LOYAX

Loyax - Voiced by Simon Prescott

Loyax was brought to the Scorpion Stinger by Villimax.  He waited just outside the main room as Villimax told Trakeena that Loyax was a mighty warrior and Deviot denounced Loyax has a has been.  Trakeena told Villimax to bring him in, and Loyax entered the room.  Loyax bowed to the lovely queen Trakeena.  Loyax stated that he has been a mighty warrior, but that he was getting old.  He wanted one last glorious battle before he laid his sword to rest.  Trakeena told him he could destroy the Power Rangers, and Loyax told Trakeena that destroying the Power Rangers would be a glorious battle.  Later, Loyax was at the ocean dome at Terra Venture.  He smashed several boulders and worked on his fighting skills.  Loyax was ready to battle the Rangers and they soon appeared.  Loyax fought the Rangers and soon had the Yellow Ranger on the ground.  He didn't consider this much of an achievement, as the Yellow Ranger was a girl.  The Red Ranger told Loyax to take him instead and Loyax told him that would indeed be a worthy trophy.  But before Loyax could battle the Red Ranger, the Yellow Ranger grabbed his foot and soon the two of them tumbled over the cliff.  Loyax and Maya were washed up into a dark cave.  Loyax watched Maya struggled with her injured leg.  Loyax told Maya that she would be alright, but that he would never live down the shame of being defeated by a girl.  Maya told him being a girl made no difference.  Loyax was not convinced, but he gave her a gold colored gauze to help her leg.  Loyax told Maya that he was old and that he had trouble seeing in the dark.  He suggested that if Maya would used his legs and her eyes, working together, they could get out of the cave.  Maya reluctantly agreed and together they managed to find their way out of the cave.  As soon as they were on the beach, Loyax tossed Maya to the ground.  Loyax considered them enemies once more.  Loyax wanted to continued the fight.  Maya no longer wanted to.  Deviot and several Stingwingers appeared and Deviot mockingly asked Loyax if he was losing his touch.  Loyax told Deviot that the battle was to be an honorable one - just between him and Maya.  Deviot dismissed Loyax' and had the Stingwingers attacked.  As Loyax and Maya battled the  Stingwingers, Loyax was impressed with Maya's fighting skills and told her so.  Loyax promised Maya that their battle would be honorable and they soon escaped from the Stingwingers.  Loyax and Maya were alone on the beach and Loyax wanted to continue the battle.  Maya did not want to fight him.  Loyax told Maya that once he had been like her, he had battled with his heart on the side of good.  But the forces of evil became too great and eventually Loyax was fighting on the side of evil.  Maya was convinced that if Loyax was good once, he could again fight for good.  But Loyax felt he was too old to change.  Loyax continued to battle Maya - who eventually morphed into the Yellow Ranger.  Throughout the battle, Maya continued to argue with Loyax that they didn't have to fight - they could work together.  Eventually the Yellow Ranger had Loyax on the ground.  The Yellow Ranger asked Loyax to stop and Loyax told her to finish him off.  The Yellow Ranger refused and instead offered her hand in friendship.  Loyax stared at her hand and then begin to accept her help, when he was attacked from behind.  Loyax pulled an electronic dart from his back and knew that Deviot had attacked him.  Deviot placed a control device on Loyax and Loyax soon grew large.  Against his will, Loyax began to battle the Rangers.  The Rangers called for their zords and tried to help Loyax.  The Rangers eventually destroyed the control device and Loyax turned on Deviot - claiming no one would force him to fight for evil again.  Furious Deviot set an device that would blow up Loyax.  In his last moments, Loyax thanked Maya for showing him the truth and told her that she was a noble warrior.  He then fell to the ground and exploded.  That evening, Maya and her friends found Loyax' sword.  Maya placed the sword on the ground and told Loyax that he had won his final battle, he had proven that he was still good and that was how she would remembered him.
