Cassidy Agnes Cornell - Katrina Devine

The anchor/field reporter for Reefside's High School TV station is Cassidy Cornell.  Her camera man and sidekick is Devin.  On the first day of school, she had a lot to keep her occupy.  Cassidy didn't think the new science teacher, Dr. Oliver, looked old enough to be teaching.  When Dr. Oliver asked his science class if they had any questions, Cassidy promptly raised her hand.  She told Dr. Oliver who she was and began questioning him about his age, urging Devin to get the camera rolling.  Dr. Oliver assured them that he was old enough and urged them back to their seats.  That did not stop Cassidy, she continued to look into the background of Dr. Oliver.  She contacted Angel Grove High School, but Dr. Oliver's records were private and she couldn't get any information.  Cassidy was diverted by the mystery of Dr. Oliver, when she spotted three students together.  She grabbed Devin and they hid behind a car.  Cassidy was suspicious of the king of jocks, Conner McKnight, and the king of geeks, Ethan James talking together.  Plus that fact that Kira Ford was with them too.  Cassidy knew something was what - in the three years she had attended Reefside - she had never seen the three exchange a single word.  Kira had walked away from the guys and was captured by strange looking creatures.  Cassidy was excited over this unexpected development and told Devin to get his camera out.  Unfortunately for Cassidy, all Devin had filmed was the sky.

Cassidy was determined to find out about the mysterious goings on.  She ambush Kira in science class.  Cassidy asked Kira about her sudden friendship with Conner and Ethan.  She also wanted to know about the strange creatures that had taken her in the middle of the day.  Kira denied knowing anything - she was fine.  Kira did point out that Cassidy wasn't looking so good.  Kira told Cassidy that she looked kind pasty.  This really distressed Cassidy - she didn't like florescent lighting.   She got ready to repair her face, when Dr. Oliver walked in.  Dr. Oliver told Cassidy to sit down and she did.  Dr. Oliver had just started on his lecture, when the building began to shake and the sky turned black.  Devin raced in very excited.  Cassidy pointed out the black sky to Devin - who had been unaware.  Devin told Cassidy about mechanical dinosaurs in the city.  Cassidy was ready to take off with Devin, but they were stopped by Dr. Oliver.  Principal Randall's voice came over the loudspeakers.  Principal Randall announced that there was to be an early dismissal.  While Dr. Oliver was distracted by the announcement, Cassidy took the opportunity to leave with Devin.

Cassidy kept busy with numerous "stories".  She went to the mall to interview famous pop start, Kylee Styles.  Once done with that, Cassidy was on move for another story.  Cassidy and Devin spotted the Rangers battling a monster, and Cassidy went to interview the monster.  The monster stole Cassidy and Devin's youth.  Not missing a beat, Cassidy and Devin began to take advantage of the senior citizen discounts at various places.  When the monster was destroyed, Cassidy and Devin's youth was restored.

Cassidy had won the role of Guinevere for the Fall Festival.  She immediately went into character, dressing and acting the part of the queen.  Cassidy decided it would be a good idea to go to Hayley's Cyberspace to have the people there, worship her.  Cassidy and Devin found the place closed, but noticed Ethan was still inside.  They went through a back door, but once inside, could not find Ethan.  Instead they wound up in a computer game - wizard wood.  Cassidy was not pleased.  Devin brought up the fact that Guinevere was known for being nice, but of course, Cassidy was taking her in a different direction.  Their time in the computer game was not fun for Cassidy.  Especially when she tripped over her gown and fell into the mud.  They were later transported back to reality and Cassidy had had enough of being queen.  She was dirty and she smelled.  And that was what bother her the must, that she smelled.

Cassidy was at Hayley's Cyberspace, working on her government in action project for school.  She was impatient for her latte and snap her fingers for Trent.  Devin tried to tell her that waiters don't like finger snapping, but Cassidy wouldn't hear him out.  Trent arrived with her latte and she explained how her project was making her parched.  Trent didn't appear to be listening.  Cassidy went back to work on her laptop and got a shock.  Every time she pressed a key on her laptop, it screamed.  Cassidy was bewildered and didn't know what to do.  Devin couldn't help her out.  The screaming made her so jumpy, she ended up snapping the laptop shut.  The following day, she overhead Dr. Oliver, Ethan and Trent talking.  They were talking about going to city hall.  Cassidy thought city hall would be a great place for her project and dragged Devin along.  Cassidy and Devin arrived and spotted councilwoman Sanchez with Dr. Oliver, Ethan, and Trent.  Cassidy tried to flagged councilwoman Sanchez down, but she didn't hear her.  Cassidy and Devin turned around to find Zeltrax and a golden creature attacking the group.  Cassidy and Devin went flying and hit the ground.  This only confirm why Cassidy didn't like politics.

Cassidy's science class was going on a field trip.  Cassidy asked Dr. Oliver if she and Devin could film the project, Dr. Oliver told her yes.  At the site, Cassidy noticed Principal Randall and Dr. Oliver together.  Cassidy told Devin that she thought Principal Randall had a thing for Dr. Oliver.  Devin didn't think so.  But Cassidy was convinced that love was in the air and that Devin couldn't see it.  She thought it would make a great item for the gossip column and had already thought of a caption - Randall Scandal.  During the field trip, the site was attacked by Tyrannodrones.  Devin wanted to leave, but Cassidy made sure he stayed put.  This was great material for her show and they stayed and filmed the battle.  The following day, Cassidy prepared herself for her television show.  She began her program with the startling comment that Reefside had a superhero working in the school.  Cassidy continued to talk about Principal Randall's heroic battle against the prehistoric creatures.  Unfortunately, the wrong video was played and there was no video proof to back up her statements.  Cassidy ended the broadcast abruptly and gave Devin a glare.

