Cassidy goes over her itinerary with Devin. Devin tells Cassidy she needs clones to all the work she has planned. Cassidy replies that there is only one Cassidy Cornell. Ethan tries to help Hayley by being a waiter, but he's not doing so well. Ethan talks to Conner and Kira. Kira believes that there is no good left in Trent. At Trent's home, Trent practices his battle skills on the Tryrandrones and finds them to easy. Dr. Mercer walks out and watches Trent for a moment. Trent and Dr. Mercer sit down and Dr. Mercer tells Trent he doesn't like this new side of Trent's personality. Trent believes that his dad wants him to continue to get stronger until he is impossible to beat. Dr. Mercer corrects Trent by telling him how Mesogog came to be. Dr. Mercer considered the experiments he was working on to be too risky to test on someone, so he tested it on himself. Dr. Mercer does not want to bring back the dinosaur era, that his Mesogog. Trent thinks that Mesogog and Dr. Mercer are the same. Dr. Mercer tells Trent that they share the same mind, but this was not what he wanted for his son. Trent snaps back to his dad that it's a little too late now and walks off. Dr. Mercer is left to ponder the consequences of his experiment on himself. Zeltrax sends Copyotter to Reefside. Dr. Oliver contacts the Rangers and tells them they are needed in the city. The Rangers morph and battle Copyotter. Copyotter copies their weapons and uses them against the Rangers. As Copyotter runs through the city, he bumps into Cassidy. Cassidy gives Copyotter a talking to and Copyotter makes three copies of Cassidy. The Cassidys give each other compliments and then march off to do all their work. The White Ranger battles the Copyotter and is surprised when Copyotter copies his weapon and leaves. Devin returns to Hayley's Cyberspace and is surprise to see Cassidy sitting so calmly when she has a ton of work to do. Cassidy sends Devin for her organizer and Devin runs into another Cassidy. Devin gets really confused when yet another Cassidy is sitting on his scooter. Devin comes to the conclusion that he needs to start wearing his glasses. The Rangers have another battle with Copyotter. The Black Ranger shows up to help. Trent arrives as well and concludes that he will battle whoever is the winner. Zeltrax, using the weapon Copyotter made, makes it appear as if the White Ranger destroyed Mesogog's lab. Mesogog is furious and yanks Trent back to his lair. Trent is strapped to a table and Mesogog plans to do away with Trent. Trent does not know what Mesogog is talking about and tells Mesogog that he has the wrong guy. Mesogog does not believe him and aims the beam at Trent and starts up the machine. Trent pleads to his dad that he is his son, and it reaches Dr. Mercer within Mesogog. Dr. Mercer gains controls and hits the beam away from Trent. The beam hits various objects, including Trent's dino gem. This neutralizes the evil effects of the dino gem, yet retains the dino power. Dr. Mercer frees Trent. Trent tells his dad that he feels like himself. Dr. Mercer tells Trent to do some good and help the Rangers. Trent does not want to go against his dad. Dr. Mercer almost collapses and tells Trent that he knows Trent will do what he has to do. Dr. Mercer vows to find a way out of the mind sharing with Mesogog. Trent vows not to tell anyone Dr. Mercer's secret before he leaves. The Rangers are still battling Copyotter when Trent shows up. Trent helps the Rangers, although they believe it is still another trick. Using his super dino mode, Trent destroys Copyotter and Mesogog brings Copyotter back and bigger. Dr. Oliver calls for the zords, and the Rangers battle Copyotter in their megazord. Dr. Oliver is watching the Rangers and aware that Zeltrax is behind him. Zeltrax attacks Dr. Oliver and is about to destroy him when Trent stops him. Dr. Oliver watches as Trent battles Zeltrax and soon Dr. Oliver joins Trent. Zeltrax leaves, but Dr. Oliver is still unsure of Trent. Trent demorphs and talks to Dr. Oliver. The Rangers destroy Copyotter. Devin walks out of Hayley's Cyberspace wearing his glasses. Devin thinks he needs a new prescription when he still sees four Cassidys. The Cassidys surround Devin and begin telling him off. Devin simply can not take four Cassidy - one being enough work. When Copyotter is destroyed, the three Cassidy clones vanish, leaving Devin with just one Cassidy. Dr. Oliver tells the Rangers to come to his lab - he has a surprise for them. The Rangers are surprised to see Trent there. Dr. Oliver tells them that Trent is on their side. Although a little reluctant at first, the Rangers accept Trent. Kira points out that all newbie Rangers have to wash the zords. The Rangers load Trent up with cleaning supplies and send him on his way. Elsa taunts Zeltrax about his failure, but Zeltrax has a surprise that impresses even Elsa. Zeltrax has created a clone of the evil White Ranger with no traces of Trent in it.
