SENSEI KANOI
Sensei Kanoi Watanabe - Grant McFarland
Student Kanoi Watanabe - Daniel Sing
Sensei Kanoi Watanabe is the Sensei of the Wind Ninja Academy. His students study the elements of Water, Air, and Earth. Sensei Kanoi also has a son, Cam, who helps him at the academy. Shane, Tori, and Dustin all attend the Wind Ninja Academy. The ninja students had just ambush and attacked Tori, Dustin, and Shane. Dustin, Shane, and Tori did not do well in the training. Sensei Kanoi used the form of a bird to fly to the area where the students stood. He reverted to human form and walked towards the disheveled Dustin, Shane, and Tori. He was very disappointed in them. They all returned to the academy, which was hidden behind a water fall. Sensei Kanoi told Tori, Shane, and Dustin they had been to the academy for nearly a year, and they still did not understand the importance of punctuality. Sensei Kanoi did not feel they were dedicated to their ninja training. Sensei Kanoi told them that they had a lot of potential. He dismiss them and wanted them to considered whether or not they wanted to continue their training. Shane, Tori, and Dustin left. Cam walked up to his dad and told him he didn't know what he saw in the three of them. Sensei Kanoi remarked that was why he was the Sensei and Cam was the Sensei's son. Moments later, Sensei Kanoi looked up into the sky concern. The following day, at the Academy, Sensei Kanoi sensed that Lothor was close by. Within seconds, the academy was attacked by Lothor and his gang, Zurgane, Choobo, Marah, Kapri, and several Kelzaks. Sensei Kanoi told Lothor the dark energy was very strong in him. He also told him it didn't have to be this way. Sensei Kanoi and Lothor battled while the rest of the ninja students battle the rest. The ninja students were captured. Sensei Kanoi was stuck in guinea pig form. Sensei Kanoi and his son had created Ninja Ops, in case of an attack by Lothor. Only three students were not captured, they were Dustin, Shane, and Tori. They were late, because they had stopped to help an elderly couple with their car. Cam had survived as well and Cam took them to Ninja Ops where they were greeted by the sight of their Sensei as a Guinea Pig. Sensei Kanoi lost no time in telling them about Lothor, and how years ago, he had been banished from Earth. Sensei Kanoi told them of Lothor's attack and his army. Sensei Kanoi then had Cam give them their Wind Power Ranger morphers. Sensei Kanoi told them to use them they had to say the phrase, Ninja Storm, Ranger Form. Shane, Tori, and Dustin left and were successful in their first battle, which was monitored by Sensei Kanoi and Cam on one of the computer screens in Ninja Ops. Dustin, Shane, and Tori returned triumphantly. Sensei Kanoi warned them that Lothor was not about to give up until he had conquered Earth. Shane, Tori, and Dustin would have to destroy Lothor. He also reminded the three they were Earth's only defense.
Sensei Kanoi and Cam watched as Shane, Tori, and Dustin failed another simulation. Sensei Kanoi sent them on their way and told them he would see them the following day. The next day, only Tori and Dustin arrived. Sensei Kanoi asked where Shane was and Dustin replied that Shane was saving the world, single-handily. Sensei Kanoi told them that each piece was important and Tori replied that he should tell Shane that. Sensei Kanoi was confident that Shane would learn soon. An alien was attacking Blue Bay Harbor. The alien soon encounters Shane and the battle is monitored at Ninja Ops. Dustin and Tori want to leave immediately to help Red Ranger, but Sensei Kanoi tells them to wait. Only when Red Ranger cries out for his friends, and tells them he needs their help, does Sensei Kanoi let them go. The Rangers have a difficult time and Cam sends them zords for the first time. Red Ranger is confused about what to do. Sensei Kanoi appears on the screen and tells him to remember the scroll - the power of three. Red Ranger realizes what the scroll means and working together they defeat the alien. Later, at Ninja Ops, Shane apologizes for being a jerk. Sensei Kanoi is pleased that Shane realizes the importance of team work.
Tori stopped in Ninja Ops to ask Sensei Kanoi some advise. Tori wanted to prove she was a girl to Shane and Dustin, and thought posing in a sports magazine would do it. Tori asked Sensei Kanoi for his advice and he replied with some nonsense. Tori told him he was useless. Tori left. Moments later, Cam told his dad that he felt like he has been working code for days and he even had blisters. Sensei Kanoi told his son, his hard work was worth it, he knew they would be needing the new technology soon.
Sensei Kanoi stood on Dustin's back as he did one hundred pushups. When Dustin finished, Sensei Kanoi leaped off Dustin's back and told him he hoped it would help to remember the importance of punctuality. Shane walked in and took Dustin aside. Shane didn't feel like Dustin was taking their mission seriously. Dustin admitted that lately he had been distracted, but he was as committed as the rest of them. Dustin asked Tori to back him up, but she couldn't. Dustin asked Sensei Kanoi and Sensei Kanoi replied that actions speak louder than words. Upset, Dustin walked off. Later, Sensei Kanoi and Cam monitored the battle between the Rangers and Terramole. Yellow Ranger had arrived late to help Red Ranger and Blue Ranger. Cam commented to his dad that he did not think Yellow Ranger was going to make it. Sensei Kanoi told Cam to watch Yellow Ranger's actions. Eventually, thanks to Yellow Ranger, Terramole would be defeated.
