onto the ground. Yellow Ranger exclaims, finally! I guess Jason got us out of those energy bubbles. Red Rangers races over to the four Rangers. He tells them to regroup. We've got to ram this goat and find Tommy! Red Ranger holds the Power Sword high as they face down Robogoat. Lord Zedd throws his grow bomb down to Angel Grove. Robogoat grows to giant size and laughs at the Rangers. The Rangers summon their Thunder zords. The Thunder zords arrive and Thunder Megazord is quickly formed. Robogoat gloats, you're still no match for Robogoat! Robogoat charges towards Thunder Megazord with it's staff. Thunder Megazord fights Robogoat and his staff. Thunder Megazord lands a hard punch on Robogoat. Robogoat is knocked several feet back. Thunder Megazord draws out it's saber and points it towards Robogoat. Robogoat states, that's still no match for the amount of destruction. Robogoat holds it's staff in front of it as Thunder Megazord cuts it in half with it's saber. The pieces fall to the ground. Robogoat is upset. Look what you done! Maybe you'll get a charge out of this. Gold and blue electric currents shoot out of Robogoat's hands and hits Thunder Megazord hard. Robogoat blasts Thunder Megazord again as he shouts goodbye Rangers! Red Ranger yells, Zordon! Do you have a lock on Tommy?! We need him now! Robogoat shoots more electrical blasts at Thunder Megazord. Thunder Megazord is hit hard. Red Ranger tells his team to pull it together. Thunder Megazord falls to the ground. Robogoat laughs and charges towards the fallen Thunder Megazord as he shouts, you're finished! Red Ranger tells the team, direction systems sluggish but not down. Billy, check it out! Robogoat charges towards Thunder Megazord. Red Ranger informs the team, system is fully online. Way to go guys! Now let's show him what we're made of! Thunder Megazord pulls out it's sword. Robogoat hesitates and then states, you don't scare me. Thunder Megazord strikes Robogoat with it's sword and Robogoat is destroyed.

Several teens are at the Youth Center, getting ready for the clean up drive in the Angel Grove community. Zack, Trini, and Billy are among the teens. A television reporter is there as well and she, and her camera man, film the teens. The television reporter talks to Zack about the clean up drive. The television reporter tells the group that a rumor is going around that the Power Rangers will be there. Zack doesn't know what to say and Trini covers for him by telling the reporter, they don't know as they don't know the Power Rangers. The interview ends and the reporter thanks them. Everyone leaves for the clean up drive. Later, Alpha 5 contacts, Zack, Trini, and Billy and tells them to teleport to the Command Center. At the Command Center, Kimberly tells Zordon, we got to do something to get Tommy back. (Tommy had gotten capture by Octophantom and his jar.) Zordon instructs Alpha 5 to access all the available data on the monster. See if you can come up with any solutions. Alpha 5 gets started right away as Kimberly peers over his shoulder. After awhile, using the information gathered, Billy has come to the conclusion that the monster is a combination of an elephant and an octopus. Zack notes, that must mean he is incredibly strong. Jason adds it's going to take a lot to beat this one. Trini asks Billy if he has be able to locate Tommy? Billy responds, negative. After a few moments, Zordon informs the teens that the Octophantom has just landed in West Union park. Kimberly asks, does he have Tommy with him? Zack, Kimberly, Trini, Billy, Jason, and Alpha 5 hurry over to the viewing globe, where images of Octophantom are being shown. Zordon replies, I'm afraid not. Billy notes the park is so far away from everything. What's he doing there? Zordon responds, I believe Lord Zedd's monster has been sent to vandalize the park in an attempt to lure you Rangers out into the open. Trini becomes alarm when she notes Octophantom is ruining the Pacific Heritage monuments. Zordon warns the teens, use caution Power Rangers. His purpose is to capture you, just as he did Tommy. The teens morph and teleport out. Black Ranger, Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Red Ranger arrive at the park and simultaneously punch Octophantom. Octophantom quickly knocks them away. As the Rangers get back up, Octophantom greets them. Red Ranger asks, where's Tommy? Octophantom replies, right where you five are going. Octophantom blasts the five Rangers with his hands. Octophantom then shoots starfish at the Rangers. The starfish attached themselves to the Rangers and erupted in explosions, knocking the Rangers off their feet once more. The