The teens have arrive in Turkey and are walking the streets. Rose is holding the book with the picture of the Hou-ou in it. Rose: It's not just a bird. It's the Hou-ou. The legendary Japanese king of birds that according to legend, if you sent it free, it will give you clues to find the Torhu diamond. The world's most precious diamond. Will gets a reading and they enter a home, whose door is blown open. The teens are dismayed to discover the safe with the Hou-ou statue, has already been broken into.
Everyone returns to the Hartford mansion. Ronny, Rose, Dax, and Mack are at the base. They know Will is in a meeting with Mr. Hartford and it is long meeting. Mr. Hartford eventually enters the base. Mr. Hartford tells the teens he had to let Will go, because he sold zord technology to a rival. Mr. Hartford warns the teens that Will still has his Tracker, despite Mr. Hartford asking him to leave it. Mr. Hartford warns the teens that this makes Will dangerous. Elsewhere, Miratrix is training when Will walks up. Will tries to talk to Miratrix, but Miratrix doesn't trust him. Will quickly morphs into Black Ranger. black Ranger and Miratrix battle until Miratrix is defeated. Miratrix is surprised when Black Ranger demorphs instead of taking the fatal blow. Will explains he doesn't want to fight her, he wants to work with her. After explaining why he has been let go, Will tells Miratrix the two of them can take over the city. Miratrix considers Will for a moment and then decides to let him help her. At the base, Ronny is convince they don't need to worry about Will. Will would never hurt them. Dax points how much power Will has. Rose begins searching for Will. In the city, Will breaks into a building with heavy security. Will steals a device for Miratrix and gets outside without being detected. Miratrix is pleased, but Will is not ready to give up the device. Miratrix eventually just takes the device. Rose, Ronny, Dax, and Mack arrive and assume Will has captured Miratrix. The four teens are stunned when Will morphs into Black Ranger and is ready to battle them. Black Rangers blast the four teens off their feet. Dax, Mack, Ronny, and Rose morphed. Black Ranger asks Miratrix if she is going to help. Miratrix takes the jewel from her necklace and places it on the device. The device releases Kamdor from the necklace. Kamdor joins in the battle against the four Rangers. Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Red Ranger are defeated. Black Ranger leaves with Miratrix and Kamdor.
Ronny, Rose, Dax, and Mack return to the base. The teens realized Mr. Hartford is right and Will can not be trusted. Dax can't believe Will has hook up with his ex. Rose and Ronny look puzzled and Dax and Max tell them it's man law. Elsewhere, Kamdor is not happy to have Will on the team. Miratrix explains to Will two years ago, on a distant planet, Kamdor helped her out of a situation. For his troubles, Kamdor was locked in the crystal. Miratrix was determined to free him. Kamdor feels two years was too long. Kamdor does not trust Will. Kamdor also had not know the four teens were Will's friends. If so, Kamdor would have destroy them. Back at the base, the four teens plus Mr. Hartford are searching for Will. Dax notices a faint reading. It's not much, but a place to start. The four teens leave. Rose, Dax, Mack, and Ronny are in the woods. Dax is leading and soon has a reading. Will comes out from behind a tree and tells them he let them find him. Dax, Mack, Ronny, and Rose morph. Will does the same. Black Ranger battles Pink Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Red Ranger. Kamdor and Miratrix watch the battle. Black Ranger eventually blasts the four Rangers and they are gone. Mack, Ronny, Rose, and Dax are stunned when they appear at the base. As they wonder what happen, Rose realizes they have been set up. Mr. Hartford walks in and tells them in order not to blow Will's cover, they had to act like Will had left and convince them it was for real. Mr. Hartford had modify Will's Tracker before he left. Will and Mr. Hartford had figure out that Miratrix had taken the Hou-ou statue. If it had been Flurious or Moltor, someone would have seen a monster. Will's plan is to get the Hou-ou statue. Elsewhere, Miratrix is sitting and looking at the Hou-ou statue. Will walks up and compliments Miratrix on her new hairstyle. As Will sits next to Miratrix he tells her he bets her beauty if more stunning than the jewel. Miratrix is very flattered. Kamdor enters the room. Despite Will's earlier actions, Kamdor still does not trust Will. Kamdor asks Miratrix to give him the Hou-ou statue. Which she does. At the base, Ronny picks up a strange sound. Rose recognizes it as morose code, which she can decipher. The morose code is from Will. In the woods, Will is continuing to punch in the morose code in his Tracker. Kamdor walks up and asks Will what he is doing. Will replies that he is just pushing buttons to a song he can't get out of his head. Kamdor does not believe him.
Will, Kamdor, and Miratrix walk out to a field. Kamdor instructs Miratrix to hold up the Hou-ou statue up in the right angle. Miratrix holds up the Hou-ou statue at the right angle and it turns into a real bird. They are ready to follow the bird to find the Torhu diamond when Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger, Red Ranger, and Pink Ranger drop down. Miratrix can't believe the Rangers are still alive and realizes Will has tricked them. Will tells Miratrix just like she trick Dax. Will joins the Rangers. Miratrix takes off to follow the Hou-ou bird. Black Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers to follow Miratrix, he will take care of Kamdor. Blue Ranger, Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Pink Ranger go after Miratrix. Will races towards Kamdor. Will battles Kamdor and morphs into Black Ranger. As Black Ranger and Kamdor battle, the rest of the Rangers catch up to Miratrix. Miratrix battles the four Rangers. Miratrix calls on Kamdor for help and Kamdor creates a monster for her. Black Ranger blasts Kamdor and Kamdor vanishes in the smoke. Black Rangers leaves to join the rest of the Rangers in their battle against Miratrix and monster. Black Ranger is unaware that he did not destroy Kamdor and Kamdor reappears. The Rangers defeat the monster. Kamdor brings the monster and grows it to giant size. Red Ranger calls on Spencer to send the zords. Black Ranger calls for the new zord, Crane zord. The Drive Max Megazord is assemble and the Rangers battle the monster. As the Rangers battle, Miratrix had located the Hou-ou bird. The Hou-ou bird drops a parchment which Miratrix picks up. Miratrix is thrilled, she will be able to find the Torhu diamond. Meanwhile, the Rangers destroy the monster.
Miratrix is looking at the parchment when Kamdor walks up. Kamdor is pleased that the Hou-ou bird had helped them. But there is a problem. Miratrix points out that she can't read the parchment.