Dustin, Shane, and Tori stormed into Ninja Ops and had dozens of questions for Sensei Kanoi. Shane, Tori, and Dustin had just finished battling two evil Power Rangers. Sensei Kanoi told them all he knew was that the evil Power Rangers fought in the style of the Thunder Academy. Dustin thought all the Ninja Academies had been wiped out. Tori thought maybe Lothor was using the evil Rangers to fight fire with fire. Sensei Kanoi told them the evil Rangers' fire came from within, not even Lothor could have summon up that much anger. Zurgane appeared on the screen and Tori, Shane, and Dustin left to battle him. Sensei Kanoi and Cam monitored their battled on the screen. After the defeat of Zurgane, the evil Thunder Power Rangers appeared. The Thunder Rangers beat the Wind Rangers badly. The Crimson Thunder Ranger thought the Wind Rangers would have put up more of a challenge and didn't think much of their Sensei. Cam looked at his dad and asked him if he had heard what they had said. Sensei Kanoi replied that the Thunder Rangers' words are not what he is concern with. The battle escalated to zords - to which the Thunder Rangers had their own as well. The Wind Rangers were defeated.
Cam and Sensei Kanoi were worried about Shane, Tori, and Dustin. Their zords had been badly damaged. Tori, Dustin, and Shane managed to make it back to Ninja Ops. Sensei Kanoi pointed out that the Thunder Rangers' zord operated exactly like theirs did. The Wind Rangers' zords were repairing themselves. In the meanwhile, Sensei Kanoi wanted Shane, Dustin, and Tori to go about their normal lives. Later, the Thunder Rangers (Blake & Hunter) would captured Sensei Kanoi.
Sensei Kanoi had managed to put an energy sphere before being captured by Blake and Hunter. This also meant that Sensei Kanoi could not use any of his ninja powers while inside the energy sphere. Blake and Hunter walked through the woods, carrying Sensei Kanoi. Sensei Kanoi tried to reason with them, telling them not to hurt someone who has done you no harm. Hunter replied to Sensei Kanoi to be quiet. Hunter and Blake soon ran into several zombie looking creatures and they had to fight them. During the battle, Sensei Kanoi got toss around a lot. Soon, the Wind Rangers appeared. The Wind Rangers and Thunder Rangers work together to defeat the zombies. Afterwards, the Thunder Strangers took off with Sensei Kanoi. Eventually, the Wind Rangers caught up to the Thunder Rangers. Sensei Kanoi got tossed from one Ranger to another. Zurgane arrived in his zord, and the Thunder Rangers took off, once more with Sensei Kanoi. Blue Wind Ranger stayed behind to fight Zurgane in his zord, while Yellow Wind Ranger and Red Wind Ranger went after the Thunder Rangers. The battle for Sensei Kanoi started again, and despite everything, the Thunder Rangers defeated them and walked off with Sensei Kanoi. But not without telling them first that Sensei Kanoi had destroyed their parents. The Thunder Rangers made it into the cavern of the Mountain of Lost Ninjas. They were just about to strike Sensei Kanoi with the Gem of Souls when Shane, Dustin, and Tori walked in. Tori, Dustin, and Shane called out to them to wait. Hunter didn't want to wait, he wanted to destroy the man who had destroyed their parents. Mr. & Mrs. Bradley appeared and told Hunter and Blake that Sensei Kanoi had not destroyed them, it was Lothor. Mr. & Mrs. Bradley faded away and Lothor walked in. Upset, Hunter used the Gem of Souls on Lothor. Lothor vanished. Sensei Kanoi told them Lothor may have vanished, but he was not gone. Later, outside the cavern, Sensei Kanoi had Cam throw several pieces of the Gem of Souls into the ocean. He told Cam the Gem of Souls could never be destroyed. Hunter and Blake may have learn their lesson about revenge, but there are others that have not. It was important that no one get their hands on the Gem of Souls.
Sensei Kanoi found out that Shane, Tori, and Dustin were out late on a school night and they are called into Ninja Ops. Tori, Dustin, and Shane tell Sensei Kanoi about several Kelzaks planting some strange seeds and their encounter with Florabundacus. Tori places a couple of seeds in front of Sensei Kanoi. Sensei Kanoi taps them with his staff and a very strong, bad smell emerges. Sensei Kanoi wants Dustin, Tori, and Shane to see his friend, Dr. Belrab. Cam starts to protest. Cam feels he should go, since he is the expert on botany. Sensei Kanoi insists on Tori, Dustin, and Shane going. Sensei Kanoi tells them to talk to Dr. Belrab in the morning, as they all need their rest. The following day, Sensei Kanoi confronts his son. He knows that Cam had go ahead and seen Dr. Belrab on his own. Cam is surprised that his dad found out. Sensei Kanoi tells him he is a Sensei and his father, a bad combination if you want to sneak out. Cam is frustrated and wants to do more. Sensei Kanoi tells his son that he does plenty to help the Rangers, but Cam wants more. Sensei Kanoi asks Cam if he wants to be a Power Ranger. Cam admits that he does and doesn't understand why his father did not choose him. Sensei Kanoi tells Cam that he has the ability to be the most powerful Ranger of them all, but he cannot. Sensei Kanoi had made a promise to his wife, when she became ill, that he would keep Cam out of danger and a promise to a loved one is the most powerful promise of all. Cam argues his mom would want him to live to his full potential. Sensei Kanoi sadly tells him they will never know. Later, using the volcanic springs water, the seeds had grown into plants and the plants grab Sensei Kanoi and try to overtake Ninja Ops. Only after Red Wind Ranger destroys Florabundacus, does the plant disappear and Sensei Kanoi is released. Later, Sensei Kanoi lectures the four about disobedience and sends them on a ten mile run. Shane, Tori, and Dustin leave, protesting greatly. Cam laughs, and Sensei Kanoi points out that he had said all of them. Sensei Kanoi reminds Cam that he had disobeyed as well by visiting with Dr. Belrab. Cam reluctantly starts to leave. Sensei Kanoi tells Cam that when he returns, they will start discussing his training. Cam asks him about his promise and Sensei Kanoi tells Cam there are other ways, besides the ninja.