Rangers struggle as they get back up. Black Ranger tells Red Ranger, come on Jason! We can take this guy! Red Ranger agrees and shouts, lets! Black Ranger, Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Red Ranger charge towards Octophantom. Blue Ranger is more cautious and shouts at them to wait. It's a trap! Black Ranger, Red Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Yellow Ranger fight Octophantom. Blue Ranger watches the battle. Red Ranger lands several kicks on Octophantom. Yellow Ranger takes out her Blade Blaster and fights Octophantom with it. Pink Ranger also uses her Blade Blaster as she joins Yellow Ranger in fighting Octophantom. Octophantom soon knocks the two Rangers to the ground. Black Ranger and Red Ranger leap into the air and try to land a kick on Octophantom. Instead, he tosses them onto the pavement. Octophantom gloats, you're no match for me. Prepare to meet your fate. Blue Ranger calls out another warning, Jason, watch out! Octophantom tells them, it's time to meet your friend, the Green Ranger. As you donate your powers to the...Octophantom becomes distracted by his reflection on the back of a metal monument. He notes, I've never noticed what a handsome fella I am. Those lips, those eyes. Not bad, if I do say so myself. Blue Ranger closely watches Octophantom. Octophantom turns away from his reflection as he states, okay back to business. Octophantom takes out his jar and asks, who wants to be the first one to join the Green Ranger in this jar? Red Ranger replies, none of us creep! Octophantom decides to take all of them at once. He points his jar at the four Rangers. Red Ranger manages to leap away but Black Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Pink Ranger are sucked into the jar. Later, Black Ranger, Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Green Ranger are taken outside to a cliff overlooking a gravel quarry. The four Rangers are guarded by several of Zedd's Putties. Below them, Red Ranger fights Octophantom. Soon Blue Ranger arrives to help Red Ranger. He gives Red Ranger a shield. Blue Ranger and Red Ranger fight Octophantom. After awhile, Blue Ranger leaps above to where the four Rangers are. Blue Ranger fights Zedd's Putties. He kicks one Putty aside and punches another one. Blue Ranger defeats the Putties. Blue Ranger frees the four Rangers. Green Ranger collapses when he is freed, and Blue Ranger catches him. Blue Ranger tells him, he is too weak. You need to go back to the Command Center. Green Ranger insists he is alright. Blue Ranger doesn't buy it. You're no good to us this way. Blue Ranger presses Green Ranger's morpher and sends him back to the Command Center. Blue Ranger shouts, Jason! Everyone is free! Red Ranger is very happy! Way to go Billy! The rest of the Rangers join Red Ranger as Octophantom tries to stand back up. Blue Ranger asks Red Ranger if he is okay? Red Ranger replies, yeah, good work. Octophantom gets back up and shouts, I've had it with you Power Brats! Red Ranger shouts, let's get this job done! The Rangers have their power weapons at the ready. Lord Zedd tosses down his grow bomb. Octophantom catches the bomb and grows to giant size. The five Rangers summon their thunder zords. The thunder zords arrive and Thunder Megazord is formed. Mockingly Octophantom pretends to be scared. Maybe I should run away. Octophantom laughs and then runs towards Thunder Megazord. Thunder Megazord lands a hard punch on Octophantom. Octophantom is upset. Hey, watch the trunk! Octophantom punches Thunder Megazord. Thunder Megazord takes several steps back. Thunder Megazord pulls out it's sword and strikes Octophantom with it. Octophantom screams at them to watch the trunk! Octophantom tells them, since you won't play fair, I'm just going to have to finish you off. Octophantom runs towards Thunder Megazord and punches Thunder Megazord once more. Octophantom taunts Thunder Megazord. Thunder Megazord powers up it's sword and knocks Octophantom off it's feet. Octophantom staggers back up on it's feet. Thunder Megazord strikes Octophantom with it's sword and Octophantom is destroyed. After the battle, at the Youth Center, everyone is enjoying the refreshments set out. Zack walks over to Jason, Billy, and Kimberly and has them follow him. Zack stops where Trini is standing. In a quiet voice, Zack asks, how's Tommy? Kimberly replies, well his powers are getting really weak but I think he will be okay. Trini lays a sympathetic hand on Kimberly. Jason notes Bulk and Skull's gleeful entrance and points it out to his friends. Bulk shouts, proof! We got the proof. Skull holds a tape high. Bulk is so happy he