Strange Relations

Trent congratulates his dad on the Greenleaf award he has won. Dr. Mercer is modest about the award, wishing he had solve the problem of Mesogog. Trent suggest the Rangers' help, but Dr. Mercer refuses, believing he can come up with a solution. Cassidy and Devin burst in. Cassidy introduces herself and Dr. Mercer reminds Cassidy that he knows who she is, as she was in his class. Cassidy goes forward and tries to interview Dr. Mercer on his Greenleaf award. Dr. Mercer explains that his botanical research may make it possible for plants to thrived in any environment. Devin releases the benefits of people being able to grow their crops anywhere. Cassidy asks Dr. Mercer if this is the beginning of a new, kinder, Dr. Mercer and if he has had any failures. Dr. Mercer, at first, smiles at Cassidy's reference to his kindness. But the smile disappears as he recalls the experiment that brought Mesogog forth and tells her like all scientists, he has had his set of failures. At this point, Dr. Mercer has to pause, as Mesogog tries to come forth. Trent picks up on what is going on and ushers Cassidy and Devin out of the place. Dr. Mercer transforms to Mesogog. Meanwhile, at Hayley's Cyberspace, the evil White Ranger contacts Ethan through a computer game. Ethan has Kira and Conner come take a look at the computer screen and the evil White Ranger issues a challenge to the Rangers. Conner is ready and Kira asks about Trent - who is with his dad. Conner thinks they can take on the evil White Ranger and Ethan suggest Dr. Oliver for backup. The four Rangers morphed and met the evil White Ranger. The evil White Ranger wants to know where the White Ranger is and a battle breaks out.
The battle escalates to zords on both sides. Meanwhile, Trent returns home and finds the greenhouse in shambles. During his look around, Trent suddenly finds himself weaker. Back on the battle field, the Rangers find the evil White Ranger very weaken. The Rangers ask him if he is okay and if they can help. The evil White Ranger states that they are worthy opponents, but he plans to continue to battle them. Ethan gains control of the Stegazord. The evil White Ranger realizes that he has lost control of his zords and retreats. The Rangers return to Dr. Oliver's lab where Hayley tells them that the white gem cannot support two White Rangers. One of the White Rangers can no longer exist. The Rangers are called back into battle when Jade Gladiator makes an appearance. Trent is leaving the greenhouse when Hayley contacts him and explains what is going on. Trent is ready to leave for Dr. Oliver's house when he is stopped by the evil White Ranger. The evil White Ranger wants to battle to the finish and Trent morphs. The two White Rangers battle. The battle is intense, but eventually Trent destroys the evil White Ranger. The rest of the Rangers are having difficulties of their own. The Jade Gladiator has Deadwood monster and Skortch battle against the Rangers. Conner, Kira, and Ethan get tossed from their zords. Dr. Oliver goes into Stegazord Megazord. In the zord, Dr. Oliver manages to destroy Deadwood monster, but he is eventually tossed from the zord. The Rangers gathered themselves together and notice the White Ranger walking towards them. They don't know whether it's the evil White Ranger or Trent. The White Ranger reveals himself to be Trent. The Rangers all morph and get into various zords to battle Jade Gladiator and Skortch. Eventually the Rangers used all the zords to form the Thundersaurus Full Power Megazord and eventually destroy Jade Gladiator and Skortch. Later, at Hayley's Cyberspace, Trent is working and is surprise when his dad walks in. Dr. Mercer gives Trent his Greenleaf award, because he feels that Trent has done more to help people than he has. Dr. Mercer leaves, and Kira walks up behind Trent. Kira asks about his dad, since Dr. Mercer looked stressed. Trent tells her that his dad is just trying to work out a problem. Kira leaves, and Trent is left to pondered his situation.
