Heroes Among Us

Flynn is working on Dillon's car and he can't believe what he sees. Dillon is amused by Flynn's outrage. Summer is standing there as well. Flynn: Your torque converter is the heart of your drive train. It is your best friend, and you have dirt as thick as a brick...dust falls onto Flynn's face. As Flynn clears the dust away from his face, and knocks over a tool. As it clangs against floor, it brings back a memory for Dillon.
Dillon remembers laying on a bed, hook up to wires. An instrument had dropped on the floor. There were several more beds, with more people hook up as he is. Dillon looks across the way and see his sister (her face is turned away from). Dillon reaches out towards her and suddenly a Grinder is standing there, blocking the way.
The alarms sound - bring Dillon back to present time. Dr. K's voice is over the loud speakers. Dr. K: Shield breach at Gate 14. Energy fluctuation near city hall. Flynn, Scott, and Ziggy take off. Summer notices the dazed look on Dillon's face. Summer: Are you okay? Dillon: I think I almost saw my sister. Come on! Dillon and Summer take off with the rest of their friends.
Colonel Truman and his men are being overwhelm in the city by the numerous Grinders and the attack bot. Colonel Truman needs help. Soon the Rangers arrive. Red Ranger, Blue Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Green Ranger, Black Ranger, and Silver Ranger battle the Grinders. A young girl ends up in an alleyway and there are several Grinders heading her way. Colonel Truman has the girl come to him for safely. Unfortunately Colonel Truman and some of his men are surrounded on both sides by Grinders and the attack bot. Suddenly Gold Ranger and Red Ranger are there. Red Ranger battles and defeats the Grinders as Gold Ranger battles and defeats the attack bot. Having won the battle, the two Rangers take off.
Inside Venjix's palace, Venjix has Generals Crunch and Shifter to help him download into his new body. Venjix wants a body strong enough to destroy the Rangers. Meanwhile, Dr. K enters the garage with Colonel Truman and Corporal Hicks. The team lines up. Colonel Truman tells them of a hero he had seen today. Scott thinks his dad is finally acknowledging him, but Colonel Truman is talking about Gem. Colonel Truman awards Gem an medal of valor. Gem is ecstatic over his medal. Colonel Truman and Corporal Hicks leave. Gem is jumping all over the place, showing the medal to Dillon and Gemma. Everyone, except Gem & Gemma, are aware of how hurt Scott is. Flynn walks up to Gem and tries to get him to calm down about the medal. Summer joins Flynn to try and let Gem know what Scott is feeling. Scott leads the team into battle all the time and his dad never sees it. Scott has gone over to his car, obviously upset. Ziggy offers to have a congratulations lunch to celebrate, and he will treat, or rather, he hopes Dillon will treat. Summer walks over to Scott, trying to talk to him about his dad. But Scott doesn't want to hear anything about his dad. Reluctantly Summer and Gem join the rest for the lunch. Scott takes out his picture of his dad and brother. Scott asks what do you want from me. Scott then decides his dad wants a hero, and he is going to prove it he is one. Scott heads out.
Summer, Dillon, Flynn, Ziggy, Gem & Gemma return from lunch. Ziggy brags about getting a phone number, but Dillon takes the napkin, what is written is drop dead. Summer notices Scott's car is missing and she is worried. Flynn and Dillon tell her to give Scott some time and space. Gem notices the tracks on the floor and gets his own idea. Scott is driving his car out in the waste land. Gem follows the tracks in his zord and eventually catches up to Scott, who has stopped once he discovered Gem was following him. Gem gets out of his zord and walks up to Scott. Gem doesn't understand, Scott is always telling him not to just take off and to have a plan. Scott realizes that he screw up. Gem admits that he screw up as well with the medal and tosses the medal away. Scott tells him he did deserve the medal and goes to pick it up. When Scott does, he notices human tracks in the sand. They follow the tracks and see humans below them. There is a Grinder on a bike after them, along with Tenaya 7 and more Grinders. Soon the humans are rounded up. Gem wants to jump in, but Scott wants to come up with a plan first. Meanwhile, at Venjix's palace, General Crunch is assembling Venjix's new body. Venjix warns General Crunch that he better not mess up. Back in the waste land, Tenaya 7 is pleased when Grinders round up two more humans (Scott and Gem). Tenaya 7 notices the medal on Gem and takes it for herself. One of the prisoners, Commander Murdoch assumes the two new prisoners are soldiers. Back at the Ranger room, Dillon, Flynn, Ziggy, Gemma, and Summer tell Dr. K their concern over the missing Scott and Gem. Dr. K is worried too, but if they leave, the city is left unprotected. Back at the waste land, Commander Murdoch walks up to Scott and Gem and tells them Corinth is close by and wants to help them escape. Scott tries to stop him, but Commander Murdoch doesn't listen. Commander Murdoch makes like he is trying to escape and destroys three Grinders in the process. Commander Murdoch is soon captured. Tenaya 7 walks over and tells him that it is too bad, as he would have made a good hybrid. Gem wants to help, but Scott tells him they have to stay with the plan.
