Ryan Mitchell - The Titanium Power Ranger

From the time he was a small boy, Ryan was raised by Diabolico.  Diabolico groomed Ryan to be against Lightspeed Rescue Rangers and his father, Captain Mitchell.  Ryan was told that during the car crash his father had chosen his sister, Dana, over him.  Ryan was eager for the opportunity to avenge himself.  He stole the Titanium powers and became the Titanium Power Ranger.  For a while he continued to believe the lies Diabolico told him.  During an encounter with his father, Ryan remembered what had happened during the car crash.  But he was not sure if he had any good in him and did not want to be the Titanium Power Ranger.  Later when he saved a young boy and his family, he realized that he would make a great addition to the team and decided to stay and fight as the Titanium Power Ranger.  Diabolico was not pleased with Ryan's leaving and placed a cobra tattoo on Ryan's back.  Every time Ryan morphed into the Titanium Power Ranger, the cobra moved steadily up Ryan's back towards his neck - where the cobra would strike a fatal bite.  Captain Mitchell refused to let Ryan fight, fearing for his son.  But Ryan could not stand to watch - unable to help the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers (Carter-Red, Chad-Blue, Kelsey-Yellow, Dana-Pink, Joel-Green).  Despite the risk to his life, Ryan snuck aboard the Max Solorzord to help the Rangers.  He helped the Rangers defeat the monsters, but the cobra had moved even closer to his neck.

Ryan was once again, restricted in his efforts to help the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers.  It was simply to frustrating for Ryan to play it safe at the Aquabase.  He decided to take the matter into his own hands.  Ryan tracked down a tomb where the cobra was and defeated the cobra - freeing him from Diabolico's curse.  Ryan could now help the Rangers without any fear for himself.  He was also able to help the Rangers with information about the demon world that he knew.  In the meantime, Diabolico lost his star power and the star power was given to Olympius - Queen Bansheera's son.  Olympius was just as determined to bring his mother back and restore her palace.  Ryan and the rest of the Rangers were just as determined to prevent these events from happening.  After a battle, Ryan was hidden in a pile of rubble.  He witnessed the return of Queen Bansheera.  Ryan filled in the rest of the Rangers about Queen Bansheera.  He knew that the demons were once captured in a tomb, and that it was possible to trapped them again.  Ryan decided to leave Aquabase to search for a way to enclosed the demons.

Ryan made traveled through the deserts.  He witnessed Vypra and Lokia bring Diabolico back.  Ryan tried to warn the other Rangers, but his transmission was weak and broke off at a critical moment.  Ryan explored the underground cavern where Diabolico had been brought back.  He found several ancient writings and began to copy them in this book.  Once he had everything, he set off for the Sorcerer of the Sands.  The combination of heat and exhaustion took it's toll on him and he collapse.  Ryan awoke to find himself inside a tent and a nervous man waiting on him.  The man offered Ryan tea, which he drank gratefully and found himself falling asleep.  The second time he awoke, he was more agitated.  He refused the man's second offer of tea and asked if he knew where the Sorcerer of the Sands was.  The man questioned Ryan about his initiations, when Ryan replied that he wanted to defeat Queen Bansheera, the man quickly went into hiding.  A voice spoke and Ryan spun around looking for the source.  To his surprise, the crow transformed into the man he was seeking - the Sorcerer of the Sands.  The Sorcerer looked over Ryan's book informing him that spells written within were very old and very powerful.  Unfortunately Ryan was missing a crucial item - a key.  The Sorcerer was able to help the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers out of the underworld and he tried to take on destroying Skull Cavern.  Ryan watched the Sorcerer as he chanted the spell, but Diabolico realized what was going on and turned the Sorcerer into dust.  Ryan was shocked.  Anger swept through him when he saw Diabolico through a mirror - mocking his attempts to defeat him.

Ryan continued his search and he eventually located the golden key the Sorcerer of the Sands had spoken about.  He also realized what Queen Bansheera's intentions were - to release the demons from the tomb.  Ryan quickly forewarned the other Rangers, but during the warning, Ryan was captured by Queen Bansheera and taken to Skull Cavern.  He was in a helpless situation until Carter showed up and freed Ryan.  Carter and Ryan worked together to destroy the megazord that was now under Queen Bansheera's control.  The rest of the Rangers joined them.  Queen Bansheera's palace was complete and Ryan and the rest of the Rangers had to entered the palace.  Ryan and the rest of the Rangers were able to stop Queen Bansheera from releasing the demons and Diabolico made sure that Queen Bansheera was entomb with the rest of the demons.  The palace began to shake and Ryan and the rest of the Rangers went outside.  Ryan, the rest of the Rangers, Captain Mitchell, and Miss Fairweather watched the palace crumbled into dust.  Ryan had thought that was the end of his time as a Ranger, but it was not.  Mariner Bay still needed the Rangers.  Later, Ryan and the rest of the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers would team up with the Time Force Rangers to defeat Vypra's plans for revenge.