Tori, Dustin, Shane were in Ninja Ops with Cam and Sensei Kanoi. Tori told them about her encounter with Blake. Blake had told Tori about Choobo wanting to get revenge on Lothor and working with them to do it. Shane didn't like it and neither did Sensei Kanoi. Tori told them Blake had said they were just going to go on Lothor's ship and wouldn't do anything, without letting them know first. Later, Sensei Kanoi and Cam monitored a battle between the Wind Rangers and Thunder Rangers. The battle had escalated to zords. Suddenly, the zords went off line and Cam could get no life readings inside the zords. Cam told his dad, it was like the Rangers had vanished.
Sensei Kanoi and Cam continued using the computer to search for the Rangers. Cam watched as the news anchor announced the cooler temps in Blue Bay Harbor. For once, Sensei Kanoi was glad to have fur. Sensei Kanoi and Cam were concern as the temperatures continued to drop. Cam found an unnamed island and noted that it was starting to sink. Sensei Kanoi felt the falling temperatures and the sinking island were connected.
Bundled up in blankets, Sensei Kanoi and Cam continued their search for the missing Rangers. Cam eventually found them and the Rangers were okay, only they had to get off the island quickly. Cam sent them their zords and the Rangers were able to get off the island. Later, after the temperatures had returned to normal, Blake and Hunter entered Ninja Ops with their friends Dustin, Tori, and Shane. Blake and Hunter had decided not to join the Wind Rangers, as they felt Lothor would never stop, until he had destroyed them. Dustin remarked welcome to the club. Hunter told Shane, Tori, and Dustin they were all that stood between Lothor and hundreds of innocent people, they didn't want to jeopardize that. Tori reminded them that they had a gift. Sensei Kanoi told Blake and Hunter they were trained by Sensei Omnio for a reason, but he could not force them to stay.
Tori, Dustin, Shane, and Cam were in Ninja Ops and wondering what decision Hunter and Blake would make. Sensei Kanoi told them Hunter and Blake will follow their destinies. Cam was working on the Thunder zords. Cam thought the technology was amazing, but couldn't figure out what one piece did. Later, the Wind Rangers, in their zord, and the Thunder Rangers, in their zord were battling a giant Choobo. Cam realized what the piece was for - the ability to combine the Wind zord and Thunder zord. Combining their zords, the Rangers were able to defeat Choobo. Afterwards, at Ninja Ops, Dustin couldn't believe that Blake and Hunter turned down Factory Blue. Blake told them they had more important things to do. Shane questioned whether that meant they were joining the team and Blake and Hunter told them yes. Shane, Cam, Tori, Dustin, and Sensei Kanoi happily accepted their decision.
Sensei Kanoi was on the beach with Shane and Hunter. Shane and Hunter were supposed to be sparing, but instead they were trying to outdo each other. After several moments of this, Sensei Kanoi knocked both of them aside and asked them what teamwork meant. Shane started to answer, and then Hunter finished the sentence. Shane and Hunter both got angry at each other. Sensei Kanoi had had enough and had them both do pushups. Quickly, Hunter and Shane were trying to outdo each other in pushups. Later, at Ninja Ops, Dustin, Tori, and Blake were watching a screen that show Hunter and Shane trying to outdo each other in a race. Tori asked Sensei Kanoi when the competition between the two will stop. Sensei Kanoi told them when they learn that being a good leader, means sometimes you have to be a follower.
Sensei Kanoi waited as Shane and Dustin struggled to plug in the cables, so Sensei Kanoi could watch cable TV. He warned them he would get very angry if he miss Sci-Fi theater. Shane and Dustin managed to get the cable in and Sensei Kanoi enjoyed his small screen TV until Blake accidentally ripped out the cables sparing with Tori. Later, Sensei Kanoi told Tori it was wrong of her to use her ninja powers for personal reasons. Tori apologized to Shane and told him if she had only told him the truth, none of this would have happened. Tori had used her powers to watch Shane compete in a skateboarding competition and to keep a date with Blake. In the process, Blake and Hunter were captured. Sensei Kanoi told Tori that no one knows what will happen in the future, that is why there are rules regarding the present. Cam established a way for Shane, Tori, and Dustin to rescue Blake and Hunter. After their success, Tori came back to Ninja Ops and mop the floors, as her way as paying for using her ninja powers. Blake had walked in and had gotten two movie tickets, but Tori could not go. Sensei Kanoi found himself at the movies with Blake. Although it frustrated him that someone tall always sat in front of him. Blake joked that would be everyone and then apologized to Sensei Kanoi. Blake offered Sensei Kanoi some popcorn, but he had brought his own.
Sensei Kanoi stand poise over bricks. He is watched by Hunter, Tori, Shane, Dustin, Blake and in the background, Cam. Hunter is skeptical that Sensei Kanoi can break the bricks. Sensei Kanoi smashes his paw onto the brick and breaks it. This makes Hunter, Shane, Tori, and Blake all try and failed at breaking the next set of bricks. Cam walks up and breaks the second set of bricks. Shane, Dustin, Blake, and Hunter can't believe it and think it is a trick. Cam tells them just because someone is not a Ranger, doesn't make them useless and storms out. After a moment, Tori follows Cam out. Blake wants to know if Cam is mad at them and Shane replies that Cam is always angry at them. Blake wants to know what they can say to make things right. Sensei Kanoi tells them it is more than words. Sensei Kanoi tells the guys how Cam wants to be a Ranger, but he has refuse because of a promise he had made when Cam was a child. Dustin doesn't mean any disrespect, but he thinks that it a weak excuse. Hunter tells Sensei Kanoi that Cam is the most together of them all and he would make a great Ranger. Sensei Kanoi tells them he appreciates their honesty. Later, Tori and Cam are attacked by Madtropolis. Blake, Hunter, Shane, and Dustin leave to help them. Madtropolis drains their powers and traps them in a sphere. Later, at Ninja Ops, Sensei Kanoi tells them they have to get their powers back. Madtropolis appears again. Shane insists they need to go and Cam gives Shane, Dustin, Tori, Blake, and Hunter an energy boost. The Rangers leave to battle Madtropolis. Cam manages to get the sphere back, but is unable to open it. Sensei Kanoi tells him of a power in the past, that can open it. Cam realizes the Scroll of Time could help them. Sensei Kanoi stops Cam from getting the scroll. Cam insists it is the only way and Sensei Kanoi reluctantly lets him have the Scroll of Time. Meanwhile, the Rangers no longer have any strength and are demorph. Sensei Kanoi tells Cam that he needs to return to the present, before the writing of the scroll fades and all present time will be frozen until he returns. Sensei Kanoi watches as his son enters the portal.
