The Missing Bone

Conner, Kira, and Ethan are concerned about what Trent might do in school. Trent finds the whole thing amusing and is called into Principal Randall's office. Principal Randall tells Trent that his teachers have made compliment about his school work and attitude. None of which bothers Trent as he enjoys the cat and mouse game he is playing with Principal Randall. The science class receives their substitute teacher, Dr. Anton Mercer. Dr. Anton begins the class by passing out permission forms for a field trip to the dinosaur museum. After school, Kira goes to Dr. Oliver's lab to help him take inventory. Kira tells Dr. Oliver about Dr. Mercer teaching his class. Dr. Oliver feels that the class will learn a lot. Kira notices a dinosaur bone and questions Dr. Oliver about it. Dr. Oliver tells her it is from an experiment he and Dr. Mercer had done on mind control - but they scraped the project. The following day, Dr. Mercer leads the science class to the dinosaur museum. Kira notices a shadow among the walls and decides to investigate. Cassidy follows Kira. Kira pretends that she is going to take a bathroom break, which Cassidy decides she needs as well. Kira tries to get her to rejoin the field trip, but Cassidy continues on her way. Cassidy is stopped by Dr. Mercer who leads her back to class. Kira finds a storage room and goes in. Kira is attacked by Tyrannodrones. While held captive, Fossilador takes over her mind. Kira leaves the storage room a little dazed. Conner and Ethan, who had been looking for her, spot her and ask if she is okay. Kira tells them that she is okay. Later, at Hayley's Cyberspace, Kira's attitude towards Conner and Ethan has change. Kira no longer wants to hang out with them. Even Hayley's attempts at conversation with Kira are rebuff. Kira leaves Hayley's Cyberspace. Kira contacts Dr. Oliver and tells him that she thinks she has spotted a dino egg, she is unable to check it out because she has to get home. Dr. Oliver leaves the lab, and Kira enters it. Kira takes the dinosaur bone and delivers it to Fossilador. Dr. Oliver cannot find any dino egg and contacts Kira to tell her so. Kira simply tells Dr. Oliver that she must have been mistaken. Conner and Ethan enter the lab with Dr. Oliver. They tell Dr. Oliver about how Kira is acting strangely. Dr. Oliver immediately discovers that the dinosaur bone is missing. The mine suspect - Kira. After Kira delivers the dinosaur bone, she is knocked to the ground by Fossilador, who no longer needs her. Dr. Oliver urges the guys to think about when Kira began to act so strangely and they recall it was during the field trip to the museum. Fossilador is attacking the city. Dr. Oliver, Conner, and Ethan morph and leave to take on Fossilador. Hayley leaves for the museum. Hayley finds the museum is locked. A guard comes and Hayley tells him she believes a student is still inside. The guard lets her in and Hayley finds Kira on the storage room floor. With the mind control gone, Kira is back to herself. Kira leaves to help the guys battle Fossilador. While Kira, Conner, and Ethan battle and destroy Fossilador. Dr. Oliver is kept busy battling Zeltrax and Triptoids. After the battle, they all return to the lab. Kira is curious as to why Dr. Mercer had the remaining bones of Fossilador at his museum. Elsewhere, Dr. Mercer is decked in Mesogog's gear. Dr. Mercer is sweating and shaking as he makes a serum to help him stay in control. Dr. Mercer loses control as Mesogog takes over before the serum is taken.