Cassidy and Devin were at Hayley's Cyberspace.  Cassidy wanted a fresh story, something big.  Devin's suggestion of a woman who had grown a large pumpkin was not what she was looking for.  Cassidy's mouth dropped open when Nikki Valentina walked in.  Cassidy excitedly told Devin (whose back was toward Nikki) that the star from Ocean Alert was here.  Here was the story she wanted.  Cassidy quickly walked up to Nikki and introduced herself.  She told Nikki that she was a big fan and that she wanted to be on television as a new anchor.  Cassidy thought it would be a great idea if she appeared on Ocean Alert.  Nikki did not.  Nikki told Cassidy to find another dream and walked off.  One of Nikki's assistants handed Cassidy an autographed picture of Nikki.  Cassidy couldn't believe how rude Nikki had been and decided then and there that she was going to show her.  Cassidy and Devin headed to the beach.  Cassidy decided she was going to do her own version of Ocean Alert.  With the camera recording, Cassidy "rescue" Devin.  But Cassidy wasn't pleased with the shot - she wanted Devin to try harder at drowning himself.  Devin raced off to do her bidding.  Cassidy talked to the camera before doing another scene.  Later, Devin went behind the camera as Cassidy "rescued" a mannequin.  No one had noticed her performance as Devin had just saved Nikki from Megalador.  Cassidy listened in disbelief as Nikki told Devin she was only interested in marrying a rock star and having more houses than J. Lo.  Even Cassidy was not that shallow.  Not that anyone was listening as Nikki, with Devin close behind, walked away.  Cassidy was not happy when she realized she still was holding on to the mannequin.  The following day, Cassidy was once again at the beach.  Nikki had given Devin a part on Ocean Alert.  Cassidy watched and declared that she did not like Nikki, not one single bit.  The final humiliation for her was when she was asked to leave the set because she was distracting the actors.  Cassidy told the person she was with the press, but she was still escorted off.  Even her plea to Conner, Kira, and Ethan, didn't help her any.

Cassidy and Devin went to a news broadcasting building.  Cassidy felt confident that they could get positions as anchors there.  Devin wasn't so sure, he thought they needed more experience.  Cassidy knew that TV was about hair, makeup and clothes, all of which she had down.  They entered the building and managed to a get a meeting with Mr. Cormier - the head of the news place.  Cassidy told him that they were bored with their high school television and wanted to work right away for him.  Mr. Cormier told them that they needed more experience.  Cassidy didn't want to let this opportunity to pass.  She spotted all the clippings about the Power Rangers on the wall and it gave her a moment of inspiration.  Cassidy promised Mr. Cormier an exclusive - the identity of a Power Ranger.  Mr. Cormier had several of best reporters on the same story and nothing had come up.  Mr. Cormier decided to give Cassidy a chance.  Mr. Cormier told Cassidy that if she could give him the identity of a Power Ranger - she would get the six o'clock spot.  Cassidy could barely contain her excitement and told Mr. Cormier that he won't be disappointed.  She family skipped out of the building with Devin.  Devin tried to tell her that it would be hard to find the identity of a Power Ranger, but Cassidy wasn't listening.  Right over Devin's shoulder, she spotted a White Ranger stumbling around.  Cassidy and Devin took off after the Ranger.  Cassidy ran into Trent and began to badger him with questions.  She couldn't believe it when Trent said he hadn't seen any Ranger.  The Ranger had just gone past.  Exasperated, Cassidy left Trent, but she was upset.  Apparently the White Ranger was gone.

Cassidy excitedly entered Hayley's Cyberspace.  She had something that would guarantee her name on all the networks.  Cassidy had just completed a deal with a grammar school kid for footage of the White Ranger.  She spotted Devin and quickly grabbed him.  Cassidy filled him in as she prepared to show him the footage.  Devin was more cautious about it.  Cassidy was outrage when instead of the White Ranger, she was looking at footage of a kid in a White Ranger costume.  To make matters worse, the kid remove his helmet and called her a sucker.  Cassidy was fuming as she left Cyberspace.  She would make that kid regret that he ever met her.  Devin was right at her heels.  Cassidy soon located the kid and was determined to teach him a lesson.  The kid tricked her and took off running.  But Cassidy wasn't going to give up and she and Devin went chasing over the kids.  They had them backed into a block off alleyway.  Cassidy demanded her money back.  The kid told Cassidy he had already spent the money.  The kid promised that if she let him go, he would return with footage of the White Ranger.  Cassidy was skeptical throughout the conversation.  The kid went into a speech about the youth of America and Cassidy reluctantly let him go.  The kid gave her a quick hug before he took off with his friends.  At 6:00, Cassidy and Devin returned to the alleyway.  The kid was there and Cassidy demanded that she get what was coming to her.  To her utter dismay, the kid and his friends pelted Cassidy and Devin with garbage.