Outside of Ninja Ops, time was frozen. To protect the Rangers, Sensei Kanoi teleported them to Ninja Ops. Tori, Dustin, Shane, Blake, and Hunter were okay, but they wanted to know where Cam was. Sensei Kanoi told them Cam had gone on a very important mission through time. Sensei Kanoi was concern for his son. Later, Dustin, Shane, Blake, Hunter, and Tori's bodies began to fade. Tori asked what as happening and Sensei Kanoi told her that time was returning. Shane, Blake, Hunter, Tori, and Dustin returned to outside and the battle with Madtropolis. A new Ranger appeared on the scene and Sensei Kanoi knew that his son had made it back.
As a young man, Kanoi was out riding his horse when he ran into a young man in his path. He got off his horse and asked him why Cam, the young man, was there. Cam told him he wouldn't believe him if he told him. Kanoi asked him what the password was. Cam told him air, earth, and water, united as one. Kanoi told him wrong and started to battle Cam. Kanoi was surprised when Cam used moves that could only be learned at the Wind Ninja Academy. Sensei appeared through the waterfall and asked them to stop. Kanoi told him that Cam knew the ways of the Wind Ninja Academy. Sensei decided to take Cam in as a new student and told him he would wear a test uniform, until it was determined what element would be his. Sensei also told Kanoi that he needed to appear on time for his lessons. Sensei walked back through the waterfall. Kanoi was not happy and could feel Cam still staring at him. He told Cam to stop, and Cam apologized, telling him that he looked like someone he knew. At this point, Cam had realized, he was meeting his dad as a student. Kanoi lead Cam through the waterfall and into the Wind Ninja Academy. Kanoi's element was air. Later, Sensei had Kanoi on stage. Kanoi was the best student with the sword and he demonstrated in front of all the students. Sensei decided Kanoi should face someone. Sensei walked down the row of students and stopped in front of one and placed the challenge in the student's hands. The student's face was completely covered. The student was a new one and Kanoi thought it would be unfair to have a new student faced him. The student walked up on the stage and Kanoi soon discovered the new student was very talented and used moves of the Samurai. Sensei told Miko, she had done very well. As Miko removed her head covers, Kanoi realized he had been battling with a girl. Kanoi told Sensei the Academy did not accept girls, it was against the rules. Kanoi's twin brother, Kiya, was all for letting girls into the Academy. Kanoi told Kiya that he was always for breaking the rules, and he knew what Kiya was up to. Sensei announced that Miko would be staying with them. Later, Kanoi and several students raced to the aid of Miko, who was in the woods. Miko told them Cam had stolen her necklace. Kanoi had the students take Cam back for sentencing. Kanoi noticed a strange green light in the woods and went to investigate it. It turned out to be Kiya who had stolen the necklace. He dragged his brother and told the crowd that Cam was not guilty. Kanoi revealed it was Kiya who had stolen the necklace and was using the dark powers. Sensei told Kiya it was forbidden to use the dark powers and he would be forever banished. Kiya refused to be banished without a fight. The necklace ended up in Cam's hands. Kiya put up a force field, which no one could break through. Kanoi and Mike stood side by side and watched as Cam and Kiya battled. Eventually the power of the ambulant helped Cam defeat Kiya. Kiya announced to all that he would no longer be known as Kiya, but would take on the name Lothor. Kiya yelled at Kanoi that he would never forger the part he had played and he would get his revenge. Sensei trapped Lothor within a buddle and sent him away. Cam insisted they go after Lothor, as he would come back and cause a lot of damage. Sensei told Cam that no one could predict the future. Mike and Kanoi raced up to Cam and asked him if he was okay. Cam told them he was. Miko told Cam to keep the ambulant, it was meant for him all along. Cam told Miko he couldn't. Miko insisted, telling Cam it was what he had come for. The time portal opened up and Kanoi and Miko watched as Cam went through it.
The Green Ranger helped the Rangers destroyed Madtropolis, but they were soon fleeing from attacks by Lothor, Marah, Kapri, and several Kelzaks. Sensei Kanoi teleported the Rangers to Ninja Ops. They grumbled at Sensei Kanoi as they picked themselves up off the floor, having had no warning that Sensei was going to teleport them. Sensei Kanoi told them you're welcome, and they realized they had not been grateful for Sensei Kanoi's intervention. Sensei Kanoi told them the sphere contained five Power Rangers' powers, it would take more power to open the sphere. Dustin suggested six Rangers and Sensei Kanoi agreed. The six friends opened the sphere and the powers were restored to Tori, Dustin, Shane, Hunter, and Blake. Blake, Hunter, Tori, Shane, Dustin, and Cam were a little upset that Sensei Kanoi had never told them Lothor was his brother and asked him about it. Sensei Kanoi told them according to their laws, the brother he used to know no longer exists. Cam thought his dad should have at least told him. Sensei Kanoi asked him if it would have made any difference, would they have battle any differently. Later, the screen showed several alien monsters attacking the city. Sensei Kanoi sent Dustin, Tori, Shane, Blake, and Hunter off and kept Cam in Ninja Ops to monitor. After everyone left, Cam told his dad about his mom and how beautiful and brave she was. Sensei Kanoi pointed out that she was wise as well, she made sure the ambulant went to Cam. Later, another monster would appear and Cam decided to take him on. Later, Sensei Kanoi contacted all the Rangers and told them to return to Ninja Ops. Cam had been infected by the monster he had battled. Sensei Kanoi sent Tori, Shane, Blake, Hunter, and Dustin out again, but not Cam. Cam monitored the various battles from Ninja Ops. Sensei Kanoi concluded the toxins in the creature Cam fought was slowly giving him insect tendencies. Cam was frustrated, his first time out as a Ranger. Sensei Kanoi pointed out there will always been downfalls, but a strong man learns from them. Sensei Kanoi told Cam in order for him to return to normal, he had to have the monster reverse the effects on him. Cam left. The Rangers would eventually defeat all the monsters, and Cam returned to normal. The following day, Cam returned to Ninja Ops, excited. Cam would be able to use his Samurai saber to monitor Ninja Ops, while he was in battle. Dustin, Blake, Hunter, Shane, and Tori presented Cam with his own ninja uniform. Cam was thrilled. Sensei Kanoi told Cam it took a brave man to make his own destiny.
