Dr. Oliver sends the Rangers to destroy a beam that Elsa has aimed towards Jupiter. The evil White Ranger and several Tyrannodrones are sent to protect the beam. The Rangers destroy the beam. Back at Dr. Oliver's lab, Kira invites Ethan and Conner over. Conner says he has soccer practice and Ethan tells Kira he has a dentist appointment. Later, Kira spots Ethan and decides to check out what he is doing. Kira is stunned to see Ethan and Cassidy holding hands. Afterwards, at Hayley's Cyberspace, Kira questions Ethan about what is going on between him and Cassidy. Ethan tells her that they are not going out, they are just hanging out. Kira is skeptical and Ethan tells Kira to give Cassidy a chance. The following day, at Channel 3, Mr. Cormier is frantic because he is out one reporter and has lots of stories. Kira uses this opportunity to convince Mr. Cormier to hire Cassidy as a reporter. Mr. Cormier's first assignment for Cassidy is to cover the sheep farm. Kira walks out onto the garage and sees several Tyrannodrones.
The Tyrannodrones are at Channel 3 for it's transmitter. Kira fights them off and goes outside. There she see Jupitor and contacts Conner and Ethan. Conner and Ethan arrived and the Rangers morphed. Conner is ready to call for the zords when Jupitor seeps into the ground. Jupitor, as a virus, wrecks havoc on the station. Dr. Oliver instructs the Rangers to return to the lab. There they asses the situation and Hayley tells Kira and Ethan that they will be able to stay morph after they power up Conner to Triassic. Dr. Oliver instructs Conner to handle the evil White Ranger, while the rest are to find the control panel at Channel 3 and get rid of Jupitor. The Rangers arrived at Channel 3. Kira, Ethan, and Trent entered the building and encountered Elsa and several Tyrannodrones. A battle breaks out with Trent taking on Elsa as Kira and Ethan fight the Tyrannodrones. Conner is kept busy by the evil White Ranger and goes into Super Dino Mode. Meanwhile, Devin is filming Cassidy at the sheep farm. Cassidy finds the story a bit tough going, especially when she falls into a pile of mud. Back on the battle field, Kira and Ethan take care of the Tyrannodrones. Trent sends them out to Conner while he holds off Elsa. Kira and Ethan helped Conner to power up to Triassic Ranger. Conner and the evil White Ranger entered the Triassic dimension. Conner and the evil White Ranger battle until Conner destroys the evil White Ranger. Kira and Ethan leave and find the control panel where they destroyed the virus. Kira and Ethan joined Conner outside where they discovered that the virus has revert to it's original form - Jupitor. The Triassic Mega Rover appears and Conner enters it. The Triassic Mega Rover forms the Mesodon Megazord and Conner battles Jupitor. During this time, Cassidy is walking back to Channel 3 dejectedly, about to give up on reporting. Devin is with her and points out the huge Jupitor. Devin quickly begins filming as Cassidy starts her report. Conner destroys Jupitor. Elsa retreats from Trent. Trent joins the other Rangers outside while Cassidy and Devin quietly film the whole process. Devin is happy that he has captured everything on film and Cassidy is thrilled. Cassidy prepares for her first broadcast as Kira, Ethan, and Conner watch. Devin is there to support his friend. Cassidy gives a glowing report on the Power Rangers. Mr. Cormier is impressed and gives Cassidy a permanent position. Glowing, Cassidy walks over to Kira and thanks her by giving her a peck on the cheek and then quickly leaves.