Cassidy and Devin escaped the kids.  Strong winds were blowing through the city and people were panicking.  More debris clung to Cassidy and Devin.  Cassidy and Devin tried to leave.  Cassidy wanted to go one way, Devin the other.  They were separated by the crowds.  Cassidy managed to find her way to Hayley's Cyberspace.  Hayley walked over - concerned for Cassidy.  Cassidy was surprised that other people had been attacked as well.  As far as she was concerned they were monsters and something should be done.  Having their parents ground them would be a start.  Hayley looked a little confused over Cassidy's comment and offered her a drink.  Cassidy accepted.  Hayley walked away and Devin entered.  Devin was surprised to see that Cassidy was okay.  But as far as Cassidy was concern, she was not okay.  She didn't look okay and she didn't smell okay.  Cassidy asked Devin where he had been, Devin kept repeating the same thing, until Cassidy got tired of hearing it.  She was upset over her continual failure to get the White Ranger on tape.  Devin told her that they will just have to keep on trying. Later, she returned home to wash and change.  Cassidy returned to Cyberspace.  She had a lot of homework to catch up on.  As she worked, Devin came up.  Devin had some news for Cassidy.  Cassidy spare him a glance and told him that his shirt didn't match his pants.  Devin didn't care, he had some exciting news for Cassidy.  Cassidy wasn't paying much attention, until Devin said the magic words - White Ranger.  Cassidy immediately forgot about her homework as she link her arm with Devin.  Devin told her how he had found the White Ranger in the alleyway and film him.  Cassidy wanted to know who the White Ranger was.  Devin didn't know, he had hit his head and blacked out.  But the camera should have recorded it.  Cassidy couldn't wait to see the footage, but Devin had forgotten the camera at his house.  Cassidy was furious.

Cassidy was very excited and burst through the doors of Hayley's Cyberspace.  She headed straight for the stage and told the people as she passed that she had an exciting announcement.  Cassidy reached the stage and announce that she had the White Ranger's identity.  She told the stunned crowd that she had video tape evidence of the identity of the White Ranger on Devin's camera.  Cassidy waited anxiously for Devin to show up.  Devin raced into Cyberspace and headed straight for the stage.  Cassidy immediately wanted to know where his camera was.  Devin explained that his sister really needed it and he had given it to her.  Cassidy wanted to know why Devin didn't look at the tape before he gave the camera to his sister.  Devin simply hadn't thought of it.  Cassidy wanted that camera and told Devin that she didn't care if he had to pry it from his sister, get the camera.  She turned to the microphone with a weak smile and told the crowd that they would have to wait, since Devin loaned his sister the camera.  Devin took off and Cassidy waited for him to return.  Later, Devin returned with the camera.  Cassidy immediately took hold of it, but Devin wanted to rewind it first.  Cassidy passed the camera back and went onto the stage.  She was excited to break the news and wondered what she should wear when she picked up Pulitzer prize.  But her announcement wasn't going to happened.  Devin said an "oh oh" and Cassidy wanted to know what was wrong.  She took one look at the screen of the camera and was immediately repulsed.  Devin's sister was having a baby and she had filmed the birth - right over the footage of the White Ranger's identity.  Cassidy didn't not like what she was seeing.  Devin tried to explain to her the beauty of birth, but the film had been too much for Cassidy.  She passed out onto the stage's floor.

Cassidy regretted wearing high heels as she walked in the forest.  She didn't realize that being a field reporter meant being the field.  Cassidy grumbled to Devin as they trekked through the forest.  Devin wanted to know why they were in the forest.  Brightly, Cassidy told him that she had been doing some research.  Apparently every evil anti-hero hides out in a cave or secluded area away from the city.  Cassidy felt confident that they would find the White Ranger in the forest.  She would get an exclusive interview.  That happy thought kept Cassidy pushing on.  Cassidy stopped Devin as she thought she had heard a noise.  She called out to the White Ranger, but was disappointed when it was only Trent.  Trent couldn't believe that they thought he was the White Ranger and teased them about it.  Sputtering, Cassidy tried to explain that they knew he wasn't the White Ranger, they just thought they had found the White Ranger.  Her explanation was cut short as Trent yelled at them to get down.  Cassidy and Devin were knocked off their feet as an object came hurtling past them.  The object came crashing down, not far from where they had been standing.  Cassidy and Devin got up and brushed themselves off.  Cassidy was eager to investigate what had gone over their heads.  Trent tried to warn them that it might be dangerous.  Cassidy replied that danger was her middle name.  As they got closer to the object, Cassidy pushed Devin closer to get a better shot.  Cassidy didn't know what the glowing rock was and neither did Devin.  Kira, Conner, and Ethan appeared.  It was obvious Conner and Ethan were not happy to see Trent.  Trent had followed Cassidy and Devin to the rock.  Cassidy exchanged confused look with Devin at Trent, Conner, and Ethan's unfriendly conversation.  Tyrannodrones and Rojobot appeared.  Cassidy and Devin quickly got into a hiding spot.  Devin asked Cassidy if she wanted him to film.  But hideous mutants were not news in this town, so Cassidy told him no and they made a quick getaway.  Unaware they were both hit with the purplish vapors coming off the rock.  The following day, Cassidy had a bad breakout of acne.  She styled her hair in an unflattering style and dressed herself down.  Cassidy eagerly tracked Devin down and was very excited to see him.  She asked Devin if he would get a soda with her and was thrilled when he put his arm around her and said yes.  A crowd followed them to Hayley's Cyberspace.  Cassidy asked Devin when he was going to find the White Ranger and he replied when he finished dancing.  Devin got up on the stage and began to stage.  Proudly Cassidy watched him along with the rest of the crowd.  Eventually Devin got off the stage and began dancing with her.  Cassidy was very excited until she tripped.  Devin led her to the couch and asked if she was okay.  Cassidy replied that she was.  Cassidy decided that now was the time to tell Devin how she felt.  Cassidy told Devin that they had been friends for a long time and that it was obvious that there were feelings between the two of them.  Devin agreed.  Cassidy leaned close for a kiss and Devin leaned in as well.  Just before the kiss occurred, a purple zap appeared between the two of them.  Cassidy suddenly came to her senses and demanded to know what Devin was doing.  More importantly what was he wearing.  Cassidy stood up quickly and suddenly realized what a mess she looked and shrieked in despair.

