A young mom and her baby are walking towards the playground equipment at the park.  The mom is singing to her baby.  The area around the playground equipment is empty.  She sits at a bench and smiles at her baby.  They hear a strange sound.  It is numerous Grinders and they are heading towards the mom and her baby.  Scott:  Shhh!  You'll wake the baby.  Ziggy:  Yeah, and if you wake the baby, I might just have to sing you all a sweet little lullaby and then tuck you into bed without any desert or even a single goodnight kiss.  Oh wait, wait, wait, what am I saying?  That didn't even make sense.  I'm really sorry, kinda new to being a Power Ranger.  I'm still working on my hero one-liners.  Scott:  Look Zig, I told you, they're called one-liners for a reason.  Scott tells Zig they are super heroes.  Several of the Grinders approached and Scott knock them out.  Scott then adds less is more.  Ziggy is very impress.  Ziggy walks over to the mom and her baby, still blown away at how easily Scott had come up with that.  Then the Grinders make they're move.  Ziggy battles the Grinders, while trying to protect the mom.  Scott battles the rest of the Grinders, while trying to protect the baby.  The playground equipment and the stroller are use to battle the Grinders.  Eventually the Grinders are destroyed.  Ziggy and the mom are on top of the equipment when Ziggy loses his balance.  Scott races over with the stroller, baby in arm, and catches Ziggy with the stroller.  The mom rushes over and thanks Ziggy and Scott and then leaves with her baby.

Scott contacts Dr. K and lets her know that they have lost track of the attack bot.  Dr. K tells them to stand by.  Scott and Ziggy morphed.  Red Ranger then contacts Flynn and asks him to get the team together.

Flynn responds by telling Scott they are just finishing cleaning up.  Flynn, Summer, and Dillon are also battling Grinders.  The three teens destroy the Grinders and then morph.

Dr. K contacts the Rangers and tells them she has a lock on the attack bot.  Dr. K sends them the coordinates.  All the Rangers arrive in the area, but there is no sign of an attack bot.

The Rangers contact Dr. K, confused.  Dr. K tells them the attack bot is beneath the ground.  Dr. K sends forth the Croc Carrierzord.  The Croc Carrierzord comes up from beneath the ground, but there is a malfunction and the Croc Carrierzord flies into the city and knocks down the electrical tower.  Colonel Truman wants a report and Corporal Hicks tells him there are civilians in the area.  The Rangers want to help out the civilians, but Dr. K tells them no, they are to pursue the attack bot.  Black Ranger asks Red Ranger what they should do.  This brings back memories for Red Ranger.  Red Ranger remembers his training in the service.  How he could not beat the Sim 42, but that his brother, Marcus, had.  Colonel Truman wanted Marcus to select a second squadron leader.  Marcus' humor turn the tense situation into a light one.  Scott remembers looking at the plaque that commemorate his brother becoming squad leader and feeling proud of his brother, but also that he would never measure up.  Suddenly the building began to shake.  Marcus hurried over to Scott and told him they were heading out and that they were flying dark.  Red Ranger is jarred back to the present.  Red Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers they are going into the city.  The Rangers arrive in the area of the electric tower and they successfully rescue the civilians there.  But their moment of satisfaction does not last long.  Dr. K lets them know that the attack bot has escape and may be the worse one yet.

