KRISTA
Krista - Antonia Prebble
Krista is a student at Reefside High School. She believes passionately in protecting nature. Krista had learned that Principal Randall planned to take down 100-year old tree for a parking lot. She immediately set to work making posters and pinned them up through out the high school. In the process of pinning up the posters, she was stopped by a young man, Conner. Conner asked her about the posters. Krista was surprised, she did not think Conner would be interested. She told Conner what Principal Randall was planning and how she felt. Conner asked her what he could do. Again, Krista was surprised, but she told him of the rally planned later. Later, Krista had several of the students encircle the tree. Several of them had signs declaring save the tree. She walked by Cassidy and Devin and Cassidy told her to move, that she was blocking her light. Krista didn't have time for Cassidy and told Cassidy that she didn't have time for posers. Cassidy left. Krista was checking on the group when she overheard Conner and Ethan's conversation. Ethan had asked Conner if he really cared about the tree. Conner had replied that he didn't, he only had to make like he cared. Krista had heard enough. Krista nudged Conner and told him once a jock, always a jock. She also asked him to leave the protest to the people who really care before angrily walking away. The tree workers and equipment was ready. Principal Randall arrived and ordered the workers to proceed. Krista determinedly stood in front of the equipment and held her ground. The driver tried to get her to move, but she refused. Exasperated, the driver left the equipment and accidentally release a cable that held a cage above her head. Krista had only a few seconds to glance up and see the cage falling towards her, when she was suddenly down on the ground. Conner had pulled her to safety. She asked Conner how he had done that, and he simply replied it was being a jock. Principal Randall sent the students and crew home. Krista walked along with Conner. She didn't understand him. Sometimes, Krista thought Conner was a nice guy, other times he was a real jerk. Krista told this to Conner and asked him who was the real Conner. Conner told her that he had a lot more going on in his life than people realized. Conner would like to chance to show Krista who he really was. Krista forewarned Conner that she couldn't spend time with a guy who wouldn't take her passion seriously. Conner told her that as long as he was around, nothing would happen to the tree. They ended up at Hayley's Cyberspace. Krista and Conner sat at a table together and were having a pretty good time until Devin walked in. Krista and Conner both heard Devin told Cassidy that he had been attacked by the freak Zeltrax. Devin also told Cassidy that Zeltrax had taken the tree. Krista was shocked. She stood up and Conner tried to stop her. Krista thought that Conner still hadn't change and left. Krista walked up to the empty hole that had contained the tree. She stood there for quite some time. Zeltrax appeared behind and Krista asked him if he hadn't done enough damage? Zeltrax told her he had only begun before he shoved her aside. Krista watched as Zeltrax slammed a piece of Deadwood Monster into the spring and commanded it to give him more power. Krista was relieved when she saw the Red Power Ranger. The Red Ranger and Zeltrax fought for awhile. Without warning, Zeltrax grabbed her and vanished. Krista found herself on the edge of a cliff with Zeltrax still holding her and climbing ever higher. The Red Power Ranger had found them and tried to free Krista but couldn't. Krista watched as the Red Ranger morphed into the Triassic Ranger and then further into battle armor. Zeltrax had suddenly flung Krista and she was falling rapidly towards the ground. The Red Ranger grabbed her with his stretch arms and got her down safely. The Red Ranger told her to hide and she did behind some shrubbery. Krista watch the Red Ranger and Zeltrax battled. Krista was soon joined by the rest of the Rangers and they watched as the Red Ranger had Zeltrax retreat. Another day, Krista was back on the school grounds. There was a new tree planting ceremony and she was there. Conner walked up to her and told her that he was glad that they had gotten a new tree. Krista agreed that it was better than a parking lot, but that she would miss the old tree. Conner told her that he was really sorry about the tree and Krista was surprised that she detected sincerity in Conner. She asked Conner if he wanted to do the honors. Conner told her to new beginnings as he went to plant the new tree. Krista repeated his words as she watched him.
Conner asked Krista to the Reefside Senior Prom and she accepted. They enjoyed themselves at the prom and walked around. Conner spotted Ethan and asked him if he had remembered Krista. Ethan asked if she was on the list and Krista gave an amused smile. Ethan quickly told Krista she was the tree girl. Krista told Ethan that she guess you could say that. Krista asked Conner if he wanted anything to drink and then left to get them drinks. Later, Krista and Conner cheered to Kira's music.