Cassidy was in her science class.  The room was buzzing as to who would be their substitute teacher.  Cassidy was thrilled to tell everyone that she had heard from a very reliable source that it was an eighty-year woman that had formerly taught kindergarten.  Principal Randall walked in and Cassidy quickly found her seat.  Principal Randall announced that Dr. Anton Mercer had graciously taken the position of teaching the science class until Dr. Oliver returned.  Kira whispered to Cassidy that the teacher look pretty good for eighty years old.  Devin laughed and Cassidy got annoyed with him.  Dr. Mercer passed out permission forms for a field trip to the dinosaur museum for the following day.  Cassidy accompanied her science class to the field trip.  She noticed that Kira had broken off from the group and followed her.  She asked Kira what she was doing and Kira told her that she was going to the bathroom.  Cassidy wanted to go as well - her lip gloss had to be repaired.  Kira try to discourage her by telling her that she would get them both in trouble.  But Cassidy did not care, Kira could do what she wanted, she was heading to the bathroom.  She walked off and was soon stopped by Dr. Mercer.  Dr. Mercer didn't want her missing any of the interesting artifacts in the museum.  Cassidy tried to sputter that Kira had left the group as well, but Dr. Mercer didn't give her a chance as he directed her back to the group.

Cassidy was back at school, when she noticed some commotion outside.  She grabbed Devin and headed outside, along with several other students.  Cassidy and Devin hid behind some bushes, as they watched Ethan and Termitetron.  The Yellow Power Ranger appeared, and Cassidy though this was the perfect moment for an interview.  She hurried Devin along and tried several times to interview the Yellow Ranger while the Ranger was battling Termitetron.  The Blue Power Ranger appeared, and Cassidy tried to interview him.  But since both Rangers were still battling Termitetron, she wasn't having any luck.  Later, in the day, Cassidy spotted Ethan.  The school had been buzzing about the after school fight between Ethan and Derrick.  Cassidy asked Ethan if he could please fall forward for her camera - it would be great for him.  This time, Devin dragged her away.  After school, Cassidy gathered with the other kids to watch the fight.  Instead Ethan showed Derrick how to improve his kick and no fight occurred.

Cassidy and Devin were at Hayley's Cyberspace.  She overheard Kira telling Ethan and Conner about her internship at Channel 3.  Cassidy was upset, that should have been her internship.  She was the one who belonged on TV and she told this all to Devin.  Frustrated, Cassidy called the internship stupid before leaving Hayley's.  Later, she found Devin in the city sitting by himself.  Devin looked more awful than usual, and Cassidy told him.  Cassidy was stunned when Devin let slip he had the other internship at Channel 3.  Cassidy felt betrayal, Devin had her internship.  Devin stopped her before she could get started and told her that it was not the glamour job it appeared.  As Cassidy listen to Devin's woes, she felt a bit better.  She really hadn't missed out on anything.  Her smug expression changed, when Devin started talking about the Yellow Ranger appearing, Marty the Mackerel being taken, and Funky Fisherman being trapped in a TV.  Cassidy wanted to know if Devin had this on tape.  Devin told her he was sure it was on the surveillance tapes.  Cassidy pulled Devin to his feet - they had to get those tapes.  Before they got very far, they were captured by Mad Mackerel and turned into fish bait.  The Power Rangers defeated Mad Mackerel and the citizens of Reefside were returned to normal.  Cassidy was upset - she smelled like fish.

Cassidy and Devin walked into Hayley's Cyberspace.  Cassidy was going over her schedule with Devin.  She had the school council meeting, the yearbook committee, and square dancing.  She wondered why she had taken square dancing and Devin reminded her that Cassidy had thought she would look cute in one of the pouf shirks.  Cassidy remembered and they sat down.  Devin thought Cassidy would need to clone herself to get everything done.  But Cassidy knew there could never be more than one Cassidy Cornell.  Later, Cassidy left the square dance in her new outfit.  She was knocked down by Copyotter.  Cassidy got up and told the monster off.  Even though it was a hideous monster, there was no reason for rudeness.  Copyotter proceeded to make three copies of Cassidy.  All the Cassidys look at each other.  Delighted with each other's hair and outfit.  Then they set off for the busy day they had.  The four Cassidys drove Devin crazy.  Cassidy was at Cyberspace, when Devin found her.  Devin was surprised to see her there with all that she had to do.  Cassidy told Devin she had everything covered and asked if he would get her organizer.  Another Cassidy run into Devin as he was leaving.  This Cassidy told Devin she needed the country music mix.   Yet another Cassidy was sitting on Devin's scooter listening to the country music mix.  Cassidy told Devin she was parched and headed for Cyberspace, while another Cassidy wave to him from the background.  The four Cassidys surrounded Devin outside Cyberspace.  They felt they might have to fired Devin because he wasn't able to keep up with them.  Devin thought one Cassidy was enough work, but four was too much.  Cassidy wasn't sure she like what she was hearing.  Devin walked away and three Cassidys vanished when the Power Rangers destroyed Copyotter.  Cassidy walked up to Devin and asked him if he needed a hug. 

Cassidy and Devin entered Hayley's Cyberspace.  She wanted to interview the new exchange student, Alexi Poporof.  Cassidy had Devin along to tape the interview.  She ambush Alexi as he was trying to leave and asked him several questions.  Alexi looked puzzled and simply told her he could not talk and left.  Cassidy couldn't understand why anyone wouldn't want to be interview by her.

