Cam travels back to the past and encounters his father when he was a ninja student. Cam is taken into the school as a trainee. There he finds out that his father (Kanoi) had a twin brother (Kiya) and the samurai warrior is his mother - the first female student at the Wind Ninja Academy. The ambulent that his mother wears, contains the power that Cam needs but does not know how to ask for. Kiya steals the pendant, but Cam is accused of stealing. Kanoi interrupts and brings forward his brother, who confesses that he stole the pendant. Sensei tells the Kiya his actions cause him expulsion from the school. Kiya does not go easily and tries to take the ambulent once more. Cam caughts the ambulent as it goes through the air and Kiya goes after Cam. Cam and Kiya battle. The ambulent around Cam's neck begans to glow and knocks Kiya on the ground. Kiya is captured again and reveals that he will from now on go by a new name - Lothor. Sensei places Kiya in a bubble and sends him out into space. Cam's time is up and he must return to the present time. Cam takes the ambulent with him, returns as the Green Samuari Rangers and takes out Madtroplis. Cam also reveals to his friends that he is the Green Samuari Ranger.
