JIMMY
Jimmy - Jonathan Mahon-Heap
Jimmy was riding his bike through the woods, heading towards his kung fu class. He stopped for a moment to take a drink of water. As he was drinking, he heard noises. Jimmy got off his bike to investigate. Jimmy hid behind some bushes and trees and was pleasantly surprise to see the Power Rangers sparring. Jimmy: Power Rangers. Red Ranger: Spirit of the tiger! The Rangers were unaware that Jimmy was watching them. Jimmy smile and then took off for his class. Jimmy eagerly told the students of what he had seen. Jimmy: Guys, you're not going to believe this. I saw the Power Rangers training on my way over here. Todd stepped forward. Todd: You're right, we don't believe you. Jimmy always had problems with Todd. Jimmy: I did. I saw them. Todd: Oh yeah, did they ask you to join them and become....Nerd Ranger? Everyone laughed and Jimmy knew no one believe him. Casey entered. Casey: Class. Jimmy and the rest of the students quickly lined up and soon the class began. Jimmy was sparring with another student. Soon Jimmy was knocked down to the mat. Todd walked over, unable to resist the opportunity to harass Jimmy once more. Todd: Can't fight laying on your back Nerd Ranger. The class laughed once more and Jimmy was humiliated. Casey walked over. Casey: I like jokes Todd. Want to share it with the class? Todd: No sir. The class continued, but Jimmy's spirits were low. The following day, Jimmy was back at his kung fu class. Casey was giving him some one on one and was demonstrating how he lets his spirit guide him. Casey didn't look so good and Jimmy asked him if he was okay. Casey told him he was. Casey then had the class do some sparring. Casey teamed Jimmy up with Todd. Jimmy was not happy. Casey reminds him to let his spirit guide him. Jimmy does so and is surprise when he knocks Todd to the mat. Todd is not happy and side swipes Jimmy with his legs, knocking him to the mat. Todd then mocks Jimmy and tells him he is nothing. Jimmy is really upset and Casey ends the class. After the class, Jimmy is leaving when Casey stops him. Casey tells him it's Todd's words that are defeating him, not his skills. It doesn't matter to Jimmy, Todd's words feel true to him. Casey then tells Jimmy that he has the spirit of the tiger. This lifts Jimmy's spirits up. Casey adds just like the Red Ranger. Jimmy leaves feeling pretty good. The following day, Jimmy is walking through the city, heading towards his class. Soon Todd and some of his friends surround him and start giving Jimmy a hard time. Jimmy tells them to leave him alone, but they don't. Suddenly General Whiger arrives. Jimmy takes off running as does the rest of the citizens. Jimmy finds a hiding spot and watches as Casey arrive. Casey soon goes into hiding as well, after he had spotted his students. General Whiger is calling for Red Ranger. Instead Blue Ranger, Wolf Ranger, Rhino Ranger, and Yellow Ranger arrive. The four Rangers battle General Whiger. Jimmy wonders where is Red Ranger. Eventually Red Ranger arrives and Jimmy is thrilled to see him in battle. Red Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Yellow Ranger summon the Claw Cannon, but they cannot make it work because Red Ranger doesn't have enough tiger spirit. Jimmy realizes he can help the Rangers and races over. Jimmy offers to help the three Rangers. Blue Ranger tells him to go, but Red Ranger insists that Jimmy can help them. Red Ranger instructs Jimmy to place his hand on top of his. Jimmy does so and the Claw Cannon works and knocks General Whiger to the ground. Jimmy is thrilled and the Rangers thank him. Jimmy takes off. The Rangers defeat General Whiger. After the battle, Jimmy is in his kung fu class. His classmates hang onto to his words as he tells them of what it felt like to power up the Claw Cannon and help the Rangers. Todd is silent, but the rest of the class is impressed. Casey walks in. Casey points out that Jimmy is a hero and he gets to pick his sparring partner. Jimmy looks around and then picks Todd. Todd tells him that he doesn't want to fight him. Jimmy doesn't either, he wants to spar with him and maybe they can learn something from each other. Jimmy asks if they are friends and Todd tells him yes.