Cassidy walked up to Kira and could see that she was upset.  Cassidy told Kira that she looked bummed and was she upset because she was not the next Hilary Duff.  Kira told Cassidy that not even her could ruin her day.  Cassidy wanted to know why and Kira launched into her news of a music manager.  But Cassidy wasn't listening.  She wanted the computer that Kira had been on and asked her if she was done.  Kira told her that she was.  Cassidy shoo Kira away as she intently stare at the screen.  Cassidy was so involved in the computer that she did not realize that Hayley's Cyberspace was close.  Hayley walked up to her to tell her so.  Cassidy deliberately cover the screen with her back as she noticed Hayley trying to look at what she was doing.  Cassidy didn't feel any need to tell Hayley what she was doing and told her so.  Cassidy was busy pursuing the internet looking for a soul mate.  She managed to hook up with a guy.  Cassidy and the guy were to met where Kira would be making her new music video.  Cassidy told the guy to look for a girl with a pink hat and matching jacket.  Cassidy put on a huge smile when the guy behind her ask if she was dream girl.  Cassidy stood up and turn around.  She was startled to see that the guy was Ethan.  Cassidy and Ethan proceeded with their date and Cassidy enjoyed herself.

Cassidy and Ethan continued their friendship by hanging out together.  Cassidy was surprised when Kira took her to Mr. Cormier's office for an interview for the position of a news reporter.  Cassidy tried to talk to Mr. Cormier, but Kira took over.  Cassidy couldn't believe it when Mr. Cormier gave her her first assignment - covering a sheep farm/petting zoo.  Cassidy was already protesting when Kira told Mr. Cormier that she would do the job.  Cassidy and Devin went to the sheep farm/petting zoo.  Cassidy did her best to report the news, but ended up falling into the mud.  Exasperated Cassidy told Devin to stop filming.  Cassidy and Devin headed back to Channel 3's television station.  Cassidy had had it with reporting, until Devin pointed out the enormous mechanical mutation virus - Jupitor.  Cassidy quickly had Devin start filming and she began reporting on her big story.  She was thrilled as they taped footage of the Rangers battling Jupitor.  Afterwards even Devin was confident that they had great footage.  Cassidy could barely contain herself, she had gotten a great story.  After Cassidy clean herself up, she prepared herself for her first broadcast.  Cassidy was nervous, but she gave a glowing report on the Power Rangers.  When she was done, Mr. Cormier told her that he was impressed and that she might have a career after all.  After Mr. Cormier left, Devin walked up to Cassidy.  Cassidy told Devin that she was nervous but she believe that she had covered all the points.  She started talking to Devin about their next story being more dark and mysterious when she noticed Kira.  Kira, Conner, and Ethan had watched her in the studio.  Kira was about to leave, when Cassidy asked her to wait.  Cassidy thanked Kira for helping her get the job and gave her a quick peek on the cheek.  Cassidy was glad that was over with as she quickly walked away.

Cassidy, Devin, Kira, Trent, Conner, Ethan, and the rest of their class were being given a tour of Egyptian artifacts.  Mrs. Porter told the class that the kings and queens of Egypt were a washed in treasures.  Looking around, Kira asked Cassidy if she could imagine living in so a time.  Cassidy replied that Egyptians valued style and class above all else.  As far as she was concern, she would have fit in perfect.  Later, Cassidy was headed for a pedicure and Devin was walking along with her.  They were stopped by Pharaoh Tutenhawken.  Cassidy asked Tutenhawken what he wanted and told him not to hurt them.  Tutenhawken was dazzled by Cassidy's beauty and told her so.  Tutenhawken wanted Cassidy to come with him, but Cassidy had a pedicure appointment.  Tutenhawken told Cassidy that he would shower her with riches.  Cassidy told him to go on and eventually decided to be Tutenhawken's queen - although Devin protested throughout the exchange.  Cassidy began to style herself after Cleopatra.  Devin followed her lead and fashioned himself as a lowly servant.  Cassidy entered Hayley's Cyberspace and Kira asked her if it wasn't early for Halloween.  Cassidy told them that they were to refer to her as Queen Cassipatra.  Cassidy couldn't believe she used to live like the lowly peasants she saw around her.  Devin cleaned off her chair before she sat down.  Ethan walked over, and Cassidy wrinkled up her nose.  She told Ethan that he stinked to high heaven and called him a peasant.  Ethan asked her if she had lost it.  Cassidy told him that in fact, she had found it.  She had found a guy that appreciate her and displayed all the gold and jewels he had bestowed on her.  Ethan told her that everyone had told him that she was shallow, but he had told them they were wrong.  Ethan told her that he guess that he had been the one wrong.  Cassidy didn't care as Ethan walked away.  Later, Cassidy sat on a throne beside Tutenhawken.  Devin was waiting on them.  Cassidy was surprised when Tutenhawken began talking about destroying the protectors of the city.  Cassidy told him that would be the Power Rangers and he had never mention destroying anyone.  Cassidy wasn't sure she liked that idea.  Tutenhawken then kicked Devin to the ground and called him a lowly servant.  Cassidy was outraged.  She told Tutenhawken that he may be lowly, but he wouldn't hurt a fly.  Cassidy had had enough.  She pulled Devin to his feet and told Tutenhawken she quit being his queen.  Cassidy yank her wig off and with a firm grip on grinning Devin, walked out.  Back to being Cassidy, the first thing she did was entered Cyberspace.  She walked up to Ethan and asked if they could talk privately.  Ethan told her yes, but to make it quick because he was busy.  Cassidy and Ethan sat on a couch and Cassidy told him that she realized that she had treated him badly.  Cassidy tried to apologized, but couldn't get the words out.  Ethan realized that she was trying to apologize and told her so.  Cassidy grin and told him that he wasn't making it any easier on her.  Ethan had no intention of making it easy, she had a lot of apologizing to do.  They both grinned at each other.  Devin walked in and handed her books.  Devin told Cassidy that he had returned her videos and picked up her dry cleaning.  Devin offered to get her a latte and Cassidy continued to smile.

