TRENT

Trent Fernandez-Mercer - The White Dino Thunder Power Ranger

Trent has recently moved to Reefside.  He attends school at Reefside High School.  Trent entered Hayley's Cyberspace looking for Hayley.  He was supposed to start work that day.  Trent asked two kids at a table if they knew where Hayley was.  They didn't, but Ethan introduced himself and Kira.  Trent was amused that Kira initially would not look at him.  Hayley ended up finding Trent and got him started.  One of Trent's jobs is waiting on the tables.

During the quiet moments at Cyberspace, Trent likes to draw.  He drew a picture of Kira as a super hero, which Hayley promptly hung up at Hayley's Cyberspace.  Trent was surprised that his father knew Dr. Oliver, his science teacher.  He tried to question his father about it, but his father simply said that Dr. Oliver was a painful part of his past, that he had chosen to forget.  Trent tried to push for more information, but his father wouldn't reveal anymore.

Trent was working hard at Hayley's Cyberspace.  Ethan pulled him over - they were supposed to be working on a government project together.  But Trent couldn't stop, the place had been slammed and he was trying to keep on top of it all.  Cassidy began snapping her fingers impatiently.  Ethan told Trent to go on, he would find something to do.  Trent walked up to Cassidy and Trent's table with the latte Cassidy had been waiting for.  As Cassidy talked, Trent kept an eye on the place, looking what else he had to do and not really listening to Cassidy.  He did feel bad, when Devin pulled him over - motioning that he had forgotten his smoothie.  Trent was apologetic and went to get it.  Trent noticed his father walk in and went to greet him.  His dad was ready to pick him up, but Trent couldn't leave just yet.  Anton Mercer didn't really approve of Trent waiting tables, he wanted something more managerial for his son.  But Trent liked his job and it was what kids his age did.  Trent smiled when his dad told him he didn't.  Trent took his father's intentions for him in good grace and his dad soon left.  Trent had another long day at Hayley's and Dr. Oliver gave him a ride home.  Dr. Oliver told him that it all the time he had worked with his dad, he had never mention a son.  Trent explained that he was adopted.  Anton Mercer and his real parents worked on a dig together.  There was a cave in and his parents never came out.  Dr. Oliver was sorry, but  Trent was okay.  Anton Mercer had taken him in and given him a life, not a lot of people would have done that.  On the ride home, a golden creature chased after Dr. Oliver's jeep.  Trent couldn't believe it.  Dr. Oliver slammed on the brakes and the creature crashed into the jeep and fell to the ground.  Trent and Dr. Oliver got out of the jeep to check out the creature.  The creature suddenly got up and wanted to know which one was Dr. Oliver.  Trent watched while the creature tossed Dr. Oliver around.  He couldn't stand it anymore and soon Trent was battling the creature.  It was touch and Trent was soon the one being tossed around.  The Power Rangers showed up and Trent stayed put by the jeep.  He couldn't believe it when the yellow Power Ranger knew his name.  Zeltrax and his son, the golden creature, left.  Trent got home late, something his father pointed out to him.  He told him that Dr. Oliver gave him a ride and that they had car trouble.  Trent wanted to know why his dad and Dr. Oliver didn't hang out anymore.  His dad told him that people go in and out of your life and that he and Dr. Oliver's lives were in different directions.  Trent accepted this, but not the next bit of news.  His dad informed him that he bought the land that Hayley's Cyberspace sat on.  Trent was the new manager of Cyberspace.  Trent was upset, he was not interested in running Cyberspace.  He barely had enough time for his job as it was, with drawing and school thrown in.  His father wouldn't listen and this infuriated Trent.  Didn't how he felt count.  Apparently his father had taken that into consideration and decided it was best for the family.  Although angry, Trent knew he couldn't persuade his father to change his mind.  The following day, Trent walked into Cyberspace while Hayley was telling Dr. Oliver and Ethan about the changes Anton Mercer were making.  Trent made sure they knew he was there.  Ethan wanted to know if one rough day, meant daddy buying the place for you.  It wasn't like that, Trent tried to explain.  He had nothing to do with it.  Dr. Oliver thought he might have a way and knew of someone in city hall.  Trent didn't think there was a way out - his dad never made his mistakes, but Dr. Oliver thought differently.  Dr. Oliver and Ethan left for city hall.  Trent went as well, feeling it was his fault what had happened.  Councilwoman Sanchez greeted them.  The conversation barely got started when they were attacked by Zeltrax and his son, Golden Rod.  Dr. Oliver told Trent to get councilwoman Sanchez to safety.  Trent did quickly.  Councilwoman Sanchez was grateful and told Trent if there was anything she could do for him, to let her know.  There was one thing.  Trent began to talk to her about his father and the terrible mistake he was making with Hayley's Cyberspace.  After the conversation and the destruction of Golden Rod, Trent went home to face up to his dad.  He walked in and started to tell his dad that he wasn't going to be happy with what he had done, when he noticed that his dad was not there.  Trent noticed a strange, tunnel looking, green thing hovering in the air. He touched it with the tip of his father and was sucked in.  Later, he emerged in front of Hayley's Cyberspace.  His father was leaving, his back towards Trent and unaware of Trent being there.  Confused, Trent watched his father walked away.  Ethan noticed him and invited him in for the victory celebration (they had delayed Anton taking over Cyberspace).  Trent needed a few minutes to absorb what had just happened and told Ethan he would be in a minute.

At home, Trent searched his father's office for the inter-dimensional doorway that he had gone through.  He remember what had happened before, but could not locate the doorway now.  His father's voice interrupt his concentration.  Trent told his dad that strange things were going on.  His father merely replied that he was worried about Trent working all hours at the coffee place and wanted him to see his doctor.  Trent didn't want to see a doctor.  He felt he had the right to know what was going on.  His father was always involved in different project.  His dad told him that he all his projects were for the better of mankind and that in time, Trent would agree with him.  During the conversation, Trent continue to look for the doorway.  His dad came up and told him that one day all that was his would be Trent's and that it came with great responsibility.  Trent's dad planned on introducing him soon to that responsibility.  Trent was very confused and his father's suggestion that he used their pool was not any help.

Trent was working at Hayley's Cyberspace when Nikki Valentina walked in.  Along with everyone else, Trent's mouth dropped open at the sight of the star from Ocean Alert.  His shift ended and Trent asked Kira if she was ready to go.  Ethan wanted to know where the two of them were going.  Kira explained that she was going to look at some sketches that Trent had made for her demo cover.  Trent and Kira were getting ready to leave again, when Trent's dad paged him.  Trent's dad wanted him home.  Trent had to break his plans with Kira and explained that his dad needed him at home.  He headed towards home.  When he got there, his dad was in his office and pointed out to him that he was late.  Trent tried to explain that he had plans, his father told him that he had plans as well.  His dad also told him that he might one day be gone and he needed to know that Trent could manage the family business.  Trent wanted to know where his dad was going.  His dad replied no where for right now, but again, stress that it was important for Trent to be ready.  Trent told him that he was.  The following day he was at his dad's desk, sketching.  He noticed his father walk in and quickly cover his drawing.  His dad asked him if he was studying and Trent replied that he was going over some business figures.  The business sheets hid his drawing.  His dad was proud of him and told him he could do anything.  Trent kept the smile on his face as he watch his dad walk out.  The moment his dad left, Trent went back to his drawing.

His dad didn't support his artist endeavors, so Trent decided to take advantage of the early hours and draw at Hayley's Cyberspace.  At Hayley's he worked on his drawing, too engrossed in his work to notice someone coming up.  Hayley gave him a scare when she made to attack him with a microphone stand.  Trent fell to the ground and asked Hayley what she was doing here.  Hayley reminded him of the sign that had her name on it.  Then Hayley took a look at Trent's drawings and told him they were very good.  Trent thanked her and got up off the floor.  He helped Hayley set up for the day.  Hayley wanted to know why Trent was drawing in her place at 7:00  in the morning.  Trent explained that his dad was not supportive of his artist abilities.  Hayley asked him how did he know.  Trent replied that it exact words were "Trent, I'm in no way supportive of your artist endeavors".  Hayley thought his dad might change his mind.  But Trent knew better.  His dad was a great guy, but there were some things his dad wouldn't budge on.  After school, Trent came home and walked slowly into his dad's home office.  His dad was there and asked him how school was and how he thought about their last conversation.  Trent sharply told his dad he didn't appreciate him telling him not to draw.  His father told him that when his parents disappeared, they agreed that he would act as Trent's father.  Anton also told Trent that sometimes parents make decisions that children are not happy with.  Trent listened to his father, he understood what his father was saying, but frustrated that he could not make him understand what he was saying.  Trent noticed his dad was not looking good and asked him if he was okay.  Anton turned from his view and told him he was okay.  Then his dad told him that he had work to do and to go.  Not happy, Trent replied that he had work to and left.  But he didn't go very far.  He peered around the doorway and watched as his dad entered the invisiportal.  Trent wanted to know what his dad was up to.  The invisiportal appeared again, and Trent entered it once more.  This time he landed in a very strange place.  Trent didn't know where he was.  He noticed a bright, shining object on a far table.  Trent walked slowly towards it.  The closer he got, the more the object began to tremble.  His wrist was also starting to shake.  Trent reached the table and the object leaped onto his wrist and transform into a bracelet and then a morpher.  Suddenly, Trent was plunged into visions of the powerful White Dino Thunder Power Ranger.  The object had been the evil white dino gem and it immediately began to bond with Trent's DNA.  Trent managed to leave the building he was in and ran as fast as he could.  He still had the morpher on his wrist and it was shooting out sparks of white light.  Trent fell to his knees as the power of the gem overtook him.  Later, Trent collapse somewhere in the city.  He got up and brushed himself off.  Cassidy and Devin ran into him and wanted to know if he had seen the White Ranger.  Trent told them he hadn't seen anything.  Cassidy was in disbelief that Trent hadn't seen anything - the White Ranger had just gone by.  Trent told them again that he didn't see anything.  Impatient, Cassidy left.  Devin thanked Trent before catching up with Cassidy.  Trent stumble towards a wall and used it prop himself up.  Physically exhausted and confused, he could only watch Cassidy and Devin leave.

