Kick Into Overdrive, Part II

The Rangers have demorph and everyone has gathered into a circle.  Will:  We can't let them get away, we have to go after the crown!  Mr. Hartford:  No.  There are people to be save first.  Ronny:  But the crown?  Mr. Hartford told them it wasn't the real crown, which surprised the five teens.  Mr. Hartford has Ronny, Rose, and Dax go to the base of the volcano to try and find a way to stop the lava.  Will and Mack are ready to go into the city to help the people.  Mr. Hartford tries to stop his son.  Mack tells his dad he has started this and he is going to finish it.  Will and Mack take off.  Mr. Hartford is very worried about Mack.  Spencer tells him that Mack will be fine.

Black Ranger and Red Ranger are kept busy trying to keep the people away from the lava and saving various citizens that are trapped.  At the base of the volcano, Pink Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Yellow Ranger are also busy.  Yellow Ranger breaks through the outer layer, exposing the lava.  The heat is extreme.  Blue Ranger uses his weapon to cool down the lava and Pink Ranger uses her weapon to spray water on the cooled lava.  The three Rangers have stopped the lava at the base of the volcano.  In the city, black Ranger and Red Ranger have manage to save the people, but they are now trapped as the lava continues towards them.  Red Ranger asks Black Ranger if he still has his hammer.  Black Ranger immediately brings out his hammer and starts pounding the pavement.  A crack appear in the road and the lava poured into the crack.  The people cheered and Black Ranger and Red Ranger were very happy with what they had accomplish.  Every one had returned to base.  Will was disappointed they had gotten the bad guys, but Mr. Hartford reassured him they will.  Mr. Hartford told them what a great job they had done.  Rose pointed out it had been Mack who had been a the hero of the day.  Mr. Hartford agreed and told Mack he had wanted to be a Power Ranger and he had done a great job.  Now the fantasy was done.  Mr. Hartford took Mack's Overdrive Tracker and walked out of the room.  Rose, Dax, Will, and Ronny were stunned.  Mack was hurt.  Mr. Hartford goes to the safe in his study.  Mr. Hartford places the Overdrive Tracker inside the safe and removes the Corona Aurora crown.  Suddenly, Moltor and several Lava Lizards are in the study.  Moltor tells Mr. Hartford nice trick.  Before Mr. Hartford can react, Moltor and the Lava Lizards capture Mr. Hartford.  Below the mansion, Dax, Rose, Ronny, and Will explore all the capabilities the base has to offered and are very impressed.  They located the bay where the zords are held, and they are thrilled with them.  Especially Ronny.  Outside the mansion, Mack is sitting on some steps alone.  Spencer walks up to Mack and gently teases him about not reading an adventure book.  Mack tells him he is no longer in the mood for adventure books.  Mack is tired of reading about other people's adventures.  Spencer sits down next to Mack and Mack questions Spencer as to why his father keeps him so protected.  Spencer tells Mack that his father is the most fearless man he has ever known.  Mr. Hartford's one weakness is Mack.   Spencer tells Mack that of all Mr. Hartford's possessions, Mr. Hartford's considers Mack to be the one irreplaceable person in his life.  Mack feels a lot better.  Mack races into his father's study.  Instead of finding his father, Mack finds the study in disarray and his father missing.

Moltor takes Mr. Hartford to the beach and tosses him down.  Flurious arrives and tells his brother he has done a good job.  Mr. Hartford gets up as Flurious tells Moltor since he got Mr. Hartford to find the crown, maybe he can get Mr. Hartford to find the jewels.  Mr. Hartford insists he won't help them.  Neither Flurious or Moltor pay him much attention.  Flurious assumes that his brother is working with him and Moltor keeps up the pretense.  Flurious leaves, as the weather is too hot for him right now.  Moltor assures Flurious that he will take care of matters.  Inside the Hartford mansion, Mack tells the others that his father is missing and he is pretty sure the Lava Lizards had something to do with it.  Spencer tells them if Mr. Hartford has his locator watch on, they will be able to find him.  Dax reassures Mack that they will do everything they can to find his father.  Mack only wishes he still had the red Overdrive Tracker.  Spencer tells them the Overdrive Tracker is locked in a safe.  An unbreakable safe.  Will cannot resist the challenge.  Will gets to work right away on the safe.  Will soon has a copy of Mr. Hartford's thumbprint and uses it to open the safe.  Meanwhile, the rest of the teens have located where Mr. Hartford is, Rotunda Island.  Rose wonders how they reach the island quickly.  Spencer tells them Mr. Hartford had invited just the thing, a Special Hydro/Aero Recon Craft that he likes to call S.H.A.R.C.  The teens are excited and Ronny volunteers to drive.  Mack insists on going as well and tells Spencer he can't stop him.  Spencer tells Mack he wouldn't dare.  Will enters and tells Mack then he is probably going to need this and tosses the red Overdrive Tracker to him.  Mack is thrilled and the rest are happy Will was able to retrieve it.  Will questions was there any doubt?  The five teens takes off in the S.H.A.R.C. and head to Rotunda Island.  Ronny takes great delight in getting her friends to Rotunda Island.  Once on the island, the teens begin to search for Mr. Hartford.  Will uses his incredible vision to locate the cave Mr. Hartford is being held at.  Will also hears some noises.  It is several Lava Lizards.  The teens battle the Lava Lizards.  Mack hollers out that someone needs to help his dad.  Dax tells him he will do and springs away towards the cave.  Inside the cave, Moltor is threatening to throw Mr. Hartford into the lava if he does not help him find the jewels of the crown.  Mr. Hartford still refuses.  Moltor tosses one of his own Lava Lizards into the lava as a demonstration.  Mr. Hartford is frighten, but still refuses to help.

