DECA

DECA is a the Astro Megaship's onboard computer.  DECA is able to do a retina scan on intruders.  DECA has small black cameras throughout the ship.  In the center of each camera is a red light that flashes when DECA speaks.    DECA has a female voice.

Andros gave a tour of the Astro Megaship to his new team, Cassie, Carlos, T.J., and Ashley.  Andros told them that DECA had eyes and ears all over the ship.  DECA told the Rangers that she could speak over 3,000 languages, navigate all known galaxies, and is certified in medicine and psychology.  There is also a mute button that Andros and Alpha 6 used on DECA when they no longer want to hear her.

DECA kept a close eye on Andros.  She asked Andros if he was spying when Andros was watching the monitors and observing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  DECA would later be reprogrammed by the Turtles (who were under an evil spell) and claimed that she was certified turtlefied.  The spell would eventually be broken and DECA was reprogrammed back to herself.  Donetello apologized to DECA for what they had done and asked if there were no hard feelings.  DECA stated that she was not programmed to hold grudges and then sent a small surge of electricity to shock Donetello.    DECA also helped Andros in searching for his missing sister, Karone.  DECA would scan various planets looking for signs of Karone.

During quiet times, DECA would play chess with Alpha 6.  Alpha 6 was quite capable of bluffing and would fool DECA into making the wrong move.  DECA also work along side Alpha 6 on numerous occasions.  The Rangers had been tricked into landing on a planet, when they did, Astronema formed a web around the Astro Megaship and the Rangers were unable to morph.  Ecliptor had boarded the ship and try to take over.  DECA would not let him without the password.  DECA and Alpha 6 sabotage several of Ecliptor's attempts to take over the ship.  DECA and Alpha 6 were unable to stop Ecliptor from discovering the whereabouts of the Mega Voyager.

Astronema tried to conquer the universe and was stopped by Zordon's death that released an energy of goodness that went through the universe.  The wave of goodness turned all evil either to dust or back to human form.  Through her brother's tears, Astronema was reverted back to Karone.  Several years later, the Astro Megaship was taken aboard Terra Venture.  Terra Venture was a space colony traveling to find a new word.  The Astro Megaship was to be a museum and DECA made announcements to the visitors who toured the Astro Megaship.  Alpha 6 served as a guide.  But that all changed when a young man, Kai, decided to use the Astro Megaship to rescue his friends who had gone through a portal.  Damon, the ship's mechanic, reluctantly helped Kai rescued his friends.  The group become the Lost Galaxy Power Rangers.  DECA was no longer an announcer at a museum, but was helping the Rangers, once again, on their various missions.  

Trakeena launched an attack against Terra Venture.  The Rangers used the Astro Megaship to try and stop her.  Trakeena used the Scorpion Stinger to crush the Astro Megaship.  Leo decided the only way to stop Trakeena as to put the Astro Megaship on self-destruct.  The self-destruct was activated and DECA announced the initiation of the self-destruction sequence.  DECA was destroyed when the Megaship exploded.