is snapping his fingers. Zack, Jason, Billy, Trini, and Kimberly become concern. Zack comments, I bet I know what these guys are up to. Bulk and Skull walk over to the VHS machine and Bulk presses a few buttons. Zack, Billy, Trini, Kimberly, and Jason walk over. Zack asks, hey guys, what do you got there? Skull replies, our ticket to fame. Skull points the tape in their direction and Bulk quickly takes the tape. Bulk continues, we are about to show the world who the Power Rangers really are. A large crowd of kids have gather behind Bulk and Skull. Trini asks, what? Skull snatches the tape back from Bulk. Skull responds, see this tape was in the news camera when the putty patrol attacked. Bulk takes the tape back and continues. If I'm right, the Power Rangers showed up to clear out the Putties. And we've got the proof. Right here on tape. Bulk is about to place the tape into the VCR when Jason places his hand in front of the slot, blocking the tape. Jason tells Bulk, maybe you don't want to watch that just yet. Bulk stands back up and asks, why not? Zack quickly grabs the tape and answers, well because it's not labeled yet. Bulk asks, what's the big idea? Billy grabs a tape from the stand and Zack and Billy exchange the tapes. Jason tells Bulk, chill out. He's just putting a label on it. Bulk and Skull exchange glances as Kimberly adds, yeah, you wouldn't want to lose something so important, right? Zack gives the "tape" back, stating here you go. All labeled and ready. Skull grabs the tape and gives it to Bulk. Bulk tells Skull, let's make history. The guys pound their chest before placing the tape into the VCR. Instead of the recording at the park, the tape is playing a cartoon. Bulk is upset. Hey! Where are the Power Rangers?! Skull tells Bulk to hang on. I really like this part. The teens turn away from Bulk and Skull. Trini asks Zack, how did you do that? Zack responds, well like I always say, the hand is quicker than the eye. Zack and Trini high five each other. Jason adds, especially when you switch tapes with Billy. Billy points to his shirt as he tells them that's where the tape is. I'll take it home later and put it in my tape eraser, thus eliminating the evidence. Bulk is still upset. I was going to be famous. I was going to be rich. I was going to be...Skull yells at him. Bulkie! Could you please hold it down! I'm trying to watch the show! Bulk face palms as Zack, Trini, Kimberly, Billy and Jason laugh.

Zack, Billy, Tommy, and Jason are at the Youth Center. They are watching Ernie play a game with a ball and a broom. Ernie walks over and explains he is playing broomball and is starting a tournament. Ernie asks the guys if they would like to play, and the guys are very reluctant. Two teens from Stone Canyon walk in and ask Ernie if they can put up posters for their team. Everyone wants to see them play. They also ask Ernie if he's gotten a team to play against them. The Stone Canyon teens are very confident and the guys are unable to resist the challenge and decide to play against them. The Stone Canyon teens reveal that they are the champions and the guys realized they have to start practicing. The guys, plus Kimberly start practicing for the match against Stone Canyon. Sitting on the sidelines, Trini films her friends. As the teens practice, the ball goes out of bounds. A teen picks up the ball and walks over. Trini is immediately smitten with the young man. Kimberly tells Trini that he is a new student and is very nice. The young man gives the ball to Ernie and Ernie introduces Richie to Kimberly and Trini. Trini immediately offers him a position on the team. Ernie tells them that he has enough players, but he could use an assistant coach, which Richie accepts. Bulk and Skull walk into the Youth Center with their latest plan. Bulk and Skull have a new invention that will sniff people and their plan is to pretend to interview people, while using their invention to sniff them. Bulk and Skull hope to match up the scents to the Rangers' scents and reveal who they are. After practice, Zack, Trini, Billy, and Jason put up their poster of their team next to Stone Canyon's poster. Trini thinks their poster looks better and Zack agrees. Billy points to the poster and comments he thought there was a creature on the poster before. Trini agrees, there was a beetle before. They exchange puzzled looks. Jason's communicator goes off. Zack, Trini, and Billy gather around Jason. Zordon tells them Kimberly and Tommy have been attacked by one of Zedd's monsters. Jason responds, read you. Zack, Jason, Trini, and Billy morph. They head to the park, where they immediately began fighting