Damon Henderson - The Green Galaxy Power Ranger

Working as a mechanic on the Astro Megaship Museum, Damon Henderson was surprised when a young man from the GSA began excavating the ship.  The young man was Kai, who needed the Astro Megaship to rescue his friends.  Damon was rather reluctant at first, but had a change of heart as he watched Kai tried to maneuver the Astro Megaship off the ground.  Damon took the controls and headed into a new life.  The Astro Megaship traveled through a portal to another world, Mirinoi.  Kai's friends were surrounded by several Stingwingers and Furio - who was determined to have the quasar sabers.  The quasar sabers were sticking out of a rock and only the chosen ones could remove the sabers.  Damon and Kai quickly began battling the Stingwingers.  Kai's friends, Kendrix, Mike, Leo, and Maya were also battling.  When Mike took the quasar saber out of the stone, Damon, Kendrix, Kai, and Maya did the same.  Furious at the loss of the quasar sabers, Furio began turning the plant to stone.  Damon and the rest had to escape.  Before they could leave the planet, Damon and the rest of his friends had another run-in with Furio.  Through a crevice in the ground, Mike was lost.  Mike had given his quasar saber to his younger brother, Leo.  There was a standoff between Furio and Damon and his friends.  Damon discovered that the quasar sabers had much power and he became the Green Galaxy Power Ranger.  His friends also became Galactic Power Rangers.  The planet was still turning to stone, and the Rangers were unable to defeat Furio.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers headed back to the Astro Megaship and the safety of Terra Venture.   Terra Venture was a space colony in search of a new world and would become Damon's new home.  He also began working on Terra Venture as a mechanic.  Damon share quarters with Kai and Leo.  An easy going guy, with a quick joke at the ready, Damon got along well with his fellow Rangers.  

Damon and the rest of the Rangers were kept busy by the main villain Scorpius.  Scorpius ran his operation on his own ship, the Scorpion Stinger.  Scorpius had sent his general Furio to get the quasar sabers.  Scorpius was also interested in the Lights of Orion.  Furio would fail numerous times to get the Lights of Orion for Scorpius.  Scorpius had a daughter, Trakeena who very much wanted in on the action.  Trakeena was not content to sit around and devise her own devious plans to get what she wanted.  Also on hand were numerous Stingwingers at their command.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers did have help.  They had the Astro Megaship at their disposal.  Damon, Leo, and Maya had helped freed the Galacticbeasts.  In turn, the Galacticbeasts would help the Rangers.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers gain the transdagger which helped transform the Galacticbeasts into a megazord.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers would eventually gain the power of the Lights of Orion.

Furio would be replaced by Treacheron.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers also had difficulty with the Magna Defender.  The Magna Defender was set on revenge against Scorpius for destroying his son Zika and didn't care who got in the way.  Eventually the Magna Defender sacrifice himself and save the colony.  The Magna Defender - who had been using Mike's spirit - released Mike.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers were happy to see that Mike was okay.  When Mike became the Magna Defender, it made the Ranger team much stronger.

A new villain appears on the scene, Diviot.  Diviot wants to be in charge and manipulates situations to work in his advantage.  Although things do not always go his way, Diviot manages to get rid of Scorpius with Trakeena thinking it had been the Red Ranger.  Trakeena is now in charge and she brings with her two loyal supporters, Villimax and Kegler.  Damon continues working on the various technical problems on Terra Venture.  During one such time, he notices High Councilor Reiner had drop a sheet of paper.  Damon is quick to pick up the sheet and give it back to High Councilor Reiner.  He is stopped by people protecting High Councilor Reiner, but she has no qualms accepting the smudge paper from the polite young man.  Damon watches her walk away, slightly bemused.  Later, he is startled into action as he witnesses Stingwingers trying to capture High Councilor Reiner.  Damon quickly morphs into action, but is unable to rescue High Councilor Reiner thanks to Cannonbrawl.  Damon is more than frustrated and is determined to find her and rescue her.  Maya tries to stop him, but Leo supports his friend all the way.  While searching, Damon hears Trakeena's transmission.  Trakeena will let High Councilor Reiner go, if someone can fix her ship.  Anger surges through Damon's body.  He is more than ready and sees Commander Stanton before anyone else can make a move.  Damon knows he the best mechanical and Terra Venture's best hope.  Commander Stanton is impressed with Damon and agrees to let him go on the high risk mission.  Damon rides in the Heliship piloted by Mike.  When the Heliship is within view of the Scorpion Stinger, Mikes calls Damon up front.  Damon is in awe over the size of the Scorpion Stinger, and what he must do.  He is also surprised to find the other young man under the helmet is Leo.  Summoning all his courage, Damon enters the Scorpion Stinger and sees for the first time, the hive-like interior of the Scorpion Stinger.  He is taken to Trakeena is not thrilled that the Green Power Ranger is on her ship, but she accepts his help.  Unfamiliar with the engine, Damon begins to tackle the difficult task ahead of him.  During this time, Leo locates High Councilor Reiner and contacts Damon to unlock the doors.  Carefully, Damon finds the correct wires and the prison doors are opened.  Damon has a close call with Deviot and is greatly relieve that Deviot did not figure out what he was doing.  Damon repairs the engine and returns to Trakeena - ready to say good-bye and head back to the Heliship.  Trakeena is not about to let a prize like the Green Power Ranger walk away.  Damon is angry that Trakeena lied and manages to get away.  Damon meets with Leo and High Councilor Reiner - who is mildly surprised to see Damon on board.  Cannonbrawl meets up with them and tries to prevent their escape.  This time Damon is ready for him, and the three managed to escape on the Heliship.  Cannonbrawl meets up with the Rangers on Terra Venture and is eventually destroyed.  Damon is back working with Leo, when he hears his name.  Damon is rather resigned when he sees it's High Councilor Reiner calling his name.  He knows he went against his orders and accepts his rebuff from the Councilor with his head bowled.  When High Councilor Reiner begins to praise his action, Damon lifts his head in surprised.  He is delighted with the medals of bravely awarded to him and Leo.  His grin fades a little when the Councilor asks him to raise his head.  He does and receives a high five from High Councilor Reiner.