Cassidy was making plans with Ethan, when Devin interrupted.  Devin quickly told Cassidy he would be waiting somewhere else and walked away.  Cassidy and Ethan began walking, heading towards the high school building.  They were planning a picnic.  Cassidy thought they should start out with some cheese appetizers and then a trout, but Ethan wanted to take care of all the details.  Cassidy was impressed and told him so.  She then joined Devin who had been waiting for her.  Devin accidentally knocked Cassidy's books on the ground.  As Devin went to pick them up, he berated himself as being all thumbs.  Cassidy told him that she didn't want to hear Devin talk about himself like that.  Devin was happy to hear Cassidy say that.  Devin told Cassidy that he thought Cassidy hanging out with Ethan had made her nice.  Cassidy didn't like the sound of that.  She was a reporter and she didn't believe a reporter could be nice.  After school, Cassidy headed for the picnic.  She arrived first and spent some time waiting for Ethan to show up.  Ethan finally did, apologizing, and telling her it was traffic.  Cassidy was impressed with all the effort that Ethan had put together for her.  She told him that he didn't have to go through so much trouble, but that she was glad that he had done so.  They set up the picnic and then sat together.  Cassidy thought it was a perfect day for a picnic and asked Ethan if he enjoyed being out in all the fresh air.  Ethan told Cassidy that he didn't really know.  Ethan explained that he spent most of his time indoors gaming.  Cassidy didn't know what gaming was and asked Ethan.  Ethan launched into an detailed explanation of gaming, that left Cassidy a little confused.  Ethan noticed the look of her face and told her she probably didn't want to hear all that.  Cassidy tried to cover, by telling Ethan that she had found it interesting.  She told Ethan that she was covering the big game this weekend and if he was going to be there.  Ethan told her he really didn't like basketball, and Cassidy corrected him telling him it was football.  They sat silent for a moment as the date began to sputter.  Ethan asked she wanted some sparkling cider and then poured it all over her sweater.  Cassidy told him not to worry, although the sweater was cashmere.  Ethan told Cassidy that the date was a disaster.  Cassidy, trying to ease the situation, told Ethan that it was a disaster, just a series of unfortunate accidents.  The date began to pick up when Cassidy noticed the candles had lit themselves.  She was charmed and asked Ethan how he had done that.  Ethan told her it was trick candles.  Ethan then gave her some flowers.  Cassidy thought the flowers were pretty and told Ethan he was full of surprises.  One of Cassidy's favorite songs came on the radio, and Ethan asked her to dance.  Cassidy and Ethan started to dance.  The dance ended quickly as they were soon surrounded by several Tyrannodrones.  Ethan told Cassidy to run, and she didn't hesitated.  Later, Cassidy found Ethan at Hayley's Cyberspace.  She wanted to talk to him and he felt the same way.  Cassidy went first and told Ethan that she thought he was a great guy, but that she was a reporter, always on call.  Cassidy explained that she simply didn't have time for a personal relationship.  She hoped that she hadn't hurt Ethan.  Ethan was okay with this information and only asked is she had time to be friends.  Cassidy smile and told him that of course they could still be friends.

Cassidy was called into Mr. Cormier's office.  Devin went as well.  Mr. Cormier told Cassidy that his favorite reporter was out.  Mr. Cormier needed a reporter to cover the monster attack and he needed Power Ranger footage.  Cassidy was very excited and couldn't believe Mr. Cormier had chosen her.  Devin cautioned her to not act to surprise.  Mr. Cormier referred to Devin as "Donald" several times, although Cassidy corrected him.  Cassidy and Devin left for their assignment.  They found Conner, Kira, Ethan, and Trent.  Cassidy noted that they looked a mess and asked them what had happened.  Kira told Cassidy that there had been a giant mutant attack.  Cassidy asked if the Power Rangers showed up and was very surprised when they replied that the Rangers never appeared.  Cassidy glanced at Devin, not quite buying the explanation Kira had of the Rangers washing their suits.  Cassidy and Devin returned to Mr. Cormier's office.  Cassidy was concerned that Mr. Cormier would be upset because they didn't get any Ranger footage.  Far from upset, Mr. Cormier was delighted.  Mr. Cormier wanted Cassidy to do a story on the Power Rangers abandoning Reefside.  Mr. Cormier told Cassidy she had the six o'clock spot and not to mess up.  Cassidy was elated.  Devin told her that they shouldn't do the story, they didn't have all the facts.  Cassidy didn't care, she had the six o'clock spot.  Devin told Cassidy that if she did the report, she would have to do it without him and walked out.  Cassidy's mouth dropped open as she watched Devin walked out.  Cassidy was ready for her six o'clock report.  She began with announcing that the Power Rangers had not appeared.  Cassidy made several glances over to Devin - who was watching with a disapproving look on his face.  Cassidy quickly modified her story to announced that she had the utmost faith in the Rangers' return.  She smiled and took a quick glance to see Devin's approval.

