HALEY

Haley - Analisa Brouet

Haley is a captured slave of Captain Mutiny.  Her grandfather, Benjamin, was also captured.  Haley was a slave of Captain Mutiny for a long time.  After some time, she was chained to a new slave, Mike.  The heat and hard work had gotten to Haley and she collapse on the pile of rocks she and Mike had been digging, searching for gems.  Mike offered her a cup of water and at first she refused it.  Mike told her to stop being stubborn and offered the cup of water again.  Haley drank from it until Barbarax spotted them and told them to get back to work.  Haley told Mike to never help her again.  At the end of the day, the slaves were being led back to their cells.  Haley was surprised to see Mike poured his bucket of gems into her empty grandfather's bucket.  Mike and Haley were stopped by Barbarax - who became angry when he saw Mike's empty bucket.  Barbarax wanted to make an example of Mike, but Haley stopped him.  Haley gave a speech to all the slaves telling them that they worked for Captain Mutiny now and they had better dig and dig hard.  Haley told Barbarax that she would make sure the new slave worked hard.  Barbarax told her she better or she would suffered the consequences.  Mike asked her why she had defended him and she told him because he had helped her grandfather.  The slaves continued to be led back, when Mike grabbed Haley and hid.  Haley made a small sound when she saw her grandfather walk by.  Benjamin pretended to be delirious and demanded that the water bucket was all his to cover for Haley and Mike.  Haley was distressed when she saw her grandfather being led away by swabbies, although Benjamin had given them a small nod of acknowledgement.  Haley and Mike got away and hid outside of the cells of the slaves.  Haley wanted to know what they were supposed to do.  Mike used his communicator and told his friends to bring the Astro Megaship.  Haley was surprised and ask him who he was.  Mike told her that he would tell her later.  Mike and Haley battled the swabbies guarding the cells and freed the slaves.  Haley and Mike led the slaves to the waiting Astro Megaship and the Rangers ushered the slaves inside.  Haley search the crowd for her grandfather, but couldn't find him.  She stopped one fellow slave and he told her that her grandfather was in stocks.  Haley left to get her grandfather.  Mike went after her and she told him she was not leaving without her grandfather.  Haley and Mike made quick work of the one swabbie that was guarding her grandfather.  They freed him from the stocks and Haley asked him if he was okay.  Benjamin told her he was and they soon took off, racing to get back to the Astro Megaship.  They were stopped by Barbarax who claimed no one escaped his slave camp.  Mike told them to keep going and transform into the Magna Defender.  Haley and her grandfather were stunned and didn't move.  Mike turned around and told them to run and they did.  Haley and her grandfather made it to the Astro Megaship.  Haley got her grandfather a blanket and made sure he was okay before searching the ship for Mike.  Haley ended up on the bridge of the ship and told the Rangers that Mike was not on the ship.  The Astro Megaship and Terra Venture were racing to try and get through the portal and back to their own universe.  The portal was closing.  Haley and the Rangers saw the Torrorzord go by and then hold the portal open.  The Torrorzord exploded and opened the portal.  Haley was stunned over Mike's sacrifice as they made their way back to their own universe.  The next day, Haley and Leo visited Mike in the infirmary.  Mike asked her how she was feeling and she smiled as she told him she felt free.  Haley told Mike she was sorry that it cost him his powers and Mike told her that was exactly what his powers were for.  Haley and Leo smiled at Mike.