Divot unleashed the Psycho Rangers on the Damon and the rest of the Power Rangers.  Damon, Maya, Kai, and Kendrix were captured by the Psycho Rangers.  They were rescued by Leo and Andros (Space Red Ranger).  Damon was ready to rumble with the Psycho Rangers.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers received additional help from Ashley (Yellow Space Ranger), Cassie (Pink Space Ranger), and Carlos (Black Space Rangers).  Damon and the rest of the Rangers defeated the Psycho Rangers.  Or so they thought.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers pleasant visit was interrupted by the news that Psycho Pink was still around.  Psycho Pink had Cassie's morpher and draining it's powers gave her more power.  In order to stop her, Kendrix sacrifice herself.  Although Damon and the rest of the Rangers were able to defeat Psycho Pink, but were unable to stop the energy force.  Kendrix's sacrifice got rid of Psycho Pink's energy force.  Damon was devastated by the loss of Kendrix.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers were soon trying to rescue Kendrix's saber from the wrong hands.  They received help from Karone - who became the second Pink Galactic Power Ranger.  Damon helped the new recruit by showing her how to correctly called for the galactabeasts.

Damon was working on a panel listening to his headphones when Karone interrupted him.  Karone was eager to show Damon something, although Damon was reluctant to leave his job unfinished.  Damon follows Karone to the Comet Cafe and the job board.  Damon tells Karone that he already has a job.  Karone points out the post for the Chief Mechanic position and tells him he would be perfect for the job.  Karone tells Damon that he just has to design something that would benefit the colony.  Damon is still a little bemused by the whole idea when several other workers approach Damon and tell him not to bother trying, that their boy Baxter would get the job.  Karone defends Damon and Damon realizes that he just got rope into something he wasn't really interested in.  Karone is very excited for Damon and as they walk outside asks him what he is going to make.  Rather frazzled, Damon barks at Karone that why doesn't she tell him, since she got him into it.  Their conversation is cut short when Damon's morpher beeps.   They find a secluded area and are informed that a monster is attacking.  Karone is very excited about going into action, and Damon calms her down and following his more dignified approach, morph into action.  Damon and Karone joined the other Rangers who are battling Decibat.  Decibat has an amplified voice that can shatter glass and cause extreme pain in the victim's ears.  The Rangers are unable to defeat Decibat, but this gives Damon an idea.  Back inside, Damon tells Karone about his plans to build an Ultrasonic Transmitter that will help the colony by protecting them from Decibat.  Karone is excited about his plans and Damon begins drawing up his plans right away.  The night is late and Damon tries to keep from following asleep by getting up and moving around.  But eventually, exhaustion sets in and before Damon can finish his plans, he is fast asleep.  The next morning, Damon is started to see how late it is.  With no time left to finish his plans, Damon gathers his drawings and races to the judging.  On the way he runs into Karone.  Damon is very please and confident that his plans will work.  They raced to the judging, but are too late.  Commander Stanton has already awarded the position to Baxter.  Damon is stunned when he notices that Baxter's plans are an exact copy of his.  Damon congratulates Baxter and comments that he must be real proud of himself.  Baxter looks a little ashamed of himself, but does not reveal that he took photos of Damon's plans while Damon was asleep.  Disgusted, Damon walks away with Karone following him.  Karone does not know why Damon didn't say anything.  But as far as Damon is concerned if Baxter wanted the job so bad he had to cheat, then he could have it.  Damon wasn't playing that game.  Later, Damon tracks Baxter down and tells him that the plans were unfinished.  Baxter refuses to listen, fearful that Damon wants his position.  Damon is frustrated by Baxter's arrogant attitude.  Soon the colony is attacked once again by Decibat.  Instead of joining the Rangers, Damon watches as Baxter and his crew sets up the Ultrasonic Transmitter to defeat Decibat.  At first it looks like the Transmitter works, but soon the controls are glowing.  Damon races to get everyone out of the way.  Commander Stanton is furious and wants to know what the problem is.  Baxter tries to tell Commander Stanton what he did, but is unable to get the words out.  Damon comes to his rescue by telling Commander Staton that Baxter needs more time and that by working together they will fix the problem.  Baxter is grateful and soon the two are working together to fix the Transmitter.  The Transmitter is successful and Damon joins the rest of the Rangers to destroy Decibat.  Afterwards, Karone is still surprised that Damon let Baxter get away with his idea.  Damon is not upset, telling Karone that actually Baxter is a pretty good guy.  Baxter approaches them with the news that he resigned from the post and that Damon should take the position.  Karone is excited for Damon and they go see Commander Staton.  Commander Station shows Damon his new office and Damon is quite impressed.  But the feeling fades when he finds out he will be doing paperwork and wearing a suit.  Damon likes getting his hands dirty.  He spots Baxter and drags him in.  Damon convinces Baxter to take the position and then tears out of the office as fast as he can.  Relieved that he escaped such a constricting job.

