Ranger Yellow, Part I

The city patrol is being overwhelm by an attack by several Grinders and an attack bot, Boom Bot. Patrol Guy: Get them! The city patrols battles the Grinders, but they are having a difficult time. Patrol Guy: Code Red! Infiltration! One of the patrol guys manages to get over to the jeep and grabs the CB. Patrol Guy: Corinth control tower! This is patrol...Tenaya 7 has walked up and yanked the guy away that was making the distress call. Tenaya 7 is spotted by another patrol guy. Patrol Guy: Hey! Stop her! Instead Tenaya 7 easily stops the patrol guy coming after her by pinning him with her leg. Tenaya 7 grabs the CB and mimics the other's voice perfectly. Tenaya 7: It's all clear. The city patrol is defeated. Tenaya 7 tells the Grinders and Boom Bot to destroy the city.
A group of kids are on a field trip inside Colonel Truman's headquarters. The tour is being lead by Colonel Truman and Corporal Hicks. Dr. K and the teens are there. They field various questions from the kids, such as advice, talking pretty, coolest hair, and who looks the best in tights. A young boy wants to marry Summer and she accepts. Dr. K thinks all of the questions are irrelevant. The young boy thinks that Summer is very nice and asks her if she has always been so nice. This question brings back memories for Summer.
Summer remembers her privilege life style, when she wasn't very nice. How she planned her own surprise birthday party and made sure her butler, Andrews got every detail right. Treating Andrews very badly in the process. Summer didn't care, as her friends surrounded her on her birthday.
There is a breach in the city. Dr. K alerts the team immediately. The guys run out, but Summer is still lost in her thoughts, until Dr. K gets her attention. Summer then runs out of the building as well.
The security guards are having a difficult time against the Grinders and Boom Bot. In addition, the security guards are trying to get several civilians to safety. Flynn, Dillon, Scott, and Ziggy arrived. The four teens quickly leaped into battle against the Grinders. Dillon, Scott, Ziggy, and Flynn morphed. The four Rangers raced towards Boom Bot. Boom Bot knocks them down with his sound wave. The four Rangers have a difficult time against Boom Bot.
The four Rangers are struggling to get back up. Summer arrives on her motorcycle. Summer leaps off her bike and gives Boom Bot a good kick. Summer morphs. Yellow Ranger holds her own against Boom Bot until he backs down. The battle is being monitored by Dr. K, Colonel Truman, and Corporal Hicks. The rest of the Rangers get up. The Rangers form the Road Blaster and the Turbo Plasma Launcher against Boom Bot and defeat him. Venjix begins the download. Boom Bot is back and giant size. The zords are download and the High Octane Megazord is formed. Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger battle Boom Bot, but is difficult. Black Ranger downloads his zord. Black Ranger enters his zord and fires at Boom Bot. Then the black zord forms with the High Octane Megazord to form the Hybrid Combination. The Rangers battle and destroy Boom Bot. Back at headquarters, the kids cheer. One of the boys walk up to Dr. K and asks if she thinks he has what it takes to become a Power Ranger. Dr. K tells him no. Dillon, Flynn, Scott, and Ziggy return to their home first. The guys are teasingly joking around about their hair and talking pretty. Then two strangers come up to them and start lecturing them about keeping the place clean for their daughter. The guys did not like being revered to as servants. Dr. K is there as well. Ziggy recognizes them, but the rest of the guys don't care. The guys point out that they are the Power Rangers. Summer arrived moments later as the guys are trying to throw the two strangers out. The strangers' are Summer's parents. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown remind Summer that they have always been there for her. But this is not how Summer remembers it. Summer remembers the day of her birthday and party. All her friends were there. Summer hurried to the doors when she heard the helicopter outside, confident her parents were arriving. Instead it is Andrews. Andrews tells Summer that her parents are detained in London and can't make it. Summer is upset, she had made sure her party was perfect for her parents. Andrews presents the Landsdown Black Diamond to Summer. Summer is still upset. Brie is awed by the necklace and tells Summer who needs parents when you have blind. Brie leads Summer back into the party. After the party, Summer is crying in her bed. The house begins to shake. Brie comes running in and lets Summer hear about the Venjix attack. Summer is confident that Andrews will help them. Brie tells her that all the servants have left. Summer gets the necklace. Meanwhile, Tenaya 7 is inside a building. She detaches her hand and manages to open a vault. Tenaya 7 is looking for the Black Diamond. Venjix reminds her that it is to help build a more powerful attack bot. Tenaya 7 searches the vault until she finds the diamond.
Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown tell Summer that they have let her have her fun, but now it's time to go. Summer argues back with her parents. Her parents follow her until Summer shuts them out of the Ranger room. Dr. K holds a briefing for the teens. It turns out the Boom Bot was a decoy. There was activity in a different area of the city. The teens are ready to take off. They race through the garage. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown follow their daughter, still arguing their point. Mrs. Landsdown tries to stop Summer from leaving on her bike, by blocking the passageway. Mrs. Landsdown asks her when has she been able to take care of herself. Summer remembers her fateful birthday once more. She remembers how she and her friends were out in the desert terrain, trying to find a way into Corinth. There was a couple of military trucks coming towards them. The first one passed them up, but they managed to flag down the second one. Everyone, except Summer, clambered into the back of the truck. There was no more room. Summer told her friends they would just wait for the next one. Brie and the rest were not willing to wait. The truck started moving forward. Summer hoped onto the back, she couldn't believe her friends would leave her. Brie told her she would be okay, and then pushed her off the truck. Summer was alone. She ran as explosions took place all around her. Summer returns to the present. Summer knows she is more than capable of taking care of herself and she tells her mother to get out of the way as she takes off. In the city, Tenaya 7 contacts Venjix and tells him that she has the diamond. Blue Ranger, Red Ranger, Black Ranger, and Red Ranger arrive and battle Tenaya 7. Tenaya 7 has an easy time battling against the four Rangers. Soon the four Rangers are on the ground. Summer arrives. Summer battles Tenaya 7 and then morphs. Yellow Ranger and Tenaya 7 battle. Yellow Ranger does well against Tenaya 7 and thinks she has her defeated. Yellow Ranger is unaware that Tenaya 7 has detached her hand and the hand has a weapon pointing at her.
Yellow Ranger sees the hand reflected in Tenaya 7's visor. Yellow Ranger then notices Tenaya 7 is missing a hand. Yellow Ranger gets out of the way as the hand fires the weapon, which hits Tenaya 7. Tenaya 7 gets up and tells Yellow Ranger that she is too late. But when Tenaya 7 opens the box, the black diamond is gone. Tenaya 7 knows she has been defeated and walks away as the rest of the Rangers gathered around Yellow Ranger. After the battle, they all return home. Summer is pacing as her parents talk to her. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown remind Summer of her promise. If they left her alone for awhile, she would do what it was that they wanted. Dillon gets angry at them for harassing Summer. The rest of the guys cool Dillon down. Mr. Landsdown holds up the Landsdown Black Diamond and reminds Summer of who she is. The promise that Summer made is to get married.
