SENSEI TAMASHIRO

Sensei Tamashiro - Koji Kataoka

Sensei Tamashiro was walking in the woods when he spotted his former student, Chad Lee.  Chad had just finished a training session with his friends, Dana, Kelsey, Carter, and Joel.  They were packing their gear in the Rescue Rover, when Sensei Tamashiro stepped out.  Sensei Tamashiro was very disappointed in Chad and asked him if he had abandoned all of his training.  Chad was happy to see his sensei and called him Mr. Tamashiro.  Sensei Tamashiro told the group that Chad had been his best student and could have been a world-class karate master, but instead he had chosen to become a Power Ranger, which he considered a waste.  Chad was hurt by Sensei Tamashiro's remarks and told him, with all due respect, he had to choose his own path.  Sensei Tamashiro was not swayed and told Chad he had chose the wrong one.  This really hurt Chad, as Sensei Tamashiro had been like a second dad to him.  Later, Sensei Tamashiro would run into Chad and his friends again.  This time the Rangers were battling Cyclopter and Cyclopter had defeated them.  Cyclopter felt that no one could beat him.  Sensei Tamashiro challenged Cyclopter, telling him that he would fight him.  Cyclopter laughed at him, calling him an old man.  Sensei Tamashiro replied who are you calling an old man and tossed the drink carton at Cyclopter's head.  Enraged, Cyclopter went after Sensei Tamashiro.  Sensei Tamashiro made quick work of Cyclopter.  The Rangers demorphed and they were all impressed with Sensei Tamashiro's skill.  Chad, hesitantly, stepped forward and asked him if he would like to see the Aquabase.  Sensei Tamashiro told Chad he had no interest in such foolishness and walked away.  Moments later, Kelsey tapped him on his back and asked him if they could talk.  Kelsey told him that Chad really looked up to him and that he should appreciate him for what he was, the Blue Power Ranger.  Sensei Tamashiro was not swayed and told Kelsey it wasn't what Chad should be and walked off.  Kelsey made a face at Sensei Tamashiro's retreating back.  Sensei Tamashiro quickly turned around and Kelsey stopped and took off.  Later, Sensei Tamashiro was looking at a framed picture of Chad and him.  Cyclopter approached him and asked Sensei Tamashiro if he could be his student.  At first, Sensei Tamashiro refused, stating that Cyclopter was a monster and could not be trusted.  Cyclopter told him that he had left the side of evil and now wanted to learn from the greatest teacher.  Sensei Tamashiro was very flattered.  Loki appeared and told Cyclopter he was supposed to be destroying Rangers.  Cyclopter fought Loki, telling him that he had changed.  Loki told Cyclopter that he would regret this and then vanish.  Sensei Tamashiro was convinced and agreed to teach Cyclopter.  The training began immediately and Sensei Tamashiro was very pleased with Cyclopter's progress.  They were training in the woods when Chad spotted them and rushed in.  Chad had assumed that Cyclopter had been attacking Sensei Tamashiro and was stunned to find out that Sensei Tamashiro was training Cyclopter.  Chad tried to tell Sensei Tamashiro that Cyclopter was a monster and would not keep his word.  Sensei Tamashiro smugly told Chad that he had finally found a student worthy of his training.  Chad battled Cyclopter and ended up on the ground.  Sensei Tamashiro and Cyclopter left together.  Eventually the training ended.  Sensei Tamashiro had taught Cyclopter everything he knew and told him that he had surpassed the teacher.  Cyclopter, not longer needing Sensei Tamashiro, tossed him to the ground.  Sensei Tamashiro laid on the ground, hurting on the inside and outside.  Moments later, Chad found Sensei Tamashiro and asked him if he was okay.  Sensei Tamashiro told Chad that he had been such a fool.  Chad got Sensei Tamashiro to a rock to rest, when the rest of the Rangers contacted him, needing his help.  Chad was prepared to leave, but Sensei Tamashiro stopped him.  Sensei Tamashiro told Chad that he had trained Cyclopter well and that Chad had forgotten his training by now.  Chad insisted that he had not forgotten his training.  Sensei Tamashiro put him through a test and found himself on the ground for the second time.  Chad helped him back to his feet and Sensei Tamashiro.  Sensei Tamashiro told Chad to go with a smile on his face.  Sensei Tamashiro caught up with Chad and the rest of the Rangers as they battled Cyclopter.  Sensei Tamashiro felt a sense of pride as he watched Chad defeated Cyclopter.  Sensei Tamashiro walked away.  The following day, Sensei Tamashiro entered the Aqua Base, led by Kelsey.  Kelsey took Sensei Tamashiro to Joel's and Chad's quarters.  Chad and Joel were surprised to see him.  Sensei Tamashiro humbly asked if it was too late to have a tour of the Aqua Base.  Chad was surprised but quickly started the tour.  As they walked around, Sensei Tamashiro was very impressed with what he saw.  Captain Mitchell and Miss Fairweather entered and Chad introduced them to Sensei Tamashiro.  Sensei Tamashiro shook their hands and proudly told them that his student, Chad, was not the Blue Power Ranger.  Miss Fairweather and Captain Mitchell acted surprised and smiled.  Sensei Tamashiro and Chad gave a small bow to each other.