During a rescue mission, a galaxy book had been found.  The scientists on Terra Venture worked on it to untied it's secrets.  Divot also wanted the galaxy book.  Divot destroyed the guardian of the galaxy book and read from it's pages.  When Divot was done, Damon and the rest of the Rangers discovered that they were in the lost galaxy.  Trakeena was no where to be found, but a new villain made his presence known.  Captain Mutiny approached Terra Venture under the guise of friendship.  Captain Mutiny set a trap for Terra Venture by unleashing grunchor on them.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers had followed Captain Mutiny back to his planet and discovered that he captured ships and made the crew into slaves.  A beaten man had spotted Damon and his friends and cried out for help.  Damon's first response was to go help the man, but his friends held him back.  They couldn't rescue the slaves now, they would have to come back.  Their first step was to stop grunchor from destroying Terra Venture and allowing the people to become slaves.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers were successful in stopping grunchor, but could no longer find Captain Mutiny's planet.

Caption Mutiny began taking the citizens of Terra Venture as slaves.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers knew they had to stop him.  Mike allowed himself to be captured and rescue the slaves.  Meanwhile, Kai and Leo used the galaxy book to open a portal that lead back to their own galaxy.  Mike lost his powers while holding the portal open so that Terra Venture could pass safely through.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers were back in their own galaxy.  Trakeena was back as well.  Trakeena destroyed Captain Mutiny - who had followed through the portal.  Now Trakeena was intent on destroying Terra Venture.  A new world had been found that could support life, but Trakeena was not letting them off so easy.  Damon, was once again, in the role of decoy as the Rangers did their best to stop Trakeena.  Terra Venture crashed on the new world's moon.  The dome was cracking and the citizens had to abandoned ship.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers helped the citizens to board small shuttles headed for the new world.

After all the citizens of Terra Venture were boarded on shuttle ships, Damon and the rest of the Rangers boarded the Astro Megaship.  Trakeena began attacking the small shuttle ships.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers protected the shuttle ships by attacking Trakeena in the Scorpion Stinger.  The Astro Megaship was badly damaged and their only choice was to self-destruct.  Damon was furious.  The Astro Megaship had been his baby since before his Ranger days and to destruct it tore at his very being.  Reluctantly Damon set the commands and left with the other Rangers on the jet jammers.  The explosion of the Astro Megaship caused all the Rangers - including Alpha - to spin off in different directions.  Damon, Kai, Karone, and Maya managed to land on the new world.  Damon helped Alpha out of some bushes and back on his feet.  Only Leo remained missing.  Mike contacted them with the news that Trakeena had somehow powered up Terra Venture and Leo was fighting her.  Without hesitation, Damon and his friends joined Leo.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers destroyed Trakeena, but Terra Venture was heading for a crash course right where the citizens had landed.  The megazord was able to slow down Terra Venture, so that it did not crash into it's own people.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers survived the crash and celebrated along with the rest of  Terra Venture.  A surprise awaited Damon and his friends.  Maya lead them to the discovery that they had landed on Mirinoi.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers slowly put their sabers back into the stone that they had removed them from.  A golden shower begin to spread throughout.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers were demorphed.  The people of Mirinoi were transform from stone back to human form.  Damon and the rest of the Rangers had another pleasant surprise.  The golden shower also returned Kendrix to them.  There was much to celebrate that evening.

Damon would once again pulled his saber from the stone, along with Kendrix.  Damon and Kendrix would arrive at Mariner Bay to help Maya, Kai, Leo, and the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers battle Trakeena.  The two teams were able to destroyed Trakeena for good this time.  After visiting with the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers, Damon and his friends would return to Mirinoi.
