Rangers Gone Psycho - Page Three

She tells the teens, I thought maybe you guys fell off the edge of the Earth.  As she places the trays on the table, the teens make a mad grab for the burgers and fries.  Adelle notes, wherever you've been, you sure brought back an appetite.  As Adelle leaves, Carlos grabs one more basket of fries off her tray and tells her thank-you.  As the teens hungrily eat, Cassie tells them, the Synthetron never makes a hamburger as good as Adelle's.   The rest of the teens smile in agreement and continue to eat.  After a few moments, they hear a familiar sound - the sound of their communicator.  They glance at their communicators and prepare to leave, when they hear the sound again.  The teens glance around.  At the next table, Mandy is pressing a few buttons on a device on the table.  Cassie, TJ, Carlos, Andros, and Ashley slowly sit back down.  They hear the sound again and Ashley notices Mandy at the next table.  Ashley greets Mandy and asks her, what is that?  Mandy is very happy to show off her new Copernicus 2000. It keeps addresses, messages, any thing you could want.  It's like having a second brain.  Ashley asks if she can see it?  Mandy hands over her Copernicus 2000.  Ashley tells Mandy thanks as Mandy passes the device.  Ashley is impressed and shows it to Cassie and TJ.  TJ presses a button and it emits the familiar communicator sound.  They all chuckle as they realize they have been hearing Mandy's Copernicus 2000.  Ashley tells Mandy, very cool, as she hands the device back to Mandy.  Carlos tells his friends, that thing sounds just like our communicator.  Cassie and Carlos walk up to the counter.  A waiter brings them a tray of drinks as the TV plays in the background.  After taking a drink, Cassie notices the broadcast.  Carlos takes the tray and is about to walk away, when Cassie stops him.  The TV reporter is talking about destroyed buildings.  Carlos watches the news with Cassie.  The TV reporter continues stating the culprits struck like a tornado, tearing everything to shreds.  The TV reporter has a witness but then spots the "Power Rangers".  Cassie gives Carlos a confused glance.  The TV shows the "Power Rangers" walking through the destruction.  The TV reporter hopes they can get a word with the Rangers and they will be able to shed some light onto what had happened.  Carlos and Cassie are glued to the report.