Cassidy and Devin walked along the Reefside High School grounds.  Cassidy was excited about her newest story.  The students were holding a protest to save a tree from being cut down.  Cassidy didn't care too much about the cause.  Krista, the leader of the protest, walked in front of her.  Cassidy told Krista to move that she was in her light.  Krista told Cassidy that she didn't have time for poser.  Cassidy told Krista that she would take her publicity elsewhere and called for Devin.  But Devin was strapped to the tree as a symbol of his bound with nature.  Exasperated, Cassidy left.  Later, she was at Hayley's Cyberspace when Devin walked in.  Devin asked her where the Power Rangers were, that he needed to talk to them.  Cassidy didn't know where the Power Rangers were and she knew that Devin knew that as well.  Devin explained that the freak Zeltrax had attacked him.  Cassidy didn't seem to concern and started to head out.  Devin told her that it got worse, Zeltrax had taken the tree.

Cassidy was sitting in her science class, not really paying attention to Dr. Oliver's lecture on volcanoes.  Before class was dismissed, Dr. Oliver made two announcements.  One that Ethan James would be competing in the Detonation Man Video Game competition at Hayley's Cyberspace and the other being that there would be a sub tomorrow - an expert on volcanoes.  Dr. Oliver dismissed the class, and Cassidy caught up to Devin in the halls.  She told Devin that they had a lot to do today and had he seen the to do list.  Cassidy was stunned when Devin told her that he wouldn't be able to do the to do list today.  Cassidy wouldn't accept that.  She told Devin that they do everything together, that they were Cassidy and Devin.  She had him repeat the words.  Devin told her that she was just going to have to do the to do list on her own before he left.  Cassidy was stunned and bewildered on being left on her own.  The following day, things went downhill for Cassidy.  She entered the science class twenty minutes late.  Dr. Morton, the sub, had stopped her and she tried to explain what had happened.  Cassidy told the sub, and made sure it was loud enough that Devin could hear, that she didn't have her hair products and that her clothes were still at the dry cleaners so that she had to wear last year's clothes.  Dr. Morton was not sympathetic and Cassidy quickly took her seat.  Devin ignored her throughout the class.  After school, Cassidy wandered through the city.  She didn't know whether she was suppose to be in cheerleading or drama.  The ground began to shake and Cassidy simply sat down.  She screamed that she needed Devin and didn't care that volcanic ash was covering the city and her.  Later, Cassidy found out that Devin had been practicing for the Detonation Man competition.  In a worse mess than ever, Cassidy stormed into Cyberspace and yelled at Devin.  She couldn't believe that he had ruined her life over a video game.  Cassidy couldn't get close to Devin because of the admiring crowd surrounding him.  Cassidy soon realized that she was stuck in the crowd with no escape.

Cassidy heard that Dr. Mercer had won an award.  She decided Dr. Mercer would be her next interview.  Devin followed Cassidy to Dr. Mercer's greenhouse.  Cassidy swept into the greenhouse and found Dr. Mercer and Trent.  Cassidy introduced herself to Dr. Mercer - temporarily forgetting that she had been in Dr. Mercer's class and he knew who she was.  Cassidy began the interview, questioning Dr. Mercer on the Greenleaf award.  Dr. Mercer told her it would be award enough if he can get the plants to survive in any climate.  Devin immediately saw the possibilities of people everywhere being able to grow their own crops.  Dr. Mercer acknowledged Devin before going into another area of the Greenhouse.  Cassidy and Devin were quick on his heels.  Cassidy asked Dr. Mercer if they were seeing a kinder, gentler, Anton Mercer.  Before Dr. Mercer could reply, Trent defensively told Cassidy that his dad has always worked towards the benefit of mankind.  Cassidy then asked Dr. Mercer if he had any failures.  Dr. Mercer told her that like all scientists, he has had his fair share of failures.  Dr. Mercer didn't look to good and turned away from Cassidy and Devin.  Trent told them they had to go as his father had a lot of work to do.  Cassidy was angry, she wanted to finish the interview.  Trent told her another time before he took her and Devin outside.

Cassidy and Devin were walking at the Reefside Nationals Motocross.  Cassidy was after an interview with Blake Bradley.  Devin asked her why they were here.  Cassidy replied that Mr. Cormier wanted edgier stories and mototoss was as edgier as it got.  Devin corrected her, but Cassidy didn't pay any attention.  She confidently walked up to the man in charge of admitting people in and showed him her press pass.  Cassidy mentioned that she was on the Reefside News, but since her name wasn't on the list, she couldn't go it.  Cassidy noticed Kira, Conner, and Ethan on the other side and asked how they got in.  The guy replied with a grin, that they were on the list.

The following day, Cassidy and Devin returned to the Motocross Nationals.  Cassidy was going over the various passes she had to Devin.  She also made sure she had her hair spray.  Cassidy felt she was ready to interview Blake Bradley.  As they walked along, Cassidy noticed two young women walking the other way.  Cassidy stopped Devin and asked him if he had seen the one young woman.  She told Devin that the young woman was stunning, but she was much prettier.

Cassidy walked into Hayley's Cyberspace dressed as a super hero.  Devin walked up behind her.  Devin asked her what they were doing.  Cassidy told Devin this was an undercover assignment.  They were to report on the comic book fandom.  She also pointed out that the rest of the freaks were dressed as they were.  Devin told Cassidy that his tights were cutting off his circulation.  Cassidy tried to not look at him.  Cassidy was very surprised to see Principal Randall at the front of the line talking to Carson Brady - who was a cartoon artist signing autographs.  Cassidy wanted to know when Principal Randall became a fan of comic books.  Devin suggested that maybe Principal Randall was a she-devil in disguise.  Cassidy told him that he had been reading too many comic books.  Another day, Cassidy, still dressed as a super hero, walked into Cyberspace.  Devin followed and wanted to know when the assignment was over.  But Cassidy was enjoying being a super hero and told Devin that she was suited to the life.  Cassidy laughed in the face of danger.  Then she stopped, realizing that she needed a name.  Kira and Conner both made suggestions that she rejected.  Cassidy came up with Fantasa Girl.  A young man burst into Cyberspace and told everyone that his bike was stolen.  Devin grabbed Cassidy and told her it was a job for Fantasa Girl and Devin.  Cassidy decided she didn't want to be a superhero anymore, but Devin continued to pull her along until they were outside.