Ziggy is in the Ranger room as Dr. K figures out what went wrong with the Croc Carrierzord.  It is late, and Ziggy wants to know where Dr. K sleeps, but Dr. K never gives him an answer.  Dr. K finds her mistake, and Ziggy teases her about it.  Dr. K tells him she has only made one other mistake.  The following morning, Dr. K gives the teens a briefing.  Ziggy sleeps through the whole thing.  Dr. K tells the teens her error and how she needs a flux over thruster.  It is not anything they can find in the city or make.  Summer, Dillon, and Flynn are a little lost.  Dr. K tells them Scott knows where to find one.  Scott had walked up to the diagram of the flux overt thruster.  This brings back more memories for Scott.  He remembers sitting in a briefing room as his brother, Marcus, talked about the over thruster flux.  Marcus had no idea what it could do, but he knew what it could make his plane do.  Marcus set out the plan for battling Venjix and staying out there until the shields of the city went up.  Scott wanted to know how they were going to get int.  Marcus joking asked Scott if he wanted to live forever.  The building began to shake.  It was time for action.  Everyone was leaving to get into their planes.  Colonel Truman pulled Scott aside and asked him to pull back.  Scott didn't want to, but his dad insisted.  Scott returns to the present and immediately sets off to see his dad.  Scott asks for the coordinates of Marcus' last flight, but Colonel Truman refuses to give them to Scott.  Scott plans on heading outside the city, alone, and Colonel Truman doesn't think Scott is up to the task.  Colonel Truman adds that his brother would feel the same way.  Colonel Truman gives the disc to Corporal Hicks.  Scott tries to convince his dad, but it is no use.  Corporal Hicks has walked away from his area, but left the disc behind.  Scott grabs the disc and hides it within his jacket.  At the Rangers' headquarters, the alarms go off.  Summer, Flynn, Dillon, and Ziggy race down the stairs and go over to the screens.  Dr. K joins them.  Dr. K informs them there is an attack bot outside the city, it is Scott.  Dillon becomes furious when he realizes that Dr. K had let Scott go outside the city on his own.  Dr. K points out that he is team leader.  Meanwhile, Scott begins searching for the over thrust flux.  Back in headquarters, Dr. K and the four teens are keeping track of Scott's progress.  Dillon becomes very angry with Dr. K for referring to Scott as Series Red Ranger and emphasizes that his name is Scott.   Dr. K isn't fazed.  Makes no difference in the situation as far as Dr. K is concern. Dr. K places in the disc.   It plays the radio transmission of the eagle squadron flight.  Scott had been up in the air, trying to keep the Venjix virus back.  Marcus was leading the team and then took a risky move.  Scott tried to stop him, but it was too late.  Scott lost his brother.  Scott had no choice, but to eject.  Scott landed in the desert terrain and he was hurt.  A young woman on a motorcycle rode up to him.  The woman introduced as Summer and bandage him up.  Scott didn't think they would make it into the city, but Summer was confident they would.  Meanwhile, Scott has found the flux over thruster.  In addition, Scott finds the envelope that Marcus was to fill out with his choice for 2nd Squad Leader.  Scott reads the note.  Scott hears a noise and looks up.  Its the attack bot and numerous Grinders.  Scott makes a run for it.  The perimeter patrol are after him as well.  Scott uses the flux over thrust as a weapon and knocks out several Grinders.  Back at headquarters, Dr. K alerts the rest that Scott's position has been compromised.  Scott grabs the flux over thruster and continues to run, but he doesn't get very far.  There are numerous Grinders blocking his path.

The Grinders come closer and Scott is stuck.  Suddenly there is a blast.  Scott turns around and it is his dad with several guards.  Scott makes a run for the jeep.  The jeep races towards the gates of Corinth with the attack bot and more Grinders after them.  They make it into the city's gates, but so has the attack bot and Grinders.  Scott jumps out of the jeep and asks his dad to take the flux over thruster to Dr. K.  Colonel Truman is very upset with his son for taking such a foolish risk.  Colonel Truman tells him Marcus would not have.  Scott argues back that Marcus would have done the same thing.  Colonel Truman knows this is true.  Scott races into battle as Colonel Truman and Corporal Hicks take off in the jeep to see Dr. K.  Scott morphs.  Red Ranger battles the Grinders, but he needs help.  Soon Yellow Ranger and Blue Ranger arrive.  The three Rangers battle the Grinders and the attack bot.  The three Rangers use the Road Blaster and defeat the attack bot.  Venjix prepares the download and the attack bot is back and giant size.  Red Ranger contacts Dr. K to see if the Croc Carrierzord is ready.  Dr. K is still working on it.  Ziggy and Dillon watch her, along with Colonel Truman and Corporal Hicks.  Dr. K has the Croc Carrierzord ready and it is sent out, along with Green Ranger and Black Ranger.  Numerous drones had arrive and when the Croc Carrierzord arrive, they launch their attack.  Green Ranger and Black Ranger form the ValueMax Megazord with the Croc Carrierzord and their two zords.  Green Ranger and Black Ranger, in their Megazord, battle and destroy the attack bot.  Red Ranger gives the report to Dr. K.  Colonel Truman is very pleased.  Corporal Hicks tells Red Ranger he did a great job.  Colonel Truman and Corporal Hicks hear a strange sound.  They turn around and Dr. K is asleep.

Colonel Truman and Corporal Hick return to their offices.  Colonel Truman gives Corporal Hicks a scolding before handing him the disc.  Corporal Hicks leaves right away to put the disc away properly.  Colonel Truman walks over to his desk and finds the red envelope that had been Marcus.  He opens it.  There is a Flight Application for Scott and a letter from Marcus.  Marcus had recommend his brother for 2nd Squad Leader.  Colonel Truman gives a small smile.