Sensei Kanoi contacted Cam and told him he needed his help. Something was wrong with the computer and he believed he had pushed the wrong buttons. Moments later, Cam arrived at Ninja Ops. Cam was working on the computer and Sensei Kanoi told his son that he needed some recreational activities, likes the rest of the Rangers. Cam told his father he didn't have time and then fell asleep. The following morning, Dustin, Tori, and Shane entered Ninja Ops looking for Cam. "Cam" walked in with a new attitude and clothes. Sensei Kanoi was stunned as "Cam" told Tori that she was looking particularly babelicious. "Cam" left with Shane, Tori, and Dustin. Later, Sensei Kanoi was surprised to see Cam in Ninja Ops. He told him he had thought he had left. Cam told him it was a long story, and he would tell him about it later. Sensei Kanoi eventually learn that Cam had designed a holographic image of himself. Cyber Cam had gotten a little carried away, but Cam reprogrammed him to be totally dedicated to his job.
Tori contacted Sensei Kanoi and told him that Lothor was trying to brainwash people through television. Sensei Kanoi told Tori that Lothor was too late. Sensei Kanoi told Tori that the "I Love Lothor" television show was giving out love signals. This would cause the citizens of Blue Bay Harbor to anything Lothor asked of them. The only way to break the spell was to destroy Mr. Ratwell. Eventually the Rangers would destroy Mr. Ratwell and Lothor's spell was broken.
Sensei Kanoi leaped in front of the screen. Cam and Tori were watching a surfing video of Tori that Cam had shot. Sensei asked them if it meant the communications had been fixed. Cam told him the communications had been repaired. Earlier in the day, there had been problems and Cam was unable to contact Hunter when Blake, Tori, Shane, and Dustin were surrounded by hundreds of Kelzaks. Later, Tori, Shane, Dustin, and Blake sat around a table, depressed. They were not happy with the way their various videos had turned out. Cam couldn't believe it, after all his hard work. Sensei Kanoi told them this was not new territory for them and reminded them of editing. Shane, Dustin, Blake, and Tori knew what to do. They combined all their video footage and won the video competition.
In the middle of the night, Sensei Kanoi and Cam find Dustin in Ninja Ops and ask him what he is doing. The following morning, Dustin explains how Marah wants to be good and has given him a device that can destroy Beevil. Shane, Tori, Blake, Hunter, Cam, and Sensei Kanoi are skeptical. Beevil has reappeared and everyone leaves, except Dustin. Sensei Kanoi lets Dustin decide whether or not to power up the device and trust Marah. Dustin, going on his instincts, believe Marah and starts the process. The computer screen shows the Rangers battling Beevil and having a difficult time. Suddenly Beevil is knocked down by Marah. Dustin is overjoyed, but Sensei Kanoi is not convinced. During the battle between Beevil and Marah, Marah gets hurt. The device is down being powered up and Dustin grabs it and races into the city to toss it to Marah. It turns out, Marah was deceiving Dustin and the device was meant to make Beevil more powerful. Eventually Yellow Ranger would be the one to destroy Beevil.
Inside Ninja Ops, Sensei Kanoi found his son Cam, deep in thought and staring at a picture of him and his mom. Sensei Kanoi asked Cam what was wrong. Cam misses having his dad in human form and asks him if he thinks he will ever get unstuck. Sensei Kanoi is unsure and tells Cam it would take a great power. Cam stares at the Samurai ambulant and gets an idea. Cam thinks he has found a way to return his father to human form. Sensei Kanoi stands in place and the machine starts. Some wires start to smoke and Shane and Cam pulled at them. After the smoke clears, Cam asks Sensei Kanoi if he is okay. Sensei Kanoi replies, in Shane's body, that they appear to have another problem. Shane had made an earlier commitment to a skateboard competition. Sensei Kanoi is sure he can compete in the competition. Tori and Shane are not so sure, and Tori leaves with Sensei Kanoi. Sensei Kanoi discovers skateboarding is not as easy as he thought and uses the excuse that it has been awhile since he has had human legs. Tori tells him to use his inner ninja and Sensei Kanoi grins. Several Kelzaks appear and Sensei Kanoi, Tori, and Dustin, who has joined them, battle. Sensei Kanoi battles the Kelzaks with ease, and quite enjoys the experience. Footzilla appears and Sensei Kanoi, Dustin, and Tori morph. They battled Footzilla and chase him off. Yellow Ranger is impressed with Red Ranger's skills and calls him dude. Red Ranger reminds Yellow Ranger that he is Sensei, not dude and Yellow Ranger quickly apologizes. They return to Ninja Ops where Cam is ready to try again. Sensei Kanoi and Shane stand in place and the machine starts up once more. Dustin is impressed and walks closer, getting stuck in the rays. When the machine stops, Sensei Kanoi tells them, from Dustin's body, that they have traded one problem for another. The computer shows Footzilla is back and Sensei Kanoi, Shane, and Tori take off. They spot Marah and Kapri and soon Footzilla. Sensei Kanoi, Tori, and Shane morph and battle. Yellow Ranger finds it interesting to note the differences in the physical makeup between Shane and Dustin. Blue Ranger reminds him now if probably not the time. Hunter and Blake arrive and morph to help, and soon Green Ranger is there as well. The battle escalates to zords and Yellow Ranger thinks being in the zord is quite fun. After the Rangers destroy Footzilla, they return to Ninja Ops. Sensei Kanoi tells Cam that he never realized how hard it was for him, not having a human father. Sensei Kanoi and Dustin stand in place and the transfer takes place yet again and this time it is a success.
