Andros leaves the Megaship and goes to the Dark Fortress, hoping to find Astronema and convince her not to destroy Earth.  The citizens of Angel Grove are wondering where the Power Rangers are, and when they'll arrive and surrender, thereby saving the planet.   But before they can reveal themselves, Bulk, Skull, the Professor, and Adelle step forward claiming that they're the Rangers.   Other people follow suit, and soon everyone is claiming to be Rangers, trying to save the Rangers as they have saved the people so many times in the past.  The real Ranges arrive (without Andros) and morph, fighting Quantrons, and causing Astronema to leave in anger.  Andros breaks into the Dark Fortress, and finds Zordon, who tells him he must destroy his tube and release the good energy stored within it to defeat the forces of evil.  When Andros hesitates, Astronema and Ecliptor attack him.  Defending himself, Andros deals a strong blow to Astronema.  It appears she is dead.  He then destroys Zordon's tube, and the energy washes out in a gold flow, ridding the Universe of all evil.