Mr. Hartford is stunned when the Lava Lizard climbs back out of the lava.  Moltor informs Mr. Hartford that lava doesn't harm the Lava Lizards.  Moltor then tosses Mr. Hartford into the lava.  No one has notice Dax entering the cave.  As Mr. Hartford falls, Dax goes into action.  Dax uses his weapon to grip the ceiling and uses the rope to swing over and catch Mr. Hartford.  They both swing back to the ground.  Moltor is furious and Mr. Hartford and Dax take off running.  As they meet with the rest of the teens outside, Mr. Hartford is surprised to see his son there.  Moltor has also come out of the cave.  Mack is ready to morph with his friends and his dad tries to stop him.  Mack tells his father he can yell at him later.  Mack, Dax, Rose, Ronny, and Will morph into Power Rangers.  The Power Rangers battled the Lava Lizards and Moltor as Mr. Hartford looks on.  Eventually the Rangers and Mr. Hartford leave the island on the S.H.A.R.C.      Moltor vows that he will destroy the island and all the creatures on it.  The Rangers and Mr. Hartford have returned to their base.  Spencer is there as well.  The screen shows Rotunda Island being attack by a monster.  The monster has to be stopped.  Rose, Ronny, Dax, and Will are all ready to go.  Mack wants to go as well.  Mr. Hartford glances at Ronny, Dax, Will, and Rose and they nod their heads eagerly.  Mr. Hartford lets Mack join them on this mission.  Mr. Hartford tells Mack to be careful.  Mack leads the team back to the  zord bay.  The Rangers entered their Drive Max zords and head back to the island.  The Rangers use their zords to form the Drive Max Megazord and battle the monster.  Mr. Hartford and Spencer watch the Rangers battle the monster.  Spencer is very impressed with Mack, while Mr. Hartford doesn't want to hear it.  The Rangers defeat the monster.  Moltor is not happy and revives the monster.  The battle continues until the Rangers destroy the monster.  Afterwards, Moltor and Flurious face each other.  Flurious knows that Moltor has failed to get the jewels and suggests he keep the crown.  Moltor refuses.  Moltor and Flurious battled each other.  Neither one wins the battle, but it is clear, from here on out, it's every man for himself.

Mack enters his dad's study and lays down the Overdrive Tracker onto the desk.  Mr. Hartford looks up from his paperwork.  Mack tells his dad that he understands why he does not want him to be a Power Ranger and will accept his decision.  Mr. Hartford knows his son enjoyed being a Power Ranger.  Mr. Hartford gives Mack the Overdrive Tracker back and tells him it's time for Mack to make his own decisions.  Mr. Hartford also adds that Mack looks better in red than he does.  Mr. Hartford tells Mack that he has plenty to do as well, as it will take all of their resources to stop them.  Mr. Hartford still does not like the idea of Mack being a Power Ranger, but he will accept his decision.  Mack is thrilled.   Later, at the Operation Overdrive base, Spencer is having Mack's genes resequence.  It doesn't take long for Mack to discover that he has super strength as he lifts Spencer into the air.  Mr. Hartford walks in and asks Mack to put Spencer down, which Mack does.  Spencer walks over to Mr. Hartford.  Mr. Hartford tells Mack, Rose, Ronny, Dax, and Will that Moltor and Flurious will be after the jewels, it's their job to get to the jewels first.  The teens are ready for the challenge.
