DR. MEDLAND

Dr. Medland - Jim McLarty

Dr. Medland is an archeologist.  He was on an expedition in Brazil.  Dr. Medland was walking through the jungle when he realized he was on the right track.  Dr. Medland:  This must be it.  I knew it was somewhere in Brazil.  In front of him was a temple.  Dr. Medland:  The as myth of the sun.  The rock formation!  Dr. Medland walked to the front of the temple and then dropped down to his knees.  Dr. Medland:  Dead center and align in with the teeth.  Dr. Medland began digging into the ground.  He soon discovered something wrapped in cloth.  Dr. Medland unraveled the cloth and became very excited.  Dr. Medland:  The Yanomami statue!  Dr. Medland held the statue in his hands for a few moments.  Dr. Medland raced back to his camp.  He excitedly called out to colleagues about what he had found.  A group gathered around him as Dr. Medland proudly displayed the Yanomami statue.  Suddenly two fierce creatures appeared before them.  The two fierce creatures were the Fearcats.  The Fearcats demanded to know where the jewel was.  Dr. Medland had no idea what they were talking about and told them so.  The Fearcats had a book they had uncovered in Portugal, which stated the jewel was here.  Dr. Medland and his colleagues were confused.  Angry, the Fearcats destroyed the camp and injured several people including Dr. Medland.  After the Fearcats left, Dr. Medland sat in a daze.  Moments later, five teens, Ronny, Rose, Dax, Mack, and Will, entered the camp.  Mack wondered what had happened.  Dr. Medland told him about the two creatures and the destruction they had caused.  He also told the teens the Fearcats had been looking for a jewel.  Ronny decided to stay behind and help out the camp, while the rest left to try and find the Fearcats.  Later, another young man, Tyzonn,  entered the camp.  Ronny had worked quickly and the camp was already  looking better and the people taken care of.  Tyzonn had approached Dr. Medland and asked him if he needed any help.  Dr. Medland proudly told Tyzonn Ronny had taken care of everything.  Ronny walked towards them.  Ronny was surprised to see Tyzonn in Brazil.  Tyzonn was impress with the bandage she had put on Dr. Medland.  Ronny asked Tyzonn what he was doing here.  Dax, Mack, Will, and Rose returned and told Ronny that Tyzonn had been busy saving them from the Fearcats.  With Dr. Medland and the camp okay, the teens made plans to find the jewel and stop the Fearcats.

Dr. Medland and his fellow archeologists were done with their expeditions.  As they were about to leave, they ran into Ronny, Rose, Dax, Mack, Will, and Tyzonn.  Dr. Medland thanked them again for their help against those vile creatures.  Mack told him it was what they do.  Ronny added they wanted to make sure they were okay.  Dr. Medland told them they were thanks to them.  Dr. Medland wanted to give them a gift in appreciation for what they had done.  Mack stepped forward and accepted the gift.  It was the Yanomami statue.  Dr. Medland told the teens it was an ancient relic.  The teens' Trackers went off.  Mack quickly took a reading.  The Yanomami statue had strong jewel readings.  The teens were thrilled they had the next clue to the next jewel.  Dr. Medland and his team were also happy for the teens.
