Kendall felt the Gold Energem was around the southwest creek beds and wanted the team to check it out. But Cavity ruined their plans. In addition, Riley felt like Chase didn't take anything seriously. Cavity managed to slip in free cake slices to customers, who ended up with a lot of pain in their mouths. Green Ranger and Black Ranger had battled Cavity, but Cavity got away while the two were arguing. Kendall and Riley organize the remaining cake slices. Each cake slice has a number assigned to it. Kendall tells Riley, these are the left over pieces of the poisoned cake. Riley states, we need to record how much was eaten by each person and then whether it was the cake or the frosting. Kendall hopes they can come up with an antidote. They move the cake slices over to the counter. Kendall asks, victim number one? Riley examines the cake slice and replies, two cake bites, one frosting. Kendall writes down the information as Riley talks. Riley picks up the second cake piece. Victim number two looks like three cake bites and no frosting. Behind them Chase is clearing off the table of the cake slices. Riley spots Chase and yells at him to stop. What are you doing?! Chase replies, I'm cleaning up. That's what I'm suppose to be doing right? Riley answers, no, not these. We need to figure out what's going on first. Chase responds, my instincts tell me that what's going on, is that if you eat the cake, you get a toothache. Riley states, it's not that simple. Chase responds, it is that simple. Riley tells him, we need to analyze it first. Chase grits his teeth in frustration. You always love to analyze things. Riley replies yes. Chase takes the trash can and empties it onto the table and tells him to analyze that. Now Kendall is mad as she walks over and tells them enough! Both of you out of here! And don't come back till you sort this out! Chase takes his skateboard and rolls out of the cafe. Riley shouts after him, you can't skate in here! Kendall glares at Riley and he gives her a sheepish glance. Later, Riley realized he had misjudged Chase. Cavity was eventually destroyed by Dino Charge Megazord/Tri-Stego Formation.
Shelby enters Dino Lab. Kendall is there working. Kendall comments, you're back early. Is everything okay? What happened? Shelby responds, something did happen. I came up with an idea for how to find the other Energems. Kendall is skeptical. Oh, really? I think you underestimate how difficult it is to find an Energem. Kendall walks away. Shelby defends herself. And I think you underestimate me. Kendall turns around. Shelby continues, ever since I first got here, I've been waiting tables, mopping floors, and being a pretty good Pink Ranger if I do say so myself. Kendall raises her eyebrows. Shelby adds, I also got a lot of ideas going on up here - Shelby taps her forehead. The problem is no one will listen. Kendall decides to give Shelby a chance. I'm listening. Shelby is slightly taken aback and it takes her a moment to gather her thoughts. We combine five known facts about the remaining dinosaurs, climate, breeding grounds, food sources, stuff I know. With a global scan of energy signatures for each of those dinosaurs' Energems. Kendall is dubious. Shelby continues, that stuff I thought you could help me figure out. Kendall repeats global scan of energy signatures. Highly doubtful. But another thought pops into Kendall's head.