Sensei Kanoi learns that the previous night, Yellow Ranger appear at Storm Chargers and stopped several thugs from trashing the place. Dustin, Shane, Cam, and Tori are there. Sensei Kanoi talks to Dustin about being more careful, but Dustin doesn't see what the problem is in helping a friend. The computer starts going crazy. Cam tells them that he has been monitoring the Rangers' fan sites and Yellow Rangers' sites have suddenly increased. Dustin grins. Later, Blake and Hunter entered Ninja Ops. They explain to Sensei Kanoi that they received a letter from their sick adoptive grandmother and would like to use their ninja powers to see her. Sensei Kanoi tells them that their ninja powers are only to be use in special circumstances and he believes visiting a sick family member qualifies. Hunter and Blake eagerly leave. Later in the day, Shane and Tori return to Ninja Ops. Shane is worried about Dustin and mentions it just as Dustin walks in. Dustin and Shane argue and Dustin thinks he would do better on his own. Dustin storms out. The computer screen shows Slob Goblin in the city. To no one's surprise, Dustin is already there. Shane makes some sarcastic comments. Sensei Kanoi points out that before Shane and Dustin were Rangers, they were friends. Shane realizes Sensei Kanoi is right. Shane and Tori morph and head out to help Yellow Ranger. Eventually the Wind Rangers destroy Slob Goblin.
The Rangers were at Ninja Ops, gathered around Cam and Sensei Kanoi. The Rangers had just finished battling a new creature, Motodrone. Cam came up with a startling discovery, Motodrone had human DNA. Later, Cam would discover that Motodrone was Perry - a mechanic helping Blake and Hunter. Hunter had been captured by Motodrone and Blake was anxious to find him. Sensei Kanoi cautioned Blake that not only was his brother in danger, but Perry as well. If Motodrone was not destroyed, Perry would eventually be absorbed by Motodrone and no longer exist. Eventually the Rangers were able to rescue Hunter and destroy Motodrone, freeing Perry.
Sensei Kanoi went on a retreat and left a note behind at Ninja Ops. On the note, he instructed Shane, Dustin, Tori, Blake, Hunter, and Cam to enjoy the following day as a day off. Their day off did not go as plan and instead, the Rangers battled Vexacus. Shane was given the Red Battlized gear by Skyla. At the end of the following day, Sensei Kanoi returned to Ninja Ops and he was aware of what had gone on in his absence. Shane entered Ninja Ops with Tori, Hunter, Blake, and Cam. Shane was depressed over the loss of Skyla. Sensei Kanoi told him that her power would live on in him. Dustin came in with a birthday cake with Tori and they all celebrated Tori's birthday.
Sensei Kanoi had received a letter from his friend, Mr. Chan, at the Asian History Museum. An artifact had arrived at the museum. Sensei Kanoi told his son Cam to retrieve the artifact for him. Cam returned later with the artifact and the news that Motodrone had returned. Later, Sensei Kanoi listened as Tori, Shane, Dustin, Blake, Hunter, and Cam told him of a new creature on the scene. Cam found a copy of it in the museum book. Sensei Kanoi told them it was the statue of Shimazu and what had brought Motodrone to life had also brought Shimazu to life as well. Sensei Kanoi cautioned the group that most likely Shimazu and Motodrone had formed an alliance with Lothor. Blake, Dustin, and Tori were grateful that they had at least destroyed the Wolf Blades, but the computer screen showed them differently. Sensei Kanoi, Tori, Blake, Dustin, Hunter, Cam, and Shane watched as the three Wolf Blades returned and combined into one huge monster.
The Rangers left to battle the Wolf Blades in their zords. The Rangers were getting badly beaten and Sensei Kanoi had Cam teleported the teens back to Ninja Ops. Cam told them it would take a day to repair the zords and Sensei Kanoi instructed them to be careful. Cam thought it would be a good time to use the powerful, ancient artifact and Sensei Kanoi agreed. Dustin, Shane, Hunter, Blake, and Tori were excited to see what it was. They speculated that it might be a powerful sword or staff. They were very disappointed when the parcel was opened to reveal another scroll. Cam was intrigued. The following day, Shane, Hunter, Blake, Tori, and Dustin were called back to Ninja Ops. Cam told them he would need their power discs to open the time portal to retrieve the powerful weapon. Everyone was reluctant to give up their power discs. Sensei Kanoi told them it was the only thing powerful for Cam to use. Cam told them the zords were ready and Cyber Cam would be online to help them. They could still use their zords, they would just be in civilian form. Hunter, Blake, Tori, Dustin, and Shane gave Cam their power discs. Cam was opened to open the time portal and retrieve the new weapon - the Lighting Riff Blaster. With the Lighting Riff Blaster, Green Samurai Ranger was able to summoned the Mighty Mammothzord and the Rangers were able to destroy the Wolf Blades.