The power of the white dino gem began to take it's toll on Trent.  He was exhausted and had no control on when he would change into the White Ranger.  Trent tried to carry on like normal and went to work at Hayley's Cyberspace.  He got bumped by the doors when Cassidy and Devin burst out.  Trent didn't know what was wrong with his bracelet and then he went in.  He walked up behind Hayley as she was asking Kira and Ethan if they had seen Trent.  Trent was late and Trent is never late.  Trent apologized.  Hayley, Kira, and Ethan were all concerned when they saw Trent.  Ethan commented that he looked like he had seen Grippleshank.  A horrible creature from a computer game.  Trent told Ethan he would keep an eye out and back in reality, he had a lot of work to do.  He left to start his shift.  Trent didn't last too long.  He could hardly keep the tray of glasses balanced and had a hard time walking around the tables.  Trent became confused and lost it.  He fall to the floor.  Hayley raced to his side.  Trent wanted to keep working, but Hayley insisted that he take the day off and rest.  Trent finally agreed.  Hayley wanted Trent to call her to let her know how he was doing.  Trent nodded his head in agreement and left Cyberspace.  He walked along alleyways and was almost mowed down by a group of kids, Cassidy, and Devin.  Trent was still having a hard time functioning and he suddenly gripped his head in pain.  He fell to his knees and as the power began stronger, collapse on the ground.  Trent lost control and the White Ranger took over.

When Trent gained control, he went to the park.  His head was pounding and he sat on a bench, oblivious to his surroundings.  Conner came up and wanted to know if he was okay.  Trent knock his arm away as he told him he was alright.  Conner didn't think he look alright and told him so.  Conner offered to call his dad.  No way did Trent want his dad to know what was happening and he quickly got off the bench.  Trent told Conner to leave him alone and left quickly.  The White Ranger then took possession of Trent again.  The next thing Trent knew he was stumbling in a warehouse.  Dr. Oliver was there and there were several gadget.  Trent wanted to know what was going on, but Dr. Oliver was more focused on getting Trent out.  The power of the gem gripped Trent again and he arched his back in pain.  His bracelet sent off a powerful surge that knock Dr. Oliver off his feet and transform Trent into the White Ranger again.

Trent was walking in an alleyway when he started to feel the familiar surge of power.  He didn't want it to happen again.  Trent glanced at his bracelet and memories began to flow.  The memories started when he first entered the invisiportal through memories of becoming the White Ranger.  Dismay hit Trent as he realized what he has done as the White Ranger.  Trent decided since he couldn't control the gem power, he needed to take some drastic actions.  Trent first went to Hayley's Cyberspace.  He cut through Conner and Kira.  Kira said hello, but Trent was too focused on what he had to do and merely mumbled a greeting back to her.  He walked up to the counter and Hayley was happy to see him.  Hayley was slammed with customers and she could really use Trent's help.  Trent stopped her in mid-flow by telling her that he was quitting.  Hayley immediately thought it was his father causing problems.  Trent told her no and that he couldn't explain.  He felt bad for quitting on Hayley and headed straight for the door.  Kira stopped him before he went through the door.  Kira thought Hayley deserved an explanation.  Trent told Kira that something weird had happened to him and he felt like he would explode if he didn't tell someone.  Kira was immediately sympathetic and told him that he could tell her.  He started to tell her something, when Cassidy burst through the doors and effectively stopped their conversation.  Cassidy went to the stage and told the crowd that she had an announcement.  Trent stood by Kira as he waited to hear what Cassidy had to say.  Trent was stunned and worried when Cassidy announced that she had video tape evidence of the White Ranger.  Cassidy was merely waiting for Devin to show up with his camera.  Trent glanced around the room and nervously waited for his exposure.  Devin run into the room and headed straight for Cassidy.  Cassidy made an postponement of her announcement because Devin's sister had his camera.  Trent was very relieved and took the opportunity to leave quickly.  As he walked along, he was aware of the gem's power and it gained control of him again.  The White Ranger was ready to battle.  Elsa and Zeltrax wanted to take him to Mesogog, but he refused.  They left when the other Rangers showed up.  The White Ranger battled with them and soon had the Yellow Ranger demorphed.  He walked slowly to his target - commenting on how he never liked the color yellow.  The White Ranger knelt down and grabbed Kira's wrist and yanked her up.  The White Ranger was ready to deal the fatal blow when he saw Kira's face.  Something inside him made him hesitate as memories of Kira came to the White Ranger.  Trent tried to gain a little control and the White Ranger clutched his head.  The Red and Blue Ranger battled him and he had to retreat.  Trent was at a lake, sketching the White Ranger.  Kira walked up and asked him where he went to.  Trent apologized and told her he shouldn't have just walked off.  Kira asked him what was happening and he showed her the picture he sketched of the White Ranger.  Kira told him that if he wanted to be a hero, the White Ranger was definitely not who he wanted to be.  Trent only wished he had a choice and told her so.  Kira wanted to know what he meant and he showed her his bracelet.  Kira was furious - Trent had almost destroyed her.  Kira got ready to leave, but Trent stopped her.  Trent explained that he had no control over the gem and the bracelet wouldn't come off.  Kira was still mistrusting and Trent didn't like seeing that.  He told her that he would never willingly hurt anyone - especially her.  Kira believe him and told him that she would get Conner and Ethan.  Trent wanted to know why those guys - and was surprised that they were Rangers too.  Trent waited for Kira and returned to sketching in his book.   A net was thrown over him and Trent was captured by Tyrannodrones.  The Tyrannodrones took him to Mesogog.  Mesogog was eager to see the identity of the White Ranger.  The net was taken off Trent, although he was still held tightly by several Tyrannodrones.  Mesogog was very pleased to see it was Anton Mercer's son.  Trent didn't know what the freak was talking about.  Mesogog wanted Trent to join them and restore the world back to the dinosaur era.  Trent vowed that he would never help him.  Mesogog informed Trent that eventually the he would become completely evil.  Trent vowed that he would fight the gem's power.  Mesogog agreed that at first he would, but the power would be too great.  Mesogog leaned close to Trent and hissed at him to join him.  It became to much for Trent and the White Ranger took over.  The White Ranger also wanted nothing to do with Mesogog and made a spectacular escape.  The White Ranger was ready for action and called for his zords.  The Rangers met him and were prepared to do battle.  Hayley had sent the Rangers a new zord, and White Ranger was ready to add it to his collection, but the Rangers were not going to give up.  The White Ranger eventually had to retreat, but vowed to return.  Later, Trent found Kira at the lake.  He knew he would find her there.  Kira still wanted to help him, but Trent couldn't let her.  He was changing and he was dangerous to be around.  Kira tried again, but the short fuse inside Trent was growing stronger and he lashed out at her.  Trent told her no and angrily yanked the sketch she had clutched in her hands of the White Ranger.  Trent tossed the sketch into the lake as he walked away.

Trent decided he needed to get far away from Reefside.  He packed a few things and headed off into the forest - to cover his trail.  It felt like he was never going to be far enough.  Trent sat down by the base of a tree and heard voices.  He had a moment of panic when he heard someone called him the White Ranger.  Trent turned around and there was Cassidy and Devin.  Trent tried to make light of the situation by telling them they must be joking if they thought he was the White Ranger.  Apparently Cassidy and Devin did not think that Trent was the White Ranger.  Something came hurtling through the air and Trent told the two to watch out.  They all crouched down as the object zoomed over their heads and crashed nearby.  Cassidy and Devin were ready to investigate it.  Trent told them that it might be dangerous, but Cassidy told Trent that danger was her middle name.  Cassidy and Devin took off.  Trent knew he was going to regret this, but followed the pair.  The object appeared to be a smoldering meteorite.  Trent bent for a closer look and noticed how the meteorite affected his bracelet.  Trent heard another surprised voice.  It was Kira.  Conner and Ethan were there as well and neither one looked happy to see him.  Trent caught up slowly and it pained him to see his friends against him.  Several Tyrannodrones and Rojobot appeared - also interested in the meteorite.  Cassidy and Devin left quickly.  Conner demanded to know whose side Trent was on today.  Trent retorted back with did they want his help or not.  Trent began to battle the Tyrannodrones.  Kira, Conner, and Ethan did as well.  During the battle, the meteorite gave off purplish vapors.  One such vapor touch Trent and he began to feel strange.  Freeing that he might lose control and turn into the White Ranger, Trent took off.  The following day, the Rangers were battling Rojobot again.  Trent showed up in his megazord and helped the Rangers destroyed Rojobot.  Trent left as quickly as he had shown up.

