Rico The Robot - Page Three

Emma tells Rico he's it.  Noah is surprised that Emma named him.  Emma justifies herself by stating, Metal Alice called him R1C0, so I went with Rico.  Gia likes it.  Gia tells Rico he's it.  Rico plays tag with the teens.  Eventually Rico falls on the grass.  The teens hurry over to him and Emma asks if he is okay?  Rico slowly gets up and grabs Emma, yelling got you!  You're it!  The rest of the teens laugh.  Afterwards, Emma teaches Rico how to kick a ball.  When Rico kicks the ball, it flies out of the park.  The guys teach Rico how to play catch.  Gia and Emma sit on a bench together.  Gia asks, what are we doing adopting Rico?  Emma responds, because he's good.  He was built to harm, but he resisted it.  Gia is not convinced.  Emma adds, I just feel sorry for him.  Gia states, Rico is a robot.  There's no emotion and we shouldn't feel for him.  That's what Robo Knight keeps telling us.  Emma suggests maybe he can become our ally.  Like Robo Knight.  Gia is still concerned.  She quietly replies, maybe.  Emma asks, do you think I'm crazy for trusting Rico?  Gia replies, I wouldn't expect anything different.  You have a big heart.  The girls go back to watching the guys and Rico.  Rico finally catches a ball and the guys cheer.  Later, they have a picnic.  Jake thanks Gia for putting this all together.  Rico notes, Jake likes Gia.  Rico likes Emma.  Noah adds, smart robot.  Emma tells Rico, we all like each other.  We're all friends.  Rico states, friends.  I like playing with Emma and everyone.  It's fun.  Emma is glad Rico is having so much fun.  Rico sees Gia eating grapes and he wants to eat them too.  Noah asks how?  Your mouth doesn't open.  Rico responds, that makes me sad.  I'm different from everyone else.  I'm not a friend.  Emma tells him, just because you're different, doesn't mean you're not our friend.  Jake adds, yeah, you're cool.  Emma throws her arm around Rico and tells him, best buddies forever.  Rico repeats best buddies forever.  Everyone laughs.
