Martin and Clara Landsdown are the parents of Summer. They are very wealthy. Before the Venjix virus attack, Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown were suppose to come to Summer's surprise birthday party. They ended up being detained in London and never made it. Instead they sent her the Landsdown Black Diamond. The Venjix virus would attack soon after. After the attack, Summer wanted to become independent of her parents. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown let her leave to give her some space, but not without a condition. Time passed and Summer became the Yellow RPM Power Ranger. After some time as a Ranger, Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown paid a surprise visit to the Rangers' home. They were not impressed. Dr. K was there and soon Flynn, Dillon, Scott, and Ziggy entered. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown assumed the guys were servants. Martin tossed a pool stick to Dillon and asked him to get it ready for him. Dillon broke it in half and passed it back to Martin. Clara was not happy with the way the dust everywhere. She wanted to know why they haven't done a better keeping the place clean for their daughter and the Power Rangers. Flynn told them they are the Power Rangers. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown were surprised - they didn't expect the Power Rangers to be so middle class. Ziggy recognized them, but the rest of the guys could care less. They were about to toss them out, when Summer pulled in on her bike. Summer was surprised to see her parents. The guys gave Summer time with her parents. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown were ready for Summer to come with them. They didn't see how she could live with regular people - how do they eat. Summer told them it was called getting a job. They were somewhat surprise that Summer was a Power Ranger - something Summer was very proud of. It was important to Summer. Clara was offended - more important than them! Summer entered the Ranger room and let the doors close on her parents. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown stayed close to the door and waited. Eventually the doors opened again and the guys ran out. Summer followed close behind the guys. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown tried to stop her from leaving, by blocking the way out. Summer told them she could take care of herself. Mrs. Landsdown asked her since when? Summer paused for a moment and then took off. But Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown were not about to give up. They waited until the battle was done and Summer returned with the black diamond that Tenaya 7 had tried to steal. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown told Summer they had done what she had requested, given her space, now it was time for her to honor her promise. Dillon got mad, he didn't like the way Summer's parents were talking to her. Dillon felt Summer should do what she wanted. Scott pointed out that it could be to go back to school or come home. Summer told them it was to get married. Summer had promised her parents she would get married. Mr. Landsdown held up the necklace and told Summer it was time she remembered who she was.
Summer refused to get married. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown needed Summer to get married to Chaz. They contacted the newspapers, announcing the upcoming wedding of Summer and Chaz. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown were at a rehearsal luncheon with the Winchesters when Summer came up, holding a newspaper, and wanting to know what was going on. Mrs. Winchester greeted Summer warmly. Mr. Landsdown pointed out that Chaz was here as well and Summer gave a small wave to the young man. Brie came running up from behind for a bridesmaid hug. Brie told Summer she knew she would be alright after she pushed her off the truck. Everyone, except Summer, smiled. Summer told her parents they needed to talk. They went to the garage. Summer told her parents she was not getting married to Chaz, she was not marrying anyone. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown told her she had to. Summer asked why, what was going to happen to her. But it wasn't what was going to happen to Summer, it was what was going to happened to Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown had arrived in Corinth City broke. Prior to the attack, their fortune had been tied up in investments. The black diamond necklace had been kept simply for appearances sake. Summer wanted to know why they hadn't said anything. Mr. Landsdown asked her when could they tell her - she had been busy saving everyone in her yellow tights. Everyone except them. Mrs. Landsdown could not get over the concept that they had no idea. She wondered how other people did it. Summer told them they were busy with their jobs. Summer told her parents she was not in love with Chaz. Mrs. Landsdown laughed and told Summer she hoped they wouldn't have had to push her so hard if she was in love. Mr. Landsdown asked Summer what had changed her mind. A year ago she would have jumped at a chance to marry Chaz. Summer didn't answer the question. Summer told them Venjix was after the diamond necklace and she needed it. Mr. Landsdown told her the necklace would be presented to her, at the wedding reception. The wedding went ahead and it was it take place in the garage. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown were very happy. Mrs. Winchester was taken aback at the setting, but they reassured it was the thing to do, and there was a three year waiting list. Everyone was ready. The music began and Mr. Landsdown walked the bride up the aisle. Mr. Landsdown wanted everyone to welcome back the old Summer, and he was happy to say the old Summer was back to stay. Mrs. Landsdown applauded. Scott stood up. Scott told Mr. Landsdown before they welcome the old Summer back, maybe they should hear about the new Summer. Scott had crashed and he had sent out his coordinates. But the shields were getting ready to go into place, and Scott was too far out. Summer left and rescue him. They barely made it through the gates. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown remember that day as well. They had tried to talk Summer out of going. They were the Landsdown, they don't help people. Summer told them this one does. Mr. Landsdown held up the Landsdown black diamond and told Scott that was when Summer gave them this. Suddenly Tenaya 7 came flying through the air and grabbed the necklace. Mr. Landsdown hurried over to his wife as several Grinders and Camera Bot entered. Tenaya 7 looked at the bride and told her she loved the dress. Tenaya 7 tore off the veil and it was Dr. K, not Summer. Summer then came swinging into the garage. Summer knew that no cater would place a wedding cake next to a recycle oil barrel. A battle breaks out as the guys battle the Grinders. Chaz hides and Mrs. Winchester is terrified. Summer and Tenaya 7 battled it out as well. At one point, Summer gets the necklace back. Tenaya 7 goes after Summer and manages to get the necklace and give it to Camera Bot. Camera Bot heads out into the city. Summer gives Tenaya 7 a kick that sends her flying. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown are very impressed. Summer and the guys morphed and head out. The Rangers destroy Camera Bot. After the battle, the guys work on setting everything back in it's place. Mrs. Winchester is outrage - sword play and fighting - what kind of Landsdown was Summer. Mr. Landsdown spoke very proudly when he replied a new kind, a better kind. Mr. & Mrs. Landsdown were getting ready to leave with their daughter when Mrs. Winchester told them the wedding was still on. Mrs. Winchester knew that the Landsdowns were broke and they needed the Winchester's money - what would they do without it. Mrs. Landsdown replied she believed it was called getting a job. Mrs. Landsdown then tossed the bouquet. Brie excitedly went after it and ended up falling into the wedding cake. Flynn was upset over the waste of a good cake.
