Flynn, Scott, and Dillon are working in the garage. Dillon is working on his car. Scott: Yo Dillon! What you got under the hood of that heap? Six? Eight? Dillon: Twelve and then some. Scott: Ever heard the expression "too much of a good thing"? Dillon: Heard of it, don't buy it. Scott got into his car to prove his point. Soon Dillon and Scott were revving their engines, trying to prove the other was better. They did not hear Dr. K. Summer walked in and managed to get their attention. Summer pointed out that Dr. K had been trying to contact Dillon. The fun is over as Dillon gets out of his car and goes to see Dr. K.
At Venjix headquarters, Venjix is revealing his latest robot to Generals Crunch, Swifter, and Tenaya 7. Generals Crunch and Swifter are impressed by Nozzbot. Not Tenaya 7. Venjix also tells them with the new robot, something old must go. Generals Crunch and Swifter step back. Venjix selects Tenaya 7, as she had failed to get the green morpher.
Inside the lab, Dillon is in his suit. Dr. K shows diagrams of his zord, which Dillon is confident he can drive. Dr. K wants him to be confident with his invincibility shield and is ready to go him through some tests. Dillon activates his helmet and Dr. K has a weapon aimed at Black Ranger. Black Ranger is not ready and hits the floor.
Meanwhile, at Venjix's headquarters, numerous Grinders approached Tenaya 7. Tenaya 7 battles and destroys all the Grinders. Venjix is impressed and decides to give Tenaya 7 a second chance. General Shifter protests. Venjix destroys him. General Crunch laughs at the broken pieces of General Shifter. Venjix wants Tenaya 7 to help Nozzbot enter the city of Corinth.
Ziggy and Summer are playing a game of pool as Scott watches. Dillon had walked out of the lab, when Dr. K tells him he owes three minutes of training. Dillon remarks to bill him. Dillon opens the fridge and out pops a weapon. Dillon can't believe and is blasted off his feet. Seconds later Colonel Truman, on screen, is talking to the teens. There has been a breach. The teens need to stop them before they damage the grid.
The teens race over to their vehicles. Flynn stops Dillon before he hops into his car. Flynn was in the middle of changing one of the tires, and Dillon won't be able to use his car. Flynn, Summer, and Ziggy take off. Scott suggests to Dillon to ride in his car. Dillon gets in and they take off. In the city Tenaya 7 and numerous Grinders are battling the security guards. Summer, Flynn, and Ziggy arrive and immediately leap into battle. Scott and Dillon soon arrive and they leap into battle as well. Eventually Flynn, Summer, Scott, and Ziggy morph. The four Rangers continue to battle the Grinders. Dillon ends facing Tenaya 7. Dillon morphs. Black Ranger battles Tenaya 7. Dr. K, over the morpher, instructs Black Ranger to use his invincibility shield. Black Ranger does, but it is a half hearted attempt and Black Ranger ends up being knocked to the ground. Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Blue Ranger race over and use the road blaster to knock Tenaya 7 to the ground. Tenaya 7 backs off, but not before placing something underneath Red Ranger's car. The teens go to the lab. Dillon paces back and forth as the rest of the teens face the screen of Dr. K. Dr. K wants more training for Dillon. Dillon has had enough. Dillon asks his friends if they had ever seen Dr. K and brings up the possibility of Dr. K broadcasting anywhere. Dr. K tells him no one wants to see Venjix destroyed more. Dillon then states that Dr. K can test the invincibility shield and storms out. Venjix is surprised when Tenaya 7 returns to base, as she had failed her mission. Tenaya 7 may have been defeated in battle, but she did leave a little surprise for the Rangers. Tenaya 7 holds up her arm and her hand is missing. In the garage, her hands drops to the floor.
Flynn is in the kitchen, making a smoothie. He asks for various fruits from Dillon, who is standing there. Tenaya 7 is able to watch them through her hand, which is making it's way into the kitchen. Dillon gets tired of being asked to pass various fruits and walks out. Flynn is unaware and when he asks for an apple, it's Tenaya 7' s hand which passes it to him. General Crunch, who is watching with Tenaya 7, asks her why she did that, but Tenaya 7 doesn't have an answer. Tenaya 7's hand continues to make it's way across the floor. Summer and Scott come in through the lab. While the doors are open, the hand makes it in. Tenaya 7 is triumphant. The alarm goes off just as Flynn is about to take a drink of his smoothie. On screen, Colonel Truman informs the teens about the breach and the threat to the city's grid. Several Grinders have made it into the city and the security guards are overwhelmed. The teens jump into their vehicle and are about to take off, when the doors are closed. There is some confusion and soon they discovered the hand causing the chaos. They try to destroy the hand, and in the process, beat Scott with pool sticks. Eventually they morph and try to destroy the hand with their weapons. The hand grabs hold of the laser torch and is ready to fire at the Rangers. Black Ranger uses his invincibility shield and protects the group. Tenaya 7 points out that his five seconds is over. Black Ranger and Dr. K know what to do. Black Ranger opens the refrigerator and out comes the laser canons. Tenaya 7 can't believe it as her hand is destroyed. The Rangers then take off to save the city. General Crunch makes the mistake of asking Venjix when he was going to make Nozzbot big, or was he going to wait until Nozzbot was defeated. Venjix blasts General Crunch. Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Blue Ranger use the Road Blaster to defeat Nozzbot. Venjix downloads the program and Nozzbot is back and giant size. The three Rangers form their High Octane Megazord and the battle continues. Green Ranger and Black Ranger watch the battle from below. General Crunch makes another mistake as he asks Venjix while they don't send all the drones when the shields are down. Venjix blasts General Crunch once more, but sends in all the drones. With the drones firing as well, Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Red Ranger are having a difficult time.
Black Ranger contacts Dr. K and asks about the zords. Dr. K believes since it has a steering wheel, Black Ranger can operate it. Black Ranger and Green Ranger activate their zords. Green Ranger and Black Ranger go after and destroy the drones. The rest of the Rangers continue their battle with Nozzbot, eventually destroying him. Venjix is not happy. With a quick glance at General Crunch, Tenaya 7 points out that she did her job, she got Nozzbot into the city. The teens return to their home. Flynn tells Dillon and Ziggy they did a great job with their zords. They walk up to the screens with Dr. K on it. Dillon tells Dr. K he owes her an apology. Dr. K owes them as well, and the doors to the lab open. The teens hesitantly walk in. They find the booth where Dr. K was, but he is gone. They hear Dr. K's voice behind them and turn around. Dr. K is a young woman.
