Burning At Both Ends

Tommy is unable to power down. Tommy reasons that when he was fossilized his dino gem in his morpher remoleculerized. The Rangers noticed that the White Ranger is rampaging through Reefside. They morph and arrived on their raptor riders to battle with the White Ranger. Eventually the Rangers called for their megazord, joined by the Dimetrodon and Cephala zords. During the battle the White Ranger bonds the megazord with chains and places containment fields on the Dimetrodon and Cephala zords. The Rangers retreat to Tommy's lab, but they cannot freed their zords. Tommy tells the Rangers to return to their normal routine until they can figure out what to do. The following day, Conner is walking to school alone when he encounters Trent. Trent immediately morphs and attacks Conner. Conner morphs as well and the two battle. They are both knocked to the ground when Zeltrax and Insectolite appear. Insectolite injects the White Ranger and leaves. Conner races over to Trent to make sure he is okay. Trent assures him that he is more than okay - he is back to normal. Ethan and Kira arrive at school. Principal Randall spots them and questions them about Dr. Oliver's illness. Ethan and Kira claimed that Dr. Oliver did not look good the last time they saw him. Principal Randall leaves, and they spot Conner montioning them over. Conner tells them what happen to Trent. Trent is waiting on the blechers for the Rangers and tells them how sorry he is for everything he has done. Trent tells the Rangers that he will release their zords to them and as an apology give them a gift. The Rangers to met Trent at a warehouse. The White Ranger arrives at Mesogog's fortress. The White Ranger makes a "you scratch my back, I'll scratch your back" deal with Mesogog. Trent waits at the warehouse and Conner, Kira, Ethan, and Tommy arrived. Trent reveals his gift to be an ATV. Tommy insists that he be the first one to ride it. Tommy tricks Trent with a trick question about the ATV and it is revealed that Trent is still evil. Tommy is stuck on the ATV and Trent has his own ATV. Tommy and Trent battle it out, while the rest of the Rangers battle several Tyrannodrones. The battle ends and the Rangers discover that not only did Trent double-cross them, but Mesogog as well. Trent retreats and the Rangers return to Tommy's lab. The Rangers make a plan to use Insectolite to freed their zords. The Rangers appear and call for the White Ranger. The White Ranger appears and they tell him they want to make a deal with him. The White Ranger refuses and another battle break outs. The White Ranger retreats, but the Rangers have what they want - Insectolite. The Rangers races against a setting sun to free the captured zords. They arrived too late. The White Ranger has them under his control. Another breaks out between the two megazords, and the Rangers have a hard time with Dimetrodon and Cephala against them. Insectolite appears and attacks the White Ranger - Mesogog is furious over being double-crossed. The Rangers destroy Insectolite and both teams retreat. The Rangers return to Tommy's lab exhausted. Hayley has fixed their bikes and Tommy tries to pull the team together. Back at Mesogog's fortress, Mesogog berates Elsa and Zeltrax and sends them away. Mesogog's hand begins to glow and Mesogog fights it as he is transform back to Dr. Anton Mercer. Dr. Mercer is determined to keep Mesogog under control. Dr. Mercer leaves. Trent's ability to use backgrounds as camouflage has allow him to witness the transformation from Mesogog to his dad. Trent walks off with an evil grin on his face.