the Putties. Green Ranger is very weak. Stag Beetle declares, your power now belongs to Lord Zedd! Stag Beetle and the Putties vanish. Green Ranger is soon surrounded by his friends. Green Ranger tells them he feels completely wiped out. Red Ranger states, we're taking you to the Command Center now! At the Command Center, Zordon asks Billy, what is your analysissis of Tommy's condition? Billy responds, physically, he's okay. Tommy adds I feel fine. Just weak. I don't really remember what happened. Kimberly states, well, when the beetle attacked us, it was definitely targeting Tommy. Zordon concludes, that must be Zedd's plan. We must learn exactly what the Stag Beetle has done to him. Billy walks over to a console and pulls out the computer printout. Billy tells them, this readout indicates that Tommy has been stripped of his Power Ranger energies. Alpha 5 becomes alarmed. Zordon warns the teens to be careful. If the beetle has stolen Tommy's powers, it can do the same to any of you. As long as it controls the green energy, it is extremely powerful. Trini asks, what can we do? Billy has an idea. Perhaps Alpha can construct a green energy device that will recapture Tommy's power. Although that would take some time. Zordon thinks it's an excellent suggestion. Alpha 5 tells them he'll get right on it. The alarms go off in the Command Center. Zordon informs them, the beetle has reappeared near Angel Grove. Jason is ready to get him. Zordon reminds them, the Stag Beetle must not be destroyed until we recover Tommy's powers. Zack confirms, okay, we're on it. Kimberly tells Tommy to hang in there. We'll get your powers back for you. Zack, Kimberly, Billy, Jason, and Trini teleport out. The Rangers arrive and Stag Beetle asks, didn't you learn anything from your green friend? Now it's your turn! Black Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Red Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Blue Ranger pull out their Blade Blasters and charge towards Stag Beetle. The five Rangers fight Stag Beetle with their Blade Blasters. Stag Beetle strikes the Rangers back. He soon has them all knocked away. The Rangers gather together as Black Ranger states, I hate bugs! Stag Beetle tells them they are finished! Black Ranger tells his team, wait here guys! I'll squash that bug brain! Black Ranger leaps over to Stag Beetle. But before Black Ranger can strike, Stag Beetle knocks him out of the air. Black Ranger lands hard on his back. Stag Beetle laughs. Stag Beetle tells Black Ranger, you're no match for me, foolish Ranger. Black Ranger, with his Blade Blaster, fights Stag Beetle. Stag Beetle manages to grab a hold of Black Ranger and tosses him aside. Black Ranger lands on his back once more. The rest of the Rangers gather around him. Red Ranger asks if he is okay? Black Ranger replies yeah. The four Rangers form a protective circle around Black Ranger and have their Blade Blasters pointed towards Stag Beetle. Stag Beetle asks, how about a little Green Ranger power? Stag Beetle blasts the Rangers with Green Ranger's power. The Rangers are hit hard and knocked off their feet. They land on the ground and roll down a hill. Stag Beetle laughs. When they hit the bottom, Red Ranger tells them, we have to catch him, to get Tommy's powers back. Red Ranger shouts, attack! Black Ranger and Pink Ranger leap into the air with their Blade Blasters. As does Blue Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Red Ranger. They strike Stag Beetle simultaneously, but once more Stag Beetle knocks them aside. Stag Beetle asks, want to play ball. Stag Beetle generates electrical currents out of his pinchers and it forms a ball. Stag Beetle tosses the ball towards the Rangers. The Rangers are hit hard. Several Putties arrive, and Stag Beetle tells them, let's finish them off! The Rangers struggle to get back up. Red Ranger grunts out, this guy's tough. Stag Beetle asks, what's the matter? Something bugging you? Stag Beetle laughs. The Rangers stumble back up and Red Ranger tells the team, I'll distract him, while you attack. Black Ranger tells him, no. He's too strong. He's using Tommy's powers against us. Yellow Ranger adds, we got to get out of the open and find some cover. Red Ranger agrees. We'll find a spot where we can fight him on our terms. Red Ranger takes off running, as he shouts, let's go! The rest of the Rangers hesitates. Blue Ranger shouts wait a minute! Black Ranger shouts, Jason, hold up! Shouldn't we be going the other way?! Reluctantly the rest of the Rangers follow. Stag Beetle thinks the Rangers are running away. He tells the Putties to go after them. The Rangers continue to run