Sensei Kanoi gave the three Wind Rangers a test. The Wind Rangers faced duplicates of themselves. While Shane and Dustin fought their, Tori did nothing and her duplicated vanished. Sensei Kanoi told them sometimes caution is the best action. Because Tori passed the test, Sensei Kanoi sent her on a mission to retrieve the jade turtle. The jade turtle contained a powerful sphere that would help the Rangers. Eventually Tori found the jade turtle and inside was the scroll for the mace turtle. The Rangers used the mace turtle and destroyed Snipster.
Goldwinger had sent Tori to an alternate dimension, the gold dust dimension. In this dimension, Lothor was the mayor of Blue Bay Harbor, the Kelzaks, Marah and Kapri were good, as well as various monsters. The Power Rangers were evil and intent on destroying the city. Tori arrived in Ninja Ops and told the guys what was going on. Hunter, Blake, Cam, Shane, and Dustin were thrilled with the damaged they had done. Confused, Tori turned to Sensei Kanoi. Sensei Kanoi told her if she was tired of being a Power Ranger, she knew where the waterfall was, and not to let the splash hit her on the way out. Blake, Cam, Shane, Dustin, and Hunter surrounded Tori and she had to fight her way out. Sensei Kanoi was unconcern. Tori would eventually find her way back to her own dimension.
Blake, Hunter, Tori, and Dustin were leaving as Shane entered Ninja Ops. Shane wanted to speak to Sensei Kanoi alone, so Cam left as well. Shane told Sensei Kanoi how his brother, Porter, had seen him morph into the Red Ranger and knows his secret. Shane knows it's wrong, but he is kind of glad that his brother knows and feels he finally has his brother's respect. Sensei Kanoi ask Shane how well he knows his brother. Shane replied that there was a big age difference between the two and it felt like they grew up in two different households. Sensei Kanoi told Shane he should know someone, before wanting their respect.
Sensei Kanoi and Cam watched the monitor as Cam scanned for signs of Lothor. Everything had been quiet for several days. Cam suggested that maybe Lothor had given up. Sensei Kanoi did not believe so. It was too quiet. He had the feeling Lothor was up to something. Later, Blake, Hunter, Tori, Dustin, and Shane were lead into a trap and attacked by Kelzaks Furries. After the Rangers defeated them, Shane contacted Sensei Kanoi. Sensei Kanoi told them to continue with their camping trip. Later, the Rangers were in another battle with Vexacus and Shimazu. Green Ranger arrived to help them. Zurgane arrived in his zord. The Rangers call for their zords. The battle continued, but things were not looking good for the Rangers.
Eventually, Zurgane retreated, and while the other Rangers cheered, Green Ranger thought it was too easy. Cam and Tori returned to Ninja Ops, while the rest returned to their camping trip. Cam was right to be suspicious as Zurgane had copied their moves, and the next battle, Zurgane used them on the Rangers. Sensei Kanoi contacted the Rangers and told them to retreat. Cam told the group it would take a couple of hours to get the zords back online. Zurgane, in his zord, was still in the city. Sensei Kanoi suggested to them that there may be other resources they could use. Shane suggested the gliders and Blake the Tsumni Cycles. The group left and this time, they defeated Zurgane.
Sensei Kanoi has Cam search for a radiation source. Cam returns with Zurgane's broken sword. In Ninja Ops, everyone watches the satellite video of Vexacus destroying Zurgane. Sensei Kanoi tells the group it's time to become proactive in their rescue of the ninja students. They need a powerful energy source that can get them to Lothor's ship. Hunter confesses that he kept some of the fragments of the Gem of Souls and suggests it might be powerful enough. The group questions Hunter as to why he keep the pieces, and Hunter tells them he had hoped he could contact his parents again. Sensei Kanoi tells Hunter there is no way to return to the past, Dustin interjects with except for a scroll. Sensei Kanoi tells them they can do something now. Using the fragments of the Gem of Souls, Cam leaves in his ship. Sensei Kanoi waits anxiously for his son's return. Although Green Ranger has found the ninja students, he has to return to help the rest of the Rangers battle Condortron. The Rangers defeat Condortron.
Sensei Kanoi had Cam contact Shane, Tori, Dustin, Blake, and Hunter and instruct them to come to Ninja Ops immediately. Tori, Dustin, Blake, Hunter, and Shane arrived. Cam had his computer screen up and they all watched a zord walking through a wooden area, calling out for the Rangers. The voice sounded like Kapri. The group prepared to head out. Sensei Kanoi stopped Blake and Hunter, and reminded them that whatever their differences, they had to put them aside for the battle ahead. Blake and Hunter assured Sensei Kanoi they would. Sensei Kanoi and Cam monitored the battle. Not only was Kapri operating a zord, but Marah and Shimazu as well. The Rangers were in their various zords. Navy Ranger and Crimson Ranger began to argue. Sensei Kanoi contacted them and asked them what they had just talked about. Crimson Ranger and Navy Ranger apologized. Eventually Cam would join the Rangers and they would destroy all three zords.
Tori, Dustin, Shane, Blake and Hunter entered Ninja Ops, slightly abashed. They had been so excited about the U.S. Action Games, they had forgotten to invite Cam, and ask Sensei Kanoi if it was okay to go. Cam did not let them off easy. Sensei Kanoi was more understanding, and let them all go to the games. The following day, Cam decides to return to Ninja Ops, after investigating an area Marah and Kapri were at. Cam returned to Ninja Ops and showed his father a puzzling item - his ambulant had frozen. Sensei Kanoi asked Cam if it had done it before. Cam told him, it had before, but only to warm up a little when something good happened. Cam suddenly realized that the frozen ambulant meant something really bad had occurred. Cam couldn't believe it was so obvious, but his dad told him that sometimes the obvious answer is the right one. Cam became frustrated as power to Ops became drained because of the ambulant. Cam sent Cyber Cam to go to the manual overdrive, which was outside of Ninja Ops. As Sensei Kanoi and Cam worked, they received a shock, Lothor, Marah and Kapri were in Ninja Ops. They had captured Cyber Cam. Cyber Cam deprogrammed himself and vanished under a table. Cam stood up and told Lothor he was not taking his father. Lothor was not interested in Sensei Kanoi, he wanted his nephew. Sensei Kanoi and Cam fought Lothor as Marah and Kapri set about destroying Ninja Ops. Lothor managed to capture Cam. Furious, Sensei Kanoi leaped at Lothor, demanding he let go of his son. Lothor blasted him into the walls.