The power of the dino gem took Trent over completely.  He got into his megazord and began rampaging through the city.  The Rangers tried to stop him.  The Rangers had to call on their auxiliary zords to help them.  Trent bonded the Ranger's megazord in chains and placed containment fields around the two zords, Dimetrodon and Celpha.  Then he vanished along with the zords.  The following day, Trent waited for Conner.  Trent appeared to materialized out of the building as he walked towards Conner.  He taunted Conner about the safety of walking to school alone.  Conner didn't want to fight, but that didn't matter to Trent, cause he did.  Trent morphed and Conner followed suit.  They began to battle each other and eventually they both fell to the ground.  Trent laid on the ground as Zeltrax and Insectolite appeared.  Insectolite was given orders to only infect the White Ranger.  This caused Trent to demorph.  Conner had awaken and saw what happen.  Conner raced over to see if Trent was okay.  Trent was a little groggy but felt great.  He told Conner that he felt like himself again.  Conner trusted Trent and took him to school.  They hid among the belchers, Conner keeping an eye out for Kira and Ethan.  Kira and Ethan soon joined the group.  Trent explained that the Insectolite's blast had broke him free of the dino gem's power.  Ethan found that hard to believe, so Trent quickly changed the subject.  He apologized for all the things he done and wanted to make it up to them.  Ethan demanded that he return their zords.  Trent chuckle, he would return their zords and even had a peace offering for them.  They agreed to meet in the warehouse district later that afternoon.  Trent morphed and went to Mesogog's fortress.  He told Mesogog that they fell for the ploy.  Mesogog implied that they were partners, but Trent wanted nothing to do with that.  He took Mesogog's gift and left.  Trent waited patiently for the Rangers to show.  The Rangers arrived on their bikes, morphed, and with Dr. Oliver.  Trent gave a friendly wave and set off for them.  He was rather surprised to see Dr. Oliver, but hid it well.  Telling Dr. Oliver that he was glad to see that he was okay.  Ethan wanted to know where the zords where.  Trent told them that he wanted to show them his peace offering first.  He unveiled an ATV.  Dr. Oliver insisted that he try it out first.  Dr. Oliver got onto the ATV and asked Trent about the 12-stroke engine.  Trent murmured a reply about the 12-stroke engine and Dr. Oliver replied that they don't make 12-stroke engines.  Trent looked at Dr. Oliver with a sly look and told him that Mesogog doesn't make monsters that turn people good.  Trent started the ATV and Dr. Oliver was stuck.  Before the other Rangers could help, Trent whistle for his own ATV.  Tossing the Rangers a contempt look, he told them so long suckers, morphed, and got onto his own ATV.  Trent pursued Dr. Oliver outside and they battle.  Dr. Oliver warned Trent that he would destroyed him if he had to.  Trent wasn't worry about what the old man would do.  Dr. Oliver returned to the warehouse as did Trent.  Trent told the Rangers they could say good-bye to their zords and left.  Later, Trent appeared morphed again as the Rangers were calling him.  The Rangers wanted to make a deal with him, like he did with Mesogog.  But Trent didn't make deals with posers.  A small battle erupted and soon Trent vanished.  The sun began to set, as Trent sat on his ATV with the two auxiliary zords.  He knew the Rangers were trying to save them, but it was too late.  When the Rangers arrived, Trent released the zords and vanished.  He reappeared in his megazord.  The starfish device he had used on the zords on made sure the zords loyalty was now to Trent.  Trent called for his new zords and pounded away at the Rangers in their megazord.  He was a little taken aback when Insectolite attacked him from behind.  Mesogog was not happy with him.  Trent destroyed Insectolite and vanished.  Later, Trent returned to Mesogog's fortress.  No one is aware of his presence as he can camouflage himself among the walls until he is ready to appear.  Trent witnesses Mesogog's transformation to his father.  Trent gives an evil laugh, as he appears from the wall and continues walking.

Trent enjoyed using his camouflage abilities and used it at every moment.  He hid among the lockers at school and overheard Kira, Conner, and Ethan talking about keeping an eye on him.  Trent found the whole conversation very amusing and laugh as he walked away from the lockers.  The smirk disappeared when he heard Principal Randall call his name over the loudspeaker.  Trent went to Principal Randall's office.  Principal Randall told him that his teachers were concerned over his attitude and schoolwork.  Not to mention his skin tone.  Trent could care less as he sat down.  Principal Randall continue to pry and try several different scenarios to discovered what was going on.  Trent had a ready response for each question.  He played along with Principal Randall.  When Principal Randall asked him if he was interested in any organizations, he couldn't resist telling her that he was asked to joined a team.  Principal Randall's eyes gleamed as she asked him what happened.  Trent told her that they were losers and he didn't want to be a part of a losing team.  Principal Randall had no reply for that comment.  Trent joined his science class.  The room was a buzzed with who the new teacher was going to be.  Trent didn't participate in the conversation around him.  Principal Randall walked in and announced that the new teacher was Dr. Anton Mercer.  Trent was surprised as he picked up his head and stare at his dad in amazement.  He still didn't know everything that his father was up to.  After school, his dad wanted him home, but Trent didn't want to be around his dad and walked away from him.  He did join his science class on a field trip to a dinosaur museum, but it was uneventful for Trent.

Trent continue to camouflage himself among the walls of Mesogog's fortress.  He listened as Mesogog instructed Zeltrax to bring him the White Ranger.  Zeltrax's main concern was the destruction of the White Ranger.  Once Mesogog left, Trent approach Zeltrax.  He had a deal for him.  Trent would help Zeltrax destroy Dr. Oliver - he personally didn't like him, too much homework - and Zeltrax would help Trent take down Mesogog.  Zeltrax was reluctant at first, and Trent made to leave, but Zeltrax stopped him.  Zeltrax agreed to Trent's plans.  The following day, Trent was at Mesogog's fortress again.  He overheard Zeltrax's declaration for Elsa, and Trent couldn't help but tease Zeltrax about it.  But they soon got to business.  They put together a monster - Termitetron - that could destroy the city.  The deal was that Dr. Oliver had to turn himself in to Zeltrax, or Termitetron would destroy the city.  Later that day at a warehouse, Dr. Oliver and Conner appeared.  Termitetron was there to greet them.  The Rangers were soon joined by Kira and Ethan.  Trent watched hidden in the shadows along with Zeltrax.  The Rangers destroyed Termitetron, and Zeltrax was not happy.  Trent stayed calm throughout and told Zeltrax it wasn't over till the fat monster sings.  Trent instructed Zeltrax to make the monster grow.  The Rangers still defeated Termitetron.  Trent returned to Mesogog's fortress and found Zeltrax there.  Although his plan did not work, he wanted to remain friends with Zeltrax.  Zeltrax did not feel the same way.  Trent's smile vanish as intense pain filled his head.  Clutching his head, he turned around and saw Mesogog.  Mesogog told him that it was always difficult for a father to punish his son.  Trent was surprised that Mesogog knew.  Mesogog walked up to Trent and told him that Zeltrax had kept him inform of Trent's plans from the very beginning.  Trent was in a very difficult position.  Mesogog value Zeltrax's loyalty, but did not know where Trent's loyalty laid.  Trent was defensive that Mesogog would take the word of a stranger over his own son.  Mesogog effectively trap Trent when Trent declared that he was on his dad's side all the way.  As he said the words, Trent realized that his days as a free agent were over.

Trent was at Mesogog's lair with Zeltrax and Elsa.  They were watching the screen that was playing "The Funky Fisherman Show".  Elsa thought the fish (Marty the Mackerel) would give anyone nightmares.  Elsa decided she would use the fish to create a monster.  Trent thought that was Elsa's dumbest idea yet.  Zeltrax was ready to defend Elsa and told him to apologize.  Trent, itching to fight, told Zeltrax to make him.  Elsa warned both of them to get along and Mesogog would not be pleased.  Elsa left, but Trent and Zeltrax continued to face each other down.  Zeltrax told Trent to remember his place.  But Trent didn't like his place, he wanted to be second in command. Zeltrax told him that was his position.  Trent told Zeltrax then he wouldn't mind defending his position in a battlefield.  Zeltrax agreed to the challenge.  They met on the beach and faced each other.  Trent morphed and the battle began.  During one point, Trent lost his dino powers and unmorph.  Zeltrax taunted him with being unable to control the white dino gem powers.  Trent warned Zeltrax that he was stronger than Zeltrax thought.  Trent continued the battle unmorph.  Zeltrax grew weary of the battle and told Trent it was time to end it.  Trent agreed and morphed back as the White Ranger.  He delivered a devastating blow to Zeltrax that left Zeltrax on the ground.  Zeltrax warned that it wasn't over.  But as far as Trent was concern it was.  Trent told Zeltrax he would met him back at Mesogog's lair and referred to him as number three before vanishing.

Trent was practicing his battle skills with several Tyrannodrones.  Trent made quick work of the Tyrannodrones.  The Tyrannodrones were simply too easy.  Trent told his father, who had walked out, that he needed some thing a bit more difficult.  Trent sat in a chair and looked at this dino gem bracelet.  His father sat down too.  Trent told his dad that the gem was making him stronger every day.  Soon no one will be able to defeat him.   Trent was surprised when his father told him that he didn't like the new changes in Trent.  Trent had thought this was what his father had wanted, after all his father was Mesogog.  His dad corrected him, he was not Mesogog, they just shared the same mind.  His father told Trent of his experiments and that he felt he was on the verge of an important breakthrough.  Dr. Mercer felt the experiments were too dangerous to conduct on anyone else, and so he did them on himself.  Which is how Mesogog came to be.  Trent thought that they were on the verge of bringing back the dinosaur era and that was what his dad wanted.  Dr. Mercer told his son it was what Mesogog wanted, no him.  Dr. Mercer stressed to his son that this was not the life he wanted for his son.  Trent angrily replied that it was a little too late for that and angrily left his father.  As the White Ranger, Trent caught up with one of Zeltrax's creations.  He thought that maybe Copyotter might provide more of a challenge and they battle.  Trent was very surprised when Copyotter copies his weapon and then left.  Later, Trent watched as Copyotter battled the Rangers.  He planned on battling whoever was the winner.  Trent watched them until Mesogog's claw yanked him back to his lair.  Trent fought as Mesogog overpowered him.  Mesogog had him strapped to a reclining chair and adjusted a few instruments.  Trent didn't understand why Mesogog was calling him a traitor.  He kept telling Mesogog he had the wrong guy, but Mesogog wouldn't listen.  Mesogog prepared the equipment to eliminate Trent.  A beam of light surrounded Trent and he could feel his life ebbing away.  Desperately, Trent called out to his dad, reminding him that he was his son.  Trent begged his father not to do this.  Dr. Mercer was able to break freed and he pushed the beam of light away from Trent.  The beam hit several objects before hitting Trent's dino gem.  Dr. Mercer shock his son awake.  Trent slowly came to.  He felt like himself again.  Dr. Mercer examined his bracelet.  The evil coding had been neutralized by the beam, but it still contain the dino powers.  Trent didn't know what to do, what his father urged him to fight on the side of good.  His father almost collapsed on the floor and Trent hurried to his dad's side.  Trent was stunned when his father told him to help the Rangers.  He couldn't go against his father.  Trent wanted to help his dad, but his father told him he had to leave.  Trent vowed not to tell anyone his dad's secret before he left.  As the White Ranger, Trent arrived to help the Rangers who were still battling Copyotter.  Trent called forth his super dino mode and he had to admit he liked the additional power.  He make quick work of Copyotter.  Mesogog restored Copyotter and made him bigger.  Dr. Oliver called forth the zords and the Rangers continued the battle in their zords.  Dr. Oliver was attacked from behind by Zeltrax.  Trent quickly stopped Zeltrax from making a fatal blow.  Trent began battling Zeltrax and soon Dr. Oliver joined him.  Zeltrax retreated.  Trent morphed down and walked towards Dr. Oliver.  Dr. Oliver told him to stop, and Trent told him that they needed to talk.  After listening to Trent, Dr. Oliver took him to his lab.  Dr. Oliver contacted the other Rangers and told them that he had a big surprised for them.  Trent waited in the lab for the Rangers to show up.  Conner, Kira, and Ethan quickly went into battle ready stance when they saw them.  Trent explained that he was on there side.  Conner wanted to know how he got in and was surprised when Dr. Oliver explained that he had let them in.  Conner and Ethan did not want Trent there.  Only after Dr. Oliver explained that Trent had saved his life, did they accept him.  Trent walked over to Kira - who had stood apart from the rest.  He told her that he knew he had a lot to make up for, but he wouldn't let them down again.  Kira felt everyone deserved another chance.  Kira also reminded the guys that there was a rule where all newbie Rangers had to wash the megazords.  Trent couldn't believe it, those zords were huge.  But he couldn't get out of it as the Rangers loaded him up with cleaning supplies.  Trent reluctantly walked away to wash the zords.