Scott continues to tell Gem they need to stay with the plan, but he can no longer take the situation either. Scott and Gem race forward and morph. Red Ranger and Gold Ranger battle the Grinders and Tenaya 7. Gold Ranger instructs the prisoners to run, which most of them do. The Grinders and Tenaya 7 are defeated. Commander Murdoch is very impressed with the "soldiers". Red Ranger and Gold Ranger demorph. Gem looks for his medal and spots it. A Grinder's hand is crawling towards it as well. Gem grabs it first. Gem and Scott instruct everyone to get into the truck, and they take off for Corinth. At Venjix's palace, Venjix's new body is being revealed. The Generals begin downloading Venjix into his new body. Out in the waste land, Scott contacts Dr. K that he is on the way back. Dr. K contacts Colonel Truman to let him know as well. The team heads outside the city's gates to face what is coming. Scott, Gem, and the rest are being chased by several Grinders. Back at Venjix's palace, a screen pops up and the Generals confirm that one of the gates to Corinth is open. Venjix demands the download to stop, even though he is only at 80%, as he wants to take advantage of this opportunity. Outside Corinth, Flynn, Ziggy, Gemma, Summer, and Dillon anxiously wait to see what is heading towards Corinth. At first they see one of Venjix's trucks and then Scott's car. Colonel Truman's team began helping prisoners get off the truck. Ziggy, Gemma, Summer, and Flynn are surprise that more prisoners have been recognized. Dillon wonders if his sister is one of them. Gemma, Summer, Flynn, and Ziggy move forward to help direct the prisoners into Corinth. Dillon watches anxiously, but his sister is not among the prisoners. Summer comes up to Dillon and tells him they will find his sister. Colonel Truman is surprise to see Commander Murdoch among the prisoners. Commander Murdoch gives Scott full credit for his and the rest of the prisoners rescue. Dr. K contacts Scott and hopes he had an enjoyable adventure, but it is time to go back to work. Venjix is back and giant size. The team morphs and form the SkyRev Megazord. The Rangers battle Venjix. It is a difficult battle. Eventually the Rangers are knocked out of their Megazord. Gold Ranger races forward and battle a normal size Venjix. Eventually Gold Ranger is defeated, but now Red Ranger is battling Venjix. After awhile, Gold Ranger tosses Red Ranger his weapon. Red Ranger uses both weapons and defeats Venjix, who is in several pieces. Gold Ranger races up, telling Red Ranger what a great job he did. The rest of the Rangers join them. Red Ranger reminds them there is work to do and they head back to Corinth. General Shifter arrives and picks up the head of Venjix. Venjix is furious that his new body had failed him as well. General Shifter carries Venjix back to the palace.
Dillon is by the pool table, when Scott walks up to him. Scott tells him that Commander Murdoch had told him that Venjix has been injecting humans with the Venjix virus. Dillon feels better knowing he is not the only one. Colonel Truman walks in with two of his men. Colonel Truman walks towards Scott, and tells him if it wasn't for him and his well executed plan, Commander Murdoch and the rest of the humans would not be here. Summer, Dillon, Flynn, Ziggy, Gem, and Gemma gathered around as Colonel Truman presents Scott with a medal of valor and tells him the city of Corinth is grateful. Scott is pleased that he finally has his dad's attention, but he cannot accept the medal. Scott tells his dad he was not brave. He had left his post and acted irresponsibility. Scott gives his dad the medal back and tells him he will accept the medal when he deserves it. Colonel Truman takes the medal back, and is proud of his son's ethics. Colonel Truman and his men leave and Scott feels good about making the right decision.
