Go For The Green

Ziggy walked up on a stage, where a young man in costume stood. Summer, Flynn, and Scott sat at a table in front of the stage. Ziggy: And for our next Green Ranger candidate, allow me to present Captain Smoothie. Now he's mostly been working birthday parties and bar mitzvahs, but he could be ready to take it to the next level. Ziggy looked over at Captain Smoothie. Ziggy: Alright, you're on. Captain Smoothie went through his routine. Unfortunately he ended up being caught up in a ceiling fan and spun around. Summer: Oh, it's horrifying and at the same time I can't look away. Captain Smoothie ended up in his underpants and walked off the stage. Ziggy: Not to worry, not to worry. He was a...he was another warm-up. Another teaser if you will. Ziggy tried to take down the remnants of Captain Smoothie's costume off the ceiling fan.
Meanwhile, Dillon is at the lab in his suit. Dr. K is explaining how each Ranger suit has an individual feature that would help in battle. Dillon's suit has an indestructible shield that would last for 5 seconds. It has never been tested, but that is what Dr. K plans on doing now. Dillon's helmet goes on and he is ready.
Ziggy continues with the auditions, with one act after another. Scott, Summer, and Flynn become more and more frustrated with each act. Finally they can't take it any more and want to go. Ziggy promises he has the person and races out. Ziggy scans the line of people, trying to pick out the next Green Ranger. Ziggy is surprised when Fresno Bob comes out from the line. Ziggy owes Fresno Bob and he is ready to collect. Fresno Bob has his men escort Ziggy outside.
At Venjix's base, General Shifter is revealing his next robot. A subterranean robot that can tunnel through the ground like a gopher. General Crunch is impress, but wonders about the Power Rangers. Venjix tells them not to worry. He has a plan that will have the Rangers attacked from within.
Ziggy is taken to a back alley. Fresno Bob wants the money Ziggy owes him. The two men are ready to pound Ziggy, when they hear whistling. Everyone looks around. Suddenly a young woman comes leaping through the air. The young woman easily fights the two men and defeats them. Ziggy is hiding, but he is impressed. Fresno Bob warns Ziggy that all the cartels know he is out. Fresno Bob tosses down his card and tells Ziggy he needs to come to the race track with what he owes him. Fresno Bob and his two men leave. Ziggy tells the young woman he was about to take care of them when she had shown up. The young woman tells him she better get in line for the Ranger audition. Ziggy can't believe it. The young woman doesn't know if she has what it takes to be the Green Ranger, but Ziggy reassures her that she does. Ziggy takes her to see Scott, Summer, and Flynn.
They immediately put Tenaya Sevenson through vigorous training right in the auditorium. Tenaya passes with scores off the chart. Summer, Flynn, and Scott ask Ziggy how he found her, and he tells them that is what he does. Dr. K is on the computer screen and tells them they need to bond Tenaya to the green morpher. Ziggy volunteers to go get it. Flynn, Scott, and Summer tell Ziggy he did a good job. Ziggy is pleased by the compliment and then takes off. When Ziggy enters the lab, Dr. K warns Ziggy to protect the morpher with his life. Ziggy thinks that is a little extreme, but reassures her that the Zig man is on the job. When Ziggy returns to the auditorium, he sees Tenaya fighting the security guards and defeating them. Tenaya then reverts to her true form. Ziggy realizes he is in danger and takes off on a scooter. Tenaya 7 (Tenaya Sevenson) tries to stop him. Ziggy asks her what she is. Tenaya 7 gives a long explanation, in which Ziggy takes advantage and sprays water fluid on her. Ziggy manages to get away on the scooter. Summer, Flynn, and Scott walk back into the auditorium and find the security guards on the floor. They know this is not good and takes off. Ziggy manages to put some distance between him and Tenaya 7. He stops and contacts Dr. K, telling her that his perfect candidate is really Venjix's latest attack bot. Dr. K stresses the importance of keeping the green morpher safe. Dillon contacts Ziggy and tells him to stay put, as he will track him through the morpher. Ziggy wants Dillon to hurry, this robot is different. Dr. K wants to know how and Ziggy tells her that she enjoys this. Ziggy hears her whistling once more, and is very nervous.
Scott enters headquarters and he is not happy. Summer and Flynn are already there. Scott can not believe they had relied on Ziggy. Dr. K gives them more bad news. There is another robot burrowing it's way into the city. Meanwhile, Ziggy continues to keep a fearful eye out for Tenaya 7. Suddenly Tenaya 7 is there and makes a grab for Ziggy. Ziggy manages to get away. Ziggy takes a look at the card Fresno Bob left and gets an idea. Ziggy goes over to the race track and greets Fresno Bob, who tells Ziggy that he constantly surprises him. Ziggy gives him his book bag as what he owes. Fresno Bob tells him he owes more than what is in the book bag. Tenaya 7 arrives and tells Fresno Bob that the book bag is hers. Ziggy manages to get away as Tenaya 7 fights Fresno Bob's men once more. Ziggy doubles check to make sure he still has the green morpher and then takes off. Dillon's car pulls up and Ziggy jumps in. Suddenly there is the familiar whistling, which Ziggy informs Dillon it is something Tenaya 7 likes to do. Tenaya 7 jumps onto the hood of the car as Dillon and Ziggy try to leave. Dillon gets out of the car. Dillon and Tenaya 7 battled. Ziggy gets out of the car as well. Dillon morphs. Black Ranger battles Tenaya 7. Black Ranger gets knock to the ground and Tenaya 7 goes after Ziggy, knocking him to the ground as well and taking the green morpher. Tenaya 7 gives a speech. Ziggy tells her she talks to much and grabs a hold of the green morpher. During the struggle, Ziggy activates the green morpher and becomes the Green Ranger, not something he wanted. Green Ranger manages to get out of Tenaya 7's blows. Black Ranger gets back up and battles Tenaya 7, damaging her visor in the process. Tenaya 7 is defeated, but she taunts the two Rangers that they will not be able to stop the Gopher Robot. Green Ranger and Black Ranger locate where the robot, in the woods. The two Rangers arrive in the woods. Gopher Robot burrows his way up. Green Ranger runs and hides behind a tree. Black Ranger battles the robot and gets knock to the ground. Red Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Yellow Ranger arrive and make sure Black Ranger is okay. Then they notice Green Ranger and wonder who it is. There is no time for answers as Gopher robot burrows his way away from them, burying Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Blue Ranger in a huge pile of dirt. They are ready to go after the robot, except for Green Ranger. Black Ranger drags him along. Black Ranger and Green Ranger reach the robot first. They fire at the robot and knocked it down, but not for long. Venjix upgrades the robot to giant size. The rest of the Rangers arrive, still wondering who the Green Ranger is. Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Red Ranger form the High Octane Megazord. The three Rangers battle and destroy the robot.
After the battle, the Rangers return to their headquarters. Flynn, Summer, and Scott are anxious to see who the new Green Ranger is. Dillon reveals the Green Ranger - Ziggy. Summer, Scott, and Flynn are not happy and stress being a Ranger is not a joke. Dr. K is not happy either. There are rigorous tests to take before someone becomes a Power Ranger. Dillon explains that Ziggy was told to protect the green morpher at all costs - which he did. The only way to protect the morpher was to become the Green Ranger. Flynn, Scott, and Summer walk out frustrated. Dillon follows them out. Ziggy is not faze at all, he wants to know if it is okay to wear the suit on dates.
