Robo Knight - Page Two
After collecting a few plant samples, Emma and Noah stand up. Noah asks Emma, aren't you? Emma replies, of course. And the best thing is, I have you guys as my new best friends. Emma wants to explore another pathway and Noah follows. Emma pauses for a moment and tells Noah to look. They exchange glances and they walk closer to an old factory. Noah tells Emma it was closed down years ago because of too much pollution. Emma points out the stream to Noah. The chemicals were still seeping through. Emma and Noah walk over to the stream and kneel down beside it. Noah notes the chemical pollution has probably been happening for years. Noah takes out a small vial and fills it up in the stream. Emma doesn't understand how people could do this. Securing a top on the vial, Noah tells Emma, he will analyze this back at the lab. Suddenly they hear a scream. Noah and Emma quickly get up and run back to where all the students are gathered in a circle. They are all looking at patch of mud with two very large footprints in it. Mr. Burley arrives and gets quite excited to see the foot prints. He exclaims Big Foot was here, and then quickly covers his mouth. Mr. Burley then announces the field trip is over. The students start to head for the bus, except for Jake, Gia, and Troy. Troy looks at Jake and asks, Big Foot? Jake doesn't think so. Nah, there is no such thing. Must be some kind of hoax. Jake and Gia walk towards the bus. Troy stares at the foot prints for a bit and then joins the rest of the students.
Bluefur steps outside and he is not happy. Those ugly humans keep getting closer and closer to us mutants. Bluefur growls and stalks off to warn the others. Hidden behind tree branches is Vrak. Vrak realizes Malkor was right. I must get these toxic mutants on our side.
At Harwood County High School, Emma, Noah, Troy, and Jake are inside the tech room. A laptop is open and the screen shows cells. Emma is upset. These people don't care about the environment at all. I mean they close up the plant and didn't clean up the chemicals. After a few moments of looking through a microscope, Noah takes notes. Troy is more concern about the footprint.