Trent returned to Hayley's Cyberspace and got his job back.  He waited on tables as Kira, Conner, and Ethan walked in.  Trent overheard Conner say that with a new attitude adjustment, that Trent was almost likeable.  Trent told Conner that he heard that as he walked past.  He joined the others for a few moments.  Conner asked him how he was doing and Trent replied that he felt like his old self.  Kira told Trent that he was one of them now, so no more secrets.  Trent repeated the words no more secrets as he remembered the vow he had made to his dad not to reveal his secret.  Trent found the burden of that secret more difficult than he thought.  Kira, Conner, and Ethan had moved to a table while Trent continued working.  Ethan stop him and told him that they needed to finish their project.  Trent agreed to meet with Ethan at the library.  Kira, Conner, and Ethan left while Trent stayed.  Later, Trent morphed and arrived just in time to help Kira, Conner, and Ethan.  They had been battling Zeltrax, evil White Ranger, and White Terrorsaurus and having a difficult time.  There was a moment of confusion as the Rangers didn't know which White Ranger was Trent.  Zeltrax, White Ranger, and White Terrorsaurus retreated.  Trent demorphed and Conner immediately got on his case - asking him why he didn't tell them he had a twin brother.  Trent couldn't respond, but it was obvious that Conner still did not trust him.  Trent and the others went to Dr. O's lab.  Kira asked Trent if he knew anything about the White Ranger.  But Trent didn't know anything about the White Ranger.  Dr. O told them that he was getting clone energy readings from both the White Ranger and the White Terrorsaurus.  This information made Conner feel justified in blaming Trent for what was happening.  Conner walked angrily over to Trent, but was stopped by Dr. O and Ethan.  Dr. O told them that they would need powerful backup.  Dr. O asked Trent to accompany him.  Trent was getting ready to leave with Dr. O when Conner asked Dr. O why couldn't one of them go.  Dr. O explained that he had a part to play in this, but now wasn't the time.  Trent and Dr. O walked out into the woods.  Trent appreciated Dr. O's trust in him and told him so.  They neared a waterfall and Dr. O explained that an artifact was hidden within the waterfalls.  Dr. O needed Trent's chameleon powers to retrieve the artifact.  Dr. O explained what to do and Trent followed his instructions.  Putting his powers into artifact, Trent could see the it.  The process was more difficult than Trent had thought and he was a difficulty holding on to the artifact.  Dr. O warned him that if they lost it now, they would never have it.  Trent doubled his efforts, but the effect was very draining.  Conner, morphed, leaped in and grabbled the artifact.  Conner faced Dr. O and Trent.  Trent thanked him, he didn't think he could have lasted much longer.  Dr. O explained how the Shield of Triumph had to have a part of each Ranger to work.  Trent tried to stay standing with help from Dr. O, as Dr. O explained that Trent had done his part.  Trent collapse to the ground and Conner and Dr. O helped him up.  Dr. O planned to take Trent back to his lab and contribute his part to the Shield of Triumph.  Dr. O asked Conner if he could battle White Terrorsaurus a little longer.  Conner told him he could and left.  Trent and Dr. O returned to the lab, where Trent recovered form his weaken state.  Trent walked in as Dr. O completed his part for the Shield of Triumph.  He asked Dr. O if he was okay and Dr. O told him he was, just a little drained.  Trent knew exactly how Dr. O felt.

Trent was working at Hayley's Cyberspace and feeling a little freaked out.  The place had run out of several items and it was Hayley's day off.  Trent raced out the door to get the things they needed and ran into Kira.  Kira had some exciting news, but Trent really couldn't listen.  Kira had asked for Conner or Ethan, but Trent hadn't seen either one.  Later in the day, the place was closing and Trent was cleaning up.  Hayley asked how it went and Trent replied that it went well.  He also pointed out their one straggler - Cassidy.  A few days later, Trent helped Kira with her new music video.  Along with Devin, Trent filmed her new video.

Trent was at Dr. O's lab with Hayley and Dr. O.  Soon, Kira, Ethan, and Conner joined them.  Dr. O told them that Elsa was using Channel 3's transmitter to direct a beam to Jupiter.  When the planet exploded, it would have dire consequences on Earth.  While Dr. O was talking, the evil White Ranger appeared on the screen.  Trent told the other Rangers that at least now they knew it wasn't him.  Dr. O sent Conner to take care of the evil White Ranger.  Dr. O sent Trent, Kira, and Ethan to the station to find the control room.  Trent and his friends morphed and arrived at the station.  Conner went after the evil White Ranger, while Trent, Kira, and Ethan entered the building.  They were stopped by Elsa and several Tyrannodrones.  Trent took on Elsa as Kira and Ethan fought off the Tyrannodrones.  Kira and Ethan soon take care of the Tyrannodrones.  Trent told them to get to Conner while he held off Elsa.  Trent continued battling Elsa.  Eventually Elsa retreated, but not before warning Trent that he would regret turning against Mesogog.  Trent joined the rest of the Rangers outside.  Conner had been successful in defeating Jupitor - the mechanical mutation of the virus.  Trent and the rest of the Rangers were jubilant with their success before taking off.

Trent, Conner, Kira, Ethan, and the rest of their class were being taken through the Egyptian exhibit at the museum.  Trent listened as Mrs. Porter pointed out the tomb of Pharaoh Tutenhawken.  Tutenhawken was a feared leader and many believed he had mystical powers.  Trent joined his friends at the tomb.  Ethan was very excited when he spotted the hieroglyphics and began copying them down.  Trent didn't understand why, but Ethan wanted to crack the code.  Mrs. Porter told them that the writings were believed to be a curse.  The rest of the field trip continued.  Later, Dr. Oliver contacted Trent.  The Rangers needed his help, Tutenhawken had been awaken and was attacking.  Trent morphed and attacked Tutenhawken.  Tutenhawken retreated, but promised that he would be back.  Trent demorph and so did the rest of the Rangers.  Conner thanked him and Trent told him it was no problem.  Ethan felt the whole situation was his fault.  Kira gave Ethan a piece of paper that contained the counter curse.  The wind took the paper out of Ethan's hand.  Trent watched as Ethan chase after the sheet of paper.  He noticed that a tree was falling and it was going to land on Ethan.  Trent called out and then raced over and pushed Ethan out of the way.  Both of them were okay.  The Rangers returned to Dr. Oliver's lab.  Ethan worked furiously on trying to crack the counter curse and it was reveal that the secret to destroying Tutenhawken was in the air.  Hayley arrived, excited, and revealed the new Hovercraft Cycle she had made for Ethan.  Hayley's smile disappeared when Ethan asked if it could fly.  Ethan and Hayley began working on the modifications.  Tutenhawken reappeared and Trent, Kira, and Conner morphed and went into battle.  Elsa appeared as well.  Trent took on Elsa as Kira and Conner battle Tutenhawken.  They were having a difficult time until Ethan showed up in his Hovercraft Cycle.  Ethan battle Elsa and Tutenhawken.  Ethan destroyed Tutenhawken and broke the curse.  Mesogog was able to restore Tutenhawken.  Kira and Ethan power up Conner and they went into the Triassic Mega Rover.  Trent continued to battle Elsa.  Kira, Ethan, and Conner destroyed Tutenhawken.  Trent soon had Elsa retreating.

