Ninjor - Kurt Strauss

When the Power Rangers lost their zords and powers, they went looking for the legendary Ninjor.  Ninjor created the original power coins.  The Power Rangers travel through the Desert of Despair to find the lost temple.  Ninjor was in the lost temple and inside a jar.  When he first heard the Power Rangers enter, he tried to get rid of them.  He wasn't happy when they found him in a jar.  Ninjor left the jar and presented himself to the Power Rangers.  Tommy explained how they lost their powers and that Zordon had sent them on a quest for new powers.  Ninjor was unmoved and told them to leave and turn his back on them.  He listened as the Power Rangers began forming plans to defeat Lord Zedd.  Their conversation persuade Ninjor that the Power Rangers did not want the power for their selfish needs.  Ninjor perform a ceremony with the Power Ranger surrounding him in a circle.  The Power Rangers now had new powers.  Ninjor lead them outside where he unveiled their new ninja zords and presented each Ranger with their ninja animal.  Ninjor sent them off to battle the Tengas who were trying to enter the lost temple.

Vampirus appeared outside the temple and Ninjor appeared.  Ninjor and Vampirus battled.  Ninjor zoomed over Vampirus in a cloud.  At one point, Vampirus had transported Ninjor to a place with red clouds.  Vampirus grew large and Ninjor grew large as well.  Ninjor, along with the Rangers, were able to defeat Vampirus.  Ninjor returned to his temple.  He wanted to contact the Rangers and through the viewing globe in the Command Center, he was able to.  Ninjor told the Power Rangers if they needed him, he would arrive and help them.

Ninjor helped the Rangers on numerous occasions.  Eventually he would be held captive by Lord Zedd.

In his eagerness to show Master Vile that Ninjor was capture, Rito dropped the jar and Ninjor escape.  Ninjor immediately went to the Command Center and forewarned the Rangers that Master Vile was searching for the zeo crystals.  The Rangers had to prevent Master Vile from getting the zeo crystals which were hidden in the Caves of Deception, under Rita and Lord Zedd's palace.  Ninjor's freedom was short-lived, as Master Vile sent the Blue Globber down.  The Blue Globber captured Ninjor and absorbed some of Ninjor's powers.

As the Rangers battled the Blue Globber, Ninjor felt every blow.  The connection between Ninjor and Blue Globber assured that Ninjor would feel the blows.  He was tied in chains as he watched helplessly.  When the Rangers discovered what was happening, they stopped fighting Blue Globber because they did not want to hurt their friend.  Alpha 5 found a way to destroy Master Vile's spell of darkness.  When the spell was broken, Ninjor was able to break the chains and escape.  He helped the Rangers defeat Blue Globber.