Tori, Shane, and Dustin entered Ninja Ops and found it demolished. Blake and Hunter entered. They had ejected from their zord before the fatal blow from Vexacus. The group began to clean up and search for Cam and Sensei Kanoi. Sensei Kanoi walked in on them. He had reverted back to human form. Shane, Dustin, and Tori were thrilled to see him, and Hunter and Blake to finally see him as a human. They asked him about Cam, and Sensei Kanoi told them about Lothor capturing Cam. He believed that Lothor plan to use the Samurai Ambulant to open the Abyss of Evil. Dustin, Tori, Blake, Hunter, and Shane asked him about the Abyss of Evil. Sensei Kanoi told them it was no conscience that the Wind Ninja Academy was by the Abyss of Evil. The Wind Ninja Academy had been standing guard. They decided Cam needed to be rescue and Lothor stopped. Hunter and Blake left to go on Lothor's ship - since they knew the layout the best. Shane, Tori, and Dustin remained in Ninja Ops with Sensei Kanoi. Tori, Dustin, and Shane were feeling pretty low. Dustin pointed out if they hadn't been late, they probably wouldn't have become Power Rangers. Sensei Kanoi overheard them and told them they were always meant to be Power Rangers. Sensei Kanoi showed them a the bottom piece of the Scroll of Destiny. It has a drawing of Shane, Tori, and Dustin. Sensei Kanoi never had any doubt that they were meant to be Power Rangers. Dustin asked him about the rest of the scroll. Sensei Kanoi told them that was the end of the scroll. It does not say who wins, only that they must face down Lothor. Feeling empowered, Shane, Dustin, and Tori morphed and head up to find Lothor. Blake and Hunter helped Cam, the ninja students, and even Marah and Kapri escape Lothor's ship. The ninja students joined the Rangers in battling all the evil released from the Abyss of Evil. All the monsters and generals are tossed back in. Lothor uses the ambulant to steal the Rangers' powers. Shane, Dustin, and Tori use their inner ninja powers and push Lothor into the Abyss of Evil. The overload causes the Abyss of Evil to close. Later, at the Wind Ninja Academy, Sensei Kanoi honors Dustin, Shane, Tori, Blake, Hunter, and Cam with medals of honor. After the ceremony, Sensei Kanoi stands with Cam as he greets the new students entering the Wind Ninja Academy. Two of the new students are Marah and Kapri. Sensei Kanoi points out that you can't pick your family and Cam replies that he's just glad he doesn't have to feed his guinea pig food any longer. Cam is further put out when Tally, Eric, and Kyle arrive. Cam tells his dad he is not sure he can do this any longer. Sensei Kanoi tells him maybe he is right and someone else should take over. Shane, Dustin, and Tori step forward in their teaching uniforms. Sensei Kanoi tells them there is no reason to break up a winning team.
A year later, the Abyss of Evil becomes loosen due to construction workers. This enables Lothor to escape, with two new monster generals at his side. Lothor immediately finds his brother, Sensei Kanoi, and manages to capture him. Bound and gagged, and left on the side of a cliff, Sensei Kanoi struggles to get free. He is cannot stop Lothor from tricking Tori, Dustin, and Shane into thinking he is actually Sensei Kanoi. Lothor, as Sensei Kanoi, gets Dustin, Shane, and Tori to put on their morphers. Once on, the morphers place a spell on Shane, Tori, and Dustin, causing them to be under Lothor's spell.
Sensei Kanoi was taken to a cave and was unable to escape. Marah and Kapri, who pretended to return to Lothor's side, rescue Sensei Kanoi during Lothor's power nap. Sensei Kanoi was still gagged and bound as Marah and Kapri dragged him by his feet. Once outside, Sensei Kanoi was released and he immediately went into action. Sensei Kanoi went inside the Abyss of Evil, where Blake, Hunter, and Cam were. Hunter, Cam, and Blake had gone into the Abyss of Evil to retrieve their powers. The Abyss of Evil had started to shake and Blake had slipped. Hunter had managed to catch Blake, but he was slipping as well. Cam tried to pull his two friends up, but he was unable to until Sensei Kanoi arrived and helped him. Sensei Kanoi, Cam, Blake, and Hunter came up with a plan to break the spell Tori, Shane, and Dustin were under. The plan worked. Sensei Kanoi, Cam, Blake, Hunter, Tori, Shane, Dustin, Conner, Ethan, Trent, Kira, Hayley and Dr. O were at the dino lair, where they went over everything that had happened. It was now time to stop Lothor. The two Ranger teams leave for battle. Marah and Kapri arrived, and with Lothor's bottle, release the ninja students. The Power Rangers defeated the numerous Kelzaks, Tyrannodrones, Triptoids, the Wolf Blades, two Generals, Zurgane. Elsa retreated. Sensei Kanoi and Hayley have monitored the battle and Sensei Kanoi thanks Hayley for all her help. All the Rangers returned to the dino lair once more. Everyone was in high spirits. Dustin wanted to know how Sensei Kanoi was freed. Marah and Kapri spoke up and told everyone what they had done. Everyone, including Sensei Kanoi laughed. Kapri and Marah did not understand, and told Sensei Kanoi he needed to watch what he ate, as he was not light. Sensei Kanoi laughed and told them he would keep that in mind.