Trent walked with Conner and Kira to school.  They soon joined Ethan, who had just made plans for a picnic with Cassidy.  Ethan was very nervous as it was his first date ever.  Trent didn't believe it, but Conner told Ethan that they would put him through dating boot camp.  They all entered school together.  In science class, Trent listened as his dad gave a lecture.  Abruptly, Dr. Mercer stopped talking and turn his back to the class.  Trent wondered what was going on and watched his dad carefully.  Dr. Mercer turned around and asked the class to excuse him for a few moments.  Dr. Mercer walked out.  Trent quickly left his class and found his dad outside the school building.  Trent could see that his father was having difficulty and wanted to help him.  His father told him to go back to class, but Trent insisted that his father needed help.  With great difficulty, as Dr. Mercer was starting to turn into Mesogog, Dr. Mercer told his son to leave.  Trent didn't want to, but he left anyways and headed back to his class.  After school, Dr. Oliver contacted the Rangers and told them to met at his lab.  They all raced over.  Dr. Oliver had some exiting news.  Hayley believe she had found a way to demorph Dr. Oliver with some slime.  Trent watched with his friends as Hayley prepared Dr. Oliver for the procedure.  Trent watched as the green slime splattered over Dr. Oliver and within minutes Dr. Oliver was gone.  They noticed a towel moving.  Dr. Oliver was still there, only invisible.  Hayley came to the conclusion that the slime had Dr. Oliver's invisibility power into overdrive.  Dr. Oliver told the Rangers that he and Hayley would work it out.  Conner thought it was a good time for Ethan's makeover.  Trent, Conner, Ethan, and Kira headed for Hayley's Cyberspace.  Kira gave Ethan wardrobe tips and Conner gave Ethan dancing lessons.  Trent had set up a picnic and showed Ethan the correct way to hold a glass, pour a drink, and toast.  Trent, Conner, and Kira thought that Ethan was ready.  Ethan was not so sure.  Their bracelets went off.  Trent left to tell Dr. Oliver what was going on, while Ethan, Conner, and Kira left for the city.  Later, at Dr. Oliver's lab, Conner and Kira joined Trent and Dr. Oliver in watching Ethan's date with Cassidy on the viewing screen.  At first, the date appeared to be going well, but it soon began to sputtered.  Trent could barely watch it.  Kira asked Dr. Oliver if they should do something and they realized that Dr. Oliver was not there.  Ethan's date was still being shown on the screen and it became apparent to Trent, Kira, and Conner that Ethan was receiving help from Dr. Oliver.  The date was interrupted by several Tyrannodrones.  Kira thought they should help Ethan, but the screen also showed that the evil White Ranger and Thornox were in the city.  Conner thought they needed to take care of them first.  Trent, Conner, and Kira morphed and went into the city.  Trent battled the Tyrannodrones while Conner and Kira took on the evil White Ranger and Thornox.  Ethan would soon join them.  Eventually, the Rangers destroyed Thornox.  Afterwards, Trent walked back to Cyberspace with Conner and Kira.  They were all surprised to see Ethan there.  Conner asked Ethan if he was going to continue his date with Cassidy.  Ethan had come to the conclusion that although Cassidy was great, they had nothing in common.  Ethan also told them that he was a Ranger and had to always been on call, he just didn't know how he was going to tell Cassidy.  Trent told Ethan he better think quick, as he had spotted Cassidy heading towards their table.  Trent asked Kira and Conner if they wanted to help Hayley in the back and the three left Ethan with Cassidy.

Trent morphed and arrived in the midst of the Rangers' battle with Terrorsaurus II.  He tried to help them, but soon found himself hit hard by the monster.  Trent landed on the ground and demorph quickly.  Terrorsaurus II soon had Conner, Kira, and Ethan demorph together.  Trent got to his feet and gathered close to his friends.  They prepared to morph again and realized they couldn't.  Terrorsaurus II had friend their morphing power.  Terrorsaurus II left in triumph.  As Trent and his friends gathered their wits, Devin and Cassidy showed up.  Cassidy saw that they were a mess and asked them what had happened.  Kira told her that there had been a monster attack.  Cassidy then asked if the Rangers had show up.  Trent quickly told Cassidy that no Rangers were around.  Devin found the whole thing odd and told them that the Rangers always appeared when someone needed help.  Trent and his friends quickly made their excuses and headed towards the Reefside Hospital.  Earlier in the day, an experiment to return Dr. Oliver to normal, had resulted in Dr. Oliver being visible again, but also in a coma.  Trent kept a vigil over Dr. Oliver's bed along with Kira, Ethan, Conner, and Hayley.  The TV station announced that there was another monster attack and questioned where the Power Rangers were.  Trent frustratingly told them that there was nothing they could do.  Eventually the TV reports got on Conner's nerves.  Conner decided to take on the monster.  Trent, Kira, and Ethan quickly followed Conner out of the room.  They met up with Terrorsaurus II.   Trent and the rest of the Rangers began to battle him, but it was extremely difficult without their powers.  Trent landed on the ground several times, although he always got back up.  After another hard landing on the ground, Dr. Oliver appeared with a flying kick towards Terrorsaurus II.  Trent was happy to see him.  Dr. Oliver morphed and called upon super dino mode.  Dr. Oliver defeated Terrorsaurus II.  With the defeat of the monster, Trent and the rest of the Rangers' powers were restored.  Terrorsaurus II was restored and bigger.  Trent and Dr. Oliver watched as Conner, Kira, and Ethan morphed and leaped into their zords.  They were able to destroy Terrorsaurus II.  Afterwards, they all return to Dr. Oliver's lab.  Trent was amazed when Dr. Oliver told them how he had to battle his former Ranger selves while battling for his life.  Trent and his friends had a dozen comments for Dr. Oliver and they all burst forth.  Dr. Oliver smile and had them be quiet.  Trent bowed his head at one point, as Dr. Oliver told them that from the bottom of his heart, he appreciated them standing by him.  Dr. Oliver knew it had been tough, but it meant a lot to them that they stuck by him.  Hayley also told them that they should be proud.

Trent entered Reefside High School with Ethan and Conner.  They all spotted the young girl down the hall, Krista.  Conner told them that they were looking at the future Mrs. Conner McKnight.  Ethan told Conner that he needed a reality check.  Trent had to go with Ethan on this one.  He told Conner that Krista was in his math class, Krista was kind of deep whereas, and here Trent hesitated.  Ethan promptly told Conner he wasn't - which was what Trent didn't want to say.  Conner left the guys to talk to Krista.  After school, Trent, Ethan, and Kira were at Hayley's Cyberspace.  Conner was there too, sitting at a table with Krista.  They all overheard Devin when he walked in and started talking to Cassidy.  Devin told Cassidy that the freak Zeltrax attacked him and was looking for the Rangers.  Devin also told Cassidy that he had taken the tree (the tree had been the center of a protest rally earlier in the day).  Trent, Kira, and Ethan quickly got up and stopped Conner from following Krista.  They headed for Dr. O's lab.  The Rangers were full of questions about Zeltrax and the tree.   Hayley filled them in.  Hayley told them that the tree had been over a life force springs.  Because it has been nurtured for years over the spring, the tree had amazing power.  The screen soon showed that several Triptoids had appeared.  Dr. O told Trent to stay and monitor whether Zeltrax reappeared as the rest of the Rangers left.  Trent stayed until Zeltrax appeared on the screen.  Trent morphed and arrived in time to stop Zeltrax from a brutal blow to Dr. O.  The Rangers had already taken care of the Triptoids and it was done to the evil White Ranger, Zeltrax, and Deadwood Monster.  Dr. O instructed Conner to used all the zords to form the Triceramax Megazord.  Trent and Dr. O continued their battle with Zeltrax while the rest of the Rangers battle in their zords.  The evil White Ranger vanished and Deadwood Monster had been shattered into several pieces.  Zeltrax gathered one of the pieces and left.  Conner left immediately to follow Zeltrax.  Later, the rest of the Rangers caught up to Zeltrax and Conner.  Conner now had battle armor and was battling Zeltrax.  The battled ended with Zeltrax retreating and less powerful than before.  Another day, Trent walked with Dr. O, Ethan, and Kira.  They were heading towards the new tree planting ceremony.  Trent thought it was too bad that Zeltrax had messed up the life force spring, he felt it could have helped a lot of people.  Dr. O told him that like all good things, too much wasn't good.

Trent does have one experience as a Ranger, that he has no memories of.  It had started out as a typical day.  Trent was laying the grass, drawing a sketch of Kira and Ethan, who were sitting on a bench.  They were just outside Reefside High School.  Kira was strumming her guitar and Ethan was playing on his game boy.  Ethan:  Great!  I was just about to defeat the dreaded Maxadrone when his evil ship comes by and destroys all that I have done.  Can you believe it?  Kira:  It's just a game, Ethan.  Trent added:  Yeah, you're acting as if it's real.  Ethan:  What if it is real?  What if this game is really an ancient diary telling me about a real event that happened in a distant galaxy...far, far away.  Trent and Kira glanced at each other.  Kira:  Ethan, your mind is the only thing that is far, far away.  Trent:  Oaaaaahh.  A soccer ball rolled by and Ethan stopped it with his foot.  Conner walked up to them.  Conner:  Hey guys!  What's up?  Kira:  Oh, Ethan's giving us a history lesson on something he learn on his hand held geek boy.  Ethan:  All right, you're right!  It's not ancient, galactic history.  Kira:  Finally.  Conner told Ethan to remember it was only a game.  Suddenly a huge space ship flew over Reefside High School.  Trent and his friends watched it fly over in stunned amazement.  Trent and his friends started walking.  Kira thought if Ethan was predicting the future, the least he could do was make her a pop star.  Ethan told her he didn't know it would come true.  Trent felt that they ought to find Dr. O.  Zeltrax and a couple of Tyrannodrones appear in front of them and Zeltrax told them it looks like they found him instead.  Before Trent and his friends could battle, the huge space ship flew over head and beamed Zeltrax and the Tyrannodrones away.  Trent wondered where the space ship had taken Zeltrax.  Kira didn't care as long as it was far away, and hopefully Zeltrax would be sold for scrap heap.  Ethan thought it was all good - Zeltrax and the space ship gone.  Conner told his friends Zeltrax may be gone, but they are not.  Conner pointed out a space shuttle with three emerging people from it.  Z, Bridge, and Jack emerged from the space shuttle.  Jack called out a greeting to Conner, Kira, and Ethan.  Jack told Trent that he must be Trent.  Trent was startled and his friends were as well.  Jack, Z, and Bridge joined their group and explained.  Z, Bridge, and Jack are Power Rangers from the future, year 2025.  Their mortal enemy had traveled through a wormhole, to conquer Earth now, so that it would already be conquer in the future.  Bridge, Jack, and Z knew Conner, Kira, and Ethan, because they had been brought to the future, and had helped the S.P.D.'s Rangers battle.  The reason they couldn't remember, was because their memories were erased.  Jack's communicator went off.  Jack told them there were three separate Krybot readings.  Jack and Bridge prepared to go and Jack told Trent, Conner, Kira, and Ethan to stay.  Kira, temper flaring, told Jack no.  Kira added that their enemy had joined forces with Zeltrax.  Conner told them this was their fight as well.  Trent and Ethan agreed.  Jack reluctantly let them help.  Jack and Bridge went in separate directions to find the Krybots.  Trent, Kira, Conner, and Ethan stayed with Z as they searched for Krybots.  Later, Bridge and Jack returned, successful.  Z was frustrated that they hadn't found anything, when the Krybot readings were off the chart.  Suddenly, Zeltrax fell out of the sky, followed closely by Black Ranger.  Jack noticed more Troobian forces arriving.  Trent and his friends realized there were numerous Tyrannodrones, Krybots, Blueheads, and Orangeheads.  Black Ranger joined their group.  Trent and his friends braced themselves for battle.  Z told them at least it couldn't get any worse.  Moments later, three monsters appeared.  Z, Bridge, and Jack suited up.  Trent, Conner, Ethan, and Trent quickly morphed as well.  The Rangers went into battle.  Later, help arrived in the form of more S.P.D.'s Rangers, Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, Omega Ranger, and Shadow Ranger.  White Ranger and Omega Ranger battled alongside each other.  Eventually Zeltrax decided this was not his battle and retreated.  The Rangers had destroyed the three monsters and the Tyrannodrones.  White Ranger joined the rest of the Rangers in facing down the remaining Troobian forces.  The two Ranger teams used their cannon lasers and destroyed the remaining Blueheads, Orangeheads, and Krybots.  Trent and his friends returned to the outside of Reefside High School.  The cadets were preparing to leave.  Kira didn't see why they had to rush back, but Z explained that the wormhole was closing.  Trent told them thanks and it was an experience he would never forget.  Sky told them that unfortunately, they couldn't let them remember.  Kira realized that they were going to erase their memories.  Commander Cruger held up a device and erase Trent's, Conner's, Kira's, and Ethan's memories.  Trent and his friends were confused.  Commander Cruger barked at them that school was over and to go home.  Trent and his friends walked away in a daze.