as explosions hit behind them. The Rangers end up on top of a hill and Black Ranger notes, it's the end of the road. The Rangers turn around and see Stag Beetle and the Putties. Stag Beetle asks, what's the matter Power Rangers? No where to run? Red Ranger replies, we're not afraid to fight you. Stag Beetle states, maybe a blast of Green Ranger power will change your mind. Red Ranger shouts back, give it your best shot! Black Ranger warns, it will blow us right off the edge. Green Ranger arrives a few feet away. Green Ranger shouts at the Rangers to duck as he aims the device at Stag Beetle. Stag Beetle pays no attention and begins to fire the Green Ranger power. The Rangers duck down. Green Ranger uses the device and the power returns to Green Ranger. Green Ranger shouts a thank you to Alpha 5. Black Ranger asks, what happened? I thought we were about to be toast. Yellow Ranger notes, for some reason, the Green Ranger power never hit us. Red Ranger notes, it's Tommy. He's back. The Green Ranger's power is ours again. And that means you're finished beetle head! Red Ranger shouts, weapons everybody! Stag Beetle gloats, I am the unbeatable beetle. Red Ranger states, we'll see about that. The Rangers assemble their power weapons to form Power Blaster. The Rangers fire Power Blaster and Stag Beetle is defeated. Blue Ranger warns, I don't think he's done yet guys. Lord Zedd tosses down the grow bomb. Stag Beetle catches the bomb. Blue Ranger notes Zedd's potion has revived Stag Beetle. Red Ranger adds, that's not all he's doing. Stag Beetle grows huge. The Rangers summon their Thunder Zords. The Thunder Zords arrive and Thunder Megazord is quickly formed. Stag Beetle states, let's see how you like a little pincher action and charges towards Thunder Megazord. Stag Beetle strikes Thunder Megazord hard. Black Ranger shouts, we got to exterminate this bug! Stag Beetle laughs. Thunder Megazord falls to the ground. Stag Beetle taunts them. Taking a little rest?! Well, wake up! Stag Beetle kicks Thunder Megazord. Red Ranger states, we can't take any more hits like that. We got to get up. Thunder Megazord gets back up and faces Stag Beetle. Stag Beetle is ready - come on! My pinchers will make power mush out of you. Red Ranger tells the team, here he comes. When he gets close enough - power punch! Thunder Megazord punches Stag Beetle, knocking him to the ground. Thunder Megazord strikes Stag Beetle with the thunder saber, hurting it's pinchers. Thunder Megazord strikes another blow to Stag Beetle with it's thunder saber. Stag Beetle is destroyed. Afterwards, in the Youth Center, Zack, Billy, Jason, Kimberly, and Tommy play broomball against Stone Canyon. It is a close game and the Stone Canyon players are very confident that they will win. Bulk and Skull walk in and stand in front of the crowd with their device. Bulk asks a young woman, so who do you think is going to win? The young woman replies, Angel Grove. Bulk quickly lifts up his smelling device and the young woman's hair goes flying in every direction. Meanwhile, Ernie coaches the team to pass the ball to Jason. Jason will get it to Tommy for the last shot. Skull asks the young woman, are you a Power Ranger? The young woman looks confused. Skull places the device on top of her head and asks the question again. The young woman becomes upset and walks away. The game starts up again with six seconds remaining. The team follows Ernie's plan. The game is tied when Tommy scores the winning point. Zack, Trini, Ernie, and Richie cheer. Kimberly, Jason, Tommy, and Billy walk over to them. Richie tells them they did a great job. Trini tells Richie it is because they had great coaches. The Stone Canyon players dejectedly start to walk out of the Youth Center. The Stone Canyon coach makes two of the players walk over to the Angel Grove team. Reluctantly, they tell them they are really good. The teen shakes hands with Jason. Jason tells the two Stone Canyon players good game and maybe Stone Canyon will beat them next year. The Stone Canyon players are not too sure and reply maybe before walking out. The Stone Canyon team and coach walk out of the Youth Center. Ernie offers free drinks for everyone and he and Richie walk away to start serving drinks. Zack tells Tommy he played great. Tommy thanks him and then tells the group that he won't be much use to the Rangers soon. Tommy tells them, Zedd has used up so much of his powers. Kimberly tells Tommy, don't worry about it. You will be alright. Jason reassures Tommy they will get him to full strength again and the rest of the team backs Jason up. Tommy sadly agrees with them, but he has his doubts.