Cassidy was sitting outside the school grounds.  Close by were Ethan and Devin playing the card game "Dragon War".  Kira was also sitting close by.  Cassidy could overhear the two guys playing.  She told them that she thought the game was lame.  For once, Kira agreed for her.  Ethan told them that they couldn't understand unless they had played "Dragon War" to it's full potential.  Devin replied that it require intelligence and strategic planning.  Cassidy told them that must be why her six-year old brother was so into it.  Principal Randall walked up to the pair and confiscate their cards.  Later, Cassidy sat in science class listening to Dr. Oliver's lecture.  It was during this class that Dr. Oliver learned that Ethan's and Devin's "Dragon War" cards had been confiscate and Dr. Oliver had told them he would see what he could do about getting them back.  At the end of the school day, Cassidy walked out of school with Devin.  They both stopped in their tracks when they saw Dr. Oliver and Principal Randall fighting on the school grounds.  Cassidy told Devin to get the film running.  She already had a tag line - Principal and Teacher at War Over "Dragon War".  Cassidy was stunned when Principal Randall transform to Elsa.  Devin took off running and Cassidy went after him.

Cassidy was sitting at a table at Hayley's Cyberspace.  She was waiting on Devin.  Devin came in and she said hi to him.  Devin sat across from Cassidy.  Cassidy told Devin that they needed to talk.  She then noticed that Devin had brought flowers and a box of chocolates with him.  Cassidy asked him what all the stuff was and then told him never mind.  Devin told Cassidy that he needed to talk to her, and she said fine, but that she wanted to go first.  Cassidy had just come back from Mr. Cormier's office and he told Cassidy that they needed to find the identity of the Power Rangers.  Devin told Cassidy that was old news.  Cassidy replied that if they don't find out the identity of the Power Rangers by the end of the week, they're fired.  Devin was stunned and repeated fire.  Cassidy could see she now had Devin's attention.  She told him that they could not involve themselves in any after school activity, all their efforts had to be concentrated on finding out who the Power Rangers are.  Devin asked her if that included the prom.  Cassidy confirmed that most definitely included the prom.  Cassidy then asked Devin what he wanted to talk about.  Devin told her never mind and offered her a piece of chocolate from the heart shaped box.

Cassidy entered Hayley's Cyberspace and sat at the table Devin was sitting at.  Devin had contacted her earlier and ask if she could met him at Cyberspace.  She noticed the amused look on Devin's face.  Her hair was mess.  Cassidy told him that his hair would like a mess too, if he had pulling his hair out thinking about the Power Rangers.  Devin told her that she wouldn't have to lose another lock of hair.  Devin had a tape in his hand and told her he had something to show her, but first he had to ask her something important.  Devin showed Cassidy the tape and the tape revealed the identities of the Power Rangers.  Cassidy was stimulatingly stunned and very excited.  Devin took Cassidy to the steel plant, where he had earlier filmed the Power Rangers and as luck would have it, the Rangers were there once more.  Quietly, Devin film and Cassidy watched as the Rangers and Mesogog faced off.  Dr. O had told Elsa she should probably step aside and she walk quickly away and discovered Devin and Cassidy.  Cassidy watch intensely as Conner, Kira, Dr. O, Ethan, and Trent morphed into Power Rangers.  Mesogog had mutated into Mesomonster and the battle was intense.  Cassidy kept a cool head and directed Devin on different shots he should take.  Eventually, summoning all the power of the dino gems, the Rangers destroyed the four Mesomonsters (Mesomonster had began to replicate) with a fiery T-Rex.  Afterwards, the Rangers had powered down.  Cassidy was thrilled and she walked towards them, Devin and Elsa following her.  Cassidy called them Rangers and Conner told her that he guessed she knew their secret.  Devin told them that he had already knew, he just had to show her.  Cassidy was thrilled and gave Devin a hug.  She gleefully held the tape in her hand and told them that she had everything on tape.  Cassidy also told them that a reporter could make a career out of what she had.  Dr. O asked Cassidy if she realized what that tape would do to their lives.  Cassidy replied that she did and told him that was way she was giving him the tape.  Cassidy handed Dr. O the tape.  Kira couldn't believe that Cassidy would pass up a scoop of a lifetime and asked her why.  Cassidy told them that they were her friends and she couldn't ruin their lives just to make hers better, not after everything they had done for them.  Ethan replied that he always knew there was a heart deep down.  Cassidy turned and placed her hand on Devin's chest and told them she just needed someone to show her.  Devin told them that they had to excuse them as they had a prom to attend to.  Cassidy and Devin walked away, arm in arm.  Cassidy attended the Reefside Senior Prom with Devin.  She was excited over how wonderful everything looked.  They walked in together and Hayley greeted them by telling them how nice they looked.  Cassidy, on behalf of the prom committee, thanked Hayley for all her work.  Hayley told Cassidy that she appreciated what she had done for the Power Rangers.  Cassidy told Hayley that a good reporter knows when to tell a story and when to keep a secret.  Cassidy and Devin enjoyed the prom.  Dr. O got on stage and made a small speech and then introduced the band - Kira Ford.  Cassidy cheered with the rest of the crowd and then turned her arms around Devin in joyful abandonment.
