Dr. K: Listen carefully, okay. We don't have a lot of time. It started three years ago. The World Internet Federation reported the appearance of an aggressive new computer worm. The Venjix virus. A year later, it was estimated that Venjix had already affected 37% of the world's computer systems. By then it was too late.
Venjix had taken over. People were instructed to take refuge in the domed city of Corinth. Rescue efforts had been put forth to bring in as many people as possible before the city was sealed. Venjix's army was closing in on them. Colonel Mason Truman was in charge of the rescue operation. A school bus came riding in. The driver, Flynn McAllistair, pulled to a stop, tossed out a Grinder, before helping the rest of the passengers disembark. Colonel Truman came up to the bus. Colonel Truman couldn't believe Flynn had managed to get through Venjix's army in one piece. A piece of the bus then fell off, and Flynn commented that he had managed in a couple of pieces. Corporal Hicks came up as well. Corporal Hicks alerted them that the Grinders were getting closer. Flynn took off in the bus. Everyone ran for cover within the city. Although the Eagle Squad had not returned, Colonel Truman gave the orders to seal the city. Inside the control building, everything is set in motion to quickly seal the city and have the doors come down. As the doors come down, a motorcycle is seen racing towards the gates. At the last possible moment, the motorcycle manages to get through the gates. Once the doors are down, the environment controls go into place. The two people on the motorcycle removed their helmets. It is Summer Landsdown and Scott Truman. Colonel Truman and Corporal Hicks walks up to them. Colonel Truman asks Eagle Two (Scott) where Eagle One is. Scott reluctantly tells him Eagle One did not make. Colonel Truman coldly dismisses Eagle Two. Scott is very hurt, but Summer has him walk with her to get his arm looked at. Corporal Hicks asks Colonel Truman about the possibility of not everyone making it to the city in time. Colonel Truman replies than heaven help them, because they can't.
One year later, most of Earth is desert terrain outside of Corinth. A lone car is driving through the desert. The driver is wearing a mask. The car stops as the driver gets out and takes a drink of water. He spots a lone flower and walks over and gives it some water as well. As the driver walks back to his car, he hears a sound. Suddenly there are several Grinders. The driver manages to battle the Grinders and defeats the Grinders. The Grinders are in pieces as the driver gets back in his car and takes off once more. After awhile, the car stops once more. The driver takes uses a device to detect radiation. Once he gets a clear signal, he removes his mask. The driver takes out a map and compass and with a lollipop in his mouth, tries to figure out where he is at. The driver then takes out a pocket watch that plays music. For some reason, the music means something to him, but he doesn't know why. Suddenly the driver feels something at his back. The young man behind him wants his car. The driver knows the guys behind him doesn't have a weapon, but a car part and disarms him fairly quickly. The driver checks the young man's bag for food and water, but finds nothing. The radio is playing and the young man figures out that the driver is trying to get to Corinth. The young man offers to help him, but the driver doesn't believe him at first. The young man pulls out his ID to prove he is a citizen of Corinth. The driver can't believe the young man's name is Ziggy, but he takes him up on his offer. They take off in the car. Ziggy asks the driver his name, but the driver doesn't know his name or where he is from. They eventually reach the outskirts of Corinth. Ziggy wants to wait until nightfall before attempting to get into the city, but the driver doesn't want to wait. If they turn off the car, he can't guarantee the car will start again. The driver races towards the city. Ziggy asks to be drop off, but driver keeps going. Several Grinders on motorcycles go after them. Suddenly Venjix's barrier springs up.
The driver and Ziggy continue to race towards the barricade. The driver sticks his lollipops onto thermo explosives before tossing them out towards the Grinders. The thermo explosives stick to the Grinders and blow them out. The driver and Ziggy knock out numerous Grinders as the city gets closer and closer.
Inside the city, a man approaches General Truman sitting at his desk. The man tells General Truman that there is human life detected outside the dome. General Truman quickly gets up, and with the young man, heads over to Vasquez. Vasquez tells them the scan had picked up human life or possibly two human lives. General Truman wants to know whether it is one or two. Vasquez tells him the scan must be off, because it reads 1 1/2 human lives. Meanwhile, Generals Shifter and Crunch gleefully report to Venjix that humans are approaching the barricade. They all look forward to destroying the humans and begin a countdown. Inside the car, Ziggy talks about how he always wanted to learn a musical instrument, and could have been a great clarinet player. The driver needs another thermo explosive. Ziggy gets one ready and then it is launched accidentally into the back of the car. As Ziggy reaches for the thermo explosive, the driver tells him he can call him Dillon. Ziggy tells him he is pleased to meet him. The car continues straight towards the barricade, the car turns sharply, and the thermo explosive goes flying out the car and does damage to the barricade. Venjix is very upset and a generation five monster is pulled out to stop them. Inside the city, General Truman and his staff are surprised and excited that the humans had made it inside the city. The shields are going back down, but not quick enough. Dr. K tells them she will send in her team. Ziggy is also thrilled to have made it inside the city. Grinders and Generation 5 enter the city as well. Ziggy and Dillon are concern when they see them. But suddenly three teens appear. The three teens are Summer, Scott, and Flynn. The three teens morph into the Power Rangers. Yellow Ranger, Red Ranger, and Blue Ranger battle the Grinders. Ziggy and Dillon watch the whole battle from their car. With the three Rangers busy battling the Grinders, Generation 5 heads towards Dillon and Ziggy.
Dillon and Ziggy watch as Generation 5 gets closer and closer. Yellow Ranger sees what is going on and quickly leaps into action. Yellow Ranger battles and chases Generation 5 away. Yellow Ranger gives the two guys a quick wave. Red Ranger and Blue Ranger join Yellow Ranger and make sure she is okay before pursuing Generation 5. Ziggy is thrilled and yells out "Go Rangers". Dillon asks Dillon who are the Rangers. Ziggy can't believe Dillon does not know about the Power Rangers.