Hallie, Trini's neighbor had been kidnapped by Goldar and several Putties. In their haste to leave with Hallie, Goldar had dropped a bottle with a message inside it. Trini, Kimberly, and Tommy went to the Command Center. Zack, Billy, and Jason were summon to the Command Center. At the Command Center, Billy is busy scanning the characters into the computer. The computer should then decode them. Tommy fills in the rest on what happened. By the time we got there, Goldar and the Putties took off with Hallie. Jason thinks maybe the message Goldar drop may tell them something. Billy states, the computer is decoding the message. Alpha 5 adds the translation is nearly complete. The computer prints out a sheet and Billy tears it off, stating, let's see what it says. He tells his friends, it's instructions to Goldar. It says take Hallie to Venus Island where she'll join us forever. Kimberly questions, Venus Island? Zordon tells them, an island that exists only when Zedd calls it forth as he has done now. Behold the viewing globe. Zack, Billy, Trini, Jason, Kimberly, and Tommy gather around the viewing globe and look at images of Venus Island. Zordon continues, just as Zedd can make the island rise, he can make it sink at any time. If it should sink before Hallie is rescued, she will be lost forever to his evil power. Trini becomes alarmed. Zordon, we can't wait. Jason asks, how do we get there? Zordon responds, no one but Zedd knows it's location. It appears whenever he chooses. Billy is not willing to give up. There must be something unique about the island we can use to pinpoint it. Zordon tells them, at sunset the trade winds blow to Venus Island. Billy you must devise a way to track these winds. Trini asks Billy, how can you follow the wind? Billy doesn't answer and becomes deep in thought. After awhile, Billy comes up with an idea. Billy goes to his home to work on the device, along with Jason and Trini. After awhile, Jason's communicator goes off. Jason responds, we're here Zordon. Zordon tells them they must hurry. My sensors indicate Venus Island is becoming less stable. The three teens hurry out. Billy, Trini, and Jason are standing on a hill. Zordon contacts them and tells them they must not miss sunset. I fear the island is much too unstable to last another day. Billy asks, is the tracking device operational? Zack, taking a close look at the tracking device, responds, yes perfect. I guess. Moments later, Zack, Kimberly, and Tommy watch the weather balloon float away on the viewing globe. Jason, Trini, and Billy return to the Command Center. Billy looks over the maps as he tells his friends, still moving rapidly over the Atlantic Ocean. Jason instructs them, as soon as it lands, we teleport in, get Hallie and get out. Tommy agrees. Zack suggests they maybe Tommy should stay behind. I mean we might need you here. Uncomfortable, Kimberly adds yeah, your powers. Zordon tells them, Kimberly is right. Your powers have been significantly weaken. If Zedd should force a long fight, it could drain the last of your energy. You could be lost along with the island. Tommy reassures his friends, look if Zedd pulls anything, I'll teleport back here. Deal? Jason exchanges uneasy glances with Zack and Trini before telling Tommy, it's a deal. Alpha 5 announces, the tracking signal! Billy notes, it's landed and it's an island. Smiles return to everyone's faces. Alpha 5 announces, the sensors have located Hallie in the center of the island and points to the viewing globe. The viewing globe shows images of Hallie, which disturbs them all. Trini asks, what's happening? Zordon answers, Lord Zedd is trying to make Hallie evil. When the red fog has taken over her entire body, she will be lost to his evil control. Jason states, we'll see about that. Ready to teleport. The teens get ready and Jason announces, to Venus Island. Alpha 5 wishes them good luck as they teleport out. Zack, Billy, Jason, Kimberly, Tommy, and Trini arrive on Venus Island. Billy quickly unties the device from the weather balloon and they begin their search for Hallie. It is a strange place and Kimberly comments, these plants are weird. Invenusable Flytrap arrives on Venus Island. Zack, Billy, Jason, Tommy, Kimberly, and