Trent was working at Hayley's Cyberspace.  He overheard Conner and Kira talking - they were wondering where Ethan was.  Hayley's Cyberspace was hosting the competition for the Detonation Video Game championship.   Trent told Conner and Kira that as last year's champion, Ethan didn't have to show up until the final.  Although he even wondered why Ethan wasn't there to check out the competition.  Conner and Kira left after Ethan had walked in with a t-shirt declaring that he was detonation man.  Trent was kept busy filling drink orders as the crowd scrambled to get Ethan a drink.  Later, Trent asked Hayley what she thought Ethan's reaction would be when he found out who is challenger was.  Hayley wanted to see the look on Ethan's face.  Trent wondered what would happen if Ethan didn't show up soon.  Hayley told him that baring a natural disaster, Ethan would have to forfeit the game.  No sooner were the words out of Hayley's mouth, then the building began to shake.  Once things calmed down, Trent asked Hayley if she did that.  Trent quickly contacted Dr. O and asked him what was going on.  Dr. O told him that his readings were showing volcanic activity.  Trent wanted to help, but Dr. O told him to stay where he was at and protect the innocent citizens at Cyberspace.  After the Rangers defeated the monster, the competition was back on.  Trent was the announcer for the competition.  He announced Ethan James as the current champion - followed by a large amount of applause.  Trent then announced the challenger - Devin Del Valle.  The applause was less for Devin.  Trent had the game begin and he walked between the two players watching the game.  Ethan had broke through his old record and thought he had won the game.  Trent pointed out that Devin was still playing.  Devin soon surpassed Ethan's score and won the game.  Trent announced Devin as the new champion and shook his hand.

Trent went into his father's greenhouse and found his dad working on some plants.  He asked him if he had found a way to make Brussels sprouts edible.  His father was surprised to see him and asked him what he was doing.  Trent told his dad that he had heard that he had won the Greenleaf award for botanical research.  He gave his father a hug.  His dad accepted his graduations and told him he only wished he was successful in his other projects.  Trent asked him if he had any process in keeping Mesogog under control.  His father made a noise and Trent knew that might no.  Trent offered to tell the Rangers - maybe they could help him.  His father refused and insisted that all he needed was time to work on the problem.  Trent reluctantly accepted his father's wishes.  Cassidy and Devin burst in.  Cassidy had heard of the award as well and wanted to interview Dr. Mercer.  Trent stayed close by his father's side, during the interview.  When Cassidy questioned whether we were seeing a kinder, gentler, Dr. Mercer, Trent told her that his father's experiment have always been for the benefit of mankind.  During the interview, Dr. Mercer turned away and didn't look so good.  Trent knew what was happening.  He quickly told Cassidy and Devin that the interview was over and ushered them outside.  Trent told his dad he would check on him soon.  After some time, Trent returned to the greenhouse.  He was surprised to see several of the plants smashed to the ground.  He called out for his dad, but received no answer.  In the midst of his searching, Trent began to feel weak.  He clutched to a table as pain gripped him.  When he recovered, he left the greenhouse.  Hayley contacted him via his bracelet and asked him if he was okay.  Trent told her what had happened to him in the greenhouse.  Hayley told Trent to come over to Dr. Oliver's lab.  Trent was planning to head straight there, but he was stopped by the evil White Ranger.  The evil White Ranger wanted to battle Trent and Trent was up to the challenge.  Trent morphed and the battle begun.  The evil White Ranger told him that only one of them could survive and it would depend on who wanted it more.  Trent fought with honor and eventually destroyed the evil white Ranger.  He then headed towards the Rangers - who were having difficulty battling Skortch and Jade Gladiator.  Trent noticed their tense looks and he demorphed in front of them.  He joking asked who were they expecting and his friends gathered around him.  The Rangers still had work to do.  They all morphed and went into their zords to finish off the two monsters.  Conner told Trent that the only way to destroyed them was to join all the dino zords, including Drago zord.  Trent agreed.  Using all the dino zords to form Thundersaurus Full Power, the Rangers were able to destroyed Skortch and Jade Gladiator.  Later, Trent went to work at Hayley's Cyberspace.  He was surprised when his dad walked in.  His dad took him to one side and gave him his Greenleaf award.  His father told him that he has done more to help people than he had.  Trent wanted to give his dad some hope and told him that he knew that he could solve the problem of Mesogog.  His dad left the award on the counter and Trent watched his dad leave.  Kira joined him and asked him if his dad was okay, she thought he looked tense.  Trent told her it was just a project that his father was working on.  Kira told Trent that his dad was a smart man and that he would figure it out.  Trent pretended that Kira's words brought him comfort, but when she left, he pondered the difficult situation his father and he were both in.

Trent and Kira were studying at Hayley's Cyberspace.  Kira asked Trent if he recognized the guy at the bar.  Trent glanced over and asked her if it was the guy with the blue cap.  Kira said yes, and Trent told her that he didn't recognized him.  Kira told him that he looked really familiar to her.  Trent told Kira to ask the guy, but Kira said she couldn't just go up to a guy she didn't know.  Trent suggested they go back to their studying.  But Kira was continuing to stare at the guy and Trent commented that it was bugging her.  Kira agreed.  Trent told her again to go ask the guy and this time Kira did.  Trent watch her go and watched from the coach.  Trent was no longer studying, but flipping through pages and listening to their conversation.  The young man invited Kira to watch him at a motocross event, and Kira asked the young man if he was asking her on a date.  Trent simply shook his head and tried to get back to study, but he wasn't happy about what was happening between Kira and the young man.  Later, Trent was contacted by Dr. Oliver and told to met at his house.  Hayley, Kira, Conner, and Ethan were there as well.  The screen showed the Ninja Rangers, two generals, and several Kelzaks attacking Reefside.  Trent had thought they were the only Rangers left.  Hayley believed that the Abyss of Evil was opened and that Lothor was freed.  Dr. Oliver sent Ethan, Conner, and Kira to check the situation.  Dr. Oliver told Trent to stay as it was the type of situation Mesogog would take advantage of.

Later, Trent returned to Dr. O's home.  Trent sat beside Kira as he listened to Cam and Hunter tell everyone (Conner, Shane, Ethan, Dr. O, Sensei Kanoi, Tori, Dustin, Blake, and Hayley) what had happened when they went into the Abyss of Evil.  The computer beeped and the screen showed that Elsa, Zurgane, the generals, several monsters, Triptoids, Tyrannodrones, and Kelzaks were assembling.  It was time for the Rangers to go into action.  Trent and the rest of the Rangers headed towards the battle ground.  Trent and the rest of the Rangers morphed and went into battle.  Trent worked together with Cam.  It was an intense battle.  Trent and Cam managed to destroy the Wolf Blades and several of the Triptoids.  The Rangers won the battle and afterwards gathered together.  Marah and Kapri appeared and with Lothor's bottle released the ninja students.  Trent and the rest returned to Dr. O's home.  Hayley informed Shane, Dustin, Tori, Blake, Hunter, and Cam that their powers were no more.  Marah and Kapri explained how they rescued Sensei Kanoi from Lothor.  Everyone was happy to return to their normal lives.

Hayley's Cyberspace was closed, but Trent, Kira, Conner, and Ethan were inside studying.  Trent sat across from Kira at the table and gave her a smile as he studied for a test.  Dr. O walked in and asked them what they were doing there so late.  They all told him the various school projects they were working on.  Dr. O suggested that they all go home and get a good night's sleep.  Kira, Conner, and Ethan left with Dr. O.  Trent stayed behind to continue studying for his test.  The night progressed and it was getting hard to stay awake, but Trent continued studying, unaware that Elsa was watching him and waiting for him to go to sleep.  Later that night, Kira contacted him via their communicator.  Kira told him something strange was going on and that whatever he does, not to go to sleep.  Trent wearily replied that was easier said than done.  Eventually, sleep overtook Trent and he contently snore away at Cyberspace, unaware that his friends had found him asleep on the couch. 

