Disappearing Act

Watching the viewing screen, Hayley and Dr. Oliver noticed Elsa at a rock quarry gathering green slime. Dr. Oliver decides if Elsa is interested in it, they should check it out. Dr. Oliver arrives at the rock quarry and find the green slime. Dr. Oliver is attacked by Tyrannodrones. Meanwhile, at Reefside High School, Ethan and Cassidy make plans for a picnic. They go their separate ways and Ethan is joined by Conner, Trent, and Kira. Ethan is nervous as it is his first date ever, and Conner promises to give him a crash course in dating. Elsewhere in the crowd, Devin accidentally knocks down Cassidy's books. Devin picks them commenting that he is all thumbs. Cassidy tells him not to be so hard on himself. Devin comments that Cassidy hanging out with Ethan has made her more nice. Cassidy is startled and feels she is a reporter, she isn't supposed to be nice. Back at the rock quarry, Dr. Oliver defeats the Tyrannodrones and returns to his lab with a sample of the green slime. At Reefside High School, Dr. Mercer is conducting a class. Dr. Mercer turns his back to his class as he fights Mesogog's attempt to take over. Dr. Mercer leaves the classroom and tries to fight off Mesogog, muttering not now. Trent has left the class and finds his dad just outside. Trent wants to help his dad, but Dr. Mercer sends him away. After Trent leaves, Dr. Mercer walks into the invisiportal. Hayley contacts the Rangers and tells them to met at Dr. Oliver's lab. Hayley believes she may have found a way to allow Dr. Oliver to demorph. Dr. Oliver is ready as the green slime splatters all over him. The green slime causes his invisibility power to go into overdrive and Dr. Oliver is demorph, but invisible.
Dr. Oliver tells the Rangers to go on while he and Hayley tried to figure out the problem. Conner figures it's a good time to help Ethan prepare for his date with Cassidy. And they head to Hayley's Cyberspace. Kira helps Ethan with his wardrobe, Conner gives Ethan dance lessons, and Trent guides Ethan through the proper eidetic for pouring a drink. Ethan's friends feel he is set to go and Ethan leaves, only to come back because he is nervous. Their bracelets go off and the Rangers arrived in the city and battle Thornox. After a while, Thornox vanishes through an invisiportal. Ethan realizes he is late for his date with Cassidy and takes off. Cassidy is waiting when Ethan arrives. They set up their picnic and try to find some common ground. Kira, Conner, Trent, and Dr. O watch the date through the viewing screen. The date is not going well as Ethan and Cassidy find out they have nothing in common. Dr. O leaves and tries to salvage the situation for Ethan. Dr. O lights the candles and tosses flowers by Ethan. Ethan gives the flowers to Cassidy who is delighted with the lit candles and flowers. Dr. O turns on some music and the two get up to dance. They are just starting to enjoy themselves, when several Tyrannodrones appeared and surround them. Ethan tells Cassidy to run, which she does. Ethan morphs and starts battling the Tyrannodrones. Ethan receives help from Dr. O who helps him battle the Tyrannodrones. Trent, Kira, and Conner watch on the viewing screen. Suddenly the screen shows them that the evil White Ranger and Thornox have appeared in the city. Trent, Kira, and Conner morphed and battle the evil White Ranger and Thornox. Ethan appears in his hovercraft cycle to help them. The group separates as Trent battles the Tyrannodrones and Kira, Ethan, and Conner take on the evil White Ranger and Thornox. Kira, Ethan, and Conner go into super dino mode, but it still isn't enough to defeat Thornox. The Rangers call for their zords and the battle continues. During the battle, Ethan and Kira power up Conner and the Triassic Mega Rover appears. Conner enters the Triassic Mega Rover and forms the Mesodon Megazord. With the two zords, the Rangers are able to destroy Thornox. Later, Conner, Trent, and Kira find Ethan at Cyberspace. Conner asks him why he isn't finishing his date. Ethan had come to the conclusion that he and Cassidy have nothing in common. Plus the fact that he is a Ranger and has to be always on duty. Ethan just doesn't know how to tell Cassidy. Trent tells him he better think fast as Cassidy walks toward them. Trent, Conner, and Kira leave to help Hayley. Cassidy tells Ethan that although she likes him, that her career as a reporter must come first and that she is always on calls. Cassidy feels this is not a good time for a personal relationship. Ethan has to turn his head in glee, as Cassidy has effectively taken him off the hook for breaking up with her. Ethan turns around and asks if Cassidy has time for them to be friends. Cassidy agrees that they can still be friends.