Trini continue to search the island. After a few moments, Kimberly asks, did you hear something? Trini responds, I don't know, maybe. Invenusable Flytrap arrives behind them and Trini is the first to spot it and calls out a warning to her friends. Zack, Billy, Kimberly, Tommy, Trini, and Jason quickly morph. The Rangers face down Invenusable Flytrap. Invenusable Flytrap welcomes them to Venus Island. I do hope you like it, since you will never leave! Invenusable Flytrap laughs. Invenusable Flytrap introduces itself and states it is master of this island. And as you can see, I'm invincible. Why not give up now and spare yourselves the agony of defeat. Instead the Rangers charge towards Invenusable Flytrap and fight it. Invenusable Flytrap easily blocks their kicks and blows. Green Ranger shouts, let's trim this weed! He pulls out his Dragon Dagger as Yellow Ranger pulls out her Power Daggers. They both leap towards Invenusable Flytrap with their weapons. Invenusable Flytrap easily knocks them away. The Rangers gather together. Invenusable Flytrap announces, it's one o'clock, time for lunch! Invenusable Flytrap opens his chest plates and an powerful force bursts out and engulfs Black Ranger, Blue Ranger, Red Ranger, and Pink Ranger pulling them inside Invenusable Flytrap. Yellow Ranger and Green Ranger are summon back to the Command Center. After awhile, the two Rangers return to the island. Green Ranger and Yellow Ranger land a kick on Invenusable Flytrap knocking it down. Green Ranger states, I guess it's a little too hot for you. Yellow Ranger adds, and it's about to get even hotter. Invenusable Flytrap laughs. Empty threats to fill my belly. Soon you will join your friends. Inside, the four Rangers can hear what's going on. Blue Ranger notes, he must be telling us that heat is what we need to defeat the monster. Perhaps if we put our power coins together. Pink Ranger agrees, let's try it. Black Ranger, Blue Ranger, Red Ranger, and Pink Ranger form a circle and place their hands in the middle, powering them up. Then the four Rangers begin beating against Invenusable Flytrap's insides. Invenusable Flytrap is running and laughing when it suddenly stops and clutches it's stomach. Green Ranger tells Yellow Ranger, they got the message! Yellow Ranger states, our turn! Both Rangers leap up and punch Invenusable Flytrap, knocking it off it's feet. Invenusable Flytrap tells them, you'll pay for this! Green Ranger suggests they apply a little heat of their own. Yellow Ranger agrees. The two Rangers do so and Invenusable Flytrap screams, stop it! Stop it all of you! You're giving me heartburn! Red Ranger lands another punch inside, which frees the four Rangers. Blue Ranger notes, we escaped. Yellow Ranger and Green Ranger run over to join the rest of the Rangers. Yellow Ranger asks, are you guys alright? Black Ranger replies, yeah. Invenusable Flytrap tells them, no one escapes me! You're mine! Invenusable Flytrap charges towards the Rangers. The Rangers pull out their power weapons. The Rangers leap into the air and strike Invenusable Flytrap with their power weapons. Invenusable Flytrap falls to the ground once more. Invenusable Flytrap gets back up and shouts, now you made me mad! The Rangers form the Power Blaster and fire it. Invenusable Flytrap is destroyed by the Power Blaster. Venus Island begins to shake. Blue Ranger tells the rest, the island is beginning to sink into the ocean. We got to find Hallie before it's too late. Black Ranger, Blue Ranger, Red Ranger, Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Green Ranger continue their search for Hallie. Blue Ranger notes, the signal is getting stronger. Hallie must be nearby. Blue Ranger leads the rest of the Rangers in the direction he thinks Hallie is at. The shaking makes it hard for the Rangers to keep moving. The Rangers enter a cave and soon find Hallie. Yellow Ranger shouts, hurry, we got to get her out guys! Green Ranger states, I'm going in, but Blue Ranger stops him. Blue Ranger tells him, don't go in there. Can you see that's what Zedd wants you to do. Green Ranger notes, Hallie is almost completely red. I got to! Yellow Ranger stops him as well. No Tommy! Don't!