Trent was playing soccer with Ethan and Conner's on the school's soccer field.  Trent score a goal and raise his arms in victory.  Ethan was thrilled with the novice overthrowing the champ.  Conner asked Trent where he had learned a move like that.  Trent told the guys, as they walked along, that he had taken soccer when he was young.  He guess he still remembered some move.  Conner told him that he needed a practice buddy for tomorrow around 10:00.  Trent had to decline.  He told the guys that Carson Brady was going to be at Hayley's Cyberspace, signing copies of his latest book.  Ethan recognized the name of the cartoon artist.  Trent told them that Carson was who had inspired him to become a cartoon artist.  The following day, Trent stood in line with numerous other fans waiting for Carson.  When Trent reached the table, he told Carson what a thrill it was to met him.  Trent asked him to sign one of his comics.  Carson was impressed when the comic was a rare one.  Trent told Carson that he wanted to be a cartoon artist and Carson told him he would like to see some of his work.  Trent also told Carson that his dad did not approve of his ambition.  Carson told him that his dad was the same way, but once he saw how happy it made him, he change his mind.  Trent didn't think that was going to happened.  Trent left and more fans gathered around the table.  The following day, Trent was working at Cyberspace when Carson walked in.  Carson had just completed his latest comic and wanted to give Trent a copy.  Trent was thrilled.  Carson left and Trent began looking through the comic book.  He couldn't believe his eyes.  Hayley stopped by and Trent asked Hayley to take a look at the comic book.  The comic book was about the Rangers and it had Conner, Ethan, Kira, and Dr. O in it.  Hayley asked Trent if he had said anything to Carson, which he replied that he hadn't.  He stopped at the panel that showed Dr. O asking Trent for him.  Trent thought it was like the Rangers were in the comic.  Hayley asked Trent to see the end and Trent was stunned to see that the Rangers don't survive.  He also wondered why he was not in the comic.  Hayley thought it might be some evil plot for Trent to see what was happening to his friends.  Trent decided to go after Carson and left Cyberspace.  He caught up with Carson outside and asked him what he meant by the comic book.  Trent was not happy about the Rangers not surviving.  Carson couldn't really remember drawing the book - it was all a blur.  Trent told Carson that he could not publish the comic book.  Carson looked at Trent in disbelief.  Carson told Trent that it was his best work and there was no way he wasn't going to take it to the publishers.  Trent took a quick glance around and then asked Carson to step back.  Unsure, Carson took a few steps back.  Trent morphed into the White Ranger.  At first, Carson thought it was a joke.  But Trent explained that it was the only way he could get Carson to listen.  He told Carson that he believed that the Rangers were trapped in his comic book.  Carson asked what he could do.  Trent asked for the pen he had used to draw the comic book.  Using the pen, Trent drew himself into the comic book.  Once he did that, he entered the comic book dimension.  He was just in time to help the Rangers against Fridgia.  The Rangers went into super dino mode.  They then used their dino gems against Fridgia.  This also enabled them to break free from the comic book.  Carson was stunned when the Rangers suddenly appeared and told them not to mind him as he geeked out.  Unfortunately Fridgia had also broken freed.  Trent told Carson that it looked like there was going to be another chapter.  Carson hid as the Rangers battle and eventually destroyed Fridgia.  Later, Trent was thrilled to work on a comic book with Carson.  They sat at a table together in Cyberspace, signing copies.  Carson almost blew Trent's cover when he commented that who knew super heroes better than him.  Trent was amazed that Carson's publishers were okay with Carson working with an unknown artist.  Carson admitted that his publishers were not okay.  Carson had the whole thing bankrolled by Anton Mercer.  Trent smiled.

Trent was sitting in his science class listening to Dr. Oliver's lecture on various dinosaurs.  Dr. Oliver had asked a question, but no one in the class answer.  Dr. Oliver called on Ethan, but Ethan didn't response.  Dr. Oliver asked the class if someone could tell him what was wrong with Ethan.  Kira told Dr. Oliver that Ethan was bummed because Principal Randall had taken his and Devin's "Dragon Wars" cards.  Trent laughed along with the rest of the class.  Dr. Oliver told Ethan he would see what he could do about getting the cards back, if Ethan paid attention in class.  After school, Trent walked out with Conner and Kira.  They all stopped in their tracks.  Dr. Oliver and Principal Randall were fighting on the school grounds.  Conner and Kira couldn't figure it out.  Trent told them that maybe Dr. Oliver knew something they didn't and when they asked him what, Trent couldn't give them an answer.  He simply told them there must be a reason why Dr. Oliver was fighting Principal Randall.  Ethan joined them and told them that Principal Randall was Elsa.  Everyone except Trent was shocked by this news.  In front of the school, Principal Randall transformed into Elsa.  Elsa vanished through an invisiportal.  Trent walked along with Ethan, Conner, and Kira.  He kept silent as the others discussed how come they never figured out Principal Randall and Elsa were the same person.  Ethan was still upset, as Elsa had left with his Ruby Dragon card.  Wanting to do something, Trent told them that he had a plan to get Ethan's card back.  He didn't offered them any explanation and simply left.  Trent used an invisiportal and entered Mesogog's fortress.  He found Elsa immediately.  Trent told Elsa she must have more time on her hand since her identity had been revealed.  Trent asked Elsa for the Ruby Dragon card back, but Elsa was not going to give the card back.  Trent told Elsa how would his dad react when he discovered that Elsa's identity had been blown.  Elsa replied about the same way the Rangers would react when they discovered Trent's secret.  Trent didn't have a reply to that one, as he knew what Elsa had just said was true.  He again asked for the card back, but Elsa told him he would have to fight for it.  Trent and Elsa battled in Mesogog's lab.  During the battle, Trent got knocked aside and accidentally set off the equipment that changed the Ruby Dragon card into the Ruby Dragon monster.  Trent slowly got up.  Elsa walked over to the Ruby Dragon and instructed the monster to attack Trent.  Trent was knocked to the ground by the monster and couldn't get up.  Later, it was Trent's dad who discovered him still laying on the floor.  Anton Mercer raced to Trent's side and asked him if he was okay.  Trent was still a little dizzy, but he was okay as his dad helped him up.  Anton Mercer asked Trent where Elsa was and Trent couldn't answer him.  Suddenly, Anton Mercer did not look so good and Trent knew that Mesogog was trying to take over.  Trent urged his dad to fight it, he needed his father at the moment.  But Anton Mercer told Trent that Mesogog was too strong and to go.  Trent did not want to leave his dad.  Mesogog's screen showed the Rangers battling Ruby Dragon.  Anton Mercer told Trent that his friends needed him and to go.  Once again, Trent left his dad to join the Rangers.  Morphed, Trent joined in the battle.  He wanted to take on Ruby Dragon by himself.  The other Rangers thought he was being foolish.  Ruby Dragon hinted that Trent had a secret.  Elsa and several Tyrannodrones joined in.  Elsa also dropped hints that Trent had a secret.  Conner asked him what they were taking about.  Trent told him it was a ploy to distract them.  Eventually Ruby Dragon and Elsa retreated.  The Rangers surrounded Trent and asked him what Elsa was talking about.  The Rangers all returned back to Dr. Oliver's home.  Dr. Oliver stressed the importance of trusting one another as a team.  Trent was still bound by his promise to his dad and couldn't tell them what Elsa and Ruby Dragon had been hinting about.  Instead, Trent used going to Mesogog's fortress on his own as the "secret".  Trent told them he only wanted to get Ethan's card back, but instead got knocked down pretty hard.  Trent told them that he barely made it back to help them.   Dr. Oliver was not happy about him being along on Mesogog's fortress and told him to never do it again.  Trent admitted that it was stupid.  Ethan and Conner accepted his story and told Dr. Oliver that they would have done the same thing.  Kira asked Trent if that was his big secret.  Trent paused for a moment, it was very hard for him to lie to Kira.  He then told her yes, that was his secret.   Feeling torn, Trent used the excuse that his head still hurt and left.  Later, Trent joined the Rangers in their battle against Ruby Dragon.  The battle escalated to zords.  Using their three zords, the Rangers were able to destroy Ruby Dragon.  The following day, Trent walked into Reefside High School with his dad.  They were stopped by Dr. Oliver, Ethan, Conner, and Kira.  Trent's dad and Dr. Oliver talked.  Trent flashed a smile at Kira as Anton Mercer told Dr. Oliver he understood that they were looking for a new principal.  Dr. Oliver asked Anton Mercer if he was interested.  Trent smiled even more when Kira immediately replied that she was sure that Dr. Mercer was too busy to run a school.  Anton Mercer told everyone to stay calm, that Kira was right.  Anton Mercer's pager went off and Anton Mercer reached for it in his coat pocket.  As Anton Mercer removed the pager, the Ruby Dragon card fell out.  It was an awkward moment as Ethan picked up the card and asked Dr. Mercer were he got the card.  Anton Mercer replied that he didn't know how the card got into his coat pocket.  Anton Mercer asked Trent if it was his.  With a forced smile on his face, Trent replied that it wasn't his and he didn't know how the card got there.  His dad began to sway and Dr. Oliver caught him.  Dr. Oliver asked Anton Mercer if he was okay and Anton Mercer told him that he was fine and to leave him alone.  Anton Mercer got up and started running down the hall.  Dr. Oliver, Ethan, Conner, and Kira chased after Dr. Mercer.  Trent raced behind his friends, pleading with them to leave his dad alone, that he would be okay.  But Dr. Oliver was convinced that Anton Mercer needed to see a doctor.  They all ended up in the science room.  Trent watched helplessly as his dad turned to face them and transformed into Mesogog.  Kira immediately turned to Trent and asked him if this was his big secret.  Trent tried to explain that it was his dad, how could he tell them.  But Kira wouldn't listen.  Mesogog accused Trent of betraying him.  Trent told Mesogog that he had never betrayed him.  Conner lashed out that it was them that Trent had betrayed.  Trent couldn't believe what was happening.  Mesogog transform back to Anton Mercer.  His dad apologized before vanishing through an invisiportal.  Trent looked at his friends and there was no one compassionate face to be found.

