Mesogog begins to drain Dr. Anton Mercer's life force as he puts his plans together for his transmogrification beam that will transform Earth back to the dinosaur era. Mesogog needs the dino gems for his beam, but in the meanwhile, he uses the power he gave Elsa. Elsa is strapped to a chair and her power is drain and then she vanishes. Trent observes all of this hidden. At Hayley's Cyberspace, Conner is excited about the prom and has his list of potential girls at the ready. Ethan and Kira are less enthusiastic about the prom. Devin walks up and asks if he can speak to Conner. They walk away and Devin asks Conner for some advice on how to ask a girl to the prom. At Dr. Oliver's home, Tommy and Hayley are aware that Mesogog and Dr. Anton Mercer are now separated. Tommy and Hayley are busy with a beam of their own to stop Mesogog's plans. Back at Hayley's Cyberspace, Devin acts on Conner's advice and tries to ask Cassidy to the prom. Before Devin can, Cassidy tells him that Mr. Cormier has informed her if they do not find out the identity of the Power Rangers, they are fired. Cassidy is determined to put everything else on hold, including the prom, until they discover the identity of the Power Rangers. At Mesogog's fortress, Trent walks up to Mesogog and makes a deal with him. Trent will bring him the dino gems if Mesogog releases his father. Meanwhile, Elsa is reverted back to human form and in the city of Reefside. Elsa has no idea where she is or what is happening when Zeltrax captures her.
At Dr. Oliver's home, the computer screen shows Zeltrax capturing a civilian. Dr. Oliver and Hayley are both watching this and wondering what Zeltrax is doing. Meanwhile, Ethan stands in line for the movie "Asteroid Conquest". Ethan is befriended by another fan of the movie, Angela. Ethan and Angela talk for awhile, until Ethan's communicator goes off. Angela promises to hold Ethan's place in line as Ethan leaves. Ethan contacts Dr. Oliver and Dr. Oliver tells him of Zeltrax. Devin observes all of this under an alien disguise. Devin follows Ethan. Ethan meets up with the rest of the Rangers and they begin battling Zeltrax. When they are unsuccessful in defeating Zeltrax, the Rangers morph. Devin is stunned, but captures it all on his camera. During the battle, Dr. Oliver hears the young woman calling for help and goes to search for her. Dr. Oliver finds the young woman they had seen being captured by Zeltrax and releases her. The young woman is very weak and Dr. Oliver helps her to safety. The rest of the Rangers continue battling Zeltrax and Zeltrax tricks them into destroying a decoy. The rest of the Rangers spot Dr. Oliver with the young woman and race over. Trent recognizes the young woman as Elsa and Elsa confirms that the creature had called her Elsa. The Rangers return to Dr. Oliver's home with Elsa. Elsa rests as the Rangers discuss their next move. Trent tells them his idea. Trent wants to give Mesogog the dino gems and while he is there, he can open the invisiportal and allow the rest of the Rangers in. Trent would then get the dino gems back and rescue his dad. The Rangers are reluctant to give up their dino gems, but realize that they do not have much of a choice. The Rangers give Trent their dino gems and he leaves to put the plan into action. Elsa regains her memory and wishes the Rangers well when they leave. Trent contacts the Rangers and tells them he is ready and enters the invisiportal in his dad's office. In a rock quarry, the Rangers are thrilled with Hayley's latest creation. Conner wants to drive the truck, but Hayley tells him it's important that the truck reach a certain speed before entering the invisiportal and tells them she is going to drive. Meanwhile, Trent enters Mesogog's fortress. Mesogog is impatient for the dino gems, but Trent refuses to give them to him until he sees his dad. Mesogog uses his punishment beam on Trent and Trent is rendered helpless. Mesogog takes the dino gems and uses them to fire up his beam. Back at the rock quarry, the Rangers enter the truck and start racing along. The Rangers and Hayley feel a little uneasy when they do not see the invisiportal. At Mesogog's fortress, Trent manages to pull himself up long enough to hit the button that activates the invisiportal. Trent collapses back onto the floor and Mesogog is furious with him. The invisiportal appears and the Rangers manage to get through. The Rangers are immediately attacked by Tyrannodrones. The Rangers leave the truck and fight the Tyrannodrones. Dr. Oliver tells Hayley to continue. Hayley drives on, when she overhears the Tyrannodrones on the roof of the truck. Hayley contacts the Rangers for help and Conner responds. Conner gets rid of the Tyrannodrones and straightens up the weapon on top of the truck before jumping off. Hayley is successful in firing the weapon and destroying Mesogog's beam. The Rangers return to the truck and contact Trent. Trent is still inside Mesogog's lab and does not want to leave without his father. Dr. Oliver tells the others that no one knows this place better than Trent and they return back to the rock quarry via the invisiportal. At Mesogog's lab, everything is falling apart, as Trent searches for his dad. Trent finds his dad and helps him to his feet. Trent races along, while supporting his dad. At the rock quarry, the invisiportal closes and Kira is especially upset that Trent did not make it through. Ethan tells the group it's not like they are going to fall out of the sky. Kira thinks Ethan is nuts and tells him so. Ethan tells Kira that it worked the last time and suddenly Trent and Dr. Anton Mercer fall out of the sky. Everyone is relieved and happy and races to their side. Dr. Oliver asks about Mesogog. Trent believes Mesogog is destroyed, but just in case, and reveals the dino gem. Anton doesn't know what to say to Tommy and Tommy tells him that they will talk later. Tommy informs the group that they still have Zeltrax to contend with. At Dr. Oliver's home, Elsa is watching the Rangers progress when she is startled by a noise. Elsa turns around and sees Zeltrax. Zeltrax destroys Dr. Oliver's lab and then captures Elsa once more.