The rest of the Rangers left Trent.  Dr. O returned later to ask Trent if he would return with him.  Trent walked into Dr. O's home with Dr. O to overhear Conner tell the others nothing has changed about Trent.  Trent burst out that he had never let his feelings interfere with his Ranger duties.  Conner wasn't accepting that, he didn't trust Trent and let him know it.  Even Dr. O told Trent that he had placed them in a difficult position.  Trent faced them all and asked them what he could do to fix the problem.  He knew he had done a lot of damage and he had no excuse, but things had not been easy for him either.  He told the Rangers of how the evil white gem had found him.  The discovery that Mesogog was his dad.  Trent wanted to help his dad and kept his promise not to reveal his secret.  Trent had to get rid of the evil White clone before he could help his dad.  Trent apologized for not telling them about his dad.  His father had thought he could find a way to get rid of Mesogog and Trent thought so too.  He now realized that he was wrong.  Trent also told the Rangers that his dad was the only family that he had.  Dr. O was sympathetic.  He also told them being a Power Ranger was the best thing that had every happened to him.  Anton Mercer was a friend of Dr. O's and he understood Trent's loyalty, but he didn't know if the rest of the Rangers did.  A monster appeared on the computer screen.  Dr. O thought this was a good opportunity for Trent to prove himself.  Only Conner was upset that the rest of the Rangers were trusting Trent again.  Trent promised that he only wanted to help.  Conner hoped so.  The Rangers morphed and faced the monster.  At one point the monster tossed Trent and Dr. O into the water.  They quickly recovered.  Trent stopped the monster from dealing Conner a deadly blow and told the monster if he wanted Conner, he would have to go through him.  The battle moved to zords.  Trent could see that the Rangers were having a difficult time.  He called for his zords and began to battle, and eventually, destroyed the monster.  Trent returned with the others back to Dr. O's house.  Kira and Ethan were full of praise for him.  Trent was thrilled and told them he only wanted to help, if they would have him.  Dr. O, Kira, and Ethan were ready to have Trent on the time.  Dr. O asked Conner his thoughts.  Conner turned and faced Trent, he had only one question.  Conner asked Trent if he was really sure that he wanted to do this.  Conner pointed out that there was a very good possibility that one day he would have to face Mesogog.  Trent knew this and told Conner that if Mesogog wins, his dad is lost forever.  He told them that he would do whatever it took to defeat Mesogog.

Trent stayed hidden at Mesogog's fortress.  He was able to obtain information for the Rangers.  Trent told Dr. Oliver that Mesogog and his father had been separated.  Trent continued to stay hidden and watched as Mesogog prepared his transmogrification beam to transfer humans into mutant dinosaurs.  Mesogog needed the dino gems to power up his beam.  Mesogog decided to start with the power he had given Elsa.  Elsa was captured by several Tyrannodrones and strapped to a table.  Mesogog pointed a laser at her and eventually Elsa disappeared.  Trent had witness the whole scene silently.  Trent could no longer see his dad.  He walked up to Mesogog and demanded to know where his father was at.  Mesogog told Trent that his father was in storage.  Trent told Mesogog that nothing had better happened to his dad.  Mesogog was unconcern, what could Trent do.  Trent told Mesogog that he could get Mesogog the dino gems, but that Mesogog would have to exchange the dino gems for his dad.  Mesogog agreed, although he didn't know what Trent wanted with his father.  Mesogog told Trent that his father was as useless as Elsa was now.  Mesogog didn't know whether to trust Trent and told him so.  Trent didn't know if he could trust Mesogog either, but neither had much choice.  Trent left and soon was contacted by Dr. O.  Dr. O told Trent that Zeltrax had been seen at the steel plant.  Trent and the rest of the Rangers raced over to the steel plant.  Zeltrax was there and a battle broke out.  Defeating Zeltrax was difficult and the Rangers had to morph.  Dr. Oliver heard a woman calling for help.  Dr. Oliver told the Rangers that he was going to search for the woman.  Trent and the rest of the Rangers continued their battle with Zeltrax.  Zeltrax tricked the Rangers into defeating his decoy instead of him.  Afterwards, Trent and the rest of the Rangers saw Dr. Oliver walking and supporting a woman.  They went over to see what was going on.  Trent immediately recognized the woman as Elsa.  Weakly, Elsa confirmed that the creature had called her Elsa before collapsing.  Dr. Oliver decided to take Elsa back to his lab.  The rest of the Rangers went to Dr. Oliver's lab as well.  Once they had Elsa resting comfortably, Dr. Oliver asked Trent what was going on.  Trent told the Rangers of Mesogog's plans and how he used the energy he had given Elsa to start his beam.  Trent told the Rangers of his plan to give Mesogog the dino gems, which would allow him to open the invisiportal and allow the Rangers access to Mesogog's fortress island.  Trent could also rescue his father at the same time.  Dr. Oliver thought the plan was too risky, but Hayley felt that they didn't have much of a choice.  Each Ranger gave Trent their dino gem.  Conner told Trent that the plan better work and Trent told him it would.  Trent told the Rangers he would contact them when he entered the invisiportal.  Trent left Dr. Oliver's lab and went home.  In his father's home office, Trent activated the invisiportal.  He contacted the Rangers and told them he was going in.  Trent went through the invisiportal and landed in Mesogog's lab.  Trent could not see his father anywhere.  Mesogog was impatient for the dino gems and berated Trent for taking so long.  Mesogog walked up to Trent to take the dino gems, but Trent yanked them away.  He wasn't about to give Mesogog the dino gems and demanded to know where his father was.  Mesogog used his powerful beam on Trent.  Trent clutched his head as he fell to the floor.  Mesogog had grabbed the dino gems and immediately began powering up his laser.  Trent was very weak, but he crawled along the floor.  He reached up and pressed the button that operated the invisiportal.  Mesogog quickly spotted the Rangers and their new vehicle and turned on Trent.  Trent told Mesogog he should know better than to trust him.  He also told Mesogog that he was finished.  Eventually, Hayley destroyed Mesogog's laser.  Trent watched as Mesogog fell backwards onto some equipment that exploded.  Mesogog's lab was falling apart, as was his island.  Trent quickly grabbed the dino gems.  Trent searched through the falling rumble for his dad.  He found his dad and told him that they had to go.  His dad tried to apologized, but Trent told him that they didn't have time.  Trent, supporting his father, raced along to get out safely.  Trent and his dad fell out of the sky and landed in the rock quarry in front of his friends.  His friends gathered around them and Kira happily told them that they were all right.  Dr. O asked Trent about Mesogog and Trent told him that he believed that Mesogog had been destroyed.  He also told Dr. O that just in case and revealed that he had the dino gems.  Dr. O gave him a smile.  Trent's dad told Dr. O that he didn't know what to say.  Dr. O that Anton Mercer that they would talk later, that they still had Zeltrax to contend with.

Trent, Hayley, and the rest of the Rangers returned to Dr. Oliver's lab.  They discovered the place had been trashed and Elsa was missing.  Conner had noticed a small box and asked Hayley what it was as he handed it to her.  Hayley replied that it was like a black box and it had a security camera in it.  Hayley hooked up the box to a laptop and the security tape began to play.  Trent and the rest of the Rangers watched the tape and saw Zeltrax destroying the lab and taking Elsa.  Anton blamed himself, but Trent told him he couldn't help what he did as Mesogog.  Dr. Oliver agreed with Trent.  The Rangers had to wait for Zeltrax's next move.  Zeltrax appeared in his Zelzord in the city by the movie theater.  The Rangers morphed and were there within minutes.  Zeltrax sent several Triptoids to the ground.  Dr. Oliver entered the Zelzord to rescue Elsa.  Conner, Ethan, and Kira entered their zords.  Trent battled the Triptoids.  After he finished off the last Triptoids, Kira and Elsa appeared on the ground.  Trent was glad to see they were okay.  Dr. Oliver soon followed along with Zeltrax.  Trent took Elsa to safety while Dr. Oliver and Kira destroyed Zeltrax.  Conner and Ethan had to auto destruct their zords to destroy the Zelzord.  Trent, Dr. Oliver, Kira, and Elsa went searching for Ethan and Conner.  Through the haze of smoke, Conner and Ethan appeared.  Conner and Ethan were upset over the destruction of the zords.  Dr. Oliver told them it had to be done and Trent agreed that it had been the only way.  Mesogog's voice reached them and Trent and the rest of the Rangers turned around and were stunned to see that Mesogog had survived.  Dr. Oliver instructed Elsa to step aside.  Mesogog mutated into Mesomonster.  Trent and the rest of the Rangers morphed into super dino mode and battled Mesogog.  They used everything they had on him.  Soon Mesomonster began to replicate.  Dr. Oliver told them that they will have to use the full power of the dino gems to defeat Mesomonster.  The Rangers assembled and called upon the dino gems.  The dino gems energy formed a fiery T-Rex that defeated the several Mesomonster.  Afterwards, the Rangers powered down.  Trent felt different, more like normal.  Ethan realized that they no longer had the power.  Dr. Oliver told them that the dino gems were simply ancient artifacts now.  Trent and the rest of the Rangers turned around and spotted Cassidy, followed by Devin and Elsa.  Cassidy called them Rangers and it was obvious that she knew their secret.  Cassidy held up a tape and told them she had the stuff that makes a career.  Dr. Oliver asked Cassidy if she understood what the tape would do to their lives.  Cassidy replied that she did and handed it to Dr. Oliver.  Cassidy told them that they were her friends and she couldn't do that to them after everything they had done for them.  Cassidy and Devin left for the prom, Elsa followed them.  Conner commented that just like that their lives return to normal.  Dr. Oliver told them that their lives might be back to normal, but that they would never be the same.  They all walked off together.  Trent attended the Reefside Senior Prom.  He was standing on a balcony and noticed Conner and Ethan below.  Trent hollered a hello to them.  Trent was standing with Dr. Oliver and his dad.  Dr. Oliver asked Trent what were his plans.  Trent replied that he was really excited because he would be attending art school in the fall.  Dr. Oliver asked his dad how he felt about that.  Anton Mercer replied that he couldn't be more proud.  Anton Mercer asked Dr. Oliver, the man who had done everything, what his plans were.  Dr. Oliver replied that he planned on staying and leading the quiet life of a teacher.  Elsa joined them and told them she wasn't sure about that as she heard the new principal was a real hard nose.  Trent watched as his dad asked Elsa to dance.  Dr. Mercer and Elsa left to dance.  Dr. Oliver told Trent he had to go to.  Trent was surprised and asked him why so soon.  Dr. Oliver told him he had to introduce the band.  Dr. Oliver went on stage and gave the senior class a small speech about the difficult year they had had.  Dr. Oliver told them that they had made it and it was now time for some fun.  Dr. Oliver introduced the band - Kira Ford.  Trent joined his friends in cheering Kira on.
